Abstract

The study discusses the crucial role of training evaluation for State Civil Apparatus (Aparatur Sipil Negara or ASN) and how the shift to distance learning methods, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic, has impacted training effectiveness. The evaluation aims to measure the impact of training on participants’ knowledge, skills, and attitudes, as well as its effects on the organizations. The results of the evaluation indicate that distance learning is preferred by alumni due to its flexibility, but there is a need for higher-quality facilitators in delivering content via information technology. Despite the remote nature of training, participants still achieve their intended competencies. The evaluation also assesses the impact of training on participants’ behavior and workplace performance. Notably, National Leadership Training Level I and II have a more positive influence on sustainability and work performance when using blended learning, while Administrator Leadership Training, Supervisory Leadership Training, and the Pre-Service Training Program show a stronger impact on sustainability and work performance with distance learning. The findings emphasize the significance of the chosen learning method in shaping training outcomes. This information is valuable for refining training policies to meet the evolving demands of the bureaucracy.

Abstract

This study aimed to test the effectiveness of using Kahoot as a learning media to improve students' learning outcomes in the Marketing Management course. The research was conducted on students of the Program Studi Manajemen, Fakultas Ekonomi, Universitas Islam Indragiri. The research method used was a Quasi Experimental Design with a pretest-posttest control group design. The research sample consisted of 100 students divided into two groups, namely the control group and the experimental group. The results of the study showed a significant difference in students' learning outcomes between the group that used Kahoot as a learning media and the group that used conventional learning methods. The t-test results showed a significant improvement in students' learning outcomes in the experimental group, with a mean posttest score of 84.07 compared to the control group, which only achieved a mean posttest score of 73.83. This indicates that the use of Kahoot as a learning media can improve students' learning outcomes in the Financial Management course. Based on the research results, it is concluded that Kahoot can be used as an effective learning media to improve students' learning outcomes in the Financial Management course. As a suggestion, the use of Kahoot as a learning media can be applied to other courses as an alternative to improve the quality of learning in higher education. Additionally, further research can be conducted involving a larger sample size and more complex research design to test the effectiveness of Kahoot in using learning media at a higher level.

Abstract

Program BNPT di Keluraha Jayawaras baru di adakan pada tahun 2018 yang dimana terdapat 230 Keluarga Penerima Manfaat (KPM) dari 14 Rukun Warga (RW) yang diharapkan dapat membantu dalam pengentasan kemiskinan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Deskiptif Kualitatif dengan teknik wawancara dengan beberapa narasumber yang diperlukan sehingga mendapatkan data yang akurat mengenai seluruh permasalahan yang penulis temukan dalam kebijakan BPNT dalam upaya pengentasan kemiskinan di Kelurahan Jayawaras Kecamatan Tarogong Kidul. Hasil Penelitian tentang Kebijakan BPNT di Kelurahan Jayawaras dapat dikatakan berhasil karena dapat mengurangi beban kebutuhan sehari-harinya dimana KPM mendapatkan asupan gizi yang baik untuk keluarganya. Selain itu pengelolaan agen e-Warong di Kelurahan Jayawaras pun sangat baik dikarenakan kordinasi dengan Kelurahan dan Bank penyalur selalu di lakukan. Oleh karena itu pengelolaan Agen E-Warong di Kelurahan Jayawaras selalu di jadikan sampel untuk pemeriksaan Dinas Sosial dan juga dijadikan sebagai contoh oleh kelurahan/ desa yang lain karena pengelolaan nya yang baik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dengan fenomena berkembangnya jual beli online dengan sistem pre order. Jual beli online pre order adalah sistem pembelian barang dengan cara memesan dan membayar terlebih dahulu diawal, tengah atau akhir dengan masa tunggu waktu estimasi dan penyerahan barang dilakukan dikemudian hari. Jual beli pre order dalam fiqh muamalah menggunakan akad as-salam. Transaksi pre order dilakukan salah satu pihak yang siap menyerahkan barang kepada pihak lain pada waktu tertentu, dimana terkadang objek barang masih berada di supplier. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah: (1) Bagaimana proses transaksi jual beli online dengan sistem pre order di Izza Shop? (2) Bagaimana proses transaksi jual beli online dengan sistem pre order di Izza Shop menurut fiqh muamalah? Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus lapangan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisa pada penelitian ini analisa deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan penalaran induktif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa proses pemesanan yang dilakukan secara online melalui media sosial, seperti facebook, instagram dan whatsapp. Pembeli dapat memilih barang yang akan dipesan melalui postingan yang ada di sosial media Izza Shop. Proses akad jual beli dilakukan melalui chat pribadi antara penjual dan pembeli melakukan kesepakatan bersama terkait dengan transaksi jual beli online, mulai dari sistem pembayaran, penyerahan barang dan kesepakatan lain. Transaksi jual beli beli online sistem pre order pada Izza Shop, menggunakan dua jenis akad yaiu akad as-salam dan istishna. Akad as-salam pembayarannya dilakukan diawal akad secara penuh, sedangkan jika akad istishna pembayarannya dilakukan secara cicilan atau tangguhan sesuai dengan kesepakatan Bersama. Sistem pembayaran pada Izza Shop sudah sesuai dengan fiqh muamalah dalam akad ba’i as-salam dan istishna, karena sistem pembayaran pada Izza Shop ini dapat dikatakan fleksibel sesuai dengan keadaannya. Dalam hal kepuasan pelanggan, Izza Shop menerapkan hak khiyar kepada pelanggan yang merasa kurang puas dengan barang yang diterima, apabila ketidakpuasan pelanggan disebabkan karena kelalaian dari pihak Izza Shop. Hal ini sudah sesuai jika ditinjau dari fiqh muamalah.

