Abstract

The metaverse is a new environment in the technology world that offers the same situation as the real world. This world offers meetings without having to face to face. The situation is up-to-date. The Church does not yet have a virtual fellowship format headed for augmented reality. The challenge of this media is the limited signal coverage. The operational cost of procuring equipment to support this service is prohibitive. The researcher used the library study method. This study seeks to explore material related to the metaverse. To delve into the world of the metaverse, its opportunities, and challenges. The Church compiles age-appropriate content but does not omit the message it wants to convey. The Bible can be understood in the local language and culture. The Church Develops an online learning curriculum.

Abstract

Persekutuan Doa Efata Jemaat GMIT Oesapa Barat Kota Kupang memiliki permasalahan yang dihadapi yakni: pertama, belum adanya Pendidikan Agama Kristen Yang Humanis. Kedua, pembentukan perilaku anak dalam ibadah.  Kondisi perilaku anak-anak di kalangan persekutuan doa tidak tertib dalam ibadah Persekutuan doa. Kondisi seperti ini mendatangkan sorotan dari oknum-oknum tertentu menyangkut perilaku anak-anak dalam persekutuan doa tersebut. Metode yang dipakai adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Penting untuk diingat bahwa setiap anak adalah individu yang unik, dan pendekatan pendidikan agama Kristen yang humanis harus memerhatikan kebutuhan, minat, dan perkembangan anak secara holistik. Pengurus membuat grup WhatsApp agar pengajar membagikan video-video yang berkaitan dengan Pendidikan Humanis lewat grup tersebut. Pengajar mengarahkan anak-anak dengan lemah lembut, bukan dengan kekerasan.

Abstract

the increasingly alarming ecological crisis demands efforts to build awareness and concern for the environment, especially among the younger generation of Christians. This study aims to determine the role of Christian Religious Education teachers in shaping a generation of Christians who care about the ecological crisis. Using a qualitative approach with descriptive methods, data collection was conducted through interviews, observations, and filling out questionnaires. The results showed that Christian Religious Education teachers have an important role in shaping a Christian generation that cares about the ecological crisis, which is realized through (a) Integration of ecological material in Christian Religious Education learning, such as the concept of creation, stewardship, and human responsibility towards nature (b) Exemplary teachers in behaving environmentally friendly and educating students to care about the environment (c) Development of environmental awareness-based activities and cleaning activities in the school environment and its surroundings. This study suggests that Christian Religious Education teachers should consistently integrate ecological issues in learning and provide examples of environmentally friendly behavior, as well as develop extracurricular programs that can foster environmental awareness in the Christian generation. The findings of this study confirm the significant contribution of Christian Religious Education teachers in developing ecological awareness in the younger generation of Christians. Abstract

This research examines the culture and traditions of the Sabu tribe through a feminist theological perspective to understand how women are positioned in a social system that is often associated with patriarchy. Although injustice against women is still found in various cultural practices in Indonesia, research findings show that the puru tradition  actually presents the value of equality and respect. Using a descriptive qualitative method, this study found that puru functions as a protection mechanism for women from harassment, prejudice, and immoral acts. This tradition is in line with the Christian teaching of God's just love and respect for human dignity. Through puru, Sabu women gain space to determine their own way of life, develop as a whole person, and enjoy equal rights with men. Thus, women are seen as independent individuals and have control over their existence and future.
