Abstract

The research is aimed to produce module development regarding environment change based on constructivism to improve critical and creative thinking skills, knowing the suitability and the effectiveness of the module which developed, also an interesting module in the learning process. The research is a research and development using the development procedure of ADDIE. The analysis is done to analyze module development needs; The design is product design of modules; The development is module development that is next measured its eligibility by material and media expert. The implementation is module applications as teaching material, and evaluation is the result of the evaluation showing that module regarding environment change based on constructivism to improve critical and creative thinking skills are proper to be used. The total of the subject of the research is 25 students as a trial class and 24 students as a control class. The data analysis is qualitative descriptive and quantitative. The instrument used in the research is a questionnaire to measure module eligibility, and question in the pretest and post-test are used to gain the data of students. The result of the research indicates; (1)the module development regarding environment change based on constructivism to improve critical and creative thinking skills is needed by the teacher in the learning.(2) the module which developed is proper to be tried in the learning process. (3) The module which developed is proven effective and interesting to be used in the learning and shows the difference between the result of learning with and without module (the result of independents sample test p=0,140<0,05).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas belajar literasi membaca, menulis dan minat belajar matematika. Bimbingan belajar yang dilakukan di Dusun Santan merupakan kegiatan yang di laksanakan untuk meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia sehingga anak peserta didik di Dusun Santan memahami cara membaca, menulis dan minat belajar matematika yang dilakukan di pendopo Dusun Santan. Dengan begitu kemampuan anak peserta didik di Dusun Santan akan semakin lancar dalam membaca, menulis dan minat dalam belajar matematika.Kata Kunci: Penguatan, literasi, santan

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze (1) the effect of coaching, counseling, and mentoring, together on teacher performance, (2) the effect of coaching on teacher performance, (3) the effect of counseling on the performance of  teacher, ( 4) the effect of mentoring on teacher performance. This type of research uses a quantitative approach method. The population of this study were Kindergarten, Primary School, Junior High School, and Senior High School teachers who took part in the 2nd batch of Teacher Mobilization Education in Kebumen Regency, totaling 147 people.     Data collection techniques using a questionnaire. Data collection techniques for major hypotheses using multiple linear regression analysis and minor hypotheses with partial correlation. The results of this study indicate that: (1) There is a positive and significant effect of coaching, counseling, and mentoring together on teacher performance, (2) There is a positive and significant influence of coaching on the performance of the teacher, (3) There is a positive and significant influence of counseling on the performance of the teacher, (4) There is a positive and significant influence of mentoring on teacher performance. Of the three independent variables that have a dominant influence on the performance of the teacher performance is coaching.

Abstract

Sel bahan bakar metanol atau Direct methanol fuel cell (DMFC)merupakan penyedia energi listrik yang berpotensi untukdikomersialkan. Membran Poli eter eter keton tersulfonasi (sPEEK)yang memiliki memiliki stabilitas kimia dan mekanik yang baik sertacrossover metanol yang rendah terus dikembangkan agar layakmenjadi membran untuk DMFC. Penyilangan sPEEK dengan kitosan(CS) dapat meningkatkan stabilitas dimensi membran. PengisiansPEEK-CS dengan silika yang dilapisi carbon nanotube (SCNTS)ditujukan untuk meningkatkan karakteristik membran. Penelitian inibertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh muatan SCNTS dengan variasi(0,3,6,9,12,15)% pada sPEEK-CS yang menggunakan rasio 80:20terhadap sifat water uptake, swelling degree dan kapasitas penukarion. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa sifat membran sPEEK-CS/SCNTSyang diuji dipengaruhi oleh banyaknya muatan SCNTS dalammembran dan memiliki karakter yang lebih baik sebagai membranDMFC.

Abstract

Glycerol, a byproduct of the transesterification reaction has a wide range of applications. Acetylation is a promising method for converting surplus glycerol into mono-, di-, and tri-acetin, which is used in the cosmetic, pharmaceutical, polymer, and fuel additive sectors. The kind of catalyst and reaction conditions influence glycerol conversion and acetylation selectivity. Acetylation of glycerol was performed in this study by reacting acetic acid and glycerol with a graphene oxide catalyst produced using the Hummers method. The amount of graphene oxide catalyst (3%, 5%, and 7%) in the reaction mixture was adjusted to see how it affected glycerol conversion and reaction product selectivity. Other variables such as the glycerol:acetic acid mole ratio of 1:9, reaction temperature of 120oC, stirring speed of 1000 rpm, and reaction time of 120 minutes were held constant. Glycerol conversion improves with increasing catalyst mass in the reaction mixture, with the highest conversion (92.1%) achieved when employing a 7% catalyst mass, with its selectivity to monoacetin, diacetin, and triacetin being 70.2%, 4.2%, and 25.6%, respectively.

Abstract

A series of fly ash-based heterogeneous acid catalysts were prepared by chemical and thermal treatment. Fly ash was chemically activated using sulfuric acid and followed by thermal activation. Characterization methods of XRD, BET, SEM-EDX, and the performance in esterification of eugenyl acetate production was carried out to reveal the physical and chemical characteristics of prepared catalysts. Activated catalyst showed high silica content (96.5%) and high BET surface area of 70 m2.g-1. The catalyst was proven to be highly active solid acid catalyst for liquid phase esterification of eugenol with acetic acid yielding eugenyl acetate. A yield of 43-48% was obtained with activated fly ash catalysts for 90 minutes reaction. These catalysts may replace beneficially the conventional homogenous liquid acid to the eco-friendly heterogeneous one.

