Abstract

In recent years, assessing the quality of the Sriwijaya University English Proficiency Test (USEPT) website and its user experience has become increasingly important due to the globalization of higher education and the need for students to develop international communication skills. This study aims to evaluate the UX and usability of the USEPT website by using the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) and System Usability Scale (SUS) to provide a comprehensive analysis. The results showed that all aspects of the UEQ scored with an average value ranging from -0.88 to 0.48 making it in the “bad” category especially on attractiveness, stimulation and novelty. While the average SUS score is 50 which categorizes usability at the “Not Acceptable” level, with a grade of “F” and adjective rating at the “poor” level. These findings illustrate the poor functionality of the website due to unsatisfactory user experience, thus requiring holistic improvements across all dimensions of UEQ. Recommendations for improvement include optimizing website navigation, increasing visual appeal by creating an attractive design, integrating interactive features to increase user engagement and satisfaction. This research makes a positive contribution to the development of the USEPT website in user satisfaction and can be a reference for website evaluation.

Abstract

In the era of rapid digitalization, the economic sector, especially small and medium enterprises, is required to adapt to the development of digitalization. SDS YPMM Cooperative is one example of a small business that still relies on traditional systems in its business processes. To overcome this problem, a website-based User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) design was carried out to digitize the SDS YPMM cooperative business process. In the design, the User Centered Design method is used which focuses on user needs. This method is done by Specify the context of use, specify user and organizational requirements, produce design solutions, and evaluate design against user requirements. At the evaluation stage, the System Usability Scale (SUS) was used to measure the level of usability of the resulting design. The evaluation results obtained 179 respondents out of 533 population for the user interface showed a score of 84.97, which falls into the "acceptable" category and a rating of B or "Excellent". Meanwhile, the admin interface received 5 respondents from 5 populations and scored 93, which falls into the "acceptable" category and an A or "Best Imaginable" rating. These findings indicate that the UI/UX design is highly accepted by both categories of users, thereby improving operational efficiency and shopping experience, which creates satisfaction with SDS YPMM cooperative services.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the usability and user experience of Weverse Shop e-commerce app after integration into Weverse app using the Cognitive Walkthrough and Post Study System Usability Questionnaire (PSSUQ) methods. Cognitive Walkthrough is used to identify usability issues from an expert perspective, while PSSUQ is used to quantitatively measure user experience through three subscales: System Usefulness, Information Quality, and Interface Quality. Participants in this study ran 7 task scenarios relevant to the application features. Based on the analysis results, the average scores for the PSSUQ subscales were 2.99 for System Usefulness, 2.98 for Information Quality, and 2.87 for Interface Quality, with an overall score of 2.95. These results indicate that the application interface still needs improvement, especially in the aspects of navigation and information delivery. This research provides recommendations for improvements to usability elements to increase user satisfaction.

Abstract

Penguasaan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi merupakan kebutuhan dalam menghadapi era globalisasi, salah satunya yaitu komputer dan microsoft office word. Komputer adalah alat yang mengolah data menurut prosedur yang telah dirumuskan, komputer merupakan suatu perangkat keras yang sangat berkaitan dengan teknologi. Microsoft word merupakan perangkat lunak  pengolah kata, salah satu fungsi utama microsoft word adalah pembuatan dan pengeditan dokumen. pengguna mengetik kata, menjadi kalimat bahkan paragraf. Tujuan dari kegiatan pelatihan ini adalah untuk melakukan pendampingan, pengenalan komputer dan microsoft word kepada santri-santri pondok pesantren modern daarul iman yang belum memahami komputer dan menggunakan software microsoft office word. Pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan dengan dua tahap, tahap pertama yaitu pengenalan komponen komputer dilaksanakan di aula pondok pesantren, tahap kedua pelatihan microsoft word dilaksanakan di lab komputer pondok pesantren. Hasil dari kegiatan ini santri-santri di pondok pesantren modern daarul iman lebih memahami dan mengerti tentang komputer dan microsoft word.  Kata Kunci : Komputer, Pelatihan Dasar, Microsoft Office Word

