Abstract

The spectrum fees called as "Biaya Hak Pengguna Frekuensi" (BHPF) for cellular services in Indonesia are currently calculated based on apparatus, proportionally to the number of transceiver stations and radio channels. Unfortunately, the formula cannot promote the efficiency of frequency spectrum efficiency. ITU-R SM 2012-2 recommended the spectrum fee formula that can promote the efficiency; Administrative Incentives Price (AIP) also claims to promote the effectiveness of the radio spectrum utilization. By combining ITUR SM 2012-2 with AIP, the frequency fee formula can promote not only the efficiency but also the effectiveness of spectrum utilization. This paper will explain and discus the modification of ITU-R SM 2012-2 with AIP in designing the spectrum fees for cellular services in Indonesia.

Abstract

In this paper, an algorithm for predicting accessibility performance on an LTE/SAE network based on relevant historical key performance indicator (KPI) data is proposed. Since there are three KPIs related to accessibility, each representing different segments, a method to map these three KPI values onto the status of accessibility performance is proposed. The network conditions are categorized as high, acceptable or low for each time interval of observation. The first state shows that the system is running optimally, while the second state shows that the system has deteriorated and needs full attention, and the third state indicates that the system has gone into degraded conditions that cannot be tolerated. After the state sequence has been obtained, a transition probability matrix can be derived, which can be used to predict future conditions using a DTMC model. The results obtained are system predictions in terms of probability values for each state for a specific future time. These prediction values are required for proactive health monitoring and fault management. Accessibility degradation prediction is then conducted by using measurement data derived from an eNodeB in the LTE network for a period of one month.

Abstract

Proses awal perhitungan honor mengajar Dosen di STIKOM Dinamika Bangsa dilakukan oleh Staff Prodi, terdapat 2 jenis hasil rekapan dari Staff Prodi yaitu rekap mengajar Dosen Tetap yang akan dikelola oleh Wakil Ketua II dan Dosen Tidak Tetap dikelola oleh Biro Administrasi Umum. Seluruh proses perhitungan honor mengajar sudah terkomputerisasi, namun belum memiliki system. Saat ini proses perhitungan masih menggunakan Microsoft Excel, dimana setiap file tersimpan disetiap bagian yang mengelolanya. Penelitian ini akan menghasilkan suatu prototype sistem manajemen rekapitulasi honor mengajar Dosen dengan pendekatan berorientasi objek meliputi tahapan perumusan masalah, pengumpulan data, analisa sistem, permodelan dan prototyping. Penelitian ini dapat dijadikan dasar untuk pengembangan lebih lanjut pada saat sistem ini diterapkan dengan beberapa penyesuaian lebih lanjut dari bagian-bagian terkait.

Abstract

In LTE Network, users can move freely in the network through fast and seamless handover (HO). This research focuses on intra-LTE handover which occurs using interface X2 to move an EU between two eNBs, i.e. source eNB and target eNB without any changes in MME and SGW at EPC level. Two popular algorithms of intra-LTE handover namely A2-A4-RSRQ and A3-RSRP were evaluated and compared through simulations as well as direct measurements in the field. Simulation is conducted using NS3 simulation tool where performances of various scenarios from both algorithms were evaluated. The performance metrics studied include the average number of HOs that occur, throughput and optimized ratio. Simulations carried out for various scenarios in term of EU numbers, user speeds, and channel conditions. In addition, the results of one-month measurement of three eNBs were also presented. The measurement results are then compared and used to verify the simulation results. Furthermore, by using the optimizing ratio metric, the optimal pair of parameter values of Threshold as well as Offset and Handover Margin (HOM) along with Time-to-Trigger (TTT) are sought for the A2-A4-RSRQ and A3-RSRP respectively.

