Abstract

 Profit optimization became one of the main goals of the production process of home industry. A maximum profit can be achieved with proper planning of production. In the process of implementation, production planning has many constraints such as lot sizing, limited stock, overtime work and the many products derived from the same source. To address the problem, we develop computer software using a heuristic method called evolution strategy (ES). ES has capability to solve optimization problems with nearly optimal results. The result of the calculation process of evolution strategy algorithm was compared with data from the source. Computational analysis shows that ES produces a production plan that has profit of Rp 5,324,000. It is bigger than manual production plan that has profit of Rp 2,747,000. Keywords: home industry, profit, optimization, production, evolution strategies

Abstract

This research studied the application of multitrip vehicle routing problem with time windows (VRPTW) on the problems of the tourist routes in Banyuwangi. The problems of ordinary VRPTW has only one route to the finish line that will be targeted with specific time limits while the multi-trip VRPTW has several tourist routes and one central point as the reference point for determining the route of the tour as well as the deadline for each tour. Genetic algorithm used to solve this problem because it can overcome the problem of combinatorial effectively and efficiently, moreover it can reach solutions globally so that it can produce the optimum solution. Chromosome on the Genetic Algorithm represents the permutation of the overall tour. After decoding there are three chromosome segments created, where each segment represents a visit of tourist attractions in one day. This research provides the optimal result i.e. a solution route with the shortest commute time and a fast computing time so it is very helpful in determining the route of the tourist trips with the closest mileage based on their places to stay (centre point).

Abstract

The purpose of distribution is accelerating the delivery and equity of goods in various regions. However, the most common problem especially in fertilizer distribution is a high cost distribution in delivery caused by the route and vehicle selection used are less precise and less to maximize the capacity of the vehicle. Several researches have been done using a variety of methods to minimize distribution costs, one of which is the Evolution Strategies algorithm. This research uses permutation representation which is divided into two segments for representate solution. This research using (μ + λ) ES cycle, elitism selection and exchange mutation. Based on this research results, parameters with the best fitness value is the population size of 80, the number of offspring 5, the number of generations of 80, and the composition segments are 30% of segment 1, 20% of segment 2, and 50% for both segments.

Abstract

In the field of dentistry there are many types / variants of dental diseases emerging that make doctors and medical students may face difficulty to identify of dental diseases. In this study, a computers application is developed as a tool for doctors and medical students to identify various types of dental disease accurately. Fuzzy inference system is used an identification method. The method uses symptoms of dental disease as input parameters. Dental disease identification system using Fuzzy Inference System with Minmax. The parameters used to limit the fuzzy membership functions based on expert opinion. The accuracy of the system is calculated by comparing the output system with expert judgment. Experimental results show that the system is built to produce 85% accuracy.

Abstract

Vehicle Routing Problem with Time Windows (VRPTW) is a combinatorial problem which is used to determine the route of a goods distribution from depots (distribution center) to customers scattered in various points of the site. VRPTW is an extension of the VRP with constraints the limitations on the capacity of goods and every customer have time interval of service [ ] or time windows. In this study, the hybrid genetic algorithm with nearest insertion heuristic is used as one of the search alternative solutions. The implementation for this case, 50% initial solution was generated using nearest insertion heuristic method and 50% rest are generated by randomly. This completion is tested in a set of Solomons problem. The results of this study are compared with the best known solution of Solomon using 2 sets of test data from each data type such as C1, C2, R1, R2, RC1, dan RC2 with 25, 50 and 100 customers. The results show that the implementation of hybrid genetic algorithm and the nearest insertion heuristic gives solutions which is nearly optimal or approaching the best known of Solomon for data type C101, C105, C201, R101, RC101 dan RC102.

Abstract

A house selling price can be determined by two methods, financially and technically. Hovewer, the selling price that determined by the methods are often different. It makes the manager having a problem when determining the house final selling price accurately. This paper proposes Sugeno Fuzzy Inference System (FIS) to calculate an accurate price. To get better result, Hill Climbing Algorithms is used to optimize the membership function of Sugeno FIS. A series of computational experimens prove that the approach is effective. Hill Climbing Algorithms can improve the accuracy of results.

Abstract

A maximum profit is the main goal of each production processes in industry. However, the profit is limited by the availability of production material and investment fund. The producer should determine the volume of each product types (hijab) to get a maximum profit while considering various production constraints. This study proposes genetic algorithm to obtain an appropriate production volume. Computational experiments are conducted to get the best parameters for the genetic algorithm. By using the best parameters, the proposed algorithm results the combination of product types that should be produced with maximum profit and lowest constraints violation.

Abstract

Nowadays, 30% of Indonesian consume frozen foods because it is more practical and efficient. The increase of demand requires a good distribution system. The distribution problem can be solved using genetic algorithms. Crossover method used in this study is one-cut point crossover, the mutation method used is reciprocal exchange mutation and the selection method used is elitism selection. The data used in this study is 15 of customers, 11 of product types, 5 vehicles and distance data between regions. From the tests, we found that optimal results are achieved using the population size of 1950, 700 generations, a combination of crossover rate (cr) = 0.5 and mutation rate (mr) = 0.6. The final result is a combination of the customer and vehicle order that distribute all products to all customers with the minimum total distance and cost.

Abstract

Secara umum, penentuan harga jual rumah ditentukan oleh dua bagian yaitu bagian teknik dan bagian keuangan. Namun seringkali harga jual yang didapatkan pada bagian ini berbeda sehingga menyebabkan manager melakukan perhitungan ulang dari kedua hasil tersebut. Untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan tersebut, maka perlu dibuat suatu sistem yang dapat menghitung harga jual secara akurat. Dalam paper ini, harga jual rumah ditentukan menggunakan sistem inferensi fuzzy Tsukamoto. Namun penggunaan logika fuzzy saja masih memungkinkan mendapatkan error yang relative besar. Untuk memperkecil nilai error maka digunakan algoritma genetika untuk menentukan batasan nilai fungsi keanggotaan yang sesuai. Dari pengujian yang dilakukan didapatkan kesimpulan bahwa penggunaan algoritma genetika mampu memperkecil error secara signifikan.

Abstract

Forecasting of minimum living needs is useful for companies in financial planning next year. In this study, the firescasting is done using automatic clustering and optimized fuzzy logical relationships. Automatic clustering is used to form a sub-interval time series data. Particle swarm optimization is used to set and optimze interval values in fuzzy logical relationships. The data used as many as 11 years of historical data from 2005-2015. The optimal value of the test results obtained by the p = 4, the number of iterations = 100, the number of particles = 45, a combination of Vmin and Vmax = [-0.6, 0.6], as well as combinations Wmax and Wmin = [0, 4, 0 , 8]. These parameters values produce good forecasting results.Keywords: minimum living needs, automatic clustering, particle swarm optimization, fuzzy logical relationships
