Abstract

This research was conducted to determine whether the implementation of the BUPIN (Interactive Learning Book) application can improve student learning outcomes. In this case, the researcher chose a comparative quantitative approach. The population selected by the researcher consists of all 62 students of MA Plus Taruna Islam Al-Kautsar in the academic year 2022/2023. The simple random sampling technique was used to determine the sample members, and the researcher selected 21 students from class X. The data collected by the researcher consisted of mid-term and final exam scores. The data were analyzed using one-way ANOVA, and the SPSS version 16.0 application was used to assist in data analysis. From the results of the analysis, the researcher obtained a significant value of less than 0.05 (0.000 < 0.05). Therefore, it can be concluded that the use of the BUPIN (Interactive Learning Book) application can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The purpose of marriage is sakinah, mawadah and warahmah. But, achieving these three things is not easy. The existence of disputes that occur repeatedly is the main factor in the breakdown of a marriage. This dispute can occur due to a lack of trust and communication between partners, so the final path chosen is divorce. The impact of this divorce is not only felt by husband and wife or parents but also by children. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to describe the impact of parental discord and divorce on the religious and spiritual lives of children. This research was conducted at MTs Miftahul Jannah, Wangkal Probolinggo with using a qualitative approach and purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation of 5 research subjects who met the research criteria. The result obtained is that disputes and divorce have an impact on the child's religious and spiritual life. From a religious perspective, children's obedience to religion, in this case, depends on parenting before and after divorce, while from a spiritual perspective, children tend to mature faster than their age. They are more independent and feel able to find their own solutions to life's problems.

Abstract

Students' perceptions towards teachers strategies  in teaching reading skills are also important to know by teachers, so that they can be used as reflections to improving their strategies in teaching reading. This research different between some previous study because the focus in the some previous is more generally because analyze about students’ perception towards teachers attitude, teaching style and attitude in learning English. Meanwhile, in this research is more specifically because analyze about students’ perception towards teachers strategies and only focus in reading skill. In previous study use a quantitative method but in this study use a qualitative method. The aim of this study was to find out how students' perceptions towards teachers strategies in teaching reading skills.The participants in this study were eleventh grade students at SMAI MU Jatiurip. This study used interviews, observation and documentation to obtain data.The result  showed that students’ perception towards teacher’s strategies in teaching reading at SMAI MU  Jatiurip is give had positive percepatan with all of the teaching strategies in teaching reading. They are predicting, question and generating and answering, role plays and think pair share except summarizing strategy because they feel boring about learning reading material when the teacher used summarizing strategy. The most of students prefer to predicting strategy because students understand lessons more quickly when using predicting strategies.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the management of the foreign language learning curriculum at the Zainul Hasanain Genggong Pajarakan Islamic Boarding School. This research method uses qualitative-descriptive. Data collection techniques through observation and interviews. Data analysis was carried out from data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Meanwhile, source triangulation is used as a data validation technique. The results of this study explain that the management system for foreign language learning curriculum at Zainul Hasanain Islamic Boarding School is quite good and well organized. It is known that the curriculum management applied is the same as the stages of management in general (planning, actuating, and evaluating). The planning process formulated objectives, program of activities, and schedule of activities. Then the implementation is carried out by implementing continuous activities such as memorizing vocab/mufrodat, grammar/qowaid nahwu-shorrof, short activities, and muthola'ah. There is also an annual program held to see the success and skill level of learning foreign languages such as story telling or qisshoh, and to undergo assignments for two years. Finally, evaluation of student learning is carried out once every three months.

Abstract

Nonverbal communication is communication that is done only by using gestures, facial expressions and eye contact. The function of nonverbal communication for early childhood is to stimulate children's motor and sensory abilities, it can also increase children's imagination. There are several cartoons that use nonverbal communication, one of which is the Shaun The Sheep cartoon. In the Shaun The Sheep program, the researcher chose an episode of We Wish A Merry Christmas which tells a story where livestock owners feel sad because they don't have Christmas accessories, Bitzer and Shaun know that they and other sheep are working together to make Christmas accessories for livestock owners. This cartoon uses nonverbal communication in which it can increase the audience's imagination as well as teach children mutual cooperation, mutual assistance and tolerance. Researchers also use nonverbal theory to involve creating and interpreting messages using only body movements and facial expressions

Abstract

This paper aims to review the leadership and improvement of education quality in islamic boarding school. To realize the objectives of boarding school, a leader who has the ability to answer various challenges, have a vision to be come the excellent boarding school, and the effort to achieve it with high energy and commitment. Leaders who always try to influence their subordinates through direct communication by emphasizing the importance of values, assumptions, commitments, and beliefs and have a determination to achieve the goals. Leaders act in way to motivate and inspire subordinates through the giving of meaning and challange to the duties of subordinates. The meaning of the quality of education is the suitability of the needs in education which one means to improve the quality of human resouces as well as to produce changing of human to become a perfect human beings with the noble character and good personality.

