Abstract

The title of this research is: Improving students’ ability on past perfect tense through queue technique (A collaborative classroom action research to the second year students of SMA N 1 Peusangan Selatan). There are two problems of the research namely: How does queue technique increase the students’ ability in mastering past perfect tense to the second year students of SMA N 1 Peusangan Selatan? and how is the students’ motivation when the queue technique applied in teaching past perfect tense to the second year students of SMA N 1 Peusangan Selatan? Based on the research problems, there are two purposes of the research, namely to know the queue technique increases the students’ ability in mastering past perfect tense to the second year students of SMA N 1 Peusangan Selatan and to describe the students’ motivation when the queue technique applied in teaching past perfect tense to the second year students of SMA N 1 Peusangan Selatan. To answer the research questions, the researcher used the Collaborative Classroom Action Research as methodology of the research. The research was conducted at SMA N 1 Peusangan Selatan, which is located in Bireuen District. The subjects of the research were the second year students of SMA N 1 Peusangan Selatan. This class consisted of twenty (20) students. The instruments of the research were tests, observation sheets and questionnaires. In the cycle I, the implementation of queue technique had not reached the predetermined criteria of success. The students’ average score for cycle I was 62.25. In cycle II, the students’ achievements have met the criteria of success. Their average score in cycle II was 73. Therefore, based on the result of collecting data, it could be concluded that the second year students of SMA N 1 Peusangan Selatan could improve their ability when the teacher uses queue technique in teaching process of past perfect tense. Key words: Past perfect tense, Queue technique

Abstract

Pernyataan Kementerian Kehutanan yang mengindikasikan 60 kondisi DAS di Indonesia pada umumnya sudah mengalami kerusakan berat sampai sangat berat. Tidak terkecuali DAS Welang yang berada di WS Welang Rejoso, Kabupaten Pasuruan merupakan salah satu DAS kritis dan DAS prioritas yang harus segera ditangani. Studi dilakukan di DAS Welang Hulu, Kabupaten Pasuruan, Provinsi Jawa Timur. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara melakukan perhitungan debit limpasan permukaan dan laju erosi lahan dengan menggunakan peta penggunaan lahan kondisi eksisting. Setelah itu dilakukan penentuan Tingkat Bahaya Erosi. Langkah selanjutnya dilakukan penentuan arahan penggunaan lahan (fungsi kawasan) dan kelas kemampuan lahan. Upaya konservasi lahan secara vegetatif dilakukan dengan mensimulasi penggunaan lahan. Simulasi dilakukan dengan melakukan penambahan hutan tiap 10 % dari luas keseluruhan DAS Welang. Simulasi ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan luas hutan yang ideal dan dapat menurunkan laju erosi lahan yang terjadi di DAS Welang. Hasil studi menunjukkan bahwa erosi total yang terjadi di DAS Welang Hulu sebesar 107.173,974 mm/ha/tahun. Luas lahan yang mengalami TBE sangat ringan seluas 3399,11 ha (20,88 %), TBE ringan seluas 6269,15 ha (38,51 %), TBE sedang seluas 2880,73 ha (17,69 %), TBE berat seluas 2448,88 ha (15,04 %) dan TBE sangat berat seluas 1282,25 ha (7,88 %). Komposisi penggunaan lahan yang sesuai kondisi DAS Welang Hulu yaitu dengan mengusahakan luas hutan sebesar 50 % dari total luas DAS serta merencanakan penggunaan lahan sesuai dengan fungsinya. Adapun rekomendasi penggunaan lahan yang sesuai dengan kondisi DAS Welang hulu yaitu kawasan lindung 523,451 ha (3,22 %), kawasan penyangga 8870,576 ha (54,49 %), kawasan budidaya tanaman tahunan 3481,994 ha (21,39 %), kawasan budidaya tanaman semusim atau permukiman 616,237 ha (3,79 %), hutan 1218,549 ha (7,48 %), area permukiman 1558,491 ha (9,57 %), dan gedung 10,828 ha (0,07 %).               Kata Kunci : Erosi, Debit Limpasan, MUSLE, SIG

