Abstract

Challenges in the digital era require students to have strong digital literacy, especially in utilising technology wisely. This service activity aims to improve the digital literacy skills of students at SMA 2 Batanghari. This includes improving the ability to think critically, creatively and collaborate in the digital space. The method used includes preparation, implementation and evaluation stages. The discussion of digital literacy material aims to build a safe environment and educate students about positive digital media practices. Digital literacy is expected to help students become responsible and wise users of technology. Evaluation assessment was conducted using questionnaires before and after the activity (pretest and posttest). The results of the questionnaire showed that there was an increase in students' digital literacy skills with a medium level N-Gain category. Based on the data obtained, the activities carried out were effective in improving students' understanding and digital literacy skills. This service activity is expected to be a provision in facing technological challenges in the digital era. A deep understanding of the impact of digital media and how to use it is expected to lead learners to be ready to face challenges in the digital era.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to find out what factors influence the implementation of legal protection for children who are perpetrators of violent crimes in the investigation process at the Sumenep Resort Police. Legal research using normative legal research methods in drawing conclusions using deductive thinking methods. Starting with drawing conclusions based on general things to specific things. By comparing primary legal materials and secondary legal materials, problems can be narrowed down from general to specific. Results There are 3 factors that become obstacles in the legal protection of children at the investigation stage. The first is that recidivism is a consideration factor in giving heavier sentences to child offenders. Second, the reporters and/or victims feel that justice is fulfilled if the child perpetrator is detained, tried and imprisoned. Third, the lack of adequate child care places is an obstacle for children to socialize with other children when parents work or are not at home, especially in the Sumenep Police Law area.

Abstract

The Indonesian economy is significantly driven by Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), which face challenges related to halal certification. The Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) plays a crucial role in providing halal fatwas through a self-declaration mechanism for MSMEs. This study explores the challenges MSMEs encounter in obtaining halal fatwas and their impact on consumer purchase decisions. From a self-declaration perspective, the MUI validates and issues halal fatwas for MSME products. Although self-declaration aims to ease the certification process, challenges such as high costs and difficulty meeting standards persist. However, the MUI's role in providing credible halal fatwas and maintaining public trust is vital. This research uses a library study method, analyzing data from primary legal materials, relevant literature, survey results, and other information. The findings indicate that self-declared halal fatwas can enhance consumer trust in MSME products, though concerns about the validity of such certifications remain due to the lack of audits and formal fatwa determinations.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of the Occupational Safety and Health (K3) Management System on Employee Performance at PT.UPC Sidrap Bayu Energi, Sidrap Regency. The population in this study were all employees of PT.UPC Sidrap Bayu Energi, Sidrap Regency, totaling 34 employees. The type of research used is descriptive quantitative. The data sources used are primary data sources, namely information originating from observations and questionnaires. Secondary data sources are data sources obtained from documentation or literature study. The data analysis technique used is Simple Regression Analysis using statistical calculations using the Statistical Package for the Social Science (SPSS) version 26 application.The research results show that the Occupational Safety and Health Management System (K3) (X) has a positive and significant effect on employee performance (Y). the results of this research t value > t table (9,148 > 1.691) and the significant value = 0.00 ˂ 0, 05

Abstract

Currently, the measurement and assessment process that uses paper is considered less effective and less efficient because it is relatively difficult to score, takes longer, and does not save paper. Therefore, web-based assessment is a better choice in some instances and conditions. The purpose of this study was to develop a web-based assessment that will be used to identify students' misconceptions about the buoyant material. This research is development research (R&D) using the ADDIE model, which involved two validators, a teacher, and 20 students, as respondents in the development process. Data collection was carried out using instruments and interviews. The implication in this study is to be able to identify the occurrence of misconceptions experienced by students by involving technology in conducting assessments carried out by teachers. The data obtained were analyzed using descriptive statistics and Miles and Huberman analysis. The study results indicate that in the use of web-based assessment, students get an average percentage of misconceptions <20%, which is included in the SR category (very low). User response to this web-based instrument is good, so it is feasible. With this, it can be said that it is necessary to apply web-based assessment in the process of tests and assessments in schools.

