Abstract

Common conflicts are faced by large organizations such as Bank Sumut, especially those arising from differences of opinion between employees, namely conflicts that are not managed properly can reduce productivity, lower employee morale, and create a disharmonious work atmosphere. This study was conducted at Bank Sumut with the type of research conducted being field research with a qualitative approach. With data collection through interview techniques on the head of HR at Bank Sumut as a solution to the problem. This study aims to explore and apply Human Resource (HR) management strategies in overcoming conflicts through the OGSM method (Objectives, Goals, Strategies, Measures). The OGSM method is used as a framework for setting goals, objectives, strategies, and measures of success in managing conflict. The main objective of implementing this method is to increase harmony and productivity in the Bank Sumut work environment. from this study is that the OGSM method is an effective tool in conflict management, able to create a more harmonious and productive work environment at Bank Sumut. These findings can be a guide for other organizations in managing conflicts due to differences of opinion in the workplace.

Abstract

This research examines the crucial role of service value and product quality of IndiHome services in influencing customer satisfaction at PT. Telkom Indonesia Tbk, Kandatel Kabanjahe. PT. Telkom Indonesia Tbk, as a State-Owned Enterprise (BUMN), plays a strategic role in the information and communication technology industry in Indonesia. The company's primary focus is to advance society through a range of products and services, with IndiHome as one of its flagship offerings. This study employs a qualitative approach, gathering data through interviews, field observations, and document analysis. The findings indicate that the quality of internet connection, myIndiHome application, and customer loyalty program significantly impact customer satisfaction. A fast and stable internet connection provides users with a better experience. The myIndiHome application facilitates easy access and management of services for customers. Meanwhile, the customer loyalty program successfully retains subscriptions. This research concludes that customer satisfaction is not just an end goal, but also the foundation for building strong and mutually beneficial long-term relationships.

Abstract

Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk berbagi pengetahuan dan memberikan sudut pandang mengenai politik hukum lembaga pengelola zakat. Seperti yang telah diktahui zakat merupakan salah satu rukun Islam dan kewajiban pelaksanaan juga diatur didalam Al-Qur’an. Dan dalam hal ini negara juga mengaturnya didalam Undang-Undang Nomor 23 Tahun 2011 tentang pengelolaan zakat. Dan berdasarkan pasal 3 UU ini disebutkan bahwa tujuan pengelolaan zakat adalah meningkatkan efektivitas dan efisiensi pelayanan dalam pengelolaan zakat meningkatkan manfaat zakat untuk mewujudkan kesejahteraan masyarakat dan penanggulangan kemiskinan. Namun, seperti beberzpa data yang penulis cantumkan tampaknya pengelolaan zakat oleh lembaga zakat belum efektif atau belum mencapai tujuan dari terciptanya peraturan tersebut. Permasalahan yang akan dibahas dalam penulisan ini adalah mengenai politik hukum lembaga pengelola zakat, dan efektifitas pengelolaan zakat oleh lembaga zakat serta pengoptimalan pengelolaan zakat agar terciptanya kesejahteraan masyarakat. Pada penelitian ini penulis menggunakan jenis penelitian yang dilakukan tergolong pada penelitian hukum normatif. Sedangkan metode penelitiannya menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Metode ini didasarkan atas analisis yang dilakukan terhadap UU No. 23 Tahun 2011 tentang Pengelolaan Zakat. Serta menggunakan pendekatan Undang-undang dan pendekatan konseptual. Adapun mengenai hasilnya penulis menemukan belum efektif pengelolaan zakat oleh lembaga pengelola zakat di Indonesia yang dibuktikan belum tercapainya target pengumpulan zakat yaitu pada tahun 2021 telah terkumpul dana sebanyak 17 triliun namun angka tersebut belum mencapai target dari Lembaga pengelola zakat. Sedangkan mengenai politik hukum pengelolaan zakat terdapat pada revisi UU pengelolaan zakat dari awalnya UU No.38 Tahun 1999 kepada UU No.23 tahun 2011 yang dikatakan UU penyempurnaan terhadap UU yang lama dengan tujuan memperketat aturan pembayaran zakat di Indonesia. Dan pengoptimalan yang dilakukan oleh Lembaga pengelola zakat agar masyarakat sejahtera adalah dengan menghimbau bahwa seharusnya pembayaran zakat dilakukan pada badan resmi pemerintahan. This paper aims to share knowledge and provide a perspective on the legal politics of zakat management institutions. As already known, zakat is one of the pillars of Islam and the obligation to implement it is also regulated in the Qur'an. And in this case the state also regulates it in Law Number 23 of 2011 concerning the management of zakat. And based on article 3 of this law, it is stated that the purpose of zakat management is to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of services in zakat management, to increase the benefits of zakat to realize community welfare and reduce poverty. However, as some of the data that the author has included, it seems that the management of zakat by zakat institutions has not been effective or has not achieved the objectives of the creation of the regulation. The problems that will be discussed in this paper are about the legal politics of zakat management institutions, and the effectiveness of zakat management by zakat institutions as well as optimizing zakat management in order to create community welfare. In this study, the author uses the type of research carried out classified as normative legal research. While the research method using qualitative research methods. This method is based on the analysis conducted on Law no. 23 of 2011 concerning Zakat Management. As well as using the law approach and conceptual approach. As for the results, the authors found that zakat management institutions in Indonesia have not been effective yet, as evidenced by the fact that the zakat collection target has not been achieved, namely in 2021, 17 trillion funds have been collected, but this figure has not reached the target of the zakat management institution. Meanwhile, regarding the legal politics of zakat management, there is a revision of the zakat management law from Law No. 38 of 1999 to Law No. 23 of 2011 which is said to be a revision of the old law with the aim of tightening the rules for paying zakat in Indonesia. And the optimization carried out by the zakat management institution so that the community is prosperous is by urging that zakat payments should be made to official government agencies.

