Abstract

Penelitian ini menginvestigasi efektivitas media instruksional PowerPoint dalam meningkatkan hasil pembelajaran bahasa Arab bagi siswa kelas X di MAN 1 Cirebon. Tujuan eksplisit dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dampak penggunaan media PowerPoint terhadap hasil belajar bahasa arab siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan 4 tahapan yaitu perencanaan, pengamatan, tindakan, dan refleksi. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini terdiri dari 3 siklus. Adapun teknik pengumpulan datanya menggunakan observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi. Teknis analisis data yang digunakan adalah statistik deskriptif dengan indikator keberhasilan siswa sebesar >80%.  Temuan menunjukkan kemajuan signifikan dalam hasil pembelajaran rata-rata siswa selama tiga siklus implementasi. Dimulai dari nilai dasar sebesar 65,4 pada siklus pertama, skor rata-rata meningkat menjadi 72,3 pada siklus kedua, dan lebih lanjut naik menjadi 80,2 pada siklus ketiga. Peningkatan kumulatif sebesar 14,8 poin dari siklus pertama hingga siklus ketiga menegaskan efikasi PowerPoint dalam meningkatkan kinerja siswa dalam bahasa Arab. Selain dari skor rata-rata, penelitian ini mengamati peningkatan jumlah siswa yang memenuhi atau melebihi Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM). Penggunaan PowerPoint berkorelasi dengan peningkatan yang signifikan dalam jumlah siswa yang berhasil menyelesaikan kursus bahasa, sebagaimana tergambar dalam grafik progresi selama tiga siklus. Peningkatan ini, mencapai 53%, mencerminkan dampak positif PowerPoint dalam mencapai KKM dalam pendidikan bahasa Arab.

Abstract

The formulation of the Five Pillars of Islam, widely accepted by the majority of Muslims, is not upheld by the Rifa‘iyah sect, who claim that there is only one such pillar. This obvious divergence from the majority view is strongly opposed by the leading religious organizations and has soured the social interactions between Rifa‘iyah and non-Rifa‘iyah communities in Indonesia. This article aims to understand: (1) the nature of the controversy surrounding the single pillar of Islam in Rifa‘iyah belief; (2) the factors that provoke this controversy; (3) the social impact of this controversy on Indonesian society. This research employs a qualitative methodology, with primary data sourced from the writings of Kiai Ahmad Rifa‘i and interviews with several Rifa‘iyah clerics. Findings show the difference is nominal, with faith testimony as the core and others as complements. However, misinterpretations and prejudices have fueled hidden conflicts between Rifa‘iyah and non-Rifa‘iyah communities. This study highlights the value of intellectual diversity in Islamic scholarship and provides practical recommendations to reduce social tensions, including promoting interfaith dialogue, integrating diverse theological perspectives into education, and fostering collaborative community activities. It fosters a more tolerant understanding of Islam in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the psychological conditions of adolescent children in the development of learning English speaking. The problem studied is the factors that influence the development of English learning in teenagers and its impact on their psychology. The research method used is literature study by searching for and reviewing relevant previous research. The research results show that the psychological condition of adolescent children plays an important role in learning English speaking, especially in terms of motivation, attitude and self-confidence. These findings become a reference for teachers to understand students' psychological conditions and facilitate the learning process in class. Apart from that, this research is also useful for students to overcome difficulties in learning English and for other researchers as a contribution to further understanding of the psychology of English learning among teenagers.

Abstract

The relationship between Islam and science remains a critical issue, particularly within the institutional transformation of Islamic higher education (PTKI) in Indonesia, where universities face the challenge of digitalization while maintaining their religious-epistemological identity. This study examined the strategies of UIN Siber Syekh Nurjati Cirebon to integrate Islamic and scientific knowledge. Using a qualitative methodology, data were collected through in-depth interviews, document analysis, and field observations with faculty, administrators, and students. The findings revealed four strategies: (1) a dialogical and dialectical approach that maintained epistemological integrity between Islam and science; (2) integration of ethics-based knowledge grounded in maqasid al-shariah; (3) an interdisciplinary curriculum combining Islamic and scientific disciplines; and (4) innovations contextualized in locality within cultural and religious traditions. The research proposed the “Muhsin Sejati” framework, an innovative model that distinguishes itself from earlier integration theories by uniquely grounding technological advancements in ethical and spiritual values. This model supported the development of graduates who were technically proficient, ethically responsible, and spiritually conscious. The research contributed to the theory of integrated Islamic education by operationalizing abstract concepts into institutional practices and offers global insights into value-driven educational models. Further studies are recommended to investigate the scalability and long-term effectiveness of the Muhsin Sejati model in various educational contexts.

