Abstract

AbstractSmall-scale fisheries supply local raw materials with potential for coastal food diversification. Remang fish (Muraenesox cinereus) offers opportunities as a raw material for value-added amplang that has not been widely processed. This research assessed the ratio effect of tapioca starch-to-remang fish flesh on physical, chemical, microbiological, and sensory quality and its compliance with SNI 7762:2013. A randomized complete block design experiment on 3 formulations (70:30, 60:40, 50:50) with 4 replications included proximate tests, hardness tests, total plate counts, Escherichia coli, and sensory tests by 23 panelists using a 7-point scale assessment. The moisture content of 1.07% – 2.29% and ash of 2.77% –3.92% were below the threshold, the protein content of 7.87% – 10.95% exceeded the minimum limit, the total plate count was 2.2 log CFU/g – 3.2 log CFU/g, and Escherichia coli was negative. Meanwhile, the hardness decreased from 2,737.79 gForce to 268.66 gForce as the fish portion increased. The 50:50 formulation achieved the highest sensory score, but the fat content of 51.18% exceeded the 35% limit, while the fat content of the 70:30 and 60:40 formulations was within the limits of 17.08% and 23.36%. The findings confirm the suitability of remang fish as a raw material for amplang. Oil absorption control and high-barrier packaging are needed to ensure sensory excellence in line with quality compliance. These study results can be used as a basis for coastal food diversification based on local resources and commercialization opportunities for micro, small, and medium enterprises. Keywords: coastal food diversification, remang fish amplang, sensory quality, tapioca starch-to-fish flesh ratio AbstrakPerikanan skala kecil menyuplai bahan baku lokal yang berpotensi untuk diversifikasi pangan pesisir.

Abstract

Indonesia’s economic performance has long been intertwined with the flow of bank credit; however, the rapid expansion of lending has not always moved in harmony with growth. The varied outcomes of working capital, investment, and consumer loans raise concerns about whether credit actually promotes sustainable development or, when misdirected, risks producing an imbalance.  This study aims to clarify these dynamics by analyzing the distinct effects of disaggregated bank loans on Indonesia's economic expansion from 2009 to 2023.  Taking a quantitative approach, it uses multiple linear regression to examine the individual and collective influence of each loan category, using secondary data from Bank Indonesia and the Central Statistics Agency.  The study found that working capital loans have a favorable and significant impact, emphasizing their importance in supporting daily output and short- to medium-term growth. Investment loans typically have a negative impact because of inefficiencies, delays, and intrinsic structural flaws that obstruct their primary purpose of increasing capacity.  While consumer loans help boost household demand, their impact on macroeconomic growth is small, highlighting their limitations as long-term growth drivers.  Nonetheless, the interaction of these three loan categories is critical in shaping economic results, as models show that they account for a considerable part of the growth fluctuation.  This duality emphasizes the potential of finance as both an enabler and a constraint, implying that effective oversight of investment credit, consistent working capital flows, and careful management of consumer credit are critical strategies for promoting inclusive and resilient economic growth in Indonesia.

Abstract

Islamic economics plays a crucial role in addressing the economic challenges of sustainable development in Indonesia. With principles based on social justice, wise management of natural resources, and redistribution of wealth, usury is prohibited. This research aims to examine the role of Islamic economics principles and identify appropriate strategies to overcome the economic challenges of sustainable development in Indonesia. This research employs a qualitative approach, utilizing a systematic review method to analyze the latest scientific articles from the past decade, as well as e-books. The results showed that the principles of the five central values of Islamic economics, such as tawhid, justice, prophethood, khilafah, and ma'ad, can contribute to sustainable economic development. Islamic economic strategy in Indonesia plays a crucial role in promoting sustainable economic growth by increasing public awareness of Islamic economic literacy, strengthening the Islamic financial sector, developing the halal industry, leveraging digital technology, and fostering collaboration between the government and society to achieve inclusive welfare.  This study concludes that by applying the principles of sharia economics, Indonesia can create a fairer financial system, reduce social inequality, and ensure long-term economic stability.  The goal of this research is to create a fair, inclusive, and sustainable economic system that enhances people's welfare and preserves the environment by applying Sharia principles in all aspects of economic development.