Abstract

This study investigates the performance achievements of 60 Islamic teachers in madrasahs during the learning process and identifies the problems and solutions needed to ensure all teachers meet the standards set by the Decree of the Minister of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia Number 209//P/2021. Utilizing a survey methodology and in-depth interviews, the study found several challenges: 19 teachers struggled with implementing contextual learning; 8 teachers faced issues with process and results assessment; 18 teachers had problems with remedial and enrichment programs; 15 teachers found it difficult to create a pleasant learning environment; 31 teachers encountered obstacles in promoting reading and writing literacy; 10 teachers had trouble ensuring student safety, comfort, and cleanliness; and 17 teachers faced difficulties optimizing school facilities and infrastructure. These challenges were attributed to the lack of active participation in teacher quality improvement training programs such as contextual teaching and learning, assessment instruments, active learning, literacy, and media and learning resource development training. Interviews with teachers who did not face these difficulties indicated that their participation in ongoing professional development programs helped them overcome these issues. Consequently, it is recommended that school stakeholders support teachers' involvement in these professional development programs to enhance their performance.

Abstract

Abstrak Pendidikan di SMP Badridduja Full Day School memegang peranan penting dalam membentuk karakter dan kecerdasan siswa. Program Tahsin dan Tahfidz Al-Qur''an telah dijalankan dengan baik, sesuai dengan visi sekolah. Namun, permasalahan dan kendala terkait pelaksanaan program ini perlu diidentifikasi. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi strategi kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan program Tahsin dan Tahfidz di sekolah tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif, bertempat di SMP Badridduja Full Day School Kabupaten Probbolinggo, Provinsi Jawa Timur. Kata Kunci: Strategi Kepala Sekolah, Efiktivitas Sekolah Abstract Education at Badridduja Full Day School plays an important role in shaping students' character and intelligence. The Tahsin and Tahfidz Al-Qur'an program has been implemented well, in accordance with the school's vision. However, problems and obstacles related to the implementation of this program need to be identified. Abstract

Abstrak Berdasarkan definisi dasarnya, pesantren adalah tempat belajar siswa. Sebagai lembaga pendidikan Islam, pesantren dikatakan sebagai tempat pembelajaran yang otomatis menjadi pusat kebudayaan Islam yang diterima atau dilembagakan oleh masyarakat. Secara historis, pesantren tidak hanya identik dengan makna Islam, namun juga mengandung makna keaslian Indonesia.(asli). Maka penulis menemukan permasalahan yaitu kualitas santri putra Pensantren Nurul Qur’an yang memadai dan mempunyai keterampilan di bidang kurikulum dan diniyyah serta lembaga penunjang kualitas peserta didik. Manajemen Pondok Pesantren dalam Meningkatkan Mutu kualitas santri di Pondok Pesantren Nurul Qur’an Patokan Kraksaan. Hal ini sangat penting karena mempengaruhi mutu kurikulum, keterampilan dan sikap yang membentuk mutu pendidikan peserta didik. pesantren Nurul Qur’an bermutu. Patokan Kraksaan Penelitian Pondok Pesantren Nurul Qur'an didasarkan pada kenyataan bahwa pondok pesantren dan sekolah pendidikan umum dapat mengintegrasikan kurikulum dan pendidikan pondok pesantren melalui program yang ada untuk bersaing di bidang pendidikan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif. Kajian ini memaparkan dan mengkaji secara mendalam permasalahan yang berkaitan dengan manajemen santri. Kata Kunci: Manajemen Pesantren, Mutu Santri Abstract Based on its basic definition, Islamic boarding school is a place for students to study. As an Islamic educational institution, Islamic boarding schools are said to be places of learning that automatically become centers of Islamic culture that are accepted or institutionalized by society. Historically, Islamic boarding schools are not only synonymous with the meaning of Islam, but also contain the meaning of Indonesian authenticity. So the author found a problem, namely the quality of male students at the Nurul Qur'an Islamic Boarding School who were adequate and had skills in the fields of curriculum and diniyyah as well as institutions supporting the quality of students. Abstract

As the role and function of the nation-state continue to expand, citizenship in the contemporary context has also developed. Islamic thoughts about being part of the political community, territory, and government system are all included in the data sources of the Al Quran and hadith. This study aims to discuss citizenship in Islam: the views of Imam Al-Ghazali. In this paper, researchers used the literature study method. In collecting data, the researcher uses literary research methods. This research was conducted by browsing and viewing literature and research related to library materials. These study results are related to the concept of citizenship in the analysis of Al-Ghazali's study, which is immovable in politics and law. A country must have a forward orientation and not continue with its dark past. A country and a government must organize themselves both from good citizens and a just government to achieve goals that are shared.
