Abstract

The website-based water bill payment information system at BUMDes Saling Sedok is a system used to carry out tariff management, more efficient customer data management, daily and monthly reports and outstanding bills along with water meter recording. It is hoped that this water bill payment information system will make it easier for officers or managers to carry out management by storing and processing payment transaction data from existing customers. The research method used is the waterfall method in planning and development, while the power collection method uses observation and interview methods starting from analysis, planning, designing and creating a website-based water bill payment information system with the achievements of the stages that occur in managing water bill payment power. it becomes easier, more effective and efficient. The software used for program design and implementation uses xampp as the web server, phpMySQL as the database and visual studio code as the text editor for writing php and html scripts. The results of this community service research include a project to design a website-based water bill payment information system to make it easier for officers to record water bill reports such as customer data, tariff data, bill data and water meter usage data. Using information system testing with the black box testing method and the final stage is implementing the information system which includes the implementation of software, hardware, databases and interfaces of the resulting information system

Abstract

Insurance literacy plays a crucial role in expanding farmers' access to insurance. Lack of understanding of insurance products and inability to process information prevent farmers from making the right decisions, which leads to low levels of insurance participation. This study aims to analyze the level of knowledge, attitudes, and behavior of farmers towards insurance and examine the factors that influence farmers' insurance literacy. Data were collected directly from 94 farmer households in four sub-districts in Aceh Besar Regency. This study measured farmers' insurance literacy using a questionnaire and then conducted a regression analysis using the ordinary least squares (OLS) method on variables suspected of influencing insurance literacy. The results of this study indicate that farmers' insurance literacy is sufficient literate. Variables such as gender, age, education level, and main occupation significantly affect farmers' understanding of insurance. The average scores of farmers' knowledge, attitudes, and practices towards insurance were 42.23, 71.36, and 46.28, respectively. Education has a significant impact on farmers' knowledge of insurance. This study suggests that the government and other stakeholders can carry out promotional activities, socialization and training periodically to increase insurance knowledge and awareness.

Abstract

The research aims to enhance marine literacy and raise awareness among high school students in Mempawah Regency about vital role of mangrove ecosystems in maintaining coastal environmental balance. Limited student understanding has contributed to low participation in conservation efforts. A participatory educational approach was implemented through material presentation, interactive discussion, and marine equipment demonstrations. Questionnaire results indicated that over 90% of participants reported an increased understanding, with most expressing motivation to engage in mangrove conservation activities. These findings highlight the effectiveness of participatory methods in fostering marine literacy and environmental awareness. The program’s success is expected to serve as a sustainable model for environmental education in schools and can be expanded to promote ecological consciousness at the community level.

Abstract

Kerusakan ekosistem pesisir merupakan salah satu persoalan lingkungan yang hingga kini masih membutuhkan perhatian serius, terutama akibat abrasi pantai, alih fungsi lahan, dan rendahnya kesadaran masyarakat dalam menjaga lingkungan pesisir. Setiap tahunnya, kawasan pesisir mengalami tekanan yang semakin meningkat, baik dari aktivitas ekonomi maupun rumah tangga yang berdampak pada berkurangnya luasan hutan mangrove. Kondisi ini diperburuk dengan belum terbentuknya kebiasaan masyarakat dalam menjaga, menanam, dan merawat mangrove sebagai benteng alami pantai. Padahal, mangrove memiliki peran penting dalam melindungi garis pantai dan menjaga keseimbangan ekosistem pesisir. Kegiatan penanaman mangrove dilaksanakan di Pantai Batu Tunggal, Kabupaten Bangka oleh mahasiswa dan komunitas peduli lingkungan serta bekerja sama dengan Balai Pengelola Daerah Aliran Sungai (BPDAS) Baturusa Cerucuk. Melalui kegiatan penanaman mangrove ini diharapkan dapat memberikan edukasi langsung mengenai pentingnya menjaga kelestarian lingkungan, sekaligus menumbuhkan kesadaran kolektif untuk berpartisipasi aktif dalam pelestarian pesisir. Program ini tidak hanya bertujuan menciptakan kawasan yang hijau dan bebas dari ancaman abrasi, tetapi juga menghasilkan dampak positif berupa peningkatan pengetahuan, kepedulian lingkungan, dan potensi pemanfaatan mangrove sebagai sumber pertahanan ekosistem pesisir yang berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Biodiesel is a renewable fuel with great potential to support energy transition in Indonesia. This research aims to analyze the impact of the policy of developing biodiesel on CPO prices. Time series and secondary data from January 2015 to December 2023 were used in this research with the Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) method. The dependent variable was the domestic CPO prices and the independent variable were the price of CPO in the international market, biodiesel production volume, exports of CPO and its processed products, price of palm cooking oil, export levies, export duties, CPO production volume, and the Rupiah exchange rate against the United States Dollar. The results in the short run was the domestic CPO prices were influenced positively and significantly by the volume of biodiesel production, the export volume of CPO and its processed products, and the price of palm cooking oil. In the long run, domestic CPO prices were significantly and positively influenced by international CPO prices and palm cooking oil prices. At the same time, export levy, CPO production volume, and the Rupiah exchange rate are significantly and negatively influenced. These results indicate that biodiesel production impacts the prices of biodiesel raw materials and cooking oil in the short run.