Abstract

Learning essay writing skills is considered less interesting and boring for students so that students are less interested in learning essay writing skills. However, using interesting learning methods can be the solution. One of them is by using the quantum writer learning method. This research aims to improve students' learning of writing skills by using the quantum writer learning method for students. This research was conducted using literature review, by reading various articles, journals, and other publications related to the research topic. Article search is carried out using an accredited online database, namely Google Scholar. In the search for articles, the researcher limited the literature from 2014-2022. The keywords used are "inysa' writing skills", "quantum writer", "disruptive era 4.0". Based on the search results through Google Scholar using these keywords and after filtering by criteria, out of 20 articles found, only 12 articles are relevant. The results of this study are 1) The quantum writer learning method can be used as an alternative learning method, especially in learning essay writing skills because the two are interconnected. 2) To implement the quantum writer model to improve students' writing skills, there are stages that must be done by teachers. 3) Quantum writer learning method has a great influence on students' writing skills. 4) The level of students' writing ability using the quantum writer method is included in the category of good or quite effective.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas tentang penerapan metode REBT dalam menangani toxic mindset pada siswa SMP 2 Gebang. Penerapan metode REBT dalam menangani toxic relationship pada siswa SMP 2 Gebang yaitu dengan menggunakan teknik kognitif yang dapat merubah cara berpikir siswa yang mana terdapat beberapa tahap yaitu: tahap pengajaran, tahap persuasif, tahap konfrontasi, tahap pemberian tugas. Teknik Emotif yang dapat membantu merubah emosi yang memiliki beberapa teknik yaitu: teknik sosiodrama, teknik self modelling, teknik assertive training, teknik imitasi. Serta Teknik Behaviourostik yang dapat membantu merubah prilaku negatif dengan beberapa teknik di dalamnya yaitu: teknik reinforement (penguatan), teknik sosial modeling (pemodelan sosial), teknik live models (mode kehidupan nyata. Dimana yang kita ketahui bahwa konsep REBT itu sendiri yaitu mengubah sikap, persepsi, cara berpikir dari konseli yang irasional menjadi rasional, menghilangkan gangguan emosional yang dapat merusak diri. Ketika pengaplikasian dalam sebuah kasus nyata yang terjadi, teknik REBT bisa digunakan dengan diterapkan melalui konseling individu, dengan mempertimbangkan, menganalisa lebih dalam permasalahan yang dialami konseli kemudian menyesuaikan teknik seperti apa yang sesuai dengan permasalahan tersebut

Abstract

Lingkungan pendidikan di SMA Plus Pagelaran Cisalak Subang, masih terdapat kebutuhan mendalam untuk memahami bagaimana konsep diri positif dan negatif mempengaruhi tingkat rasa percaya diri siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui konsep diri terhadap rasa percaya diri siswa SMA Plus Pagelaran Cisalak Subang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif metode deskriptif, yang memberikan kerangka yang jelas untuk mengumpulkan data dan menganalisis data. Hasil penelitian yang didapat menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh hubungan yang positif antara konsep diri positif dan rasa percaya diri siswa SMA Plus Pagelaran Cisalak Subang, siswa yang secara konsisten memiliki pandangan positif terhadap kondisi fisik (44,4%), penampilan (44,4%), dan kesehatan (44,4%) cenderung memiliki tingkat rasa percaya diri yang lebih tinggi. Aspek sosial, moral, dan dukungan keluarga juga berperan penting dalam memengaruhi rasa percaya diri, siswa yang merasa aktif dalam kegiatan sosial (66,7%), memiliki sikap empati (66,7%), dan merasa dicintai serta mendapat dukungan dari keluarga (66,7% dan 44,4% secara berurutan) memiliki kecenderungan yang lebih tinggi untuk memiliki rasa percaya diri yang kuat.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the power psychology of leaders in IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon in improving human resource performance management through staffing policies from 2015 to 2023. Through a Qualitative-Descriptive approach with a Case Study method, several data were obtained: (1) There were differences in the appointment of officials within the IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon environment between the initial period and the second period under the leadership of Rector S. In the first period, the appointment of officials was based on input from Baperjakat (Position and Rank Consideration Board) established by Rector's Decree No. 73/In.14/R/Kp.07.6/03/2015, while in the second period, the Rector relied more on the selection mechanism through the Selection Committee's decree; (2) The power psychology of leadership in higher education institutions plays a significant role in the appointment of officials within the IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon environment. As a result, there are several less positive tendencies in the appointment of officials in the environment as follows: (a) Placement of officials not based on qualifications, competencies, career experience, and human resource career levels; (b) Placement of officials violating applicable laws; (c) Lack of vigilance and precision in appointing officials; (d) Lack of appreciation for the performance of high-performing officials in previous periods; and (e) Potential nepotism in appointing employees; (3) Several proposed strategies and techniques to minimize the absolute power of management include: (a) Policies should be bottom-up, not top-down; (b) Top leadership's psychological control over policies that are not pro-quality; (c) conducting need assessment; (d) support from top leadership through other managerial education and training; and (e) improving the qualification system.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the implications of getting up early and praying at dawn for students' lives to increase learning productivity. The subjects in this research were 16 IAIN students who routinely got up early and prayed morning prayers in congregation at the mosque. The research instrument is observation and in-depth interviews with research subjects. The results of the research show that the quality of waking up early and performing morning prayers has a positive influence on students' daily lives. Then the subjects felt the benefits of getting up early and praying at dawn in daily life, especially in terms of respect for time, health and clarity of thinking. Subjects become more appreciative of time and their ability in time management increases. Students' daily activities become more varied, controlled, and every movement becomes more meaningful because every morning begins with a feeling of comfort in studying and the intention to worship in carrying out daily activities.