Abstract

Internet Congestion Control System. Internet congestion occurs when resource demands exceeds the network capacity. But, it is not the only reason. Congestion can happen on some users because some others user has higher sending rate. Then some users with lower sending rate will experience congestion. This partial congestion is caused by inexactly feedback. At this moment congestion are solved by the involvement of two controlling mechanisms. These mechanisms are flow/congestion control in the TCP source and Active Queue Management (AQM) in the router. AQM will provide feedback to the source a kind of indication for the occurrence of the congestion in the router, whereas the source will adapt the sending rate appropriate with the feedback. These mechanisms are not enough to solve internet congestion problem completely. Therefore, this paper will explain internet congestion causes, weakness, and congestion control technique that researchers have been developed. To describe congestion system mechanisms and responses, the system will be simulated by Matlab.

Abstract

Keimigrasian adalah proses masuk atau keluar wilayah Indonesia beserta pengaturannya untuk menjaga keamanan negara (Undang-Undang Nomor 6 Tahun 2011). Adanya orang asing yang masuk ke wilayah Negara Kesatuan Republik Indonesia dengan berbagai alasan mengharuskan negara menerapkan peraturan keimigrasian bagi semua orang asing yang, yakni kebijakan selektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran pengawasan keimigrasian dalam mengatasi ancaman kedaulatan negara yang ditimbulkan oleh orang asing yang memasuki wilayah Indonesia. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif dan data sekunder dari buku, jurnal, artikel, tesis, internet, dan mengambil dari berbagai sumber literatur. Berdasarkan temuan penelitian ini, peran keimigrasian adalah untuk menegakkan pengawasan terhadap orang asing yang berada di wilayah Negara Kesatuan Republik Indonesia dan yang perbuatannya sedang melanggar hukum. Upaya hukum tambahan meliputi pencegahan dan penangkalan, yang dikeluarkan oleh Direktorat Jenderal Imigrasi di bawah kewenangan Kementerian Hukum dan Hak Asasi Manusia dan meminimalkan ancaman kepemilikan negara.

Abstract

Beton adalah material komposit terdiri dari bahan dasar semen, agregat kasar, agregat halus, air dan dengan atau tanpa bahan tambahan dengan perbandingan tertentu akan membentuk beton. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk bagaimana penggunaan capping terhadap benda uji serta mengetahui perbandingan nilai kuat tekan beton terhadap menggunakan capping dan tanpa dari segi umur 7 dan 28 hari. Benda uji yang digunakan berbentuk silinder berdiameter 15 cm dan panjang 30 cm. Pengujian benda uji menggunakan capping dan tanpa capping dilakukan pengetesan uji kuat tekan. Analisis data dilakukan perbandingan nilai kuat tekan terhadap benda uji menggunakan capping dan tanpa capping serta pengaruh kuat tekannya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kuat tekan menggunakan capping pada benda uji lebih bagus dibandingan dengan tanpa menggunakan capping. Nilai pada hasil kuat tekan beton pada umur 7 menggunakan capping mendapatkan sebesar 9 N/mm2 atau 32 % dan tanpa capping sebesar 7 N/mm2 atau 23 % serta pada umur 28 hari menggunakan capping mendapatkan sebesar 20,16 N/mm2 atau 67 % dan tanpa capping mendapatkan sebesar 17,41 N/mm2 atau 58 %. Perbandingan nilai kuat tekan beton menggunakan capping lebih besar dibanding dengan tanpa capping dan perbandingan hasil akhir tidak memenuhi syarat dengan mutunya dengan 30 MPa atau N/mm2. Mempengaruhi penggunaan capping terhadap benda uji untuk melapisi ujung bagian yang tidak rata untuk melakukan pengujian kuat tekan dengan men-optimalkan kekuatan tekan pada silinder beton sangat tepat digunakan pada benda uji silinder.

