Abstract

Abstract. This study aimed to determine the effect of the learning model of blended learning generic skills learning outcomes in the modeling and chemical materials. This study used a quasi-experimental methods (quasi experiment) with the draft nonequivalent control group design. The independent variables in this study is a learning model of blended learning and conventional learning models, while the dependent variable is the generic skills learning outcomes modeling and chemistry. Subjects were students of SMA Negeri 5 Banjarmasin grade XI totaling 149 students. Sampling was done by cluster random sampling, a class XI IPA 4 as the control class and XI IPA 2 as the experimental class. The data collection technique using the test results of study, observation and student questionnaire responses. Data were analyzed using normality test, homogeneity test, t-test and N-gain. The results showed that the influence of blended learning models to modeling generic skills and student learning outcomes. Results obtained t t-test of 4.41 is greater than the price Ftable is at 2.00, it indicates that there are differences in generic skills modeling dabn significant student learning outcomes after learning blended learning models. Based on the results of data analysis can be concluded that the application of blended learning models in chemical material effect on modeling generic skills and student learning outcomes SMA Negeri 5 Banjarmasin.Keywords: Blended Learning Model, the conventional model, modeling and generic skills learning outcomes

Abstract

Abstract: A research on the application of the learning methods of problem solving in the colloidal material class XI Science SMAN 4 Banjarmasin. This study aims to determine (1) differences in critical thinking skills students learn to use problem solving methods with conventional learning, (2) a response to the problem solving method in class XI IPA. Methods This study used a pretest- posttest nonequivalent control group design. Research sample is class XI Science SMAN 4 Banjarmasin which consists of class XI IPA 3 as the experimental class and class XI Science 2 as the control class. Data collection techniques using critical thinking skills tests and questionnaires. Statistical analysis using t-test, test for normality and homogeneity tests. The results showed that (1) there is a difference between the critical thinking skills that students learn to use problem solving methods with students who learn using conventional learning methods, namely the experimental class and 74.8% in the control class is 70.41% (2) response to learning of problem solving methods are categorized both by 32.2%.Keywords: problem solving, critical thinking skills, colloidal

Abstract

ABSTRACT. Has made the development of interactive multimedia instructional media materials colloidal systems. The purpose of this is to facilitate the development of teachers teaching with the use of interactive multimedia instructional media materials colloidal systems. This development is done in class XI IPA 1 SMAN 8 Banjarmasin academic year 2012/2013 which consisted of 12 students as the test sample and the small group of 33 students of class XI IPA 1 SMA PGRI 4 Banjarmasin academic year 2012/2013 as a limited field test sample . Data collection techniques using achievement test techniques, observations, and questionnaires. The test results obtained ahl media iterhadap average of 83.33 including excellent category, student learning outcomes test kecil71 group, 67% in both categories, 80.69% limited field test with the category very well and the average response of students to the test group 43.25 is very good small category and limited field tests 44.18 very good category. That is, the students gave a positive response. This shows an interactive multimedia instructional media can facilitate the learning process in the colloidal system material. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan: (1) untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar kognitif antara siswa yang menggunakan strategi pembelajaran TTW berbantuan LKS dengan siswa yang menggunakan strategi pembelajaran TTW tanpa berbantuan LKS pada materi reaksi redoks; (2) mengetahui respon siswa terhadap penerapan strategi pembelajaran TTW (Think Talk Write). Metode penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X yang berjumlah 69 orang. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah The nonequivalent control group design. Pengumpulan data menggunakan tes hasil belajar dan angket respon. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji-t dengan taraf signifikansi 5%. Teknik persentase digunakan untuk analisis respon. Perhitungan uji-t menunjukkan bahwa t-hitung > t-tabel sehingga disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar yang signifikan antara kelas eksperimen dan kontrol. Sedangkan untuk respon siswa sebanyak 81,47% memberikan respon positif pada kelas eksperimen dan 73,89% siswa memberikan respon positif pada kelas kontrol.

