Abstract

Emesis gravidarum is nausea and vomiting that often occurs in the group of early trimester pregnant women. This goal of the study was to determine the relationship perceptions with behavior of pregnant women in overcoming emesis gravidarum. The goal of this study used a descriptive correlation with cross sectional. The sample in this study were 47 first trimester pregnant women who were taken based on approach inclusion criteria using purposive sampling technique. The analysis used was bivariate and univariate analysis using the chi-square test. That all pregnant women are at the age of 20-35 years, namely 47 respondents (100%), most of the respondents based on education found high school students as many as 30 people (63.8%), most of the respondents were found is Malay as many as 19 people (24.7 %), then pregnant women with primigravida parity as many as 29 people (61.7%) and based on respondents based on their husband's workplace, most of them are husbands who work in the city as many as 42 people. people (89.4%). The results of statistical tests showed that there was a significant relationship between the perception with behavior of pregnant women in overcoming emesis gravidarum p value (0.002) < (0.05). There is a relationship  perception with the behavior of pregnant women in the first trimester in overcoming emesis gravidarum.Keywords: Emesis Gravidarum, Perception, Behavior

Abstract

Breastfeeding is a period of adaptation of mothers after pregnancy and childbirth. This period is a period of adaptation for a mother in changing her sleep patterns and quality. This study aims to describe the pattern and quality of sleep of breastfeeding mothers in the first three months in Lumban Julu District of Toba, North Sumatra Province. This study used a descriptive research design with a quantitative approach. The sample of this study was 85 respondents who were taken using a total sampling technique. The analysis used is univariate analysis. Results: There were 63 respondents (74.1%) with multipara parity. A total of 51 respondents (60%) had poor sleep patterns and 76 respondents (89.4%) had poor sleep quality). Sleep patterns and quality of breastfeeding mothers in the first three months tend to be poor.Keywords: breastfeeding mother, sleep pattern, sleep quality

Abstract

Untreated anxiety can cause complications during pregnancy that can affect the health of the mother and baby during delivery. Pregnant women who experience anxiety need to take actions that can overcome anxiety. This study aims to explore the anxiety and actions of third trimester pregnant women in dealing with childbirth during the Covid-19 pandemic, especially in the work area of the Payung Sekaki Health Center Pekanbaru City. This study uses a qualitative research method with a phenomenological approach. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling, which is based on criteria that are in accordance with the research objectives. Collecting data using semi-structured interviews, and data analysis using the Colaizzi method. This study got two themes, namely: (1) Anxiety in pregnant women (2) Actions taken by pregnant women in dealing with anxiety before childbirth.Keywords: Anxiety; Third Trimester Pregnant Women; Covid-19 Pandemic; Pregnant Women's Actions.

Abstract

Nurses as a professional worker in the hospital are vulnerable of getting stress that causes physiologies, psychologies, and behavior disorder. The purpose of this study is to analyze and to review the differences working stress level of the nurses in intensive and non-intensive room. Literature review method is used in this study. The sources of the data are articles in data base used google scholar and science direct with “working stress”, “intensive nurse” or “emergency nurse”, and “patient ward” or “non-intensive nurse” as key words. There are in total 1.142 articles. 10 articles were obtained after filtered using inclusion criteria in period 2015 to 2020. The result of working stress level of the nurses in intensive room is mostly in middle level, and the working stress level of the nurses in non-intensive room is zero. It can be concluded that there are differences working stress level of the nurses in intensive and non-intensive room. It is recommended that the nurses should have stress managing so that they are able to give better service to the patients quickly and effectively.Keywords: nurse, working stress

Abstract

Abstrak Ibu menyusui yang bekerja memiliki beban ganda, dimana selain menjadi ibu dan menyusui anaknya, ibu dituntut untuk tetap bekerja di luar rumah. Ibu menyusui yang bekerja membutuhkan dukungan dari keluarga, teman kerja dan tempat kerja agar dapat tetap memberikan ASI eksklusif dan bekerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran dukungan menyusui eksklusif pada ibu yang bekerja. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan desain survey. Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 50 orang dengan teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu insidental sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner dukungan keluarga, dukungan teman kerja dan dukungan tempat kerja serta analisis yang digunakan yaitu analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dukungan keluarga yang diperoleh ibu bekerja rendah 60,0%, dukungan teman kerja yang rendah 66,0%, dan dukungan tempat kerja yang rendah yaitu 80,0%. Dukungan untuk menyusui eksklusif  rendah terutama dari keluarga, teman kerja, dan tempat kerja sehingga ibu bekerja yang menyusui eksklusif hanya 4,0%.Kata Kunci: dukungan; ibu bekerja; ASI  eksklusifAbstractBreastfeeding work mothers have a double burden, where in addition to being a mother and breastfeeding their children, mothers are required to continue to work outside the home. Breastfeeding mothers who work need support from family, work friends and workplaces in order to continue to provide exclusive breastfeeding and work. This study aims to determine the description of exclusive breastfeeding support for working mothers. This research is a descriptive study with a survey design. The sample in this study as many as 50 people with a sampling technique that is accidental sampling. The data was collected using a questionnaire on family support, coworkers support and workplace support and the analysis used was descriptive analysis. The results of this study indicate that the family support obtained by working mothers is low 60.0%, coworkers support is low 66.0%, and workplace support is low 80,0%. Support for exclusive breastfeeding is low, especially from family, workfriends, and workplace so working mothers who did exclusively breastfeed only 4.0%.Keywords: exclusive breastfeeding;  support; working mother