Abstract

The problem of traffic accidents and the consequences of these accidents has become a social problem today. The Security and Safety Unit of the Makassar Police Traffic Unit in this case as a Government Organization in charge of securing and regulating traffic uses Public Service Announcements to reduce the number of traffic accidents, especially in Makassar City. The purpose of this research is to find out the role of persuasive communication and the supporting factors and inhibiting factors experienced by the Security and Safety Unit of the Makassar Police Traffic Unit in reducing traffic accidents. The research method used is qualitative research with a descriptive approach consisting of observation, interview and observation. The results showed that the Makassar Police had applied persuasive communication principles well such as Reciprocity, Commitment and Consistency, Social Proof, Authority and Liking. The Liking principle still needs to be improved and the Scarcity principle is not used because it is considered not in accordance with the objectives of persuasive communication carried out by the Makassar Police. Supporting factors that can reduce traffic accidents are people who obey traffic rules, orderly, operation of billboard installation locations in accident-prone or strategic areas, attractive banner designs, posts on social media for millennials and attractive billboard designs and COVID-19 cases. Inhibiting factors in reducing traffic accidents such as motorists who are not careful, the small size of billboards so that they are not visible to motorists, lack of public awareness of traffic signs, road and weather factors.

Abstract

Latar belakang permasalahan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat adalah pentingnya pemberdayaan guru dalam pendidikan Kesehatan Mental (Kesmen) di Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD) Harapan Kita, Desa Pasir Durung. Seringnya pemadaman listrik yang tidak stabil mengakibatkan kesulitan akses internet sehingga informasi mengenai kesehatan mental sulit diperoleh oleh para guru PAUD. Tujuan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (Pengmas) melalui pelatihan Kesmen bagi guru dapat meningkatkan kompetensi dalam menangani masalah Kesmen yang tujuan ahhirnya guru menjadi sehat dan terampil. Ahinya tercipta lingkungan belajar dalam mendukung perkembangan emosional dan psikologis guru dan anak. Metode penelitian adalah melaksanakan pelatihan Kesmen dengan Lokus di PAUD Harapan Kita. Pelatihan dalam kegiatan Pengmas bertujuan memperkuat Kesmen dalam pencegahan dan pengembangan pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan berhasil membentuk kelompok guru yang peduli terhadap kesehatan mental. Para guru menjadi lebih aktif dalam meningkatkan kesadaran akan pentingnya kesehatan mental di PAUD Harapan Kita. Selain, berhasil melaksanakan penyuluhan pendidikan kepada orang tua dan Masyarakat Masyarakat sekitar, baik secara individu maupun kelompok. The background to the Community Service problem is the importance of empowering teachers in Mental Health education (Kesmen) in Harapan Kita Early Childhood Education (PAUD), Pasir Durung Village. Frequent unstable power outages result in difficulty accessing the internet, making it difficult for PAUD teachers to obtain information about mental health. The aim of Community Service (Penmas) through Mensmen training for teachers is to increase competence in dealing with Mensmen's problems, the ultimate goal of which is to make teachers healthy and skilled. Ultimately, a learning environment is created to support the emotional and psychological development of teachers and children. The research method is to carry out Ministry of Health training with a Locus at PAUD Harapan Kita. Training in Community Service activities aims to strengthen Kesmen in prevention and learning development. The research results show that the training was successful in forming a group of teachers who care about mental health. Teachers have become more active in raising awareness of the importance of mental health at PAUD Harapan Kita. Apart from that, we have successfully carried out educational outreach to parents and the surrounding community, both individually and in groups.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze defense spending trends and their impact on the self-sufficiency of the defense industry in Indonesia. The article adopts a qualitative approach based on document analysis or desk research. The results of the analysis indicate that Indonesia's defense spending trends, influenced by positive economic growth, security threats, and the government's commitment to defense industry self-sufficiency, have fluctuated in the period 2019-2024. Despite decreases in 2023 and 2024, defense budgets remain significant, reflecting the government's commitment to national defense. However, defense spending trends have not significantly impacted the self-sufficiency of the defense industry. Criticisms involve insufficient technology transfer, limited orders, and dependence on imported defense equipment. Achieving self-sufficiency requires political will and policy changes for long-term development. Full government support, both in budgetary allocations and policies, is crucial to attaining the desired self-sufficiency and addressing global dynamics.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strategy of recruiting new students (PPDB) in private schools, especially at YPHB Bogor City High School, the research focuses on: (1) The process of recruiting new students at SMA YPHB Bogor City. (2) Recruitment strategy for accepting new students at SMA YPHB Bogor City in getting prospective students. (3) Factors supporting and inhibiting schools in the recruitment of New Student Admissions (PPDB) at SMA YPHB Bogor City. An effective strategy that can be recommended to be used at YPHB SMA in order to recruit new students every year.The research method used was descriptive qualitative, namely describing, explaining, and disclosing the results of research on student recruitment, with the type of case study research. Data collection techniques included in-depth interviews, participant observations, and documentation. The research subjects were foundations, principals, committees, and parents of students. The results showed that the recruitment strategy for accepting new students at YPHB Senior High School (1) The planning for accepting new students at SMA YPHB was by using internal and external strategies. The internal strategy is carried out through improving school facilities and infrastructure, presenting an attractive school environment. The external strategy is carried out through outreach, placing banners, distributing brochures. Dissemination through social media, print media, electronic media (Publications) on a regular basis. In addition, socialization visits and coordination were also carried out to PPDB target schools. Promotion of YPHB High School flagship programs that can be sold to outside communities so that they can attract more outstanding students. Academic and non-academic Achievement Scholarships and Orphans/Orphans/Orphans with Achievement. Compensation for junior high schools is still being implemented. Holding a PPDB promotional content contest. . (2) The strategy for implementing the recruitment and selection of new students consists of several activities, namely, the establishment of a committee, holding committee meetings for implementing new student admissions, conducting student selection, determining students who are accepted, an announcement of the test results, and re-registration for those who have passed

