Abstract

The quality of nutrition during early stages profoundly influences an individual's health as they approach reproductive age. Adequate nutritional intake, particularly through complementary breastfeeding (MP-ASI), plays a crucial role in this regard. Information about MP-ASI, acquired through sensory perception, notably sight and hearing, is essential for effective implementation. However, many mothers lack sufficient knowledge in this area, which can impact child nutrition adversely. This study aims to determine the description of mothers' knowledge of complementary breastfeeding and the dietary status of children aged 6 to 12 months in the Bonto Bangun Community Health Center, Bulukumba Regency. Utilizing a cross-sectional research design, data were collected from a sample of 67 individuals through incidental sampling and questionnaire administration. The findings reveal that a significant portion of mothers (70.37%) lacked adequate knowledge regarding complementary breastfeeding practices, leading to suboptimal child dietary status. This deficiency in knowledge is attributed to low levels of education among respondents and insufficient guidance from healthcare providers on complementary feeding practices. Addressing these gaps in maternal knowledge and healthcare provider training is imperative for improving child nutrition outcomes in Bulukumba and similar regions. By enhancing awareness and education regarding complementary breastfeeding practices, healthcare interventions can effectively promote optimal child nutrition and development.

Abstract

Caulerpa sp atau biasa disebut anggur laut merupakan alga laut yang tergolong dalam kelas Chorophyceae. Lamun merupakan tumbuhan berbunga (Angiospermae) yang mudah beradaptasi di perairan yang memiliki salinitas yang tinggi di dalam air. Salah satu permasalahan yang di hadapi yaitu pengembangan Caulerpa sp disulawesi selatan, sampai saat ini belum diketahui dengan pasti lokasi budidaya atau sebaran anggur laut (Caulerpa sp). Pengambilan data Caulerpa sp dan Lamun menggunakan metode transek kuadran. Ditemukan dua jenis lamun yaitu Enhalus acoroides dan Thalassia hemprichii. Sedangkan jenis anggur laut yaitu Caulerpa lentillifera dan Caulerpa racemosa. Nilai kerapatan jenis Enhalus acoroides yaitu 63,2 ind/m² dan Thalassia hemprichii yaitu 33,92 ind/m². jenis Enhalus acoroides memiliki kerapatan tertinggi yaitu pada stasiun 1 sebesar 34,24 ind/m² dan stasiun 2 sebesar 28,98 ind/m², kerapatan relatif Caulerpa racemosa yaitu pada stasiun 1 sebesar 83,50% dan stasiun 2 sebesar 68,37%. Caulerpa lentillifera dengan nilai kerapatan relatif pada stasiun 1 16,50% dan stasiun 2 sebesar 31,63%. Nilai kerapatan total jenis lamun sebesar 97,12 ind/m² dengan kondisi kerapatan lamun termasuk dalam skala 3 dengan nilai kerapatan 75-125 ind/m² (agak rapat). Kerapatan relatif anggur laut jenis Caulerpa racemosa sebesar 75,94% dan Caulerpa lentillifera sebesar 24,06%. Hubungan kerapatan jenis lamun terhadap kerapatan anggur laut memiliki korelasi derajat sempurna dengan nilai -923 (0,81 sampai dengan 1,00) dan bentuk hubungannya adalah negatif yang berarti semakin tinggi kepadatan jenis lamun, maka semakin rendah kepadatan relatif anggur laut begitu pula sebaliknya. Hasil analisis uji t diperoleh nilai Sig. sebesar 0,077 > 0,05 (alpha 5%) yang menunjukkan kerapatan jenis lamun tidak berpengaruh terhadap kerapatan relatif anggur laut. Caulerpa sp or commonly called sea grapes is a marine algae belonging to the Chorophyceae class. Seagrasses are flowering plants (Angiosperms) that are easily adaptable in waters that have high salinity in the water. (Audy & Gosari, 2012). One of the problems faced is the development of Caulerpa sp in South Sulawesi, until now the exact location of the cultivation or distribution of sea grapes (Caulerpa sp) has not been known. Caulerpa sp and seagrass data were collected using the quadrant transect method (Litaay, 2014). Two types of seagrass were found, namely Enhalus acoroides and Thalassia hemprichii. While the types of sea grapes are Caulerpa lentillifera and Caulerpa racemosa. The density value for Enhalus acoroides is 63.2 ind/m² and for Thalassia hemprichii is 33.92 ind/m². the Enhalus acoroides type had the highest density, namely at station 1 of 34.24 ind/m² and station 2 of 28.98 ind/m², the relative density of Caulerpa racemosa was at station 1 of 83.50% and station 2 of 68.37%. Caulerpa lentillifera with a relative density value at station 1 of 16.50% and station 2 of 31.63%. The total density value of seagrass species is 97.12 ind/m² with seagrass density conditions included in a scale of 3 with a density value of 75-125 ind/m² (rather dense). The relative density of Caulerpa racemosa grapes is 75.94% and Caulerpa lentillifera is 24.06%. The relationship between the density of seagrass species and the density of sea grapes has a perfect degree correlation with a value of -923 (0.81 to 1.00) and the opposite form is negative, which means that the higher the density of seagrass species, the lower the relative density of sea grapes and vice versa. The results of the t test analysis obtained the value of Sig. of 0.077 > 0.05 (5% alpha) which indicates the density of seagrass species does not affect the relative density of sea grapes.

