Abstract

The land crisis has begun amid rampant deforestation. The condition of the soil began to be arid and did not produce maximum results. The land is seen as an area that must be controlled and utilized as much as possible for prosperity. The land is often a source of dispute between humans. However, humans ignore environmental sustainability. The purpose of writing is to describe Atoni Pah Meto's life attitude, preserving nature by respecting local wisdom. The purpose of this research is to explore the meaning of land according to the life of Atoin Pah Meto. The method used is qualitative. The research approach is a literature review. Atoin Pah Meto is very concerned about everyday life. The values built are a brotherhood, love for the environment, and care. Second, the farming method is how Atoni Pah Meto behaves. Third: personality emerges from challenging working conditions. Personality strives well to achieve a decent life.

Abstract

Theology in Indonesia Context, especially in Toraja culture is a necessity. This paper shows how to conduct theology in the context of Toraja culture. Where with the correct understanding of Christ and his work as true God and true human with theological and cultural positions. So that criticism is a preparation step towards theological reflection. This study provides a response from the Bible's point of view of the position of believers in the middle of culture. To obtain data in accordance with the problems that have been described previously, the authors conducted research with qualitative descriptive research. In general, the approach used is to create a difference between the Gospel and Culture. But theology and the attitude of believers develop thoughts that transform culture. The Gospel and Culture constantly dialogue in finding values that are capable of transforming humans who embrace the culture. The most important thing in establishing a culture and the gospel is to produce peace or hospitality for the people. AbstrakBerteologi Dalam Konteks di Indonesia, terutama dalam budaya Toraja adalah sebuah keniscayaan. Tulisan ini menunjukkan bagaimana berteologi dalam konteks dalam budaya Toraja. Di mana dengan pemahaman yang benar tentang Kristus dan karya-Nya sebagai Allah sejati dan manusia sejati dengan posisi teologi dan budaya. Sehingga kritik adalah langkah persiapan kearah refleksi teologis. Penelitian ini memberikan tanggapan dari sudut pandang Alkitab bagaimana posisi sebagai orang percaya yang ada ditengah kebudayaan.Untuk mendapatkan data sesuai dengan permasalahan yang telah dipaparkan sebelumnya, maka penulis melakukan penelitian dengan jenis penelitian deskritif kualitatif. Pada umumnya pendekatan yang digunakan adalah menciptakan perbedaan antara Injil dan Kebudayaan. Namun Teologi dan sikap orang percaya mengembangkan pemikiran yang mentransformasi budaya. Injil dan Kebudayaan terus-menerus berdialog dalam menemukan nilai yang mampu mengubahkan manusia yang menganut kebudayaan. Hal yang sangat penting dalam menjalin kebudayaan dan injil adalah menghasilkan kedamaian atau hospitalitas bagi umat.

Abstract

Abstract. This study aimed to find solutions to the problems of free association among teenagers starting from theological and sociological analysis. In conducting this study the author used a literature study method on various previous thoughts and studies that have been carried out. The results obtained from this study were that teenagers are often ignored by the church. The church often only pays attention to adult problems. Therefore, in order to overcome the problem of teenagers free association, good cooperation is needed between parents, the church, the government, and the community.Abstrak. Tujuan dari kajian ini adalah untuk mengupayakan solusi dari permasalahan pergaulan bebas di kalangan remaja dengan berangkat dari analisis secara teologis dan sosiologis. Dalam melakukan kajian ini penulis menggunakan metode studi pustaka terhadap berbagai pemikiran dan kajian terdahulu yang pernah dilakukan. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa remaja seringkali diabaikan oleh gereja. Gereja sering hanya menaruh perhatian besar kepada masalah-masalah orang dewasa. Oleh karena itu, dalam rangka mengatasi persoalan pergaulan bebas remaja tersebut diperlukan kerjasama yang baik antara orang tua, gereja, pemerintah, maupun masyarakat.

Abstract

Peran gereja menerapkan pendidikan agama Kristen masih sangat kurang karena ada kebencian dalam keluarga. Tujuan penelitian ini yakni berusaha menumbuhkan perhatian, motivasi dan sikap untuk memperbaiki hubungan antar manusia; serta menajamkan kembali perasaan untuk saling mengasihi dan mempedulikan. Subyek penelitian adalah Jemaat Talenalain rayon 5, Gereja Masehi Injili di Timor (GMIT). Metode yang dipakai adalah kualitatif. Data diambil dengan teknik wawacara dan hasilnya dipaparkan dalam bentuk narasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa orang tua menyadari bahwa PAK adalah pembelajaran paling penting dalam keluarga. Gereja belum maksimal menjadi wadah belajar bersama yang melahirkan keluarga yang berwatak kristiani. Pendidikan Agama Kristen masih sebatas ibadah bersama, perayaan hari raya gereja, mengajar melalui partisipasi keluarga dalam persekutuan, mengajar melalui pastoral-pastoral kepada keluarga Kristen.

