Abstract

The advent of Human Resource (HR) analytics has revolutionized the way organizations manage their workforce, enabling data-driven decision-making and strategic planning. This literature review aims to synthesize recent research on the role of HR analytics in enhancing organizational performance. By systematically analyzing studies published over the past decade, we identify key themes, methodologies, and findings that highlight the impact of HR analytics on various performance metrics. The review reveals that HR analytics contributes significantly to improving recruitment processes, employee retention, talent management, and overall organizational effectiveness. Moreover, the integration of advanced analytics tools and techniques, such as predictive modeling and machine learning, has been shown to provide deeper insights into employee behavior and organizational dynamics. Despite its benefits, the implementation of HR analytics faces several challenges, including data privacy concerns, the need for specialized skills, and resistance to change within organizations. This review concludes by discussing the implications for HR practitioners and offering recommendations for future research to address the existing gaps and further harness the potential of HR analytics in driving organizational success.

Abstract

Higher-order thinking skills (HOTS) are a student's abilities that include logical and reasoning abilities, analysis, evaluation, and creation. This study aims to identify the development of instruments for assessing higher-order thinking skills (HOTS) in Physics in high school. This review uses a qualitative approach by examining journals from 2016 to 2020. Based on the results of the analysis, show that one form of assessment developed is test questions with multiple choice, reasoned multiple choice, and description-type instruments. The test questions were developed to pay attention to HOTS, KKO indicators, physics, and stimulus problems, as well as Bloom's taxonomy. The materials that are widely developed are temperature and heat, harmonic vibrations, and static and dynamic fluids. The methods often used in this development research are the R&D method from Brog and Gall, the 4D method, the qualitative descriptive method, and the ADDIE method. The HOTS instrument is carried out through a feasibility test and analysis process, including through a validity test by a validator, reliability test, difficulty level test, differential power test, Rasch model analysis, analysis using Cronbach's Alpha formula, and question distractor test. The results of this study are an illustration of important points related to how to develop instruments for assessing higher-order thinking skills(HOTS) in Physics in high school

Abstract

Concrete is a brittle and fragile construction material so it needs to be increased in strength. This study aims to increase the strength of concrete by adding natural fibers of water hyacinth to the concrete mixture. Hyacinth fibers are cut by 3-5 cm and added with variations of 0%, 0.1%, 0.2%, 0.3%, 0.4% and 0.5% of the volume of concrete. Cylindrical specimens 15 cm in diameter and 30 cm in height were tested for compressive strength and tensile strength at the age of 28 days. The test results showed that the addition of hyacinth fiber up to 0.5% increased the compressive strength of concrete up to 17.6% and tensile strength up to 71.4% compared to normal concrete without fiber. The increase in strength is due to hyacinth fibers being able to withstand micro-cracks in concrete. The more fiber added, the more microcracks are able to be prevented thereby increasing the strength of concrete. In conclusion, the natural fiber of hyacinth effectively increases the strength of concrete both in compressive and tensile capacity.