Abstract

Kualitas air laut merupakan aspek kritis dalam memahami keberlanjutan lingkungan maritim, serta aspek pemanfaatan ruang perkotaan Poso yang tepat terhadap sungai Poso yang mengalir ke laut memiliki signifikansi yang besar dalam menjaga keseimbangan ekosistem perairan dan lingkungan pesisir. Kondisi ini mendorong dilakukannya pengkajian terhadap kualitas air laut dan identifikasi pemanfaatan ruang pada perkotaan Poso dan sekitarnya, dari pengambilan sampel pada muara sungai terbesar di perkotaan Poso dan sampel pada perairan pesisir mangrove yang dianggap sebagai sumber ekosistem. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan analisis mendalam terhadap kualitas air laut dengan menggabungkan parameter fisika, kimia, dan biologi. Menggunakan metode deskriptif eksploratif dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif, dengan 4 (empat) parameter kunci, penelitian menghasilkan Indeks Kualitas Air Laut dengan kategori nilai “sedang”. Dan hasil identifikasi menghasilkan pemanfaatan ruang dengan penggunaan lahan permukiman dan sawah yang memiliki interaksi paling dekat dengan sungai Poso. Selatan. Seawater quality is a critical aspect of understanding maritime environmental sustainability, also aspect of the proper utilization Poso’s urban space against the Poso River that flows into the sea has great significance in maintaining the balance of aquatic ecosystem and coastal environment. This condition prompted an assessment of seawater quality and identification of space utilization in Poso urban and surounding area. From sampling at the estuary of the largest river in urban Poso and sample in mangrove coastal water that are considered as a source of ecosystem. This research aimed to analyse in depth of water quality with combaining  physical, chemical and biological parameters.This research used  an exploratory descriptive method with a qualitative and quantitative approach, with 4 (four) key parameters, the research resulted in a Marine Water Quality Index with a "medium" value category and the identification result produced spatial utilization with residential land use and rice field that have the closest interaction with the Poso river.