Abstract

The problem of mastering learning materials is a teacher's struggle. The selection of the correct method can affect good learning outcomes. However, the learning method does not affect students' mastery of the material. This paper will review the PBL method in the gospel of Matthew 14:21. That is, the reader can see the technique of Jesus in providing a learning process for the disciples. The method used is descriptive qualitative. The writer found that the students were able to identify the problem. The problem the students found was a lack of food. So the solution offered by students is to buy food in the city. However, another problem that arises is the availability of budget and food. However, Jesus asked what they had. There were only five loaves of bread and two fish. Jesus showed that even though the potential is minimal, it will achieve the desired goal if maximised. The students are studying in a problematic situation; there is still a way out. After the learning was evaluated, it was found that the students were successful in the learning process.

Abstract

The problem of rubbish begins with the activity of disposal and burning in temporary landfills. The purpose of this service is to provide learning to the community on how to manage waste into plastic clothing; trash exchanged for rubbish, garbage exchanged for vegetables, recycled bags, eco-bricks for eggs, paving blocks, and paintings from used plastic bags. The methods used for waste management are: reducing, reusing, recycling, replanting, and replacing. Community service produces an important thing that is, it still encourages the community to be actively involved in managing waste. It is necessary to involve village officials to move the community to reduce waste. Moreover, there is training for the community to create jobs from waste recycling.

Abstract

Autistic children are children with certain limitations who must get guidance and support from parents and people who have expertise in therapy for autistic children so that they are not excluded. This research aims to develop a service strategy for children with autism in the East Nusa Tenggara autism service centre. The research method used is a phenomenological method with a qualitative approach. The subject of this research involved four therapists with data analysis techniques, interviews and documentation, data analysis techniques using data analysis techniques. The results showed that autistic children with symptoms selected by several factors, especially prenatal, natal and postnatal factors, were following the initial diagnosis results of psychologists, doctors or psychiatrists and autistic children who were still in the mild autistic category. The assessment carried out at the NTT Autistic Children Service Center has been carried out according to the steps expected, starting from initial recruitment and parents filling in questionnaires and then being assessed by psychologists and doctors to see the level of children's autism. Supportive therapy regarding existing services in autism service centres is behavioural and aquatic to train the concentration and nerves of children with autism to show significant changes.

Abstract

Here the writer conducted a study of the professional work ethic of Christian Education teachers. This study starts from the anxiety of the writer towards the conditions of the teacher's work ethic, who in actually the teachers have now lost their direction in carrying out their duties. In East Indonesia Region many teachers do not fulfill the undergraduate education qualifications. With this problem, the writer examine the professional work ethic from empirical experience. Based on investigations conducted by the writer in this article, then there are two important things that need to be learned, namely first, teachers who have standards or qualifications in teaching. Second, the availability of facilities and infrastructure that support the implementation of teaching and learning processes. Therefore, the search for the work ethic of the Christian Education teacher is related to the activities of the teacher in carrying out the task. Penulis melakukan kajian terhadap etos kerja professional guru Pendidikan Agama Kristen. Kajian ini berangkat dari kegelisahan penulis terhadap kondisi etos kerja guru, di mana para guru sekarang ini telah hilang arah dalam melaksanakan tugas. Daerah Indonesia Timur banyak guru tidak memenuhi kualifikasi pendidikan strata satu. Dengan persoalan itu maka, penulis mengupas tentang etos kerja profesional dari pengalaman empiris. Berdasarkan penyelidikan yang dilakukan oleh penulis dalam artikel ini, maka ada dua hal penting yang perlu dipelajari, yakni pertama, guru yang memeliki standar atau kualifikasi dalam mengajar. Kedua, ketersediaan sarana dan prasarana yang mendukung terlaksanya proses belaajr mengajar. Karena itu,penelusuran tentang etos kerja guru Pendidikan Agama Kristen berkaitan dengan aktivitas guru dalam melaksanakan tugas.

Abstract

Kehadiran pendeta dalam penatalayanan belum sepenuhnya dirasakan jemaat. Pendeta dalam melakukan pelayanan pastoral belum dirasakan dengan maksimal. Hal ini ditengarai karena, pendeta tidak akan mengetahui persoalan jemaat. Pendeta hanya sibuk dengan aktivitas organisatoris ketimbang memperhatikan masalah jemaat. Tulisan ini muncul dari kegelisahan penulis karena minimnya perkunjungan pastoral secara langsung maupun melalui media sosial. Ada anggota jemaat yang bergumul usai di PHK, perjuangan seorang janda, perselingkuhan dan keaktifan jemaat dalam beribadah. Tujuan dari tulisan ini untuk memberikan motivasi kepada pendeta selaku gembala mengoptimalkan pelayanan kepada jemaat. Penelitian ini memakai metode kualitatif pendekatan analisis deskriptif. Seorang pendeta memberikan diri untuk secara aktif mendengar dan mengamati situasi jemaatnya. Pelayanan ini dilakukan melalui visitasi pastoral. Pendeta harus menghargai privasi jemaat. Hal itu terkait dengan masalah yang diceritakan. Pendeta hadir mengenal jemaatnya, bukan hanya pertemuan di gedung gereja. Tetapi ia hadir untuk memberikan solusi terhadap persoalan jemaat.