Abstract

The development of digital technology has changed the transportation industry, including online services such as Gojek. Understanding customer sentiment is key in improving user experience and designing more effective business strategies. This research analyzes Gojek user sentiment on Instagram using Support Vector Machine (SVM). Data is obtained through web scraping, then processed through text cleaning, tokenization, common word removal, and stemming. Features were extracted using Term Frequency-Inverse Document Frequency (TF-IDF) before being classified with SVM. The results showed that the SVM model achieved 70.82% accuracy in classifying user sentiment. Most positive comments highlight the convenience and efficiency of the service, while negative comments are more related to high tariffs, application constraints, and less responsive customer service. These findings provide insights for Gojek to improve marketing strategies, optimize customer service, and adjust fare policies based on user feedback. In addition, this analysis can help in predicting real-time customer satisfaction trends through sentiment monitoring on social media. As a development step, this research recommends further exploration with deep learning and Aspect-Based Sentiment Analysis (ABSA) to improve accuracy and understand the service aspects that have the most influence on customer satisfaction.

Abstract

Kegiatan pelaksanakan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dengan Peningkatan Pengetahuan Teknologi Informasi Untuk Masyakarat di Kelurahan Mariana Ilir Kecamatan Banyuasin Ilir, Kabuaten Banyuasin Sumatra Selatan dapat dilaksanakan sesuai dengan agenda dan jadwal, yang sudah disepakati antara tim pengabdian kepada masyarakat dan tim dari kelurahan, dalam hal ini diwakilkan oleh kepala dan sekretaris lurah. Dari hasil evaluasi selama pelaksanaan kegiatan, didapat bahwa sangat tinggi antusias peserta dalam menerima apa yang disampaikan oleh narasumber. Selain itu, hasil kumunikasi dengan tim kelurahan sungai pinang, diharapkan ada pelatihan lanjut dari tim pengabdian masyarakat untuk tahun 2023. Sehingga ada keberlanjutan kegiatan. Berdasarakan hasil wawancara dan observasi tim dengan peserta maka tingkat keberhasailan pada kegiatan ini sekitar 75%. Metode kegiatan yaitu pendampingan, penyuluhan dan demostrasi aplikasi TIK. Peserta kegiatan ini adalah staf keluraha berjumlah lebih dari 6 orang dan 24 orang perwakilan dari masyarakat desa. Perwakilan desa terdiri dari karang taruna, RT, RW dan masyarakat.

Abstract

Issues related to privacy and security in digital communication have become a primary concern in the use of internet-based applications. This study was conducted to evaluate user experiences with the Getcontact application by applying the HEART Metrics framework, which includes the dimensions of satisfaction, engagement, adoption, retention, and task success. Data were collected from 100 respondents through a questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability. The results indicate that the overall usability level of the application falls into the high category, with an average score of 77.41%. The adoption and task success dimensions achieved the highest results in the very high category, while other dimensions also showed positive outcomes but still require improvement. This study is expected to serve as a foundation for developing more intuitive application interfaces and features, thereby enabling continuous enhancement of the user experience.Keywords: User Experience; HEART Metrics; Getcontact; Level of Usability; UX Evaluation AbstrakPermasalahan terkait privasi dan keamanan komunikasi digital telah menjadi perhatian utama dalam penggunaan aplikasi berbasis internet. Studi ini dilakukan untuk menilai pengalaman pengguna terhadap aplikasi Getcontact dengan menerapkan pendekatan HEART Metrics, yang mencakup dimensi kepuasan, keterlibatan, adopsi, retensi, dan keberhasilan tugas. Data dikumpulkan dari 100 responden yang disebar melalui kuesioner dan telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Hasil penelitian menampilkan bahwa secara keseluruhan tingkat kegunaan aplikas berada pada kategori tinggi dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 77,41 persen. Dimensi adopsi dan keberhasilan tugas memperoleh hasil tertinggi dalam kategori sangat tinggi, sementara dimensi lainnya menunjukkan hasil yang juga positif namun masih memerlukan peningkatan. Studi ini diharapkan dapat menjadi dasar dalam pengembangan antarmuka dan fitur aplikasi agar lebih intuitif, sehingga pengalaman pengguna dapat ditingkatkan secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

