Abstract

Insurance companies rely on premium payments as their primary source of revenue. However, economic instability often causes delays in premium payments, impacting revenue recording. This study applies the C4.5 Decision Tree algorithm to classify insurance customers based on premium amount, age, income, and claim history, thereby improving product recommendations. The research utilizes data mining techniques to analyze customer attributes and generate decision rules for optimal insurance product selection. The findings indicate that customers with a premium of IDR 500,000 are best suited for PRUMed Cover (PMC), while those with IDR 1,000,000 are recommended PRUCritical Benefit 88 (PCB88). For customers with IDR 750,000, additional factors such as age and income level influence the recommended insurance type. The entropy and information gain calculations identify premium amount as the most significant attribute for decision-making, followed by age, income, and claim history. By implementing this method, insurance companies can enhance customer segmentation, streamline product selection, and optimize marketing strategies. The transparent and interpretable decision tree structure ensures regulatory compliance while improving customer satisfaction. Future research should explore additional variables, such as behavioral data and regional trends, and compare C4.5 with other classification algorithms like Random Forest or Support Vector Machines (SVM) to enhance accuracy and scalability.

Abstract

The Air Force General Secretariat is part of the staff service element that functions under the Air Force Chief of Staff to manage the general administration system within the Air Force Headquarters. In carrying out its duties, the Air Force General Secretariat is responsible for carrying out general administration at the Air Force Headquarters level. The Air Force General Secretariat has a role in supporting leadership administration by managing correspondence, compiling manuscripts, providing support to working groups, recording minutes, and providing data and information needed for decision making. In carrying out its duties, the Air Force General Secretariat has implemented a general administrative management information system. This research discusses the implementation of a general administration management information system that supports the duties of the Indonesian Air Force, but its implementation is not yet optimal. This research uses a qualitative method with a narrative design. The results of the research show that the Air Force General Secretariat faces several obstacles in implementing the general administration management information system, such as limited capabilities of the personnel manning it, infrastructure facilities and infrastructure and the absence of software, which causes support for the implementation of the duties of the Indonesian National Army Air Force to be less than optimal. Therefore, steps are needed to overcome these obstacles so that the implementation of the general administration management information system can run optimally.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis hubungan strategi pembelajaran berdiferensiasi dengan peningkatan self-management dan emotional intelligence dalam mendukung career adaptability siswa SMK Teknik Pemesinan, yang penting untuk menghadapi tuntutan industri 4.0. Metode yang digunakan adalah Systematic Literature Review (SLR) dengan model PICOT, berdasarkan 1.050 artikel teridentifikasi (2015–2020), 150 artikel terpilih, dan 25 artikel relevan dianalisis. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran berdiferensiasi efektif meningkatkan keterampilan manajemen diri (perencanaan, pengaturan waktu, pengambilan keputusan) dan kecerdasan emosional (regulasi emosi, empati, kolaborasi). Penelitian ini menegaskan perlunya pelatihan guru untuk mengoptimalkan implementasi pembelajaran berdiferensiasi dalam pendidikan vokasi.

Abstract

Islamic education plays a crucial role in shaping a whole human being who is not only intellectually intelligent but also morally upright and spiritually profound. However, modern education often falls into a dichotomy between religious and secular sciences, resulting in moral decline and a weakened spiritual orientation among students. To address these challenges, this study examines the educational thought of Imam Al-Ghazali and Muhammad Abduh within the framework of holistic Islamic education. The aim is to compare Al-Ghazali’s concept of spirituality with Abduh’s rationalism and to explore their relevance in constructing a comprehensive Islamic education system. This research employs a qualitative descriptive method through library research, analyzing classical works of both scholars as well as secondary literature from books and academic journals. The findings reveal that Al-Ghazali emphasizes tazkiyatun nafs (purification of the soul), moral formation, and the integration of knowledge with spirituality. Meanwhile, Abduh promotes educational reform, rationality, and openness to modern sciences through ijtihad. The synthesis of their ideas suggests that ideal Islamic education must harmonize intellect and spirituality, reject the dichotomy of knowledge, and cultivate individuals who are both critical and religious. The contribution of this study lies in offering a conceptual framework for developing a contemporary Islamic curriculum that balances intellectual, spiritual, and moral dimensions.