Abstract

Technology development and socio-economic transformation have increased the demand for 5G cellular networks. They are expected to send information quickly and support many use cases emerging from a variety of applications. One of the use cases on the 5G network is the massive MTC (Machine Type Communication), wherein wireless sensor network (WSN) is a typical application. Challenges faced by a 5G cellular network are how to model an architecture/topology to support WSN and to solve energy consumption efficiency problem in WSN. So, to overcome these challenges, a HAP system integrated with WSN which uses Low Energy Adaptive Hierarchy routing protocol is implemented. The HAP system is designed to be used at a 20-km altitude, and the topologies used are those with and without clustering. It uses 1,000 sensor nodes and Low Energy Adaptive Clustering Hierarchy protocol. This system was simulated using MATLAB. Simulations were performed to analyze the energy consumption, the number of dead nodes, and the average total packets which were sent to HAP for non-clustered topology and clustered topology. Simulation results showed that the clustered topology could reduce energy consumption and the number of dead nodes while increasing the total packet sent to HAP.*****Perkembangan teknologi dan transformasi sosial-ekonomi telah menyebabkan bisnis jaringan seluler 5G mengalami perubahan, sehingga jaringan seluler 5G diharapkan dapat mengirim informasi dengan cepat dan mendukung kasus penggunaan yang banyak bermunculan dari berbagai aplikasi. Salah satu kasus penggunaan pada jaringan 5G adalah massive Machine Type Communication (MTC). Salah satu aplikasi massive MTC adalah jaringan sensor nirkabel (JSN). Tantangan bagi jaringan seluler 5G ini adalah bagaimana memodelkan arsitektur/topologi untuk mendukung JSN dan bagaimana mengatasi masalah efisiensi konsumsi energi di JSN. Untuk menjawab tantangan ini, maka diterapkan sistem HAP yang terintegrasi JSN dan menggunakan protokol routing Low Energy Adaptive Clustering Hierarchy. Sistem HAP dirancang untuk digunakan di ketinggian 20 km dengan topologi tanpa dan dengan clustering, menggunakan 1.000 node sensor. Sistem ini telah disimulasikan dengan menggunakan MATLAB. Simulasi dilakukan untuk melihat konsumsi energi, jumlah node yang mati dan rata-rata total paket yang dikirim ke HAP untuk topologi tanpa dan dengan clustering. Dari serangkaian simulasi, terlihat bahwa topologi dengan clustering dapat mengurangi konsumsi energi dan jumlah node yang mati, sekaligus meningkatkan total paket yang dikirimkan ke HAP.

Abstract

The most important part of the modernization of Air Traffic Management (ATM) is the Voice Switching and Control System (VSCS) based on Circuit Switching (CS) technology. This technology has Quality of Service (QoS) on Bandwidth, Delay, and Jitter, but it is expensive to implement in small and medium airports. The development of Packet Switching (PS) technology with Internet Protocol (IP) is expected to become an alternative to modern and affordable systems such as the IP-based VSCS communication system. This research uses literature study and experimental methods to develop features and components of a portable IP-based VSCS communication system. The measurement results of this prototype have a delay of 100-150 ms, jitter below 50 ms, 0% packet loss, and varying throughput. Thus, the VSCS prototype built has performed according to the standards required by the International Civil Aviation Organization.

Abstract

Since long ago nutmeg was a popular commodity with high economical value, especially as spices. Nutmeg fruit could be processed into candied nutmeg, as an effort of food diversification. Problem in candied nutmeg production was the browning reaction. After having peeled, the color of flesh will change brown. This condition can lower the quality of nutmeg as raw material in food industry. One of the methods can be applied to prevent the browning reaction is by soaking nutmeg flesh in sodium bisulfite solution. Research had been conducted to find out the effect of soaking nutmeg flesh in sodium bisulfite at Chemistry Laboratory Agriculture Faculty Ma’soem University. The objective of the research was to determine the right solution of sodium bisulfite to produce the finest characteristic of candied nutmeg. The experimental method was applied in this research with six treatments; 500 ppm (A), 750 ppm (B), 1000 ppm (C), 1200 ppm (D), 1500 ppm (E), dan 1750 ppm (F), and each of the treatments was repeated four times. Monitoring was held on total soluble solid, vitamin C, sulfite residue, and organoleptic test on color, aroma, flavor and texture. Statistic analysis used variance analysis and proceeded by Duncan's Multiple Range Test. Result of the research showed that sodium bisulfite solution gave a significant effect on total soluble solid, sulfite residue, color and aroma. Vice versa, sodium bisulfite solution had no effect on vitamin C, flavor and texture. The 1500 ppm of solution produce the finest characteristics of candied nutmeg.
