Abstract

In this study, human face detection have been widely conducted and it is still interesting to be research. In this research, strong impact of color space for face i.e., many and multi faces detection by using YIQ, YCbCr, HSV, HSL, CIELAB, and CIELUV are proposed. In this experiment, intensity normality method in one of the color space channel and tested the faces using Android based have been developed. The faces multi image datasets came from social media, mobile phone and digital camera. In this experiment, the color space YCbCr percentage value with the image initial value detection before processing are 67.15%, 75.00%, and 64.58% have been reached. Then, after the normalization process are 83.21%, 87.12%, and 80.21% have been increased. Furthermore, this study showed that color space of YCbCr have reached improvement percentage

Abstract

Fusarium caused wilt disease in chilli pepper and destroyed some farmer crops. Results ofpreliminary research has been discovered that the disease caused by Fusarium oxysporum f.sp. capsici.The alternative environmental friendly method is to find antagonist microbes which is located in therhizosphere of healthy pepper plants. This study aims to find out potentially antagonistic fungi tocontrol Fusarium wilt disease on pepper plants. The fungi were isolated by soil dilution method orviable plate count method on Potato Dextrose Agar medium with antibiotic Livoplaxacin (25%, w/v).Rhizosphere fungi from healthy pepper plants had been identified. A total of 63 spesies belong to 4genera included Penicillium (45 species), Aspergillus (6 species), Trichoderma (9 species) andCandida (3 species). The highest percentage of distribution of rhizosphere fungi are P. digitatum(47.63%), P. expansum (19,05%), T. harzianum (9,53%), A. nidulans, A. niger, Penicillium sp.,Candida albicans, and T. vitrens i.e 4,76% respectively. All of rhizosphere fungi colonies were foundto inhibit Fusarium oxysporum f.sp. capsici in vitro. The best inhibition was found in Aspergillusniger at 88.89 ± 2.2% followed by A. nidulans of 85,56 ± 1,6 %, T. harzianum at 84,45 ± 1,58% , andT. virens by 83,33 ± 1,2%, five days after inoculation. All of them have a very high inhibition criteria.

Abstract

Gringsing is one of the traditional fabrics that are characteristic of the Tenganan Pegringsingan Village. Gringsing is quite unique because in its manufacture it uses double-ikat techniques, where this technique can only be found in three places in the world, such as Japan, India, and Tenganan Pegringsingan Village. In 2016 Gringsing was certified by the Ministry of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia as a Geographical Indication. This study aims to building a deep learning model to recognize Gringsing motifs and know the performance of the model, so that people can more easily recognize Gringsing motives without having special abilities. The model was built using the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) method with the AlexNet architectural model. Tests are conducted to determine the performance of the model such as training time, accuracy, precision, recall, and f-measure value. Based on the test results the model built was able to complete 100 epoch training with a time of 19,33 hours, and has an accuracy value of 76%, 74.1% of precision, 72.3% of recall, and 0.73 of F-measure.

Abstract

In Indonesia, the number of people who dead from suffered kidney disease has increasing. It’shappens because many people has less knowledge about the early symptoms of this disease. Kidney is one of the important organ in human body, which’s it performs to filtrating excess salt, water, and acid. Information technology utilization could be a great solution for this case. Build an expert system application based on instant messenger for early diagnose check of kidney disease is expect to do the initial diagnose process to be faster and could engage more people who curious about this disease. The system method that was used in this research is forward chaining method who based on multiplatforms using Telegram instant messanger application. This application could solves the problem which is it application can displaying the diagnosis result quickly and accurately based on the symptoms that will be asked by the system. In black box testing, this application has functions that have been successful. And based on the results of usabilty scale system testing (SUS), obtained ascore of 78 which means this application can run well on Telegram Messaging.

Abstract

Abstract— The difficulty of determining the right keywords to get the right image is the disadvantages of image search methods based on metadata keywords. Current technology developments lead to content-based image retrieval (CBIR). One feature of image content used for image retrieval is the color feature. To improve CBIR performance, this study investigated the comparison between SOM and Fuzzy C-Means segmentation methods. This segmentation method separates the foreground and background of the query image to get better CBIR performance. This study used Wang Dataset image database. Testing is done with test images that have undergone scale, rotation and blurring. The results of the test show that the segmentation method improves the recall value or the true image that has been found, but significantly reduces the precision value or the true image ratios of the overall images found compared without using segmentation method.

