Abstract

Pemahaman konsep peluang sering menjadi kendala bagi siswa karena materi ini bersifat abstrak dan sulit dikaitkan dengan pengalaman nyata. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah mengetahui sejauh mana siswa kelas delapan di SMP Negeri 2 Besuk memahami konsep peluang setelah menggunakan pendekatan simulasi metode Monte Carlo. Dengan menerapkan metode kuasi-eksperimen menggunakan desain nonequivalent control group, siswa dibagi menjadi dua kelompok, satu belajar melalui simulasi Monte Carlo dan kelompok lain dengan metode pembelajaran konvensional. Seluruh siswa kelas delapan menjadi partisipan, kemudian dua kelompok dipilih secara acak sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol. Data dikumpulkan melalui pre-test dan post-test dengan soal terbuka untuk mengukur pemahaman konsep peluang. Sebelum analisis utama, dilakukan uji homogenitas dan normalitas. Selanjutnya, uji t-independen dipakai untuk menguji perbedaan signifikan antara kedua kelompok. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pemahaman konsep peluang siswa meningkat secara nyata dengan penggunaan simulasi metode Monte Carlo. Kelompok eksperimen memperoleh nilai post-test rata-rata 81,52, sedangkan kelompok kontrol 74,57. Temuan ini membuktikan pendekatan Monte Carlo merupakan metode baru dan efektif dalam pengajaran matematika karena memanfaatkan simulasi untuk menghubungkan konsep abstrak dengan aplikasi nyata. Siswa didorong untuk aktif melakukan percobaan berulang, sehingga membantu mereka memahami prinsip peluang sekaligus mengasah intuisi matematis.

Abstract

This study explores the impact of the Car Free Day (CFD) program on the performance and sustainability of micro businesses operating in the Kraksaan Square area, Probolinggo. The CFD policy, which restricts motorized vehicle access in designated urban areas during specific hours, offers both opportunities and challenges for local entrepreneurs. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, this research involved interviews with micro business owners, field observations, and documentation studies to identify how CFD activities affect sales volume, consumer behavior, and business dynamics. The findings reveal that CFD has a positive influence on micro businesses, especially those engaged in culinary and fashion sectors, due to increased pedestrian traffic and more accessible public space. However, the success of these businesses during CFD also depends on their ability to adapt marketing strategies, product displays, and service quality. The study concludes that Car Free Day serves as a strategic opportunity for the economic empowerment of micro enterprises, provided it is supported by effective local government coordination and sustainable business practices. This research contributes to a broader understanding of urban space utilization and local economic development in the context of environmentally conscious policies.

Abstract

The development of Islamic boarding schools is seen from the number of students and members of the community who study Islamic religious knowledge. Students themselves can understand Islamic teachings perfectly thanks to the support of a culture of reading and writing developed and facilitated by the kiai as the main manager in the Islamic boarding school. The role of the kiai does not stop at the form of support and provision of facilities, but also has a high interest and habit in reading and writing. This leadership model inspires a culture of reading and writing in the Islamic boarding school environment. This research is qualitative supported by a phenomenological approach. Data collection techniques include in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation. Data analysis was then conducted, including data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Data validation was conducted through credibility, transferability, defendability, and confirmability tests. This research focuses on the supervision model developed by the kiai at the Al Falah Islamic Boarding School. The supervision model implemented by the Al Falahh Islamic is inspired by the leadership of the kiai as the primary administrator of the Islamic boarding school, over the structural officials within the Annuqayah area. It also inspires supervision by the library manager through coordination with other regional libraries. It also includes internal and external supervision in selecting students' writings before publication. It also includes supervision within the educational institution.

Abstract

This study explores the management of superior Madrasa programs in improving the competitiveness of institutions at MTsN 1 and MTsN 2 Ponorogo. Both institutions have their own uniqueness that is not possessed by other institutions, including a history of consistent competitiveness since their establishment in 1979. The focus of this study is on the planning, organization, implementation, and supervision of superior Madrasa programs. The study used a multi-site study method with a phenomenological approach and field research type. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, non-participant observation, and documentation studies, with snowball sampling techniques for selecting informants. The results of the study indicate that the planning of superior Madrasa programs involves mapping the talents and interests of students, developing a comprehensive curriculum, innovative learning methods, and teacher coaching. Organization is carried out through the formation of a special team, determining the structure and tasks, and monitoring and evaluation. Implementation involves student selection, curriculum implementation, innovative learning methods, intensive guidance, and comprehensive assessment. Supervision includes the formation of a special supervision team and the implementation of periodic supervision, as well as providing recommendations to related parties. This study confirms Henry Fayol's theory of management functions, namely planning, organizing, commanding, coordinating, and controlling. This finding provides an important contribution to the development of educational management in superior Madrasas to improve the competitiveness of institutions.

