Abstract

This community service program aims to enhance the productivity of the "Ayang" cowhide cracker business in Mataram through packaging and product innovation. The program is motivated by the challenges faced by the partner, who struggles with limited packaging capabilities, hindering the growth of product sales. The activities carried out include counseling and mentoring sessions to guide the partner in selecting and packaging products effectively, as well as conducting market research to gather consumer feedback on the new packaging. As a result of these efforts, the partner experienced a shift in mindset regarding the importance of packaging innovation and gained insight into effective packaging options, prompting a willingness to improve packaging to boost sales productivity. It is hoped that this initiative will motivate the partner to continue innovating, learning, and exploring new knowledge related to other marketing strategies, such as product promotion and distribution.

Abstract

The existence of a waste processing site is very urgent because what is currently happening is a landfill that accumulates waste. Then there was the waste bank as one of the waste processing sites in Pematang Pudu Village, Mandau District, Bengkalis Regency. But it has not been able to optimally manage waste, where the population of Mandau District is 150,806 people while Pematang Pudu Village is 29,986 people and the potential for waste is 15 tons per day. So far, only 0.5 tons of waste banks can manage per day. So it is necessary to make a breakthrough by building TPS3R which has a larger capacity, at least 2 tons per day. This capacity can continue to be developed and be able to create job opportunities for the community.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of regional financial management on employment dynamics in Indonesia using secondary data from 2019 to 2023. This study focuses on three main components of finance, namely Regional Original Revenue, Balance Fund, and Regional Expenditure, and analyzes their effects on employment indicators such as the Open Unemployment Rate and the Labor Force Participation Rate. The results show that although these financial variables have a high correlation with labor market outcomes, the individual effects of these variables are often not statistically significant, indicating challenges in the effectiveness of current fiscal policies in reducing unemployment and increasing labor force participation. Problems such as multicollinearity and autocorrelation are identified, so better financial management strategies are needed This research study investigates how regional financial management affects employment dynamics in Indonesia, using data from 2019 to 2023. The study focuses on three main financial components: Regional Original Revenue, Balance Fund, and Regional Expenditure, and analyzes their impact on employment indicators such as the Open Unemployment Rate and the Labor Force Participation Rate. The results indicate that while these financial variables correlate highly with labor market outcomes, their individual effects are often not statistically significant. This suggests challenges in the effectiveness of current fiscal policies in reducing unemployment and increasing labor force participation. The study identifies issues such as multicollinearity and autocorrelation, highlighting the need for improved financial management strategies to align with employment goals. It emphasizes the importance of policy reforms to optimize the role of regional finance in promoting inclusive employment growth, particularly in response to Indonesia's unique economic structure and post-pandemic challenges. Abstract

In its efforts to address the threat of terrorism, Indonesia faces a significant challenge in balancing national security with the protection of human rights. This study examines the potential for human rights violations during the arrest of suspected terrorists on Lombok Island, a strategic region and international tourism destination in West Nusa Tenggara. The primary focus of this research is on non-compliance with international and domestic legal standards, including arrests without clear legal grounds, the use of torture, and detention without due judicial process. Changes in anti-terrorism regulations, as outlined in Law No. 5 of 2018 on the Eradication of Terrorism Crimes, raise concerns that arrest procedures may erode public trust in law enforcement agencies and affect social and economic impacts. This study finds that the lack of proper legal procedures and safeguards during the arrest of suspected terrorists often results in violations of both international human rights norms and domestic legal frameworks. The findings highlight the need to uphold human rights within law enforcement practices, alongside an urgent review of anti-terrorism regulations to prevent abuses. Strengthening accountability mechanisms is critical for restoring public trust and ensuring that counter-terrorism efforts do not compromise fundamental freedoms.

Abstract

This study aims to thoroughly describe virtual reality in the biology learning sector in general, the use of VR has been in the spotlight in the last two decades. This study conducted an in-depth bibliometric analysis using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method to identify research trends, most frequently researched topics and major contributions in this field based on 24 collected articles indexed by scopus between 2003-2023. We conducted bibliometric analysis using RStudio and VOSviewer. There was the highest increase for virtual reality research in 2021, which is the experience of the corona pandemic in various sectors. The largest average citation was in 2014. Based on the results of the analysis using RStudio and VOSviewer, the keywords virtual reality and biology have been widely carried out and are interrelated with computer programs, but for general biology learning it is still rare so that it can be used as a recommendation for further research gaps. By considering the findings from the bibliometric analysis, this study can provide practical recommendations, summaries and opportunities to find further research gaps. This literature review also underlines how VR research in biology has filled existing knowledge gaps and provided new insights into learning complex biological concepts. Recent studies, especially post-pandemic, have increasingly emphasized the pedagogical effectiveness of VR in improving student engagement, concept understanding, and learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the level of Brand Awareness of Sukarara woven fabric motifs among domestic tourists. The method used in this study is a quantitative survey with data collection through questionnaires distributed to tourists visiting the area. The research sample consisted of 120 respondents selected through non-probability sampling techniques. The results of the study indicate that the level of Brand Awareness of Sukarara woven fabric motifs is at the brand recall level which is included in the high category, with an average value of 2.89 which is on a scale of 2.52 - 3.27. This finding indicates that domestic tourists have recognized and remembered Sukarara woven fabric motifs, although the product has not been the main choice when buying woven fabrics. This study provides important insights for craftsmen and marketers to formulate more effective marketing strategies to increase the attractiveness and relevance of Sukarara woven fabrics in the market so that they can transform from being simply recognized to being the main choice among consumers. Thus, this study is expected to contribute to the development of the local weaving industry and cultural preservation through increased brand awareness.

Abstract

This research examines user reviews on Google Maps concerning the services of the Regional General Hospital (RSUD) in the West Nusa Tenggara Province (NTB). The research focuses on identifying rating patterns and predominant themes emerging within the reviews, as well as analyzing the differences in review length across different star ratings. Data were extracted from 112 reviews, ranging from 1 to 5 star ratings. A content analysis method was employed to categorize reviews based on themes and the assigned star ratings. Results indicate that reviews with 4 to 5 star ratings tend to be positive and elaborate on satisfying experiences, particularly in relation to friendly medical services and a comfortable environment. Conversely, low-rated reviews tend to be negative, primarily concerning poor services and inadequate facilities. The analysis of review length reveals significant variation among star ratings, with 1 star ratings yielding the longest reviews characterized by narratives abundant in disappointment and grievances. These findings underscore the significance of professional service and quality facilities in cultivating a positive user experience within hospital settings.
