Abstract

Peningkatan kompetensi pedagogik guru merupakan aspek krusial dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan. SD Negeri 001 Sangatta Selatan menghadapi tantangan dalam penerapan metode pembelajaran inovatif yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa, sehingga diperlukan manajemen kepala sekolah yang efektif dalam merencanakan, mengorganisasikan, melaksanakan, dan mengawasi program peningkatan kompetensi pedagogik guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Teknik analisis data menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman, yang terdiri dari reduksi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan kesimpulan. Keabsahan data diperiksa melalui triangulasi sumber dan teknik Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen kepala sekolah dalam peningkatan kompetensi pedagogik guru dilakukan melalui empat tahap utama: 1) Perencanaan: Kepala sekolah mengidentifikasi kebutuhan guru dan menyusun program peningkatan kompetensi, termasuk pelatihan, workshop, studi tiru, dan mentoring antar guru. 2) Pengorganisasian: Struktur organisasi sekolah dirancang untuk mendukung peningkatan pedagogik guru, dengan peran kepala sekolah sebagai pemimpin strategis dan guru senior sebagai mentor bagi guru junior. 3) Pelaksanaan: Program peningkatan kompetensi dilaksanakan melalui Kelompok Kerja Guru (KKG), pelatihan berbasis praktik, serta pemanfaatan teknologi dan Learning Management System (LMS). 4) Pengawasan: Evaluasi dilakukan melalui supervisi kelas, observasi langsung, serta penilaian hasil belajar siswa. Implikasi dari penelitian ini mengarah pada perlunya kebijakan pendidikan yang lebih mendukung pengembangan profesionalisme guru secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Manajemen Kepemimpinan transformasional dan pelayanan kepala sekolah telah banyak dikaji dalam berbagai konteks pendidikan, tetapi masih minim penelitian yang membahas implementasinya di sekolah yang berada di lingkungan hutan tropis lembab. Tujuan penelitian untuk mendeskripsikan manajemen kepala sekolah dalam peningkatan kinerja guru melalui kepemimpinan transformasional dan pelayanan di sekolah dasar lingkungan hutan tropis lembab. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui, observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru di sekolah dasar yang berada di lingkungan hutan tropis lembab mencakup empat aspek utama. 1) Perencanaan saat memberikan kebebasan guru dalam menyusun strategi pembelajaran, mendukung pengembangan kompetensi melalui pelatihan, serta mempertimbangkan pemanfaatan teknologi dan kondisi alam. 2). Pengorganisasian dalam pembentukan komunitas belajar (kombel) dan kelompok kerja guru (KKG), kolaborasi dengan masyarakat, serta upaya mengatasi keterbatasan fasilitas melalui pengajuan bantuan. 3). Pelaksanaan mencakup penerapan workshop, pembelajaran berbasis kearifan lokal, pemanfaatan teknologi, serta kebijakan pembelajaran mandiri saat terjadi banjir. 4). Pengawasan dilakukan melalui pemantauan berkelanjutan, evaluasi rutin, motivasi dalam peningkatan kinerja guruTemuan ini menegaskan pentingnya kepemimpinan transformasional dan pelayanan kepala sekolah dalam menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang kondusif dan meningkatkan kinerja guru.

Abstract

Quality culture is a fundamental element in improving the quality of education in basic education units. Principals and vice principals have a strategic role in shaping a culture of quality through systematic planning, organization, implementation, and evaluation. This community service activity aims to increase the understanding of principals and deputy principals of elementary/MI schools in Tenggarong City regarding strategic formulations in building a culture of quality in their respective school environments. The activity will be held in June 2025 at the Kutai Kartanegara Regency Library Building, Tenggarong. The implementation method includes the delivery of materials, workshops, and interactive discussions that actively involve participants. The results of the activity showed an increase in participants' understanding of the concept of quality culture as well as the initial ability to develop strategic plans based on school conditions. This activity is expected to be the first step in strengthening the managerial capacity of school principals to encourage the creation of a sustainable quality culture in elementary schools and madrasah ibtidaiyah.