Abstract

Di Indonesia, produksi buah pisang paling tinggi dibandingkan buah-buah lainnya. Salah satu variasinya adalah Pisang Cavendish, yang memiliki nilai ekonomi tinggi dan berpotensi mendukung pemulihan ekonomi Indonesia. Karena permintaan yang tinggi terhadap buah Pisang Cavendish, para petani menggunakan gas etilen untuk mempercepat pemeraman buah. Proses pemeraman dilakukan dengan mengarahkan gas etilen yang diambil dari wadah ke ruang pemeraman secara manual melalui sistem pipa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk membuat prototipe sistem otomatis penggunaan gas etilen dan pengatur suhu, dimana tekanan kompresor merupakan alternatif tekanan gas etilen. Sistem ini beroperasi secara otomatis sesuai dengan jadwal yang telah diatur pada Modul RTC. Ada sebuah Sensor Pressure Transmitter yang bertugas mengukur tekanan dengan tingkat kesalahan 3.5%, Selenoid Valve yang berperan dalam mengalirkan tekanan udara ke dalam kotak yang dilengkapi dengan kipas DC sebagai penyebar, serta Sensor DHT22 yang digunakan untuk pemantauan suhu dengan tingkat kesalahan 2.8%. Informasi mengenai waktu, suhu, dan nilai tekanan ditampilkan di layar LCD dengan ukuran 20x4. Pengujian sistem melibatkan penjadwalan waktu di mana perangkat dinyalakan satu menit setelah sistem diaktifkan. Selanjutnya, perangkat dihidupkan kembali setelah waktu berbeda-beda, yakni 2 dan 5 menit. Nilai tekanan diatur pada 30Psi. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian otomasi sistem, alat berhasil dengan tingkat keberhasilan mencapai 80%, sehingga sistem otomasi ini siap untuk diimplementasikan secara langsung pada perangkat pemeraman buah Pisang Cavendish.

