Abstract

Ilmu pengetahuan adalah hasil konstruksi manusia yang sangat bergantung pada siapa yang menciptanya. Ia bukanlah tidak berjenis kelamin. Ia melayani dan menguatkan nilai-nilai sosial dan konsep-konsep yang dibuat oleh penciptanya sendiri. Ketika ia tergenggam erat di tangan laki-laki, maka bias dipastikan pengalaman perempuan tidak akan menjadi sumber pengetahuan. Perempuan hanya akan menjadi objek telaah penelitian, termasuk dalam konteks ini, ilmu Psikologi. Penelitian ini akan menelaah secara kritis konsep Penis Envy Sigmund Freud yang ditenggarai memiliki pola pandang yang miring dalam melihat keberadaan organ seksualitas perempuan, disamping menunjukan posisi perempuan sebagai the second sex (makhluk kedua) dalam pranata sosial masyarakat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metodologi kualitatif dengan pendekatan literatur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada beberapa bias gender yang dibangun dalam konsep Freud tentang Perkembangan Psiko-Seksual manusia seperti (1) Anatomi adalah takdir; (2) Superego laki-laki berkembang lebih baik daripada perempuan; (3) Perempuan lebih mudah menjadi neurotik daripada laki-laki; (4) beberapa strereotip perempuan sebagai efek residu dari Kecemburuan pada Penis; dan (5) teori Oedipus dan Electra Complex. Penelitian ini penting untuk mengatasi mengatasi persoalan androsentrisme dan representasi perempuan dalam ilmu Psikologi, mengakui perbedaan cara berpikir dan berpengetahuan perempuan dan laki-laki, dan mempertimbangkan pengalaman hidup mereka melalui perspektif Psikologi Islam.

Abstract

The trend in terrorist acts nowadays is using women as perpetrators with a feminine approach. To respond to the condition, the figure of the Cirebon women ulama takes a very significant role. When women could be recruited as terrorists, it should be easier too to get them back to become agents of peace. This study originally attempts to describe the experiences and efforts of Cirebon women ulama in the process of socio-religious transformation in the Cirebon society towards a better direction, namely counteracting religious-based intolerance in Cirebon. This study was conducted through a descriptive qualitative method with a phenomenology approach. Primary data were obtained through documentation study, interviews, and direct observations with Cirebon women activists from various community organizations and non-governmental organizations. The results showed that there are several strategies used by Cirebon women ulama in countering religious radicalism such as (1) developing religious literacy among Cirebon society; (2) shifting communication patterns from monolog to dialog; (3) reviewing curriculum and the process of learning; (4) live-in with other religious communities and beliefs, and (5) establish institutional networking.

Abstract

This study examined critically Montessori’s concepts on early childhood education through Islamic Psychology perspective. This research used qualitative methodology with a literature approach. The results showed that (1) Montessori’s method pays more attention to the cognitive aspect of children development while children potential doesn’t only consist of cognitive, affective, and psycho-motoric aspects, but also spiritual one; (2) Reinforcement are not needed in Montessori’s method, while in Islamic Psychology, rewards can increase children's learning and punishment is needed to make children become disciplined in carrying out the rules; (3) Learning environment should be structured, in order, realistic and natural. This concept is suitable for upper class educational institutions but it would be difficult for middle-low income groups since the materials required by Montessori’s method is expensive enough. (4) Parents and teachers are required to become observers and interpreters. This role may pose problem on the part of parents and teachers since not all parents and teachers have criteria to act as is it expected by Montessori’s method.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to explain how homeschooling concept can be an alternative Islamic educational institution in the Muslim family. This study used qualitative methodology with a literature approach. The results showed that (1) Homeschooling is not a new issue in Islamic education. Rasulullah is an originator of homeschooling-based education. The education process was carried out by the Rasulullah at Arqam's house where Rasulullah educated many of his friends and gave birth to many students of extraordinary abilities; (2) There are 3 types of homeschooling in the Islamic tradition: single homeschooling (family), compound homeschooling (halaqah), and homeschooling communities (mosque); (3) Homeschooling based on fitrah education contains monotheism, religious, moral, leadership, and vocational educations; (4) There are seven aspects that must be a concern in family education such as faith, morals, physical, intellectual, psychological, social, and sexual aspects; and (5) To internalize these seven aspects of education, it is necessary to use several methods: education by examples, customs, giving advices, attentions, rewards and punishments.Key Words:  Homeschooling, Family, and Islamic Education

Abstract

Dalam implementasi Sistem Penjaminan Mutu di Perguruan Tinggi hambatan terbesar bukan pada konsep yang akan diimplementasikan, karena kemungkinan konsep dapat mengadopsi dari perguruan tinggi lain atau dengan sitem eksternal, ISO misalnya. Justeru yang terpenting adalah komitmen. Komitmen merupakan syarat utama yang harus ada. Komitmen di sini meliputi komitmen semua pihak, baik pimpinan, tenaga edukatif, tenaga non edukatif, atau pun tenaga penunjang, dengan kata lain seluruh civitas academica. Tetapi yang terpenting adalah komitmen pimpinan, karena untuk mengubah paradigma dan sikap mental, serta pengorganisasian penjaminan mutu yang baik dibutuhkan komitmen pimpinan. Tanpa komitmen pimpinan semua hal yang sudah dirancang tidak akan ada gunanya. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti ingin lebih jauh mengupas bagaimana komitmen pimpinan IAIN Syekh Nurdjati dalam implementasi Sistem Penjaminan Mutu Perguruan Tinggi dijalankan.