Abstract

School-Based Management (SBM) is an educational management approach that grants schools autonomy to manage resources and make independent decisions by involving principals, teachers, parents, and the community to improve education quality. This study aims to describe the implementation of SBM at Linggang Bigung Public Senior High School as a strategic effort to enhance school quality. Using a qualitative approach with a case study method, the research focuses on the planning, implementation, evaluation, and supervision processes of SBM at SMAN 1 and SMAN 2 Linggang Bigung. Data were collected through interviews with principals, teachers, students, and parents, as well as through documentation analysis related to SBM implementation. The findings indicate that the implementation of SBM successfully created a learning environment more relevant to the needs of students and the community, while also increasing transparency and accountability in school management. Evaluations conducted at both schools showed significant achievements in academic performance and student character development. However, follow-up actions on evaluation results still require optimization, particularly in strengthening corrective measures and improving facilities and infrastructure. Furthermore, the principals’ leadership, characterized by adaptive and transformational styles, effectively motivated teachers and staff to innovate in teaching practices. In conclusion, active participation from all stakeholders—including teachers, students, parents, and school committees plays a crucial role in reinforcing SBM implementation, which in turn contributes to comprehensive improvements in education quality.

Abstract

The use of SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats) analysis is a crucial tool in identifying and understanding the competitive position of a school. This research aims to describe the principal's strategy based on SWOT analysis in improving the quality of Muara Badak Integrated Islamic Elementary School. This research used a qualitative approach with a case study method conducted through interviews, observation, and documentation. The research results using SWOT analysis show that SDIT (Sekolah Dasar Islam Terpadu, Integrated Islamic Elementary School) Muara Badak improves the quality of education by 1) utilizing internal strengths systematically through the principal's leadership, which involves teachers, committees, and parents in policymaking; 2) the foundation provides financial support and resources without operational intervention, while the committee and parents actively contribute to school funding and activities; 3) the principal addresses administrative weaknesses by focusing on learning outcomes using clear guidance books and postponing the use of risky technology; 4) the school also leverages its position as the only integrated Islamic school in the region by strengthening branding through social media and teachers' role modeling of Islamic values. The threat of a less strategic location is overcome by providing school shuttle services, increasing parents' trust and the number of registrants; 5) routine evaluations and strengthening teachers' spirituality through reciting activities and close collaboration between the foundation, committees, and parents are key to the success of continuous quality improvement. Research recommendations include conducting comparative studies to identify best practices by comparing SDIT Muara Badak with other schools and developing an implementation model for a SWOT-based quality improvement strategy that can be widely applied by considering each school's context

Abstract

The principal must have good management skills in improving teacher performance. This study aims to describe the planning, organizing, implementing and supervising carried out by the principal to improve teacher performance at the Islamic Center Elementary School in Samarinda. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection techniques include observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, with data validity tested through triangulation of sources and methods. The research findings reveal that 1) Principal  planning through comprehensive identification of teacher professional development needs, designing relevant ongoing training programs, providing resources and infrastructure that support learning innovation, and formulating measurable performance targets and transparent evaluation systems 2) Organizing principal  must be reflected through the application of collaborative management principles, including clear and accountable division of tasks, the formation of competent supervisory and mentor teams, and facilitating effective communication and synergistic collaboration between teachers, 3) The implementation of principal  is implemented through the provision of training, application workshops, and the adoption of innovative technology-based learning models to spur teacher creativity and mastery of technology, 4) Supervision of principal  is carried out through clinical supervision that focuses on development, formative evaluation of teacher performance, constructive follow-up of evaluation results, and ongoing individual coaching programs. Comprehensively, principal leadership management to improve teacher performance through training has been implemented effectively and consistently with the principles of modern education management. This study provides practical implications for the development of an effective principal leadership model in improving the quality of education at the elementary school level.

Abstract

This study utilizes a descriptive qualitative method, selected because it allows an in-depth exploration of the collaboration between vocational education and the shipping industry from multiple perspectives. Data collection through interviews, observations, and document analysis provides a comprehensive understanding of the processes, experiences, and challenges involved in enhancing the internship competencies of shipping students at SMK Negeri 8 Samarinda. This approach is well-suited to capturing the complex interactions and dynamic relationships between the school and industry partners in real-world settings. The findings reveal a strong, collaborative framework where school leaders, teachers, and industry representatives work closely to design and implement an internship program that integrates both technical skills and essential soft skills required in maritime careers. The curriculum is regularly updated to align with national and international standards, and students receive preparatory training and certifications to ensure industry readiness. Supervision and mentoring during internships foster the development of skills and professionalism. Importantly, the dual evaluation system involving both the school and industry partners provides ongoing, actionable feedback that supports continuous program improvement. This study uniquely contributes by offering a detailed account of a successful, synergistic collaboration model specifically tailored to vocational maritime education, addressing a gap in prior research that often generalizes education-industry partnerships. It highlights the integration of soft skills within technical training and emphasizes the value of collaborative program evaluation, which together significantly enhance student competence and preparedness for the maritime workforce. By documenting these innovative practices in the Indonesian vocational education context, this research provides valuable insights and a replicable model for other maritime schools aiming to improve internship effectiveness through meaningful industry collaboration