Abstract

Merit can be understood as the standard of how human being behaves in relation to others. Merit or moral value can be classified in some categories depending on the perspectives by which such merit is viewed. In general, merit is classified into two, namely formal and material. This writing is intended to discuss how such classification works within the context of Islamic education. It is believed that Islamic merit only remains as subject matter but it is not internalized into students’ way of life. Thus, even though students achieve high scores in their Islamic subject matter, their behaviour is not acceptable in the society.

Abstract

Abstract

The development of technology and information today, especially in media information and communication can produce pattern of thinking and attitude to be a good progress. Moreover, with the rapid develop of technology right now, the world of education also join to plays a role in the process of utilizing of emerging technologies. In this case, utilizing the learning technology media to benefit optimally is useful for education process, as well as the teacher’s role that also needed for teaching and learning philosophical of Islamic education. The students are able to understand the material about philosophy and to hone the students’ thinking happily and motivated if the teacher teach them using multimedia interactive. Since this learning strategy can guide the students completely in order to master the philosophy material quickly. This multimedia Interactive help the students to learn and understand the materials of philosophy which can operate by computer. Those CD interactive program made by compound some materials in the form of film, moving picture, animation, and games. Therefore, the students are able to understand Philosophy of Islamic Education by utilizing the virtual picture of material which was packed in compact disc form even can be operated with computer or laptop.

Abstract

This research aims to understand the empowerment of farmer groups in Sejati Village, Camplong District, Sampang Regency from the perspective of Islamic economics. This study is a qualitative descriptive analysis. The research was conducted in Bunut hamlet, Sejati Village, Camplong District, Sampang Regency. The subjects of this study are the Sejati Bersatu farmer group in Sejati Village. The informants for this research include Mr. Muhammad as the head of the Sejati Bersatu farmer group, farmers, and the community of Bunut Hamlet. Data collection was done using methods of observation, interviews, and documentation. Tancehe results of the study indicate that the management of tobacco and chili in Sejati Village, Camplong District, Sampang Regency is in accordance with the perspective of Islamic economics In accordance with the perspective of Islamic economics which includes the principle of monotheism, the principle of maslahah, the principle of mutual assistance, and the principle of working and productivity.

Abstract

Merdeka Learning Merdeka Campus (MBKM) is a higher education concept that aims to give students freedom to organize and take control of their learning process. This concept shifts the traditional paradigm of higher education as a reward for lecturers towards a more open and mindful approach to students. MBKM includes giving freedom to students in choosing courses, determining learning methods, and recognizing learning outside the campus. The research used in this journal is library research or library research, with data and information collection techniques through reading literature or written sources such as books, previous research, papers, journals, articles, reports and magazines. In its implementation, MBKM focuses on students, but in line with its goals and focus, there are challenges in implementing MBKM in tertiary institutions.

Abstract

There are two focus problems in this study, namely: How is the process of changing the pattern of socio-religious interaction and what is the form of polarization of socio-religious interactions during the Covid-19 pandemic in Siwalankerto Village, Wonocolo District? This research was conducted using qualitative research methods and in analyzing this study using the AGIL-Talcott Parson theory. From the results of the study, it was found that there were new patterns in the socio-religious interaction of the Siwalankerto community since the covid-19 pandemic. This new pattern began to become new values in socioreligious life when the government made several policies and regulations relating to the handling of the covid 19 pandemic. With the changing patterns of interaction and the community must be able to adapt to the current pandemic conditions. Changes in socio-religious interactions during the COVID-19 pandemic occurred when people had to adjust to government policies regarding the community in their activities, including in socio-religious activities and the application of strict protocols in every activity, including the implementation of religious rituals. With the COVID-19 pandemic, religious ritual activities which are usually carried out together and between religious activities and social interaction have become a single unit in society, now must change. Government policies and regulations for worship must be carried out in their respective homes so that there is a polarization of social interaction and religious practice during the COVID-19 pandemic
