Abstract

This paper attempts to describe the challenges and opportunities of social media in post-truth. The author will discuss this in this paper that is first the process of presuppositions formation. Second, post-Christian presuppositions. Third, build theological presuppositions. The author found that the need for institutions that spread can discover elements of hoax in the narrative. Second, agencies are watching the news and responding to public criticism. Third, there is a competition to create the actual content—fourth, literacy training. Fifth, there is a guarantee of freedom of expression.

Abstract

Teachers in learning Christian Religious Education have not implemented holistic education. The implementation of the 2013 curriculum used only focuses on the cognitive aspects. This paper aims to determine the application and impact of holistic education implementation in PAK learning. The method used is a qualitative, phenomenological approach. The CE teacher at the Rehoboth Oebelo Christian Middle School has implemented holistic education. This can be seen from the teacher's efforts to develop students' potential well and appropriately and using strategies/methods appropriately and adequately. So that students can be active in class and use the learning environment based on the subject matter and evaluation results.

Abstract

This paper will describe the practice of ecological responsibility that has been implemented in the Lopo Maus Congregation. The author began to stir the congregation when he saw land that was not being used. Even though the people around the Lopo Maus congregation have a large land area, striving for this land is to build an economy that is still below the poverty line. The challenge for land management in Kupang is that there is very little water. This writing aims to make the community make the best use of the land. This effort is made so that people love the environment more. The method that I use is qualitative, an objective approach that is carried out in the field. The results of the study found that first, land management requires persistence and patience. Second, good teamwork. Third, creating jobs. Fourth, environmental management as a concrete form of worship. Fifth, it can improve people's lives.

Abstract

Penulisan paper ini berupaya menemukan pelayanan admisnistrasi akademik kampus yang masih pada tataran cukup. Administrasi akademik memegang peranan dalam meniningkatkan penatalayanan kampus. Pelayanan administrasi yang baik akan memberi kepuasan yang maksimal. Kualitas pelayanan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan konsumen, dan kepuasan mahasiswa berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap loyalitas mahasiswa. Pendekatan pelayanan yang dimaksud adalah sikap terhadap pekerjaan dan tanggung jawab yang diberikan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menjawab tantangan penatalayanan kampus terhadap mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan survei. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menobservasi perilaku kerja, dan telaah dokumen. Penelitian ini menemukan hal-hal sebagai berikut: 1) Aspek tangible ditemukan pada kategori sangat memuaskan dan memuaskan. 2) Aspek Realibility ditemukan pada kategori memuaskan. 3) Aspek Responsive ditemukan pada kategori sangat memuskan dan memuaskan. 4. Pada aspek Assurance ketidakpuasan ditemukan pada ketersediaan asrama mahasiswa sedangkan pada aspek lain sangat memuaskan. 5) Pada aspek empati, mahasiswa puas terhadap layanan administrasi

Abstract

The online learning system requires parents to accompany their children more in learning. However, many parents still feel overwhelmed to explain the tasks given by the teacher online. Parents feel overwhelmed because they have to accompany their children and explain the tasks given by the teacher. Because not all parents are able to explain the task well so they are angry with their children. The goal of this study is to describe parental help during the COVID-19 epidemic. The author uses the Oebobo II Elementary School as an example. This research employs a qualitative descriptive-analytic technique. Decomposition of data obtained from informants in accordance with research questions. The study results found that learning facilities and infrastructure became primary sources in the learning process. The form of parental assistance provides learning facilities in laptops, internet quotas, and comfortable study rooms. So there is monitoring and control to help children who have learning difficulties. Smooth communication between teachers and parents is the leading way in a good learning process.

Abstract

This study aims to discover the function of the church in present-day reality. The church is confronted with self-actualization in today's complex context. The writer wants to show off the principle of the church which is constantly being renewed. The church as an organism is willing and able to transform social conditions. The method used in this research is qualitative research with a literature review approach. The approach emphasizes the research for theoretical studies and values that develop based on scientific studies. The writer concluded that the church must be involved in nation-building; renewal in all aspects of human life; the church contributes to upholding the law, human rights, and the role of women; the church becomes a place to uphold honesty, justice, and truth. Abstrak Kajian tulisan ini bertujuan menemukan fungsi gereja dalam realitas masa kini. Gereja diperhadapkan kepada reaktualisasi diri dalam konteks masa kini yang kompleks. Penulis hendak menyuarakan lagi prinsip gereja yakni terus-menerus diperbaharui. Gereja sebagai organisme mau dan mampu mentransformasi kondisi sosial. Cara yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah prinsip kualitatif dengan pendekatan telaah literatur. Pendekatan menekankan penelusuran kajian teoritis dan nilai yang berkembang berdasarkan kajian ilmiah. Penulis memberi kesimpulan bahwa, gereja harus terlibat dalam pembangunan bangsa; pembaruan dalam seluruh aspek kehidupan manusia; gereja turut andil dalam menegakkan hukum, Hak Asasi Manusia, dan peran perempuan; gereja menjadi wadah menjunjung tinggi kejujuran, keadilan, dan kebenaran.

