Abstract

The e-BANGKIT application is a digital innovation developed under the BANGKIT program to enhance efficiency and facilitate the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5), based on local wisdom in wetland environments at the elementary school level, through the integration of Android-based technology. This study aims to: (1) develop the e-BANGKIT application as a digital innovation for the P5 program in elementary schools within wetland areas, and (2) evaluate the effectiveness of the e-BANGKIT application in supporting the implementation of P5 in those schools. The research employed the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The results show that the product underwent validation by subject matter experts, media experts, and language experts. Product trials were conducted to measure teacher and student responses in three elementary schools. Data were collected using observation sheets, questionnaires, and documentation. Validation results indicated average scores of 84.6% from subject matter experts, 89.5% from media experts, and 90% from language experts. Teacher questionnaires yielded a score of 82.8%, while a limited trial with fifth-grade students resulted in a score of 94.8%. These findings suggest that the e-BANGKIT application is feasible, practical, and effective.

Abstract

The low levels of student activity, responsibility of character, and learning outcomes in Pancasila Education are the focus of this study. One contributing factor is the use of one-way teaching methods that offer minimal student participation. As a result, students struggle to understand the material and fail to demonstrate responsible behavior during the learning process. This study aims to describe teacher and student activities, analyze responsibility character, and assess student learning outcomes through the PERMEN model. A qualitative approach with Classroom Action Research (CAR) was used over four meetings. The subjects were 14 fourth grade students, consisting of 8 boys and 6 girls. Qualitative data were obtained through observation, and quantitative data came from questionnaires and tests. The results showed consistent improvement from meetings 1 to 4: student activity increased from 29% to 100% (very active), responsibility character rose from 57% to 93% (very responsible), and classical completeness in cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains improved from 50%, 50%, and 57% to 100%, respectively. The PERMEN model proved effective in enhancing student activity, responsibility character, and learning outcomes. Its application offers an alternative to build interactive learning experiences and foster active student participation.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the suboptimal critical thinking skills of grade 6 students at SDN Kuin Selatan 1 due to the monotonous and minimally stimulating Pancasila Education learning process. The gap between the curriculum's demands for critical thinking and the reality of passive learning necessitates intervention. The focus of this research is to improve students' critical thinking skills on the topic "My Identity and My Ensvironment" through the application of the SANTUN model (a combination of Problem-Based Learning, Numbered Heads Together, and Word Square). This study used a qualitative Classroom Action Research (CAR) method implemented over four meetings. Data collection was conducted through a written essay test at the end of each meeting, which was analyzed based on five critical thinking indicators (interpretation, analysis, evaluation, inference, and explanation). The results showed progressive and significant progress in students' critical thinking skills, increasing from 43% (Fair) in the first meeting, to 62% (High), then 81% (Very High), and reaching a peak of 86% (Very High) in the fourth meeting. It was concluded that the implementation of the SANTUN model proved highly effective and successfully improved students' critical thinking skills beyond the established success indicators.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of school principals' servant leadership, work motivation, and job commitment on the performance of public elementary school teachers in Dusun Timur District. A quantitative correlational approach was used, with path analysis as the main analytical technique. The sample consisted of 169 teachers selected proportionally from a population of 292. Data were collected through a structured Likert-scale questionnaire. The findings revealed that: (1) servant leadership, work motivation, and job commitment each had a significant direct effect on teacher performance; (2) servant leadership and work motivation significantly influenced job commitment; and (3) job commitment served as a significant mediating variable in the relationship between servant leadership and work motivation on teacher performance. The coefficient of determination showed that the three independent variables explained 56% of the variance in teacher performance, with the remaining 44% influenced by other factors. These results emphasize that a servant leadership style and strong intrinsic motivation can significantly enhance teachers’ job commitment and performance. Therefore, strengthening principals' leadership capacities and enhancing teachers' internal motivation are effective strategies for improving the quality of basic education.

Abstract

This study aimed to explore classroom management strategies and to identify demographic factors influencing classroom management competencies among junior high school teachers in the context of modern learning. Using a quantitative, cross-sectional survey design, data were collected from 48 public and private junior high school teachers using a validated Classroom Management Scale covering multiple dimensions of classroom practice. The findings indicate that most teachers demonstrate high levels of classroom management skills. Feedback, the creation of a conducive learning environment, and effective instructional techniques emerged as the most dominant strategies, reflecting a proactive and student-centered approach. Comparative analysis revealed that teaching experience and age had a stronger influence on classroom management competence than formal academic qualifications or employment status. Notably, the study identified a non-linear pattern of classroom management ability, which peaked at 10–20 years of teaching experience before declining at later career stages, likely due to burnout. These findings highlight the importance of differentiated professional development programs that emphasize experiential learning, mentoring, digital literacy, and teacher well-being rather than reliance on formal qualifications alone.
