Abstract

Pembelajaran sosiologi masing-masing kelas menuntut strategi pembelajaran yang berbeda namun guru yang mengajar tidak berbeda. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi strategi pembelajaran sosiologi oleh guru di SMAN 2 Pariaman, Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif tipe evaluatif. Hasil penelitian menggungkapkan bahwa strategi pembelajaran sosiologi yang diterapakan oleh guru di SMAN 2 Pariaman adalah strategi pembelajaran inquiri based learning dan problem solving based learning. Secara keseluruhan pelaksanaan strategi pembelajaran tersebut dilakukan guru berbeda dengan strategi yang terdapat di dalam RPP, ketidaksesuaian ini disebabkan karena kurangnya pemahaman guru mengenai strategi pembelajaran, kurangnya ketersediaan sumber belajar, kurangnya motivasi belajar siswa dan alokasi waktu. Sehingga hal tersebut mempengaruhi hasil belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian ini berguna sebagai pedoman dan masukan khususnya untuk guru mata pelajaran sosiologi dalam menerapkan strategi pembelajaran yang sesuai agar tujuan pembelajaran dapat dicapai secara optimal.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi rendahnya hasilAbelajar siswa dalam pembelajaran sosiologi. Rendahnya hasil belajar siswa disebabkan oleh tidak tepatnya strategi pembelajaran yang digunakan oleh guru, akibatnya siswa tidak fokus dalam belajar. Untuk mengatasi masalah rendah hasil belajar siswa guru menerapkan model discovery learning berbasis media teka-teki silang puzzle discovery education. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa melalui model discovery learning berbasis media teka teki silang puzzle discovery education dalam pembelajaean sosiologi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilakukan dengan 2 siklus. Penelitian ini dilakukan di kelas XI IIS 4 SMAN 1 Nan Sabaris Padang Pariaman dilakukan secara daring melalui aplikasi whatsapp. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu lembar observasi, dan catatan lapangan. Untuk melihat peningkatan setiap siklus diolah dengan menggunakan rumus Percentages Correction S=R/Nx 100 pada siklus I naik sebanyak 17% sedangkan pada siklus II naik sebanyak 23%. KUntuk melihat keberhasilan belajar siswa hasil belajar diolah menggunakan rumus (P=F/N) X 100%. Adanya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa, dari pra tindakan 37%, siklus I 54%, siklus II 77%.

Abstract

Latar belakang dari penelitian ini adalah rendahnya hasil belajar peserta didik kelas X IIS mata pelajaran sosiologi pada tahun ajaran 2020/2021 di SMAN 10 Padang. Hal ini berbeda dengan hasil belajar sosiologi peserta didik di kelas XII dan XI IIS yang tinggi, padahal pembelajaran sosiologi dibelajarkan oleh satu guru yang sama untuk semua tingkatan kelas. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui penyebab rendahnya hasil belajar peserta didik di kelas X IIS mata pelajaran sosiologi di SMAN 10 Padang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif, dengan tipe penelitian studi kasus, pemilihan informan dilakukan secara purposive sampling, pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan studi dokumentasi. Data dianalisis dengan teknik analisis interaktif Miles dan Huberman yaitu dengan cara reduksi data, penyajian data dan menarik kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang peneliti lakukan selama berada di lapangan yaitu di SMAN 10 Padang, maka dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa penyebab rendahnya hasil belajar peserta didik kelas X IIS yaitu: (1) Tidak efektifnya pembelajaran selama daring, (2) Kebijakan Pemerintah dalam penerimaan peserta didik baru melalui sistem zonasi.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk menganalisis bentuk sikap toleransi dan berpikiran terbuka dalam interaksi sosial di masa pandemi Covid-19, karena di masa ini hampir seluruh tatanan kehidupan masyarakat berubah, termasuk interaksi sosial masyarakat transmigrasi yang melakukan malakok di Nagari Sungai Sirah. Berawal dari kronologi kedatangan masyarakat  transmigrasi sehingga tercipta masyarakat yang beragam, untuk itu dibutuhkan sikap toleransi dan berpikiran terbuka untuk menstabilkan kehidupan sosial di Nagari Sungai Sirah. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif fenomenologi. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara yang mendalam dan mengadakan Focus Group Discussion (FGD) di tempat penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sikap toleransi dan berpikiran terbuka di Nagari Sungai Sirah terlaksanakan dengan baik, bahkan kadar sikap toleransi dan sikap berpikiran terbuka nya lebih besar ketimbang sebelum terjadinya pandemi Covid-19. Adat istiadat pada masa sebelum terjadinya pandemi Covid-19 mewajibkan semua unsur adat untuk melakukan suatu kebiasaan yang sudah ditetapkan secara adat namun di masa pandemi Covid-19 semua unsur adat memberi dan diberi toleransi serta keringanan dalam hal pelaksanaan adat tersebut serta fenomena ini juga disikapi dengan pikiran yang terbuka oleh semua masyarakat. Melalui tradisi “malakok” masyarakat pendatang masih mampu hidup berdampingan dan menjaga harmonisasi sosial dalam persaudaraan yang dibingkai dalam sikap toleransi dan berpikiran terbuka.AbstractThe research aims to analyze forms of tolerance and open-mindedness in social interactions during the Covid-19 pandemic, because at this time almost the entire order of community life changed, including the social interactions of the transmigration community who carried out malakok in Nagari Sungai Sirah. Starting from the chronology of the arrival of the transmigration community so that a diverse society was created, it requires an attitude of tolerance and an open mind to stabilize social life in Nagari Sungai Sirah. This research was conducted using a phenomenological qualitative approach. Collecting data using observation techniques, in-depth interviews, and holding Focus Group Discussions (FGD) at the research site. The results showed that tolerance and open-mindedness in Nagari Sungai Sirah were carried out well, even the levels of tolerance and open-mindedness were greater than before the Covid-19 pandemic. Customs in the period before the Covid-19 pandemic required all elements of custom to carry out a custom that had been established in custom, but during the Covid-19 pandemic all elements customary gave and were given tolerance and relief in terms of implementing these customs, and this phenomenon was also addressed with an open mind by all societies. Through the “malakok” tradition, immigrant communities are still able to live side by side and maintain social harmony in a brotherhood framed in an attitude of tolerance and open-mindedness.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the potential conflict between Padang Sibusuk and Kampung Baru after conflict resolution. The research was conducted in the village of Padang Sibusuk and Kampung Baru, Sijunjung Regency. This study uses a qualitative approach to reveal how the existence of potential conflicts between the two regions today. Data was obtained through observation, interviews, FGD (Focus Group Discusion) and documentation studies. Data were analyzed using data analysis techniques proposed by Miles and Huberman which consisted of three processes, namely data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The validity of the data was tested by triangulation of sources. The results of the study showed: The potential for conflict is still stored in the nagari community of Padang Sibusuk and Kampung Baru villages after conflict resolution.  Community leaders to the two parties in conflict have not shown their sincerity together to obey the revolution.   The resolution is only an agreement but to comply with it is far from the expectations of those in conflict.