Abstract

Abstract. There have been development-based assessment of problem solving in the subject matter solubility and solubility product (Ksp). The purpose of this development is to provide appropriate assessment and produce a product that is able to assess students' conceptual understanding and algorithmic. Assessment that has been developed based on the standard of competence, basic competence and learning objectives. Development model used is the model Kemp. This development is done on 10 students of class XI Science SMAN 5 A Banjarmasin academic year 2012/2013 as a small group of test samples and 30 students of class XI IPA 1 SMAN 4 Banjarmasin academic year 2012/2013 as a limited field test sample. Data collection techniques using achievement test techniques, observation and questionnaires. Expert test results obtained average percentage of 95% are good, the results of a small group of students learning test either category 73.81%, 80.63% limited field test is very good category and the average test score student responses is 43 with a small group category as well as a limited field test is 39.47 with either category. That is, the students gave a positive response. Results show the development of problem solving-based assessment in the subject matter solubility and solubility product (Ksp) fit for use in learning. Assessment of students developed can be used in understanding the level of representation in the teaching of chemical solubility and solubility product (Ksp).Keywords: conceptual understanding, algorithmic understanding, problem solving, solubility andsolubility product (Ksp), the level of chemical representation.

Abstract

The problem that still often occurs in the world of education in Indonesia, especially in the field of science is that students are still not active in the learning process. The inquiry learning model and the use of video media are expected to be able to answer these problems. The research method used is Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The research sample used 69 students at the 8th grade level of SMP in Banjarmasin who were divided into two class groups, namely the control class and the experimental class. The results of this study indicate that there are significant differences in learning outcomes between the use of video-assisted inquiry learning models and conventional learning. The trend of both shows positive results that the increase in learning outcomes occurs in both learning models.Keywords: inquiry, learning videos, learning outcomesAbstrakPermasalahan yang masih sering terjadi dalam dunia pendidikan di Indonesia, khususnya di bidang IPA adalah masih kurang aktifnya peserta didik dalam proses pembelajaran. Model pembelajaran inkuiri dan penggunaan media video diharapkan mampu untuk menjawab permasalahan tersebut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Sampel penelitian menggunakan 69 orang peserta didik di kelas VIII SMP di Banjarmasin dan dibagi menjadi dua kelompok kelas, yaitu kelas kontrol dan eksperimen. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar yang signifikan antara penggunaan model pembelajaran inkuiri berbantuan media video dengan pembelajaran konvensional. Tren keduanya menunjukkan hasil yang positif bahwa peningkatan hasil belajar terjadi di kedua permodelan pembelajaran.Kata kunci: inkuiri, video pembelajaran, hasil belajar