Abstract

Anggur laut, atau dikenal sebagai Caulerpa racemosa, adalah salah satu jenis alga hijau yang hidup meluas di beberapa perairan Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengumpulkan data tentang pola penyebaran anggur laut di perairan Pantai Puntondo, Kabupaten Takalar, Sulawesi Selatan. Metode pengambilan data menggunakan transek garis sepanjang 100 meter ke arah laut dengan bingkai kuadrat 1 meter, dan setiap kuadrat dibagi menjadi 16 kotak kecil berukuran 25 cm. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Caulerpa racemosa mendominasi di tiga stasiun penelitian. Stasiun 1 memiliki 663 individu dengan persentase 83%, stasiun 2 dengan 626 individu atau 76%, dan stasiun 3 dengan 139 individu dan persentase 80%. Sedangkan spesies Caulerpa lentillifera juga terdeteksi, tetapi dengan jumlah lebih rendah. Analisis menggunakan Indeks Morisita menunjukkan bahwa pola sebaran Caulerpa racemosa bersifat mengelompok. Hal ini mungkin dipengaruhi oleh respons terhadap perubahan cuaca dan musim. Penutupan relatif Caulerpa racemosa mencapai nilai tertinggi, yaitu 80%, sementara Caulerpa lentillifera hanya mencapai 20%. Frekuensi relatif Caulerpa racemosa juga lebih tinggi, sebesar 53%, dibandingkan dengan Caulerpa lentillifera sebesar 47%. Penelitian ini memberikan gambaran yang lebih jelas tentang dominansi dan pola penyebaran Caulerpa racemosa di Pantai Puntondo. Hasilnya dapat menjadi dasar untuk pemahaman lebih lanjut tentang ekologi anggur laut dan konservasi sumber daya alam di perairan tersebut. Sea weed, otherwise known as Caulerpa racemosa, are a type of green algae that live widely in several regions of Indonesia. This research aims to collect data about the distribution pattern of sea grapes in the waters of Puntondo Beach, Takalar Regency, South Sulawesi. The data collection method uses a 100 meter line transect towards the sea with a square frame of 1 meter, and each square is divided into 16 small squares measuring 25 cm. The results showed that Caulerpa racemosa dominated at the three research stations. Station 1 has 663 individuals with a percentage of 83%, station 2 with 626 individuals or 76%, and station 3 with 139 individuals and a percentage of 80%. Meanwhile, the Caulerpa lentillifera species was also detected, but in lower numbers. Analysis using the Morisita Index shows that the distribution pattern of Caulerpa racemosa is clustered. This may be influenced by responses to changes in weather and seasons. The relative cover of Caulerpa racemosa reached the highest value, namely 80%, while Caulerpa lentillifera only reached 20%. The relative frequency of Caulerpa racemosa was also higher, at 53%, compared to Caulerpa lentillifera at 47%. This research provides a clearer picture of the dominance and distribution pattern of Caulerpa racemosa on Puntondo Beach. The results can serve as a basis for further understanding of the ecology of sea grapes and conservation of natural resources in these waters.

Abstract

Udang Vannamei litopenaeus vannamei berkembang pesat dengan teknologi intensif sehingga dapat ditebar dengan kepadatan yang lebih tinggi dan memiliki sintasan serta produksi yang tinggi. Ekstrak bawang putih dapat meningkatkan hematologis udang Vannamei, efisiensi pemanfaatan pakan, kelulusan hidup, dan kualitas air yang baik untuk mendapatkan dosis yang tepat dari ekstrak bawang putih untuk menunjang imunitas udang Vannamei. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan April sampai bulan Juni 2023 di Balai Perikanan Budidaya Air payau Takalar. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) dan setiap faktor diulang sebanyak 3 kali. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan hemosit udang awal sebesar 4.56 x 10.6 rata hemosit akhir 1,00 x 10 7 - 2,57 x 107, efisiensi pakan yang terbaik sebesar 5.08% nilai 0.44 (FCR). Dosis yang terbaik 10% ekstrak bawang putih dari 1 kg pakan, total kelulusan hidup sebesar 91% (41 ekor) dari total udang Vannamei pada perlakuan B.10% (45 Ekor). Vannamei shrimp Litopenaeus vannamei is growing rapidly with intensive technology, so it can be stocked at higher density, and it  has high survival and production. Whether  garlic extract improve the hermatology of Vannamei shrimp, feed utilization efficiency, survival and good water quality, to get the right dose of garlic extract to support Vannamei shrimp immunity. This research was carried out in April-June 2023, at the Takalar Brackish Water Aquaculture Fisheries Center. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) and each factor was repeated 3 times. 1,00 x 10 7 - 2.57 x 107 , the best feed efficiency is 5.08% value 0.44 (FCR), the best dose is 10% garlic extract from 1 kg of feed, the total survival rate is 91% (41 heads) of the total shrimp Vannamei on treatment B.10% (45 head).