Abstract

Bullying adalah masalah serius yang sering terjadi di lingkungan sekolah, termasuk sekolah dasar. Tindakan kekerasan ini tidak hanya berdampak negatif pada korban secara fisik dan psikologis, tetapi juga menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang tidak kondusif. Sosialisasi pencegahan kekerasan bullying di lingkungan SD khususnya di SDN 2 Baleasri merupakan inisiatif penting untuk menciptakan suasana belajar yang aman dan mendukung perkembangan siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan partisipatif dengan melibatkan mahasiswa melalui konsep diskusi, tanya jawab, dan permainan sederhana kepada mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sosialisasi interaktif yang melibatkan seluruh elemen sekolah mampu meningkatkan pemahaman tentang bentuk-bentuk bullying, dampaknya, dan cara mencegahnya. Selain itu, program tersebut berhasil membangun kesadaran kolektif akan pentingnya menciptakan lingkungan sekolah yang aman, nyaman dan inklusif. Penting untuk ditekankan bahwa pencegahan bullying tidak hanya menjadi tanggung jawab guru atau sekolah, tetapi juga melibatkan peran aktif orang tua dan siswa itu sendiri. Melalui sosialisasi ini, orang tua diharapkan dapat lebih memahami tanda-tanda bullying pada anaknya dan memberikan dukungan yang diperlukan. Selain itu, siswa juga diajarkan untuk memiliki keberanian untuk melaporkan bullying yang mereka lihat atau alami, serta bagaimana melindungi diri dan teman-temannya. Dengan melibatkan semua pihak, diharapkan bahwa.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the environmental factors of coffee shops that contribute to enhancing students’ learning creativity in Madiun City, particularly at the Kopi Dari Hati coffee shop. In the modern era, coffee shops are not only places for leisure but have evolved into alternative spaces for students to study and express creativity. A comfortable, aesthetic, and flexible environment is believed to influence mood, motivation, and creative thinking during learning activities. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach through field observation, interviews, and documentation. The informants consist of the owner, employees, and student visitors of the coffee shop. The findings reveal that physical factors such as spatial layout, interior design, and lighting have significant effects on comfort and concentration during study activities. Meanwhile, social factors such as visitor interactions and the level of social comfort also contribute to creating an inspiring and stress-free learning atmosphere. Flexible room arrangements, aesthetic interiors, warm lighting, and the presence of both quiet and lively zones are identified as dominant elements that support the emergence of creative ideas. However, minor obstacles such as limited power outlets, noise, and small table sizes remain challenges for some visitors. Overall, the study concludes that coffee shops can serve as effective alternative learning spaces when they successfully balance functional, aesthetic, and social aspects to facilitate students’ creative learning processes.

Abstract

Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) is a common hormonal disorder among women of reproductive age, often leading to menstrual irregularities, infertility, and metabolic issues. Diagnosing PCOS remains challenging due to the wide range of symptoms and varying patient responses to treatment. Therefore, this study aims to apply artificial intelligence (AI) to identify key symptoms contributing to PCOS based on patients' clinical data.This study employs a machine learning approach, with the Support Vector Machine (SVM) algorithm as the primary method for classifying patients with and without PCOS. The data used was sourced from patient medical records, which included clinical data parameters obtained from the Kaggle website, with a total of 541 patient data samples. The research stages include data collection and preprocessing, selection of main features using feature selection technique, model training with SVM algorithm. The AI model developed produces 10 main features that affect the diagnosis with an accuracy value of 90.74% which shows that the model has the ability to classify PCOS and non-PCOS sufferers. In addition, the matrix shows a balance between the matrix values for precision 87.5%, recall 82.35% and F1 score 84.85%. The results of this study are expected to contribute to the medical field, especially in supporting faster and more accurate early diagnosis and personalization of PCOS treatment.

Abstract

T Nusantara Totalindo Logistik is a business that operates in the freight forwarding sector with rapid progress, but they are facing introduction and turbulences. To meet both occurrences, they need business resilience strategies. The Business Resilience Strategy was realized to identify PT NTL's business potential and advantages and build business resilience for PT NTL through creating a vision and mission statement until risk management. This research aims to develop resiliency over PT NTL business to enhance business potential and realize a business resilience strategy by establishing a vision and mission for business risk management. The research data and methodological approach for this research came from interviews and questionnaires regarding risk management and creating business resilience strategy through vision and mission statement until risk management by identifying vulnerability factors and capability factors, designing work programs and risk management, IFE Analysis, EFE Analysis, VRIO Analysis, TOWS Strategy Matrix, work program and creating risk management. Based on the research result, we can conclude that a business resilience strategy starts from assembling a vision and mission statement to risk management. The managerial implications of a business resilience strategy are establishing the strategy up to risk management.