Abstract

This article aims to find out how the interaction of teachers and students in developing student discipline in citizenship learning at SMK Negeri 5 Padang. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative approach by collecting data through observation, interviews and literature studies. The results of this study indicate that the discipline character of students at SMK Negeri 5 Padang is still not good despite the formation of discipline character by the citizenship teacher. The process of teacher and student interaction in fostering the character of student discipline at SMK Negeri 5 Padang through four stages, namely 1) making rules / agreements in learning citizenship between citizenship teachers and students, 2) Implementation of discipline by students, 3) punishment for students who violate disciplines in citizenship learning and 4) Coaching follow-up. Through this research, it is expected that efforts to increase teacher and student interaction and self-improvement / personality of students, teachers must provide instructions, how to implement discipline properly, provide guidance and assistance to students. This study recommends further research on self-concept in discipline so that it becomes a habit in students.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the process of internalizing religious values in learning Civic and Pancasila Education in underdeveloped regional schools. This research was conducted at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri (MTsN) 1 Mentawai Islands because geographically Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri (MTsN) 1 Mentawai Islands is located in Mentawai Islands Regency as one of the underdeveloped areas in accordance with Presidential Regulation No. 131 of 2015 concerning Determination of Underdeveloped Regions 2015-2019. This study uses a qualitative approach to reveal how the process of internalizing religious values in learning Civic and Pancasila Education on Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri (MTsN) 1 Mentawai Islands. Data was obtained through observation, interviews, FGD (focus group discussion) and documentation studies. The results of the study show: 1) religious values have been internalized in the Civic and Pancasila Education Lesson Plan, 2) the teachers only limited to delivering religious values and have not invited students to think critically about religious values, 3) teachers have not evaluated learning that internalized religious values. Through this research the teacher is expected to be able to develop a model of internalization of religious values in the learning of Civic and Pancasila Education in underdeveloped area schools which includes planning, implementing and evaluating the learning of Civic and Pancasila

Abstract

This article aims to describe the shift in the function of the Hombo Batu tradition in the people of Nias Selatan. The problem in this research is focused on the shape of the shift in the function of the Hombo Batu tradition and the factors that cause the shift in the Hombo Batu tradition. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques are observation, interview and documentation. Testing the validity of the data using triangulation techniques.Data analysis techniques with data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions / verification. The results of the study found that there had been a shift in the function of the Hombo Batu tradition from a physical training function for war to become a tourism icon. The factors causing the shift are internal factors and external factors. This study concludes that there has been a shift in the function of the Hombo Batu tradition with its internal factors concerning the growing idea of the people of South Nias making the Hombo Batu tradition a tourist icon with its income and commercial. External factors were found in the arrival of German missionaries, the entry and advancement of national education, and the presence of tourists.

Abstract

This article aims to describe how the inheritance of the cultural traditions values of the Suku Anak Dalam Air Hitam, Sarolangun, Jambi. The research was conducted with a qualitative approach. Data collected through observation, interviews, documentation. Data were analyzed using data analysis techniques, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Testing the validity of the data by triangulation of sources. The results of the study found that the inheritance of cultural traditions values Suku Anak Dalam Air Hitam, Sarongun Jambi was carried out face-to-face, the involvement of the younger generation (children) in culture, and customary rules. The values inherited are individual, social and love values for the country.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the results of observations made in class VB at SDN 13 Kapalo Koto which shows that student learning activities are still low. This is due to the Covid-19 pandemic that hit the world so that the learning process is carried out online, the online learning process cannot stimulate students to carry out learning activities so that when studying in class students' learning activities are low. This study aims to increase student learning activities using the Cooperative learning model of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) type assisted by the snake and ladder game media. The type of research used is classroom action research which consists of two cycles with 4 stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The subjects of this study were students of class VB with a total of 31 students. The data collection method used is observation. The results showed that the average percentage of student learning activities classically increased. This can be seen from the results of observations of student learning activities in cycle 1 is 64.52% and cycle 2 is 85.28%. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the use of the TGT type cooperative model with the help of snakes and ladders game media can improve student learning activities.