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the forms of language style in the Central Kalimantan folktales by the 10th-grade students of SMAN I Damang Batu and to investigate their implications for literature learning in high schools. The research technique used was qualitative descriptive research with content analysis. Based on the analysis conducted by the author, the research findings revealed the existence of language style in the Central Kalimantan folktales by the 10th-grade students of SMAN I Damang Batu, namely emotive language style with four quotes, connotative meaning with four quotes, hyperbole with four quotes, metaphor with five quotes, and personification with five quotes. Therefore, the dominant language style used in the Central Kalimantan folktales by the 10th-grade students of SMAN I Damang Batu is the metaphor and personification style.

Abstract

The aims of the research are (1) to describe the structure of the pantun in Anwarsani's work identified based on elements such as lines, arrays, rhymes, and stanzas. (2) Describe the style of language used by Anwarsani in his rhymes. (3) Describe the ecological messages contained in Anwarsani's poems of advice, and how the meanings related to concern for the environment, nature conservation, and the importance of maintaining ecosystem harmony are interpreted. This study uses a qualitative approach to describe the structure of the pantun, language style, ecological messages, and eco-poetic significance in Anwarsani's work. This approach allows researchers to understand in depth the characteristics and meaning contained in the rhymes. The research data is in the form of Anwarsani's poems of advice which are analyzed using the text analysis method. Through reading and identifying pantun structures, observing language styles, and extracting ecological messages, researchers can gain a comprehensive understanding of the elements studied.

Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan hal yang sangat penting dan tidak bisa diabaikan. Karena melalui pendidikan, peserta didik akan mendapatkan keluasan pengetahuan. Pengetahuan itu dapat didapatkan melalui berbagai kegiatan. Salah satunya adalah kegiatan literasi membaca. Untuk mensukseskan kegiatan literasi membecaa ini, peserta ddik harus memiliki minat yang kuat. Akan tetapi minat peserta didik dalam hal litearsi membaca masih sangat rendah. Rendahnya minat baca tersebut dipengaruhi oleh berbagai factor intern dan factor ekstern. Salah satu factor intern adalah belum munculnya rasa butuh dan rasa lapar akan membaca. Sedangkan factor ekstern yang mempengaruhi rendahnya minat baca adalah lingkungan sekolah yang kurang mendukung. Oleh karena itu, untuk menumbuhkan minat baca peserta didik adalah dengan menciptakan stimulus yang akan menumbuhkan minat baca peserta didik. Stimulus tersebut adalah dengan pengadaan pojok baca atau perpustakaan mini yang mudah dijangkau oleh peserta didik. Selain mudah dijangkau, pojok baca juga sangat fleksibel karena diletakkan di pojok kelas. Sehingga kegiatan membaca bisa dilakukan setiap saat entah dalam pengawasan pendidik ataupun secara mandiri. Dengan adanya pojok bac aini, diharapkan peserta didik dapat berbudaya literasi membaca sehingga pengetahuan yang dimiliki akan semakin luas.

Abstract

Learning Indonesian for Foreign Speakers (BIPA) is an important aspect in supporting the spread and understanding of Indonesian culture internationally. In the context of BIPA learning innovation, Prof. Uli Kozok from the University of Hawai'i at Manoa has implemented two forms of learning that emphasize two main approaches. According to Prof. Uli Kozok has two forms of BIPA learning, namely: (1) Synchronous, carried out using direct communication technology such as TV, Zoom and Skype. Abstract