Abstract

The Air Force Doctrine, Education, and Training Development Command holds responsibility for air operations and personnel training, as well as managing the land assets under its control. One of the air bases is Sulaiman Air Force Base. In managing land assets, several challenges are encountered, particularly in terms of how the land assets are utilized, safeguarded, and optimized to provide greater benefits, especially in increasing Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP). The purpose of this study is to review the management of land assets at Sulaiman Air Force Base and identify the improvements needed to maximize their utilization, security, and contribution to Non-Tax State Revenue. This research employs a qualitative method with a descriptive design, and data collection is carried out using strategies to assess how the land assets can be optimized for Non-Tax State Revenue. The study finds that the management of land assets at Sulaiman Air Force Base is still not optimal, with several key issues identified: the current condition of land asset utilization, challenges in land asset management, the potential of underutilized land assets, and strategies for optimization to enhance Non-Tax State Revenue. A comprehensive strategy is needed, including detailed asset inventory and verification, resolution of legal issues, partnerships with third parties, and continuous monitoring and supervision to ensure proper management of land assets at Sulaiman Air Force Base.

Abstract

This study analyzes the thermal performance of a shell and tube type oil cooler installed in the generator of the KM Trans Mitramas 5 fishing vessel, located in Samudera Bitung Fishing Port, North Sulawesi. Using the Finite Element Analysis (FEA) method and ANSYS simulation, the study investigates how thermal loads, derived from different power levels (70 kW, 130 kW, and 200 kW), affect heat transfer effectiveness and temperature distribution. The results show increasing Log Mean Temperature Difference (LMTD) and hotspot patterns correlating with higher thermal loads. Simulation findings confirm the oil cooler’s capability to stabilize oil temperature under varying loads, with LMTD values of 38.12°C, 53.00°C, and 56.18°C respectively. The system remains efficient, though routine maintenance and proper material selection are recommended for long-term performance

Abstract

Metrologi Industri merupakan sebuah ilmu yang dipelajari sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan kualitas produk hasil industri manufaktur. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan lembar Kerja Peserta Didik mata pelajaran Metrologi Industri Berbasis Lomba Kompetensi Siswa serta menganalisis tingkat kelayakan pada produk pengembangan yang dihasilkan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian R&D (Research and Development) atau penelitian pengembangan yang dimana dilakukan dengan mengadaptasi model pengembangan ADDIE yaitu terdiri dari analisis (Analyze), desain (Design), pengembangan (Development), implementasi (Implement), dan evaluasi (Evaluate). Tingkat kelayakan yang diperoleh dari produk LKPD Metrologi Industri berbasis Lomba Kompetensi Siswa sangat baik, dimana pada aspek isi/materi dan pembelajaran mendapatkan nilai 87,2%, pada aspek teknis dan desain mendapat nilai 96,6%, pada proses uji coba oleh siswa kelas XI Teknik Pemesinan SMK Nasional Malang kelompok kecil mendapat nilai 86%, dan kelompok besar mendapatkan nilai 87%. Produk LKPD Metrologi Industri yang telah dikembangkan dapat digunakan oleh guru dan siswa sebagai alternatif media pembelajaran yang menunjang pada proses pembelajaran Metrologi Industri.

Abstract

Robotika merupakan perkembangan teknologi revolusi industri 4.0, dimana semua data dan pekerjaan telah terintegrasi dengan sistem digitalisasi dan otomatisasi menggunakan perangkat robotik. Matakuliah Mekatronika dan Robotika bertujuan untuk menyiapkan kompetensi dalam menghadapi revolusi industri 4.0. Sehingga dibutuhkan bahan ajar untuk mempelajari ilmu serta kompetensi tentang robotika. Bahan ajar robotika ini dikembangkan dengan model pengembangan Borg&Gall yang telah dimodifikasi menjadi 7 tahapan, yaitu: (1) Studi pendahuluan; (2) Desain produk; (3) Uji coba kecil; (4) Revisi; (5) Uji coba Besar; (6) Revisi; dan (7) Produk Akhir. Berdasarkan hasil validasi media, validasi materi, uji coba kecil dan uji coba besar disimpulkan bahwa bahan ajar yang dikembangkan sangat baik dan dapat digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran Matakuliah Mekatronika dan Robotika.

