Abstract

There are many applications of graphs in various fields. Starting from chemical problems, such as the molecular shape of a compound to internet network problems, we can also use graphs to depict the abstract concept of a mathematical structure.. Groups in Algebra can be represented as a graph. This is interesting because Groups are abstract objects in mathematics. The graph of a group shows the physical form of the group by looking at the relationship between its elements. So, we can know the distance of the elements. In 2013, Abawajy et al. conducted studies related to power graphs. Power graph representation of groups of integers modulo with the order of prime numbers has been carried out in 2022 by Syechah, et al. In this article, the author provides the properties of a power graph on a group of integers modulo with the order of powers of prime numbers.

Abstract

Graph theory offers a robust framework for examining algebraic structures, especially rings and their elements. This paper focuses on the nilpotent graph of rings of the form Zpk, where p is a prime and k∈N, investigating both their structural and numerical properties. We begin by characterizing the nilpotent elements in these rings and examining their relationship to ring ideals. The study then presents theoretical results on key graph invariants, including connectivity, chromatic number, clique number, and specific subgraph configurations. To complement these, we also analyze numerical invariants such as edge count and degree distribution, which reveal deeper connections between ring-theoretic and graph-theoretic properties. Our results highlight consistent structural patterns in nilpotent graphs of Zpk and provide a concrete contribution to algebraic graph theory by bridging properties of commutative rings and their associated graphs.

Abstract

This community service program was carried out with the primary objective of enhancing the professional competence of mathematics teachers at the Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) level in Mataram City, particularly in the teaching of geometry. Recognizing the importance of mastering digital technology in modern mathematics learning, the program focused on the introduction and application of GeoGebra as an interactive medium for teaching geometry concepts. The activities were conducted at the Basic Computer Laboratory of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Mataram, involving 18 MTs mathematics teachers. The program consisted of introducing fundamental concepts of geometry, hands-on training on the technical use of GeoGebra, and an evaluation of learning outcomes through pre-tests and post-tests. The evaluation results indicated an improvement in participants’ scores, demonstrating the effectiveness of the training. The teachers’ enthusiasm was evident from their active participation in discussions, asking questions, and exploring GeoGebra’s features during the training. The pre-test results showed that participants scored between 7 and 20, with an average of 13.56. Following the post-test, scores improved significantly, ranging from 20 to 28 with an average of 24.89. This confirms that all teachers, without exception, experienced an increase in scores. The positive impact of this program is expected to contribute to improving the quality of mathematics teaching at the MTs level.

Abstract

The implementation of Hospital Bylaws has different patterns and character, depending on the background and underlying factors. This study was aimed to examine the factors that influence the implementation of hospital bylaws in Indonesia. The research design used in this article was scoping studies. This research used article data obtained through a systematic search through two methods, namely systematic database search and systematic manual search. From the entire article that has been reviewed, it was found that the implementation of hospital bylaws was based on 4 factors, namely the owner, director, medical staff, and juridical. Factors that affected the implementation of hospital bylaws from the owner dimension are knowledge, awareness, and supervision about the implementation of hospital bylaws. Factors that affected the implementation of hospital bylaws from the Director Dimension were in the form of supervision and management of medical staff on the implementation of hospital bylaws. Factors that affected the implementation of hospital bylaws of the medical staff dimension was in the form of patient safety. The last factor that influences the implementation of hospital bylaws is the regulation on hospital bylaws, namely the Permenkes No: 75/MENKES/PER/IV/2011 which regulates hospital bylaws.

Abstract

In some cases in applied mathematics, the continuous function is not used, but rather the weaker function, i.e. lower semi-continuous function from above. One of the basic properties of the function that needs to be known is the existence of the infimum value of the function image. In the case of a continuous function, the existence of infimum is assured by several assumptions, one of which is the function domain which is a closed set and the function is a bounded function. In this paper, we describe the properties that ensure the existence of infimum of the image of a lower semi-continuous function from above. Based on the results, it is found that the existence of infimum of the image of a lower semi-continuous function from above is assured in the domain which is a compact set and also assured if the function is a convex function.

Abstract

Prime submodule is the abstraction to module theory of prime ideal in ring theory.  A proper submodule N of an R-module M is called prime submodule if for all r in R and m in M such that rm in N implies r in (N:M) or m in N.  Prime submodule also generalized into weakly prime submodule and almost prime submodule.  This study deal with particular cases of both of them in Z-module M_2x2(Z_9), the three submodules are equivalent in case of non-zero submodule.

Abstract

The complexity of today's healthcare system challenges hospitals to provide safe, patient-oriented, and cost-effective services. Leadership style in an organization is one factor that plays an essential role in increasing or slowing down the interest and commitment of individuals in the organization. The transformational leadership style emphasizes moral principles, cooperation, and community together united in the privilege of human ethics. Job satisfaction of nurses is expected to improve their performance to create full service to patients. This literature review aims to determine the effect of transformational leadership style on job satisfaction and performance of hospital nurses.  The method in this study is a literature review by searching for articles through the Ebscohost, Science direct, and Proquest electronic databases published from 2016-2021 and meeting the inclusion criteria. The review process uses the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines. Results: The results of this review obtained nine articles showing that the transformational leadership style has a positive influence on job satisfaction. Five reports show that leadership positively affects nurse performance in hospitals. Transformational leadership style influences job satisfaction and nurse performance in hospitals. Transformational leadership has more influence on nurse performance than transactional leadership in public hospitals. Nurses' job satisfaction is influenced by opportunity, structural empowerment, job attachment, work environment, and stress. At the same time, nurse performance is influenced by organizational commitment, employee empowerment, workload, motivation, stress, psychological safety, work attachment, and work environment.