Anemia di Indonesia masih merupakan salah satu dari masalah kesehatan utama. Anemia pada ibu hamil disebabkan adanya peningkatan volume darah selama kehamilan untuk pembentukan plasenta, janin, dan cadangan zat besi dalam ASI. Anemia pada ibu hamil akan meningkatkan risiko terjadinya perdarahan, kelahiran prematur, bayi berat lahir rendah (BBLR). Pemberian tablet tambah darah setiap hari selama kehamilan dapat menurunkan resiko anemia maternal 70% dan devisiensi 57%, oleh karena itu mengonsumsi suplementasi tablet zat besi (Fe) sangat penting dilakukan oleh ibu hamil. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan sikap ibu hamil tentang pentingnya mengonsumsi tablet tambah darah (Fe) untuk mencegah terjadinya anemia pada kehamilan. Sasaran dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah ibu hamil di Wilayah Kerja Pustu Kelurahan Boneoge Kecamatan Banawa Kabupaten Donggala. Pengabdian masyarakat ini menggunakan kerangka pemecahan masalah yang pelaksanaan kegiatannya meliputi persiapan, sosialisasi, dan pelaksanaan. Hasil yang diperoleh dari 22 responden, sebelum dilakukan pendampingan, pada aspek pengetahuan terdapat 5 (23%) ibu hamil yang memiliki pengetahuan baik dan 17 (77%) pengetahuan kurang. Pada aspek sikap sebelum dilakukan pendampingan, terdapat 2 (9%) yang setuju dan sebanyak 20 (91%) yang tidak setuju. Setelah dilakukan pendampingan selama enam minggu semua ibu hamil sebanyak 22 (100%) telah memiliki pengetahuan dan sikap yang baik. Kesimpulan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dan sikap pada ibu hamil dalam mengonsumsi tablet Fe. Saran pada ibu hamil agar selalu rutin mengonsumsi table Fe dan teratur memeriksakan kehamilan sehingga jika terjadi komplikasi dapat dideteksi secara dini.

Abstract

Infancy is a golden period as well as a critical period of growth and development, called the golden age because infancy is very short and cannot be repeated. Children's health problems are one of the main problems in the health sector currently occurring in Indonesia. The level of children's health reflects the health level of the nation. Based on these problems, children's health problems are prioritized in nation development planning (Roesli, 2016). Abstract

Early Childhood Education (PAUD) is an important stage in children's development that has a long-term impact on their future. Therefore, the quality of education at an early age must be a top priority. One way to improve the quality of PAUD is through strengthening the capacity of educators. Competent and empowered educators can create a conducive learning environment and support children's holistic development. This article examines the importance of strengthening the capacity of PAUD educators in realizing quality education in a holistic and integrative manner. Strengthening the capacity of PAUD educators involves providing the training, resources and support necessary to increase the competency and professionalism of educators. Educators equipped with the right knowledge and skills can better implement an integrative holistic approach. This means that educators are able to integrate various aspects of children's development, including physical, cognitive, emotional, social and moral, in daily learning activities. Children also get a more comprehensive and balanced learning experience, which supports their optimal development.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the values of struggle contained in a film and find out the implications for literature learning in junior high schools. This research focuses on the values of struggle, willingness to sacrifice, unity, respect, patience and the spirit of never giving up, and cooperation. This research uses a qualitative approach, a research approach in which data is collected in the form of words, images, and not numbers. A qualitative approach is used to describe the value of struggle in the film Pencil Bridge directed by Hasto Broto and its implications for literature learning in junior high schools. The data source for this research is the film Pencil Bridge, directed by Hasto Broto. Researchers found 53 values of struggle in the film Pencil Bridge and have outlined their implications for literature learning in junior high schools. The value of struggle that is most often found is the value of struggle of respect consisting of 16 data, followed by the value of struggle for being willing to sacrifice consisting of 14 data, and the value of struggle for patience and the spirit of never giving up consisting of 10 data, while the value of struggle that is least found is the value of the cooperative struggle consists of 8 data and the value of the united struggle is found in 5 data. The film Pencil Bridge is suitable to be used as a medium for teaching literature in junior high schools because the film Pencil Bridge, directed by Hasto Broto, contains exemplary values, especially the value of struggle.