Abstract

Old age is a decline in health that has an impact on physical, mental, psychological, and spiritual health. One of the main problems that occur in the elderly is Osteoarthritis. Osteoarthritis is a degenerative disease (decreased function) in the joints that usually occurs in the hands, waist, and knees. The purpose of this study was to describe the quality of life in elderly patients with Osteoarthritis.This study was a quantitative study with a descriptive method. The sampling technique was purposive sampling with 77 respondents. The measuring instrument used is the WHOQOL BREF quality of life questionnaire. The analysis used is univariate analysis. The results of this study showed that most of the respondents were aged 60 years - 69 years (71.4%), female gender (80.5%), education status not in school and elementary school (26.0%), work status not working (77.9%), married (85.7%). The results of the quality of life of Osteoarthritis patients were mostly good (61.0%), the quality of life of Osteoarthritis patients was based on the category of physical health (67.5%), psychological health category (67.5%), social relationship category (61.0%), and environmental category (53.2%). Based on 4 categories of quality of life of Osteoarthritis patients who are already good, namely monitoring of the disease and adherence to treatment. There are 2 categories of quality of life of Osteoarthritis patients that must be improved, namely social and environmental relationships of Osteoarthritis patients.Keywords: Quality of Life;Elderly; Osteoarthritis

Abstract

Backgraound : The COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in changes in the process of life that can cause mental health problems. Especially individuals who had been in isolation COVID-19, individuals must be limited in their interactions and activities during isolation which causes a change in their situation afterwards. The purpose of this research is to get an overview of the mental health of individuals when they return to the community after isolation due to COVID-19. Methods : This research used a descriptive survey research design. The research sample was 100 respondents who were taken based on inclusion criteria using the snowball sampling technique. Result : The results showed 33 people (33%) had mental health problems. With the most complaints were PTSD symptoms(11%), the other complaints were psychologicalproblems (2%), psychotic symptoms (2%), and there was no indication of the use of addictive substances, but there were individuals who experience more than one mental health problem, the most (8%) experiencing psychological problems, psychotic symptoms and PTSD symptoms,then a psychological problems and PTSD symptoms (5%), psychotic symptoms and PTSD symptoms (4%), psychological and psychotic symptoms (1%). Conclusion : There needs to be further handling of individual mental health conditions after isolation due to COVID-19.

Abstract

Self-management pasien penyakit jantung koroner merupakan upaya mengurangi perilaku yang berisiko menimbulkan penyakit dan mempertahankan perawatan serta pengobatan agar penyakit tidak semakin parah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui gambaran self-managemenet pasien penyakit jantung koroner pasca kateterisasi jantung. Penelitian ini  menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan jumlah responden 30 orang dan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan mayoritas responden berumur 46-55 tahun yaitu 15 responden (50%), jenis kelamin responden mayoritas adalah laki-laki yaitu 20 responden (66,7%), status pendidikan responden mayoritas adalah pendidikan menengah yaitu 12 responden (20%), status pekerjaan mayoritas adalah bekerja yaitu 18 responden (60%), dan lama waktu pasca kateterisasi jantung paling banyak di enam bulan terakhir yaitu 9 responden (30%). Hasil self-integration pada responden seluruhnya adalah kategori sedang yaitu 24 responden (80%), self-regulation mayoritas adalah kategori baik yaitu 18 responden (60%), interaction with health professionals and significant other mayoritas adalah kategori baik yaitu 22 responden (73,3%), self-monitoring mayoritas adalah kategori baik 21 responden (70%), selanjutnya Adherence to Recommended Regimen mayoritas adalah kategori baik yaitu 25 responden (83,3%), dan hasil self-management responden mayoritas adalah kategori baik yaitu 16 responden (53,3%). Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi masukan terhadap penderita penyakit jantung koroner agar melakukan perubahan terhadap integrasi kesehatannya seperti berhenti merokok, menghindari makan tinggi lemak, olahraga jalan kaki minimal 30 menit sehari, dan melakukan menejemen stres.

Abstract

Pendahuluan: Pengetahuan yang adekuat dan tepat tentang vaksinasi Covid-19 untuk ibu hamil diduga dapat menurunkan kecemasan ibu hamil untuk melakukan vaksinasi Covid-19. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran pengetahuan ibu hamil tentang vaksinasi Covid-19 di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Payung Sekaki Pekanbaru. Metode: Penelitian ini dilakukan di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Payung Sekaki Kota Pekanbaru. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian jenis deskriptif dengan desain cross sectional. Sampel penelitian ini sebanyak 75 responden yang diambil berdasarkan kriteria inklusi menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner yang telah di uji validitas dan realibilitasnya. Analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis univariat. Hasil: Dari 75 responden yang diteliti, mayoritas ibu berada pada usia 26-35 tahun yaitu 49,3%, mayoritas ibu berada pada usia kehamilan tirmester 2 yaitu 53,3%, dengan pendidikan terakhir ibu SMA 54,7%, mayoritas agama ibu islam 52%, mayoritas pekerjaan ibu sebagai IRT 54%, 72% ibu sudah mendapat informasi tentang vaksin Covid-19 dengan sumber informasi mayoritas dari keluarga 25,3%. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan mayoritas pengetahuan ibu hamil cukup yaitu sebanyak 40 orang (53,3%).
