Abstract

This study aims to analyze the use of social media for online campaigns in village head elections (pilkades) and the chances of candidates being elected. Social media, which used to be only a means of entertainment, is now being looked at by politicians as a new space to gain voter support in elections (including the presidential election and local head elections). However, studies for the Pilkades have not been carried out. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach in the 2020 Padangan Village Pilkades, Padangan District, Bojonegoro Regency. The data used are primary data obtained through in-depth interviews with 12 informants who were selected purposively and through observation, as well as secondary data from pilkades documents. Analysis of the data using the Miles and Huberman analysis model. The results of the study show that social media can be a great opportunity to support village head candidates in gaining popularity and winning in the village head election if a village head candidate can use social media for online campaigns appropriately. Factors that influence the successful use of social media in online campaigns for village head candidates include: First, who is involved in the online campaign. The second is the type of social media. Third, the campaign content presented.

Abstract

Nilai tukar mata uang suatu negara merupakan indikator utama kesehatan ekonominya. Nilai tukarmata uang yang lebih tinggi mengindikasikan ekonomi yang lebih kuat dibandingkan dengan negaralain. Penelitian ini, yang bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Inflasi, BI rate, dan jumlah uangberedar terhadap nilai tukar Rupiah di Indonesia, dilakukan dengan sangat teliti. Penelitian ini bersifateksplanatori dan menggunakan data runtun waktu dari tahun 2017 hingga 2021 yang bersumber dariBPS dan Bank Indonesia. Data tersebut kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode Vector ErrorCorrection Model (VECM). Hasil VECM jangka panjang menunjukkan bahwa Inflasi berpengaruhpositif dan tidak signifikan terhadap Nilai Tukar Rupiah. Sebaliknya, variabel BI rate dan JUBberpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap Nilai Tukar Rupiah. Hasil estimasi VECM jangka pendekmenunjukkan bahwa Inflasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Nilai Tukar Rupiah,sedangkan BI rate berpengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan. Sebaliknya, variabel JUB berpengaruhpositif dan tidak signifikan terhadap Nilai Tukar Rupiah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis Gerakan Politik Jaringan Kotak Kosong (JKK) dalam Pemilihan Umum Kepala Daerah Kota Balikpapan Tahun 2020 dengan menggunakan teori Gerakan Sosial dari Doug McAdam & Sidney Tarrow melalui pendekatan political opportunities, resource mobilization, dan framing processes. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan jenis penelitian lapangan, dan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa JKK berusaha memaksimalkan 3 (tiga) indikator tersebut untuk memengaruhi persepsi masyarakat terhadap kotak kosong sebagai pilihan politik alternatif yang bermakna dan efektif. JKK dianggap sebagai bentuk protes dan perlawanan dari masyarakat untuk menghukum partai dan para elite politik yang mendukung calon tunggal. Gerakan ini memiliki tujuan yang bervariatif, salah satunya adalah untuk memengaruhi masyarakat agar dapat ikut berpartisipasi dan memilih kotak kosong. Temuan ini memberikan pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang dinamika politik lokal dan peran gerakan kotak kosong dalam memengaruhi sistem politik di Indonesia

Abstract

Studi ini bertujuan untuk melihat subsistensi atau bagaiamana cara bertahan hidup pekerja seks komersial selama pandemi dan paska pandemi covid-19 yang terjadi beberapa tahun lalu. Dengan menggunakan metode etnografi, studi ini merekam secara dekat kehidupan pekerja seks komersial selama satu tahun dalam masa pandemi. Data utama diperoleh melalui wawancara kepada beberapa pekerja seks komersial, pemilik usaha indekos, dan masyarakat setempat didukung dengan observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan jika pekerja seks komersial bertahan hidup selama pandemi dengan tiga cara: berhemat; mencari pekerjaan lain; dan memanfaatkan relasi sosial. Dua cara terakhir menjadi metoda bertahan hidup yang paling dominan dan masih dilakukan dalam fase krisis setelah pandemi.

Abstract

The research aims to conduct an empirical study analysis of school culture, Servant Leadership and job satisfaction on their influence on teacher performance. Survey research of 89 elementary school teachers in Sungai Mas District, West Aceh Regency. The research was carried out descriptively associative, with problem analysis using a statistical multiple regression analysis approach. Descriptive research results show: (1) teachers' perceptions of the condition of school culture that they feel and implement are good with an achievement level of 87.34%.  Also, the principal's Servant Leadership factor is generally good, and the teacher's job satisfaction achievement level is 86.49%. (2) school culture, Servant Leadership and job satisfaction provide a positive influence in improving teacher performance, with their respective influence values ​​through the regression model: Y = 29.291 + 0.466 X1 + 0.274 X2 + 0.379 X3.  (3) it is proven that school culture factors, the principal's servant leadership and job satisfaction together make a significant contribution to teacher performance, with an amount of 74.2%.