Abstract

Even though platinum is known as an active electro-catalyst for ethanol oxidation at low temperatures (< 100 oC), choosing the electrode material for ethanol electro-oxidation is a crucial issue. It is due to its property which easily poisoned by a strong adsorbed species such as CO. PtSn-based electro-catalysts have been identified as better catalysts for ethanol electro-oxidation. The third material is supposed to improved binary catalysts performance. This work presents a study of the ethanol electro-oxidation on carbon supported Pt-Sn and Pt-Sn-Ni catalysts. These catalysts were prepared by alcohol reduction. Nano-particles with diameters between 2.5-5.0 nm were obtained. The peak of (220) crystalline face centred cubic (fcc) Pt phase for PtSn and PtSnNi alloys was repositioned due to the presence of Sn and/or Ni in the alloy. Furthermore, the modification of Pt with Sn and SnNi improved ethanol and CO electro-oxidation.

Abstract

Coal tar can be used as an alternative raw material for the production of liquid fuels, such as: gasoline and diesel through hydrogenation and cracking process. Hydrogenation and cracking process requires a catalyst which has metal components for hydrogenation reaction and acid components for cracking reaction. In this study, the Co/Zeolite Y and Co-Mo/Zeolite Y catalysts were prepared by impregnation and ion exchange methods. Characterizations of the catalysts were carried out by X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) and gravimetric acidity. The catalysts were tested for coal tar conversion to liquid fuel under various temperatures, amount of catalyst and hydrogen flow rates in a fixed bed flow reaction system. Liquid fuels products were analyzed by gas chromatography (GC). The XRD Spectra indicated that the addition of Co and Mo metals did not affect catalysts structure, however it alters the percentage of crystallinity. The addition of Co metal using impregnation method caused reduction in crystallinity, while the addition of Mo caused improvement of crystallinity. The Co-Mo/Zeolite Y catalyst with highest crystallinity was obtained by loading using ion exchange method. The addition of Co and Mo metals caused increasing acidity. However, the increasing composition of Co and Mo loaded on Zeolite Y catalyst decreased the yield of liquid fuels from coal tar. It can be concluded that the yields of liquid fuels and the composition of gasoline fractions from hydrocracking of coal tar were highly dependent on  acidity of the catalyst.

Abstract

Mitra dalam kegiatan Program Kemandiran Masyarakat adalah CV Bintang Jaya yang terletak di Jl. Nori 10B Ngepakan, Joho, Sukoharjo. Mitra adalah produsen instan kunyit dengan merek dagang SI PINTAR. Mitra memiliki satu keistimewaan yakni instan kunyit dengan 4 macam rasa. Produk memiliki manfaat, namun instan kunyit hasil produksi mitra belum cukup dikenal masyarakat. Proses produksi dilakukan dalam skala rumahan dimana mitra belum sepenuhnya menerapkan standar produksi berdasarkan kriteria Cara Produksi Pangan yang Baik – Industri Rumah Tangga Pangan (CPPB-IRTP). Masalah yang dihadapi mitra yaitu: 1) Alat produksi tidak higienis; dan 2) Belum mempunyai ijin PIRT. Solusi yang akan dilakukan dari kegiatan ini adalah: 1) intoduksi alat parut dan peras; 2) pengurusan perijinan P-IRT. Metode yang akan dilakukan untuk merealisasikan tujuan dari program pelaksanaan PKM yaitu melalui: 1) Pengadaan mesin parut dan peras yang terbuat dari stainless; 2) Pendampingan pengurusan perijinan P-IRT. Hasil yang diperoleh setelah kegiatan pengabdian terkait aspek produksi ialah adanya peningkatan pengetahuan pemilik dan karyawan tentang CPPB-IRTP dan perbaikan tempat produksi yang lebih bersih dan layak. Terkait aspek produksi, terdapat peningkatan jumlah produksi dan perolehan ijin P-IRT dari Dinas Kesehatan.

Abstract

Preparasi katalis adalah persiapan pembuatan katalis dari bahan baku hingga menjadi sebuah katalis. Metode pertukaran ion di kenal juga dengan metode adsorpsi pada larutan. Prinsip kerja dari metode ini adalah menukarkan ion yang terdapat pada situs aktif pengemban dengan katalis logam. logam yang diembankan pada padatan harus mempunyai kriteria yang terdiri dari stabilitas pengemban, sifat inert pengemban, biaya, legalitas terhadap hak paten. Katalis kobalt dan molybednum merupakan katalis aktif yang sering digunakan untuk reaksi hidrogenasi. Katalis CoMo zeolit Y dibuat dengan metode pertukaran ion yang dilanjutkan dengan proses kalsinasi selama 3 jam dengan suhu 550˚C. Karakterisasi katalis meliputi penentuan kristalinitas dengan XRD, penentuan jumlah situs asam dengan analisa piridin, serta penentuan struktur dan jenis ikatan kimia dengan FTIR. Hasil dari perengkahan Hasil karakterisasi analisa XRD menunjukkan bahwa Co dan Mo sudah teremban ke dalam zeolit Y sebesar 19,0867˚, 12,2274˚, 20,7809˚. Analisa FTIR menunjukkan pergeseran puncak serapan antara zeolit Y dan CoMo zeolit Y. Analisa piridin menujukkan bahwa semakin banyak logam yang teremban semakin meningkat keasamannya dan semakin tinggi keasaman semakin meningkat konversi produk.