Abstract

Lama penyinaran merupakan faktor eksternal/sinyal lingkungan yang dapat mempengaruhi pertumbuhan, sintasan, dan kadar albumin ikan gabus (Channa striata). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan lama penyinaran dengan periode waktu berbeda terhadap pertumbuhan, sintasan, dan kadar albumin ikan gabus pada bak terkontrol.  Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan rancangan penelitian Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL). Perlakuan berupa penyinaran yang berbeda yaitu perlakuan A (24 T; 0 G), B (18 T; 6 G), C (12 T; 12 G), D (6T: 18 G) dan perlakuan E (0T; 24 G). Penelitian ini dilakukan selama 40 hari dengan 3 ulangan.  Parameter uji penelitian ini yaitu pertumbuhan, sintasan, dan kadar albumin.  Penelitian ini dilaksananakan di bulan Juni tahun 2023 bertempat di Balai Besar Industri Hasil Perkebunan Makassar. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pertumbuhan perlakuan D dan E tidak berbeda nyata namun berbeda nyata dengan  pertumbuhan perlakuan A, B, dan C. Kondisi terang–gelap berpengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan, sintasan, dan kadar albumin  ikan gabus. Untuk pertumbuhan dan sintasan, perlakuan terbaik terdapat pada perlakuan D dan perlakuan E masing-masing  menghasilkan nilai  pertumbuhan berat (9,46 gram) dan (10,67 gram), berat harian (0,2365 gram/hari) dan (0,2667 gram/hari), pertumbuhan panjang D (12,08 cm),  dan E (12,42 cm) dengan pertumbuhan panjang harian (30,20 %) dan (31,05%). cm/hari), dan sintasan masing-masing sebesar  93%. Dan 95%. Untuk kadar albumin terbaik diperoleh pada perlakuan A sebesar 3,90 % The length of irradiation is an external/environmental signal that can affect growth, survival, and albumin content of cork fish (Channa striata). This study aimed to determine the length of irradiation with different time period on growth, survival, and albumin content of cork fish in controlled tank. This study used experimental method with complete randomized design (CRD). The treatment in the form of different irradiation, namely treatment A (24 T; 0 G), B (18 T; 6 G), C (12 T; 12 G), D (6T: 18 G) and treatment E (0T; 24 G) . This research was conducted for 40 days with 3 replication. The test parameters of this study were growth, survival, and albumin levels. This research was carried out in June 2023 at the Makassar Plantation Product Industry Center. The result showed that the growth in treatments D and E is not significantly different, but significantly different from the growth in treatments A, B, and C. Light-dark conditions has a significant effect on growth, survival, and albumin levels of snakehead fish. For growth and survival, the best treatment is in treatment D and treatment E each producing weight growth values (9.46 grams) and (10.67 grams), daily weight (0.2365 grams/day) and (0.2667 gram/day), length growth D (12.08 cm), and E (12.42 cm) with daily length growth (30.20%) and (31.05%). cm/day), and survival rates are 93%, respectively. And 95%. The best albumin content is obtained in treatment A of 3.90%

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kualitas garam dengan menggunakan produksi teknik geomembran dan konvensional di Desa Kolaka. Metode yang digunakan untuk uji kandungan NaCl menggunakan metode Tetrasi Argentometri uji AgNO3 0,1N dan K2CrO4 pada UPT Laboratorium Eksakta Univ Kristen Artha Wacana Kupang, Sedangkan Uji kandungan logam Ca, Pb, dan Cu menggunakan metode AAS Spektometri pada Laboratorium Terpadu Universitas Nusa Cendana Kupang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kadar NaCl pada sampel air dan garam pada teknik geomembran maupun konvensional adalah sebesar (air geomembran; 23,47%, air konvensional; 9,75%, garam geomembran; 75,03%, garam konvensional; 72,60%), sedangkan kadar kandungan logamnya adalah; Kalsium (air geomembran; 48,6 ppm, air konvensional; 79,0 ppm, garam geomembran; 44,03 ppm, garam konvensional; 24,0 ppm), Timbal (air geomembran; 1,5 ppm, air konvensional; 1,1 ppm, garam geomembran; 0,050 ppm, garam konvensional; 0,045 ppm), serta Tembaga (air geomembran; 0,480 ppm, air konvensional; 0,360 ppm, garam geomembran; 0,215 ppm, garam konvensional; 0,018 ppm). Berdasarkan hasil di atas, maka disimpulkan bahwa kualitas garam produksi dengan teknik geomembran dan konvensional masih dibawah standar terendah (K3 : 80-90 %) yang ditetapkan dalam SNI 3556-2016. This study aimed to analyse the salt quality using geomembrane and conventional technique production in Kolaka Village. The method used to test the NaCl content was argentometric titration method, testing AgNO3 0,1N and K2CrO4 at UPT Exact Laboratory Artha Wacana Christian University Kupang, while testing for metal content of Ca, Pb, and Cu using the AAS spectometry method at the integrated Laboratory Nusa Cendana University Kupang. The result showed that the NaCl content in the water and salt sample in the geomembrane and conventional technique was (geomembrane water; 23,47%, conventional water; 9,75%, geomembrane salt; 75,03%, conventional salt; 72,60%. While the level of metal content was: Calcium (geomembran water; 48,6 ppm, conventional water; 79,0 ppm, geomembran salt; 44,03 ppm, conventional salt; 24,0 ppm), Lead (geomembran water; 1,5 ppm, conventional water; 1,1 ppm, geomembran salt; 0,050 ppm, conventional salt; 0,045 ppm), also cuprum (geomembrane water; 0,480 ppm, conventional water; 0,360 ppm, geomembrane salt; 0,215 ppm, conventional salt; 0,018 ppm). Based on the resul above, it can be concluded that the quality of salt production with  geomembrane and conventional technique is still below the lowest standard (K3: 80-90 %) stipulated in SNI 3556-2016.