Abstract

Tuberkulosis adalah suatu penyakit menular yang disebabkan oleh bakteri Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Salah satu terapi yang diberikan kepada pasien tuberkulosis adalah pemberian OAT (Obat Anti Tuberkulosis). Pemeriksaan tes fungsi hati dianjurkan untuk dilakukan sebelum dan saat pemantauan pengobatan TBC. Peningkatan kreatinin, asam urat dan ureum merupakan beberapa krieria pasien tuberkulosis paru mengalami cedera ginjal akibat penggunaan OAT. Keadaan serum yang pekat ini dapat mempengaruhi kualitas hasil pemeriksaan laboratorium. Menurut Hukum Lambert Beer nilai absorbansi berbanding lurus dengan konsentrasi zat. Hal ini tidak berlaku pada larutan pekat, akibatnya kadar yang dihasilkan tidak akurat. Hasil yang tidak akurat dapat merugikan pasien karena menyebabkan kesalahan diagnosis, pengobatan dan pemantauan penyakit. Salah satu penanganan serum pekat adalah dengan perlakuan pengenceran. Pengencenan dilakukan dengan penambahan NaCL fisiologis perbandingan dengan harapan dapat mememperkecil tingkat kesalahan selama pengukuran sampel. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil tes fungsi ginjal pada serum pasien tuberkulosis dengan dan tanpa pengenceran. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Pre-experimental Design dengan desain penelitian One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Sampel  penelitian adalah serum pasien tuberkulosis dengan kadar kreatinin >1,3 mg/dL, kadar ureum >7 mg/dL dan kadar asam urat  >7 mg/dL. Hasil uji dianalisis deskriptif dan statistik menggunanakan uji beda Wilcoxon dengan taraf signifikan 5% untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya perbedaan hasil pemeriksaan. Hasil pemeriksaan tes fungsi ginjal yang diuji dengan uji beda Wilcoxon menunjukkan signifikan sebesar 0,000(<0,05) yang berarti ada perbedaan hasil pemeriksaan tes fungsi ginjal pada serum pasien tuberkulosis dengan dan tanpa pengenceran

Abstract

Introduction: The 2024 Indonesian presidential election will see significant Generation Z participation, yet unverified political information may affect their understanding. The documentary ‘Dirty Vote’ has the potential to enhance political knowledge and influence voting decisions, particularly regarding election fraud--a key concern for Generation Z voters who are active digitally but vulnerable to misinformation. Using the Elaboration Likelihood Model (ELM), this study examines how the documentary influences political knowledge, mediates voting decisions, and affects political engagement. The research evaluates whether ‘Dirty Vote’ can effectively enhance political understanding and shape voting choices among Generation Z. Methods: This explanatory quantitative study targets viewers of the ‘Dirty Vote’ documentary on social media. A sample of 384 participants was determined using the Lemeshow formula and non-probability purposive sampling. Data were collected via Google Forms and analyzed using Generalized Structured Component Analysis (GSCA). The ELM theory guided the analysis. Findings: The study found that ‘Dirty Vote’ significantly enhances political knowledge and influences voting decisions among Generation Z. Political knowledge acted as a mediator, strengthening the documentary's impact. The credibility of the documentary’s source also played a key role in how the information was received. These findings suggest that documentaries can be an effective tool for political education, particularly for young voters. Originality: This study provides new insights into the role of documentaries in political education for Generation Z in Semarang, using ELM theory and GSCA to explore media’s impact on political knowledge and behavior.

Abstract

Good governance plays a crucial role in influencing economic growth in a region, which subsequently contributes to poverty reduction. However, high poverty levels and uneven economic growth can negatively impact local communities. This study examines the effects of transparency, accountability, participation, and equity on poverty alleviation in West Aceh Regency. A mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative and qualitative techniques with a triangulation design, was employed. The study involved 379 respondents who were major recipients of social assistance from three sub-districts: Kaway XVI, Samatiga, and Woyla. Data were collected through questionnaires, and additional insights were obtained from three government officials involved in poverty alleviation efforts at BAPEDDA West Aceh Regency. Data analysis utilized multiple linear regression with SPSS 22. The findings indicate that transparency significantly and positively influences poverty alleviation by ensuring that aid distribution is targeted and effectively managed. Accountability also has a significant positive effect, as it integrates community involvement from planning to program evaluation. Participation contributes positively by aligning programs with local needs and enhancing implementation success. Lastly, equity positively impacts poverty alleviation by promoting fair resource distribution, enabling programs to effectively reach all societal levels, including vulnerable groups.

Abstract

This research aims to find out and analyze the presentation of LAZISMU Bangkalan's financial reports from the perspective of PSAK 109, namely regarding accounting for zakat and infaq/alms. PSAK 109 is an accounting standard that regulates financial reporting for entities managing zakat, infaq and alms. The analytical method used is a qualitative approach using a qualitative descriptive approach. The data used in this research comes from primary and secondary data from interviews with sources from LAZISMU Bangkalan and documentation of LAZISMU Bangkalan's financial reports. The results of the research show that in the financial reports LAZISMU Bangkalan has presented financial reports in accordance with the recording of PSAK 109. However, in its presentation in the financial reports LAZISMU Bangkalan has not fulfilled the five components, namely it is still not optimal in recording reports on changes in assets under management and notes on financial reports ( CALK).

Abstract

This study explores the impact of a leader's characteristics, particularly idiosyncratic personality traits. A prominent case study involves Mayor Hendrar Prihadi of Semarang, Indonesia, whose unique and powerful influence has significantly shaped the success of cooperation between Indonesia and Japan in the city. This study uses qualitative descriptive research. This paper relies on primary data sources, in the form of interviews with key informants and secondary data, in the form of documentation studies from relevant sources. The study reveals that city diplomacy, as observed in Semarang, is strongly associated with the Mayor's personality, level of sensitivity in responding to global issues, the influence of Javanese cultural and religious values, personal and organizational principles, and motives aimed at providing benefits to the city, particularly in the effort to create a zero-carbon urban environment. These findings underscore the link between a leader's characteristics and the decision-making process in the realm of city diplomacy, emphasizing the multifaceted nature of personality elements that guide policy choices.