Abstract

Marriage is a living together of a man and a woman who fulfill the conditions included in the regulation. The purpose of the research is to describe and identify the legal review of siri marriage and to know and analyze the legal consequences of siri marriage according to Law Number 1 1974 concerning Marriage. The research method uses the legal sociological juridical method, which means a research approach that studies the influence of society on law. The results of this research are unregistered marriages or marriages between a man and a woman that are not announced and without the presence of wedding witnesses, carried out without being registered with the marriage registrar with the aim that the general public will not know about them. The legal consequences of the perpetrators of unregistered marriages, That legally, unregistered marriages are invalid if there is no legal record, as explained in Law Number 1 of 1974 as amended by Law Number 16 of 2019 concerning Marriage. Unregistered marriages have many negative impacts on women (wives) and children.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to determine the implementation of Article 170 paragraph (2) 1 of the Criminal Code concerning criminal acts involving joint forces committing violence against people resulting in injuries at the Surabaya District Court. The research method used is normative research, with a conceptual approach, namely legal research that looks for principles, doctrines and sources of law in a juridical philosophical sense. Result The judge's basis for consideration in handing down a decision against the perpetrator of the criminal act of group fighting based on the study of Decision Number: 411/Pid.B/2022/PN Sby is 5 (five), namely: (a). based on the prosecutor's indictment; (b). based on evidence at trial (both witness evidence, letters and the defendant's statement); (c). based on articles in the Criminal Code and Criminal Procedure Code; (d). based on legal facts revealed at trial; (e). based on the circumstances that led to the crime.

Abstract

Community Empowerment Program through the Socialization of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Fruit Salad Production in Sanggalima Village, Gebang District, Langkat Regency. This program aims to enhance the skills and knowledge of the local community in developing independent business opportunities. Organized by KKN 05 students, this socialization initiative serves as an effort to improve the entrepreneurial competencies of residents. Through educational outreach and training in fruit salad production, the program seeks to enable the community to create high-value processed products that contribute to household economic sustainability. The implementation of this program involves educational counseling, practical demonstrations of fruit salad preparation, and fundamental marketing training utilizing social media platforms. The outcomes indicate a notable improvement in the community’s ability to process fruit into nutritious and attractive food products while simultaneously fostering new MSME-based business opportunities within the village. Accordingly, this initiative is expected to serve as a foundational step toward strengthening the economic independence of the Sanggalima Village community.

Abstract

Konflik dalam organisasi merupakan fenomena yang tidak dapat dihindari, terutama dalam lingkungan kerja yang melibatkan berbagai individu dengan latar belakang dan kepentingan yang berbeda. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis manajemen konflik sebagai strategi peningkatan kinerja pegawai di Kantor Camat Kecamatan Duampanua Kabupaten Pinrang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi dengan pegawai Kantor Camat sebagai informan penelitian. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan model data kualitatif, yang mencakup reduksi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan Kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konflik yang terjadi di Kantor Camat Duampanua disebabkan oleh komunikasi yang kurang efektif, perbedaan karakter antarpegawai, serta pembagian tugas yang dirasa tidak merata. Untuk mengatasi konflik, strategi yang diterapkan mencakup komunikasi terbuka, musyawarah, serta mediasi oleh atasan.

Abstract

Masih rendahnya pengetahuan dan kemampuan guru di SMAN 15 Muaro Jambi dalam hal penelitian dan menuliskannya menjadi sebuah artikel ilmiah dapat diketahui dari kurangnya jumlah artikel yang disubmit dan diterbitkkan oleh guru SMA 15 Muaro Jambi tersebut. Sebagian guru tersebut menjelaskan bahwa mereka kurang memahami bagaimana seharusnya melakukan suatu penelitian di sekolah dan permasalahan apa yang sebaikmya diteliti. Walaupun sudah melakukan penelitian kebanyakan mereka belum memahami cara mempublish penelitian tersebut serta di mana akan di publish. Sehingga permasalahan di atas akan menjadi kendala bagi guru-guru ketika akan mengusulkan kenaikan pangkat. Oleh sebab itu, guna membantu mengatasi permasalahan tersebut perlu dilakukan pelatihan dan bimbingan mengenai penulisan artikel ilmiah untuk guru-guru di SMAN 15 Muaro Jambi. Kegiatan yang akan dilaksanakan adalah pelatihan dan bimbingan yang dengan metode pemberian pengetahuan dan keterampilan kepada para guru peserta pelatihan dengan judul pelatihan “ Penulisan Artikel Ilmiah untuk Guru-Guru di SMAN 15 Kabupaten Muaro Jambi. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan memberikan informasi dalam hal penulisan artikel karya ilmiah di suatu jurnal bagi para guru. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah ceramah dan diskusi. Setelah mengikuti kegiatan ini, peserta mengaku bahwa minat mereka terhadap menulis karya ilmiah sudah meningkat dan telah memilki ide- ide yang akan diteliti dan bersedia meluangkan waktu untuk itu, namun masih memerlukan pendampingan dalam hal penulisan artikel, penggunaan Google Schoolar dan penggunaan.