Abstract

Administrative services are a basic need for society. However, its implementation is still not practical and simple, resulting in effects that can impact other sectors such as the economy. The demographic condition of Gampong Jawa Lama shows that there is no time efficiency which will result in many losses. Apart from that, the absorption of existing village funds shows that the use of paper for administration is still very large which is not in accordance with point 13 of the Sustainable Development Goals, coupled with the impact of the pandemic which has worsened the situation by implementing various restrictions on sectors of society. It is urgent to find a solution that facilitates the community in the administrative sector and Gampong Jawa Lama needs a solution to facilitate the administrative process in terms of delivery distribution and management by village officials to create a minimum system that is effective, efficient and interacts directly. Based on the needs and conditions of Gampong Jawa Lama Village, the online administration solution, namely "Smart Village: Empowering Gampong Jawa Lama through an Intelligent Information System for Online Application-Based Community Administration Services", is an application that can accommodate administrative processes at the village level using the Android system.

Abstract

Reconstruction of the road section uses the flexible pavement method where aggregate material is the main component of the structure. Choosing the right aggregate gradation and meeting the specification requirements will greatly determine the quality of the road. This research aims to determine the characteristics of aggregate gradation sourced from stock files and compare the results of aggregate gradation analysis of job mix design planning consultants. The method uses laboratory testing. Aggregate wear test results 2-3 = 5.36%, 1-2 = 6.14%. The absorption value of aggregate 2-3 = 0.87%, 1-2 = 1.79%, 0.5 - 1 = 1.80% and stone ash = 2.27%. Values of dry specific gravity, SSD specific gravity, and apparent specific gravity of aggregate 2-3 = 2.73, 2.69, 2.66, 1-2 = 2.72, 2.64, 2.62 0.5- 1 = 2.70, 2.62, 2.58, rock ash = 2, 53, 2.59, 2.69. These values meet the requirements of the 2018 Bina Marga specifications, 2nd revision. The comparison of the results of the field aggregate gradation test analysis with the results of the job mix design analysis is the same because the aggregates tested come from the same stock file. The results of the sieve analysis test showed that the coarse aggregate fineness modulus of 2-3, 1-2, and 0.5 - 1 did not meet the specification standards, while the fine aggregate for stone ash did. The value that does not meet is caused by not paying attention to the additional note that the coarse aggregate retained on the 1" sieve is ±6%.