Abstract

Pengalaman belajar di kelas memiliki peran penting dalam menentukan capaian siswa, namun praktik pembelajaran yang terlalu berpusat pada buku teks sering membatasi keterlibatan aktif mereka, khususnya dalam mata pelajaran IPAS. Dengan demikian, studi ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis bagaimana model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Teams Games Tournament (TGT) mempengaruhi hasil belajar IPAS siswa kelas IV di SDN 008 Samarinda Ilir. Studi ini menggunakan One Group Pretest-Posttest Design dan metodologi Pre-Experimental Design dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, populasi yang diteliti terdiri dari seluruh siswa kelas IV di SDN 008 Samarinda Ilir dan diambil sampel sejumlah 30 orang, dengan melakukan analisis data berupa uji normalitas dan uji hipotesis menggunakan uji Paired Sample t-test. Temuan dari analisis menyatakan bahwa data penelitian terdistribusi normal. Hasil dari pengujian hipotesis menunjukkan nilai signifikansi (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000. Oleh karena itu, Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak karena nilai ini berada di bawah tingkat signifikansi 0,05. Dapat dikatakan bahwa model Teams Games Tournament (TGT) memiliki implikasi yang secara statistik signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas IV IPAS di SDN 008 Samarinda

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas II B SDN 008 Samarinda Ilir, di mana 63% atau 17 siswa memperoleh nilai di bawah KKTP. Salah satu penyebabnya adalah kurangnya variasi media pembelajaran dan keterlibatan aktif siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media Wordwall terhadap hasil belajar matematika pada materi bilangan cacah. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode pre-eksperimen dan desain One Group Pretest Posttest Design. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 27 siswa kelas II B yang dipilih melalui purposive sampling. Instrumen berupa 20 soal pilihan ganda, dianalisis dengan uji normalitas dan Paired Sample T-test. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan nilai rata-rata dari 54,07 menjadi 70,37. Uji hipotesis menunjukkan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05, yang berarti media pembelajaran wordwall berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas II. Dengan demikian, Wordwall terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika pada materi bilangan cacah

Abstract

Proses pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila di SD Negeri 004 Samarinda Ulu menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa di kelas VB masih tergolong rendah, di mana 69% siswa memperoleh nilai di bawah Kriteria Ketercapaian Tujuan Pembelajaran (KKTP). Rendahnya hasil belajar ini diduga disebabkan oleh metode ceramah yang monoton, minimnya keterlibatan siswa, serta kurangnya relevansi materi dengan kehidupan nyata, terutama dalam pembelajaran tentang keragaman budaya. Kurangnya interaksi antarsiswa dan penyajian materi yang tidak kontekstual turut menjadi penghambat pencapaian hasil belajar yang optimal. Hal ini menunjukkan perlunya pendekatan pembelajaran inovatif yang dapat mendorong keaktifan, pemahaman, dan keterlibatan siswa secara menyeluruh dalam menginternalisasi nilai-nilai Pancasila. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran berbasis proyek terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dangan pendekatan kuantitatif, penelitian eksperimen yang digunakan adalah quasi eksperimental dengan desain nonequivalent control group design . Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas V SD Negeri 004 Samarinda Ulu, dengan sampel berjumlah 56 siswa yang terbagi dalam kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen. Instrumen yang digunakan meliputi tes pilihan ganda sebanyak 20 butir soal serta instrumen non-tes berupa lembar observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data meliputi uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, uji t sampel berpasangan , dan menggunakan uji t sampel independen . Hasil uji menunjukkan bahwa nilai signifikansi (Sig. 2-tailed) sebesar 0,032 < 0,05, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari penerapan model project based learning terhadap hasil belajar Pendidikan Pancasila materi Keragaman Budaya siswa kelas V SD Negeri 004 Samarinda Ulu.