Abstract

The Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs believes that Indonesia is experiencing an increase in exports, particularly in the fisheries sector. This is very important because Indonesian waters consist of 44.7% fish, and fisheries are one of Indonesia's key commodity advantages. However, abundant natural resources alone do not guarantee that a nation will become superior if not accompanied by good human resources as well. The issue of fish drying is a crucial problem in the fish processing sector, including for UKM Jaya Utama in Probolinggo City. UKM Jaya Utama still uses traditional drying methods, relying on sunlight as the main drying tool. As a result, UKM Jaya Utama faces drying challenges during the rainy season. The cartridge heater-based fish dryer machine is a machine specially designed for drying and preservation, offering an alternative solution for fish drying during the rainy season and extending the shelf life of the fish. The research method used was an R&D approach with mackerel fish as the research sample, with a capacity of 10 to 15 kg per drying cycle. The machine trial results showed improved work efficiency by reducing the drying duration from 6 hours without the machine to just 2 hours, with potential profit increases of up to 3.6 times.

Abstract

ABSTRAKCrashworthiness dapat diartikan sebagai kemampuan dari suatu material untuk bertahan dari kehancuran yang berkelanjutan serta mempertahankan beberapa bagian material setelah terjadinya tumbukan. Telah banyak penelitian yang menunjukkan bahwa material dengan struktur honeycomb sandwich memiliki sifat crasworthiness yanga baik. Komposit bermatriks polimer (PMC) adalah material yang sangat sesuai untuk pembuatan honeycomb sandwich structure karena memiliki sifat yang ulet dan ringan. Kedua sifat ini akan menghasilkan material yang memiliki sifat crahworthiness yang baik dengan bobot yang ringan. Dalam penelitian ini dilakukan simulasi dengan software Ansys untuk mendapatkan sifat crashworthiness dari specimen material dengan stuktur honeycomb sandwich dengan tiga variasi lapisan inti honeycomb, yaitu 1 lapisan inti, 2 lapisan inti dan 3 lapisan inti. Ketiga variasi specimen dibuat dengan bahan komposit fibreglass. Metoda pengujian yang disimulasikan dalam software adalah metoda vertical drop test. Parameter crashworthiness yang ingin didapatkan adalah defleksi maksimum yang terjadi dan energi maksimum yang dapat diserap oleh material dengan struktur honeycomb sandwich. Performa terbaik ditunjukkan oleh specimen dengan 3 lapisan inti dengan defleksi terkecil, yaitu sebesar  3,83 mm dengan waktu 0,0015 detik, dan serapan energy terbesar, yaitu sebesar 125,62 Joule dalam waktu 0,0015 detik.  Kata kunci : Honeycomb sandwich, crashworthiness, komposit fiberglass, defleksi, energiABSTRACTCrashworthiness can be defined as the ability of a material to withstand continued destruction as well as retaining some parts of the material after a collision. Many studies have shown that material with a honeycomb sandwich structure have good crashworthiness properties. Polimer matrix composite is suitable for aking honeycomb sandwich structure because it has ductile properties and linght in weight. Both properties are perfect for obtaining material with good crashworthiness properties and light in weight. In this research, simulations were carried out using Ansys software to obtain the crashworthinesss properties of material with a honeycomb sandwich structure with three variations of honeycomb core, namely 1core lyer, 2 core layers and 3 core layers. The specimens with three variations were made with fiberglass composite material. The testing method that was simulated in the software is the vertical drop test method. The crasjworthiness to be obtained are the maximum deflection that occurs and the maximumenergy that can be absorb by a material with a honecomb sandwich structure. The best performance was shown by the specimen with 3 core layer with the smallest deflectrion of 3.83mm and thelargest energy absorbtion of 125.62 Joulein 0.0015 seconds    Keywords: Honeycomb sandwich, crashworthiness, fiberglass composite, deflection, energy.