Abstract

Penelitian ini berawal dari rendahnya keterampilan literasi sains di Indonesia. Salah satu penyebabnya karena kurangnya ketersediaan bahan ajar berbasis literasi sains di Indonesia. Salah satu materi IPA yang dapat dikembangkan yaitu pada materi kemagnetan. Maka peneliti melakukan penelitian pengembangan bahan ajar berbasis literasi sains pada materi kemagnetan, yaitu dengan memasukkan 4 aspek literasi sains kedalam modul pengembangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kevalidan, keterbacaan, dan kepraktisan bahan ajar berbasis literasi sains pada materi kemagnetan yang dikembangkan. Prosedur penelitiaan ini dibagi menjadi 3 tahap, yaitu Define, Design, Development. Berdasarkan hasil dari 5 validator modul, untuk validasi tampilan mendapatkan persentase 86%, validasi soal mendapatkan persentase 87%, dan validasi isi mendapatkan persentase 87%. Berdasarkan hasil uji coba, uji coba keterbacaan modul pada uji perorangan mendapatkan persentase 96%, keterbacaan soal evaluasi pada uji perorangan dengan persentase 92%, keterbacaan modul pada uji kelompok kecil dengan persentase 91%, dan keterbacaan soal evaluasi pada uji kelompok kecil dengan persentase 92%. Hasil uji coba kepraktisan modul pada uji perorangan mendapatkan persentase 94%, dan kepraktisan modul pada uji kelompok kecil dengan persentase 87%. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan modul IPA berbasis literasi sains valid, mudah dan sangat praktis.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dari permasalahan kurangnya ruang peserta didik untuk mengimplementasikan pengetahuannya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, dan juga status literasi sains peserta didik Indonesia yang tergolong rendah, sehingga dilakukan pemgembangan pada sebuah bahan ajar menjadi bahan ajar berjenis modul yang berbasis literasi sains. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kevalidan bahan ajar dinyatakan sangat baik dengan skor rata-rata validasi yaitu 3,60 Produk yang dikembangkan diharapkan dapat memberikan dampak positif dalam hal mengembangkan kemampuan literasi sains peserta didik.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui validitas, keterbacaan dan kepraktisan modul. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode research and development (RnD) melalui model four-D (4D) modifikasi dengan subjek penelitian 10 orang peserta didik kelas VIII SMP/MTs. Prosedur penelitian ini meliputi tiga tahap, yaitu define, design dan develop. Berdasarkan hasil dari lima validator, modul mendapatkan persentase validitas isi modul 90%, validitas tampilan modul 89.58%, validitas aspek literasi sains dalam modul 93.88 %, validitas soal evaluasi dalam modul 93.90% dan validitas keterkaitan soal evaluasi modul dengan indikator literasi sains 91%. Ini artinya modul sangat valid. Keterbacaan modul berdasarkan hasil penelitian uji perorangan dan kelompok kecil berturut-turut memperoleh persentase sebesar 88% dan 92%, sedangkan keterbacaan soal evaluasi modul berdasarkan hasil penelitian uji kelompok kecil dan perorangan berturut-turut adalah sebesar 84% dan 90% yang berarti keterbacaan modul mudah. Kepraktisan modul berdasarkan hasil penelitian pada uji perorangan dan kelompok kecil berturut-turut adalah sebesar 90% dan 87.40% yang artinya modul sangat praktis.

Abstract

Competition in the field of education globally is increasingly competitive, but it has not been directly proportional to the development of education in several regions in Indonesia. Students still have difficulty in critical thinking, including the concept of classification of living things, because the teaching materials used are not fully related to the experience and environment of students. This study aims to develop teaching materials for the concept of classification of living things based on local potential. The development is carried out using Tessmer's formative model which includes five stages; 1) self-evaluation (self-evaluation); 2) expert opinion (expert review); 3) Individual trial (one to one); 4) small group trial; and 5) field test. The results showed that by developing a prototype of contextual teaching materials based on local advantages, it was able to increase students' interest, activity, and thinking skills which could be measured by increasing their learning outcomes.Abstrak Persaingan di bidang pendidikan secara global semakin kompetitif, namun belum berbanding lurus dengan perkembangan pendidikan di beberapa daerah di Indonesia. Peserta didik masih mengalami kesulitan dalam berpikir kritis, diantaranya pada konsep klasifikasi makhluk hidup, karena bahan ajar yang digunakan belum sepenuhnya berkaitan dengan pengalaman dan lingkungan hidup peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengambangan bahan ajar konsep klasifikasi makhluk hidup berbasis potensi lokal. Pengembangan dilakukan dengan menggunakan model formatif Tessmer yang meliputi lima tahapan; 1) evaluasi diri (self-evaluation); 2) pendapat pakar (expert review); 3) Uji coba perorangan (one to one); 4) uji coba kelompok kecil (small group); dan 5) uji lapangan (field test). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dengan dilakukan pengembangan prototype bahan ajar kontekstual berbasis keunggulan lokal mampu meningkatkan minat, aktivitas, dan kemampuan berpikir siswa yang dapat diukur diantaranya dengan meningkatnya hasil belajarnya.