The training was designed to support the business sustainability of the Liberti Farmer Group located in Beringin Sakti Village, Ulu Rurah Village, Pagaralam Selatan Sub-district, Pagaralam City. The training included training to improve digital marketing skills to promote food products. This activity aims to provide a basic understanding of digital marketing and teach farmer group members how to use digital technology to promote their food products more efficiently and effectively. In this training, they will learn how to use social media as a marketing platform, create engaging content to promote goods, and increase market reach by using online marketplaces and advertisements. The hands-on practice-based method teaches participants how to create digital catalogs, manage social media accounts, and utilize SEO techniques to increase the visibility of their products. The training can improve the skills of farmer group members in utilizing digital technology for promotion, expanding the market for agricultural products, and increasing income.

Abstract

The widespread accessibility of the internet via smartphones, laptops, and tablets, along with the convenience of carrying these devices anywhere, has transformed social media from merely a communication tool into a key source of information. Instagram, in particular, focuses on visual aesthetics. Many government agencies in Indonesia now have Instagram accounts to engage with the public, as social media-especially Instagram-is increasingly viewed as a popular platform for information dissemination across various demographic groups. One such agency is the South Sumatra Provincial Food Crop and Horticulture Agriculture, which operates under the Instagram handle @pertaniantph.sumsel. However, engagement with their Instagram community remains low, as seen from the limited number of likes and comments on their posts. To investigate the factors contributing to this issue, a study was conducted using the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology 2 (UTAUT 2) model, gathering data from 516 questionnaire respondents who follow the @pertaniantph.sumsel account. The data was analyzed using SmartPLS, revealing that Behavioral Intention significantly impacts Usage Behavior, Effort Expectancy significantly affects Behavioral Intention, Facilitating Conditions influence Usage Behavior, Habit has a significant impact on Behavioral Intention, Hedonic Motivation affects Behavioral Intention, and Social Influence also plays a key role in shaping Behavioral Intention.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi saat ini mempermudah proses belajar bahasa melalui aplikasi seperti Duolingo. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami persepsi pengguna terhadap Duolingo dengan menggunakan analisis sentimen berbasis VADER (Valence Aware Dictionary and Sentiment Reasoner). Ulasan pengguna dari Google Play Store diproses menggunakan Google Collaboratory, menghasilkan 1.831 data yang dikelompokkan sebagai netral, negatif, dan positif. Hasil analisis menunjukkan akurasi keseluruhan sebesar 98 persen. Model ini efektif dalam mengidentifikasi sentimen netral (presisi 100 persen, recall 97 persen, F1-score 99 persen) dan positif (presisi 99 persen, recall 82 persen, F1-score 99 persen). Namun, model kurang efektif dalam mendeteksi emosi negatif, dengan F1-score 74 persen, recall 82 persen, dan presisi 67 persen, yang menunjukkan adanya kesalahan klasifikasi pada beberapa emosi negatif. Awan kata menunjukkan kata-kata positif seperti "good," "helpful", dan "fun," serta kata-kata negatif seperti "technical problems" dan "learning limitations." Tantangan dalam penggunaan VADER termasuk ketidakmampuan menangani konteks bahasa yang kompleks dan nuansa emosional yang mendalam. Untuk meningkatkan klasifikasi sentimen, penelitian ini merekomendasikan penggunaan VADER bersama Deep-Translator. Kombinasi ini dapat membantu mengidentifikasi sentimen negatif dengan lebih baik dan menangani data dengan berbagai bahasa secara lebih efisien. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memahami sudut pandang pengguna dan meningkatkan akurasi analisis sentimen, sehingga berkontribusi pada pengembangan aplikasi pembelajaran bahasa yang lebih baik.