Abstract

Remuneration is a work benefit in the form of salary, honorarium, fixed allowances, incentives, bonuses for achievement, severance pay, and / pension funds. Remuneration will eliminate the assumption that there is no positive correlation between performance and income. This means that employees / employees who are performing well will have unequal income. The government has tried to change the payroll system to be better through the remuneration system. Remuneration consists of basic salary plus benefits derived from pure rupiah and other benefits originating from Non-Tax State Revenues. Problem with remuneration is that the validation carried out by the direct supervisor of the employee concerned is still doubtful. Based on this, we need a system that can detect outlier data from civil servant remuneration data and classify the data using data mining techniques. This research aims to classify data on civil servant remuneration using the k-means clustering method with improvisation at the pre-processing stage and determining the optimum number of clusters. Local Outlier Factor method with a MinPts value of 150 can detect the most outlier data with 162 data outliers detected or 22,98%. Number of optimum clusters by the elbow method is 4 clusters with a Silhoutte value of 0,542 and Dunn of 0,040. Keywords — Clustering, K-Means, LOF, Outlier

Abstract

Teknologi merupakan salah satu aspek yang tidak bisa dipisahkan, karena dengan adanya teknologi mempermudah komunikasi. Dunia industri pariwisata tidak bisa lepas dari peran teknologi. Dari penelitian ini diharapkan wisatawan baik lokal maupun mancanegara memberikan persepsinya terhadap efektivitas e-Kios sehingga ke depan dapat menjadi sumber informasi yang handal tentang pariwisata Bali.        Alat ukur yang digunakan dalam  dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan skala likert dari rensis  guna mendapatkan pesepsi total dari efektivitas e-Kios pariwisata Bali. Dalam penelitian didapat adanya suatu fakta bahwa e-Kios pariwisata Bali belum mencapai hasil maksimal dengan kata lain kurang efektif dikarenakan belum secara murni online sehingga informasi e-Kios tidak up-date. Meskipun demikian e-Kios mendapat respon positif karena menambah pencitraan Bali sebagai destinasi favorit. Seperti halnya informasi spiritual dan sosial budaya Bali tetap menjadi informasi yang paling dibutuhkan wisatawan. Harapan kedepan informasi e-Kios lebih dimaksimalkan termasuk segi brainware, hardware dan software.

Abstract

A major problem in the soil microbiology is 99% soil microbes could not be grown in artificial media; therefore, to describe the true diversity of microbes in the soil must use a molecular approach. The approach was polymerase chain reaction-ribosomal intergenic spacer analysis (PCR-RISA). This method can be used for determining soil microbial DNA profile (the number of DNA bands). The soil samples were collected from three regencies in Bali,  i.e. Karangasem, Klungkung and Jembrana which are the main banana growing area in Bali. Soil sampling was done in two sites in each regency representing the banana habitat with and without Fusarium wilt symptom, by collecting 100 grams of soil surrounding the banana plant at the depth of 20 cm. The result of PCR-RISA showed that DNA profile of the soil microbes in the soil of banana habitat without Fusarium wilt symptom (HN) more than of the soil banana habitat with Fusarium wilt symptom (HF). DNA profiles at HN there were three, each of the indicated 450 bp, 250 bp and <100 bp, whereas in HF were two bands of DNA, each indicated as 250 bp and <100 bp. Based on the number of DNA bands proved that the soil microbial community in the HN is higher than in HF.

Abstract

The sustainability of watershed ecosystem functions in managing the water system can be achieved if the utilization pattern of their territories in accordance with the rules of conservation. A decrease in quantity and quality of the river water can be an indicator that condition of the watershed have been damaged. The destruction of the watershed ecosystem as a result of various causes will be able to threaten supply of sustainable water resources. The aim of this research is to determine and analyze the perceptions and behavior of upstream communities and governments about the function and role of water conservation and watershed in their behavior in the preservation of the watershed and its relationship with the current condition of the Ayung river. The study was conducted in the area upstream of Ayung river, which is in the Belok Sidan and Plaga Village, Petang, Badung, stake holder water users Ayung River such as PDAM, AMDK, rafting and farmers, as well as the government of Badung Regency that responsible for the management and conservation of Ayung River. Results of the study found that the public perception of the functions and benefits of watershed in the conservation of water resources classified in the category of high, but was followed by actions or attitudes in the medium category. There was no real relationship between perception and action, but the action affect current watershed conditions. The role and participation of stakeholders Ayung River water users were still relatively low in the preservation of the watershed, while the government's role classified as medium has not been done in an integrated among sectors and regions. From the results of this study it is recommended that the preservation of the Ayung river through various conservation action were integrated by involving communities upstream more active through the empowerment of local knowledge and improve their welfare. Government plays an important role in moving towards unity of this act.

Abstract

The research was conducted at Badung Regency from May  to  August  2012. BadungRegency determined as the  study  sites intentionally  (purposive  sampling)  withconsideration  Badung Regency is utilizing the highest Ayung river water for irrigation thananother regencies/city in Bali. Water pricing were  analyzed by the Value Marginal Product(VMP) which derived from equation of the Cobb- Douglas production function.  The analysisshowed that the size of area plantation, seed, fertilizer, pesticide, labor and water (irrigation)have real impact on rice production and by using the VMP analysis found that the price ofwater for irrigation is Rp 314.000/ha/season. The price paid is higher than the water fee forSubak, that is Rp 100,000/ha/season for active members and two-time for inactive members.Even the results of the calculations show that the maximum water price paid by farmers isgreater than subak fees, the government can not impose the maximum water pricing approachto the farmers. It is based on the consideration that the agricultural sector is still the sectorthat needs to be subsidized because it involves the interests of a political, economic, social,cultural and religious.