Abstract

Studi ini meneliti pengaruh implementasi P5 terhadap pengembangan karakter Siswa Menengah pertama. Akibatnya, memiliki P5 dapat membantu siswa mengembangkan sifat karakter yang lebih baik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memahami efek implementasi P5 pada siswa SMPN 4 Narmada. Pendidikan adalah landasan pembangunan nasional, dan inovasi seperti Kurikulum Merdeka bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pencapaian pendidikan di Indonesia dengan memberikan panduan kepada guru dan sekolah. Studi ini mengevaluasi pelaksanaan kurikulum Merdeka, yaitu proyek Pancasila (P5) di SMPN 4 Narmada. Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan efektivitas P5 dalam mendorong kreativitas siswa dan mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang berkontribusi. Studi ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus untuk meneliti secara mendalam implementasi P5 di sekolah-sekolah. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi partisipatif, wawancara langsung dengan guru, siswa, dan administrator sekolah. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif, kualitatif menggunakan reduksi data, analisis data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, secara umum, P5 telah memberikan kontribusi positif dalam mendorong kreativitas siswa. Namun, masih ada beberapa aspek yang perlu dipertimbangkan, seperti penyempurnaan perencanaan, material pengayaan, dan ketersediaan fasilitas. Selain itu, penelitian ini mengidentifikasi beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi keberhasilan pelaksanaan P5. Diharapkan penelitian ini dapat memberikan rekomendasi bagi sekolah, guru, dan siapa pun yang bekerja untuk meningkatkan efektivitas penerapan kurikulum Merdeka dalam konteks P5.

Abstract

Silage is a feedstuff processing technique that aims to preserve the feedstuff in fresh form by storing it in an airtight or anaerobic space. This silage making training was carried out in the Safahu farmer group, village. Tololako, Kempo district. dompu, this training aims to provide understanding to the public regarding the preservation of high quality fresh feed ingredients. The method used is by socializing demonstrations and making palkan silage, the socialization process takes 20 days to evaluate. Evaluation of the resulting silage product includes physical observations starting from the texture of the aroma and the level of palatability of livestock. The physical quality of the silage produced is quite good, marked by a slightly sour smell, slightly sour and slightly sweet taste, brownish green color, dry texture and feels soft. following the stages of making silage. This is evidenced by the feedback from the participants who asked questions during the training to find out more about making silage.

Abstract

This research aims to know the students’ perspective on TikTok as a tool for autonomous learners. The researcher used a qualitative case study approach with five voluntarily participating students of the English department of Institut Agama Islam Darul A’mal Lampung as the participants. An in-depth semi-structured interview was applied as the data collection technique. The theme-based analysis was used in this study. The finding showed that 1) TikTok was good to improve the students speaking ability by providing access to a variety of educational videos, which can teach students different pronunciation and phrases; 2) TikTok motivated students to learn the English language. TikTok has helped students with learning English. It's an entertaining way to practice their pronunciation and listening comprehension skills, so they can get a better understanding of different cultures. It helps them stay motivated to continue learning English; 3) TikTok encourages students to learn grammar by watching video clips of native speakers about grammar topics, such as filling in the blanks and completing sentences, joining a study group, or challenging for feedback from peers. However, the researcher found the negative aspect include being exposed to inappropriate content, and the content on TikTok tends to move along quickly.