Abstract

This article examines Christian leadership with integrity based on 1 Timothy 3: 1-7. This study departs from the condition of the leaders, both church leaders and leaders in general. Some leaders are no longer a figure or role model for their own families, people they lead and even society in general. With that problem, the authors describe the leader who is an example for everyone. The method used is a qualitative method. Based on the study conducted by the author, there are two important things that need to be learned, namely Leadership Model is without blemish, husband of one wife, can hold back, polite, wise, likes to give a ride, and inspires many people including the servants in Church. Furthermore, the leader has a good name inside and outside the congregation. This is evident from the activities of the leader himself. Therefore, this paper is a study of Christian leadership that highlights all aspects of the life of Christian leaders not only in the Church but in society. Abstrak Artikel ini mengkaji tentang kepemimpinan Kristen yang berintegritas berdasarkan 1 Timotius 3:1-7. Kajian ini berangkat dari kondisi para pemimpin, baik pemimpin gereja maupun pemimpin pada umumnya. Beberapa pemimpin tidak lagi menjadi figur atau teladan bagi keluarganya sendiri, orang yang dipimpinnya bahkan masyarakat pada umumnya. Dengan persoalan itu maka, penulis memaparkan tentang pemimpin yang menjadi teladan bagi semua orang. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif. Berdasarkan kajian yang dilakukan oleh penulis, maka ada dua hal penting yang perlu dipelajari, yakni Keteladanan pemimpin itu tidak bercacat, suami dari satu istri, dapat menahan diri, sopan, bijaksana, suka memberi tumpangan, dan menginspirasi banyak orang termasuk para pelayan-pelayan di Gereja. Selanjutanya, pemimpin itu memiliki nama baik di dalam dan di luar jemaat. Hal ini nampak dari aktiftas pemimpin itu sendiri. Oleh karena itu, tulisan ini merupakan studi kepemimpinan Kristen yang menyoroti seluruh aspek kehidupan pemimpin Kristen bukan hanya di dalam Gereja tetapi dalam masyarakat.

Abstract

The writer examines the competence of communications in work that influenced the spirit of work. Communication used in work was still verbal and rarely used the available means. A leader's communication patterns with people he or she leads. The ability to communicate at work that can build up the spirit of work. Poor communication can affect employee spirit. The approach used in this research is a descriptive qualitative method in which to collect information and describe it in the study so that it sees one whole entity. Based on the thoughts carried out in this research, communication has a bearing on performance satisfaction, and this means that work satisfaction is influenced by communication. Another factor in influencing vigorous work is work facilities and infrastructure. The leadership factor is influential in delivering messages. A leader must care, participle, and be open to opinions.

Abstract

This paper focuses on interpersonal communication in interfaith families. Interfaith families are smallunits of society whose members are of different religions. Differences are often a source of conflict between husband and wife, including religion. In the way of life of interfaith couples, different opinions about beliefs cause problems. Differences are still unavoidable in families married to different religions. Religious differences can lead to prolonged conflicts. Although different religions, of course, the family has the right to live in peace and happiness as a family in general. However, it is undeniable that interfaith families cannot last long. Therefore, efforts are needed for families to be able to live with each other accepting differences in terms of different religions. Communication is one of the efforts to maintain family harmony. Lack of communication can cause rifts in the household. The purpose of the study was to describe the effectiveness of interpersonal communication for families of different religions. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach. This approach seeks to find problems and solutions in the field. Research results in interpersonal communication are communication between individuals or between groups. Interpersonal communication will be more effective if the atmosphere is equal. That is, there must be a tacit acknowledgement that both parties are equally valuable and valuable. Husbands and wives have something important to contribute. In an interpersonal relationship characterized by equality, disagreement and conflict are seen as an attempt to understand differences. This communication helps in avoiding and reducing various problems and can share knowledge and experiences with family members. There are five general qualities of interpersonal communication effectiveness for interfaith families: 1) Openness, 2) Empathy, 3) Supportive Attitude, 4) Positive Attitude, 5) Equality.

Abstract

This article aimed to describe the education of children in the family based on Colossians 3:21. This study used a sociological criticism approach by conducting a study of the text of Colossians 3:21 to analyze the Bible's view of children's education in the family. The conclusion of this textual study is educating children without violence. Paul reminded fathers in educating children to prioritize love as the basis for education in the family. The love of a father will be reflected in the lives of every child through communication and imprinted in an attitude of obedience and respect for parents. AbstrakArtikel ini bertujuan untuk mendreskripsikan pendidikan anak dalam keluarga berdasarkan Kolose 3:21. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan kritik sosiologis dengan melakukan kajian terhadap teks Kolose 3:21untuk meng-analisis pandangan Alkitab tentang pendidikan anak dalam keluarga. Kesimpulan dalam kajian terhadap teks tersebut adalah mendidik anak tanpa adanya kekerasan. Paulus mengingatkan para ayah dalam mendidik anak-anak lebih mengutamakan kasih sayang sebagai dasar pendidikan dalam keluarga. Kasih sayang seorang ayah akan tercermin dalam kehidupan setiap anak melalui komunikasi dan terpatri dalam sikap taat dan menghormati orang tua.