Abstract

Students with special needs have different characteristics from students in general. Their different characteristics require more specific teaching services adjusted to their capacities and potentials. Their emotional, mental, intellectual, or social characteristics require special attention and treatment to strengthen their understanding of the learning materials. This article aims to explain the implementation of English language learning to students with special needs using joyful learning based on social constructivism pedagogy. This study employed a descriptive qualitative method and was conducted at SADA Ibu Inclusion School and Cirebon Pancaran Kasih Perjuangan Special Education. The findings of the research show that (1) the implementation of the joyful learning method encouraged students in English classes; (2) in combining joyful learning with a social constructivism pedagogy approach, the results had  significant differences at the two schools. Joyful learning-based social constructivism pedagogy is more appropriately applied at SADA Ibu Inclusion School rather than in Cirebon Pancaran Kasih Perjuangan Special Education.

Abstract

AbstractAl-Maududi and Qutb are two Islamic thinkers who are often claimed to be figures of Islamic fundamentalism. The thoughts of these two figures are strongly suspected have an influence on the emergence of the spirit of fundamentalists in various parts of the Islamic world to establish an Islamic state. It is here that the significance of the historical study of Islamic political thought of the two figures is important to reveal. Through a literature review, this paper aims to find out the differences and similarities in the political vision between al-Maududi and Sayyid Quthb regarding the form of the State. The results of the text review of the thoughts of the two figures show that both ideas characterized more constructive suggestions for the administration of an Islamic state, rather than offering a concrete form of government. Although both have a similar obsession about the Islamic state, the strategies adopted by both of them in reaching their obsession have differences. Maududi was more inclined to the form of cultural movements, while Qutb was more likely to choose revolutionary movement.Key Words: Islamic Fundamentalism, Political Thought, History

Abstract

This study aims to describe the conversation, debate and new interpretations of progressive thinking of Husein Muhammad for the sake of reforming the rules of Islamic law with gender equality perspective. This research uses a qualitative methodology with a descriptive approach. The results showed that Husein Muhammad is a male Muslim feminist. In contrast to most other Islamic feminists who deconstruct religious texts and look for possible reconstructions in the values of secular humanism, Husein's ideas have their own distinctiveness, because in addition he has a depth of classical Islamic literature in analyzing or competing arguments against gender inequality in society, he also carried out reconstruction by finding references contained in the classical Islamic treasures which he considered more in line with the spirit of Koran’s justice. This is what makes Husein's ideas in defending women considered by some as the only capable and important in Indonesia to be maintained. Some of the methodologies used are the Contextual Interpretation methodology, Maqashid al-Shari'ah, Asbab al Nuzul, Special Text and General Text, Understanding Causality and Social Reality, and Ta'wil. Some of these methodologies are important because they are able to provide understanding to Islamic attackers without having to be apologetic, as many contemporary scholars show.

Iip muhamad anwarul kholiq, Penerapan Pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris berbasis Kearifan Lokal di MA Miftahuttholibin Program Studi Manajemen Kuningan , Magister Fakultas Tarbiyah Dan Keguruan Pascasarjana IAIN Syech Nurjati 2020. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi observasi di MA Miftahuttholibin Kuningan. Menemukan kasus di MA Miftahuttholibin Kuningan adalah satu-satunya sekolah menengah kejuruan di Kota Kuningan yang mengusung sejarah budaya dan kesenian Kuningan sebagai program keahliannya. Sekolah Menengah SMK yang mengusung teknologi dan jurusan yang ramai peminat, sekolah ini berpegang teguh pada Norma dan nilai luhur budaya khusus budaya Kuningan.Tujuan penelitian adalah membangun pembelajaran bahasa Inggris berbasis Kearifan Lokal adalah menyediakan pelajar dan masyarakat untuk cara belajar Bahasa Inggris dengan baik, serta meningkatkan ketertarikan pelajar dan masyarakat tentang pembelajaran bahasa berbasis Kearifan Lokal. Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif, dimana yang menjadi subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas X, XI, XII, di MA Miftahuttholibin Kuningan, yang dilengkapi 120 Siswa.Penelitian  ini  dilaksanakan  kurang  lebih  3  bulan  mulai  dari  bulan  Juli sampai September 2018. Penelitian dimulai dari observasi, wawancara dengan kepala sekolah, guru, karyawan/staf, siswa dan orang tua anak. Pengumpulan data dalam  penelitian  ini  menggunakan  metode  observasi,  wawancara  dan dokumentasi. Adapun Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah reduksi data, display data dan verifikasi.Hasill  penelitian  Pertama,  pembelajaran  bahasa inggris berbasis Kearifan Lokal sangat penting diterapkan di MA Miftahuttholibin  Kuningan, selain bahasa inggris yang sudah menjadi bahasa internasional  tetapi merupakan salah satu bahasa wajib di praktekan sehari-hari di sekolah smk ini sehingga memudahkan peserta didik menerima dan mengaplikasikan pembelajaran bahasa inggris berbasis Kearifan Lokal di sekolah. Kedua, cara implementasi pembelajaran bahasa inggris berbasis Kearifan Lokal dengan pendekatan tiga pola yaitu pola pembiasaan/pengulangan,  pola  contoh,  dan  pola  implementasi  dan  evaluasi. Ketiga, Guru tidak mendukung hasil belajar Akan tetapi produksi proses belajar Lingkungan juga berkolaborasi mulai dari Lingkungan Keluarga, Sekolah dan masyarakat. penghambat dalam pembelajaran berbasis Kearifan Lokal dengan menggunakan bahasa inggris pada pelajaran bahasa inggris. kurang media konkret dan buku yang dijadikan sumber untuk belajar.Kata kunci: Pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris berbasis Kearifan Lokal