Abstract

This study was conducted to evaluate the level of satisfaction of toll road users with regard to the tariffs set by the Government regarding the determination of the Medan - Tebing Tinggi Toll Road to the total volume of vehicles that pass. The research uses quantitative methods by applying survey techniques by distributing questionnaires. Sampling using purposive sampling technique with a sample of 150 respondents. Respondents' perceptions were measured using a Likert scale of 1-4. The Community Satisfaction Index (IKM) is calculated based on the PAN Ministerial Regulation Number 14 of 2017 concerning Guidelines for Compiling a Community Satisfaction Survey. The calculation results show that the IKM regarding the Medan-Tebing Tinggi toll tariff policy is 71.00 (included in the category B or Good value). This is because the service element that is considered good is Cost/Tariff compared to other service elements that get the highest interval value, namely 3.5 (Satisfied). So that the costs incurred to take the Medan-Tebing Tinggi toll road are considered affordable and still comparable to the distance traveled by the toll road. The recommendation in this study is that the government should further improve the quality of the roads, coupled with the number of uneven road connections.

Abstract

Mail management is an important thing to pay attention to in order to maintain the integrity of the information to be received. In the correspondence system at the North Sumatra Governor's Office, every incoming letter will be received first by the General Bureau to be recorded as an incoming letter archive and then forwarded to the relevant bureau to manage the letter. This paper aims to review the incoming mail management process at the General Bureau and then assess the current system. By using descriptive qualitative methods, the data contained in this paper were obtained through direct observation, interviews and literature studies. So it was found that the incoming mail management system at the General Bureau is currently at a good and efficient stage which is also supported by technological assistance in loading information from each incoming letter.

Abstract

The focus of this research is, 1) how business management at CV Antique Production to improve consumer satisfaction in the Islamic Perspective of Islam. 2) What are the constraints on printing business management at CV Antique Production in improving consumer satisfaction in the Islamic Emergency Perspective. 3) What are the solutions of the constraints on printing business management on CV antique production in improving consumer satisfaction in the Islamic Emergency Perspective. This research uses descriptive approach with the type of qualitative research. The data source obtained is primary and secondary data. Data collection techniques with observation, interview and documentation. Data analysis techniques use data reduction, data presentation, and concludes. This research is the management of printing business done by CV. Antique Production To improve consumer satisfaction in the Islamic economic perspective is to implement management functions or management in Islam well. The management function consists of: the implementation (planning), organizing), implementation (actuating), and control (controlling). Constraint business management facing by CV. Antique Production To improve consumer satisfaction include internal constraints that is lack of employees when many demand and delay of product raw material supplies, and external constraints are of unclear consumers with product details of the product and competitor or competitors. Solutions to overcome constraints on printing business management by CV. Antique Production To improve consumer satisfaction includes the solution of internal constraints that adds employees with freelance systems, adding more than one supplyer and check periodically inventory of product raw materials while solutions for external constraints are providing conservation sessions of the booking and consuming businesses by opening product gallery and developing its employee skills.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of e-money, promotions, and lifestyle on the purchase decisions of Chatime beverages among Generation Z in North Sumatra, with self-control as a moderating variable. Data were collected through a survey of 100 Generation Z respondents who met the research criteria. The data analysis technique used was the Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). Data processing was conducted using SPSS 25. The results indicate that e-money, promotions, and lifestyle significantly affect the purchase decisions of Chatime beverages among Generation Z in North Sumatra Medan. Furthermore, simultaneous analysis shows that e-money, promotions, and lifestyle collectively have a significant influence on purchase decisions. However, self-control does not have a significant impact on purchase decisions. Additionally, self-control does not significantly strengthen the relationship between e-money and lifestyle. Self-control significantly weakens the relationship between promotions and purchase decisions and significantly strengthens the relationship between lifestyle and purchase decisions.

Abstract

The research aims to analyze the impact of implementing Islamic Business Ethics on enchancing employee perfomance at CV. Citra Medan Printing. The researcj methodology employed is descriptive qualitative research. Data ware gathered through the researcher’s field observations during an internship at the company and through interviews with the owner of CV. Citra Medan. The result of this studi demonstrate that the implementation of Islamic Business Ethics at CV. Citra Medan Printing has a positive impact on employee perfomance. Employees engaged in business practices aligned with islamic values tend to be more motivated, exhibit higher commitment levels and show improvements is productivity. This study provides recommendations for similar companies to consider implementing Islamic Business Ethics aas a strategy to boost employee perfomance and fortify the company’s image. Furthermore, this research contributes to a deeper understanding of how Islamic Business Ethics can be applied in the context of modern business.

Abstract

Ministerial Regulations are regulations set by the minister depending on how the regulations will be used to carry out certain government affairs. DPMPTSP has the task of assisting regional heads in carrying out government affairs in the field of investment and one-stop integrated services, in accordance with Chapter III Article 4 of the Minister of Home Affairs Regulation (Permendagri) Number 25 of 2021. This research aims to examine the implementation of employee performance in the Provincial DPMPTSP North Sumatra is in accordance with Minister of Home Affairs Regulation Number 25 of 2021 which focuses on Chapter III Article 4. Data collection is carried out using the observation method. The findings of this study emphasize the importance of performance quality.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate how responsibility and commitment can affect employee performance. This study's research technique uses qualitative methods, or more specifically, observation techniques used over the course of a month in the North Sumatra Governor's office. The study's findings indicate that responsibility and dedication play a big part in employee performance since they affect job productivity inside the organization, which in turn affects how the public perceives the organization. Therefore, it can be claimed that the organization's function may help each employee become more committed and responsible. which will eventually be able to offer the public the greatest service.
