Abstract

Prostitution is a sexual relationship between men and women without being bound by a legal marriage. The practice of prostitution continues to be a problem until now and has become one of the professions and business fields for economic purposes. If left unchecked, it will cause an increase in the number of sexually transmitted diseases. The formulation of the problem in this study is how to evaluate the Tangerang City Regional Regulation Number 8 of 2005 concerning the Prohibition of Prostitution. The research method in this thesis is a qualitative descriptive approach, this study uses analysis through interviews, observations, and document studies. The theory used in this study is the policy evaluation theory according to William N. Dunn (2003:610) which consists of 6 components, namely effectiveness, efficiency, adequacy, equality, responsiveness and accuracy. Based on the results of the study on the evaluation of the Tangerang City Regional Regulation Number 8 of 2005 concerning the Prohibition of Prostitution, its implementation has run smoothly, but there are several things that need to be optimized comprehensively in terms of effectiveness, during the process of enforcing this Regional Regulation, information leaks often occur which cause PSKs not to be optimally caught. Next, efficiency, Guidance carried out in the form of overcoming the negative impacts of Regional Regulation Number 8 of 2005 seems less than optimal due to the limited capacity of the Shelter House and the existence of equality, in the implementation of Tangerang City Regional Regulation Number 8 of 2005, namely in the Regional Regulation only regulates perpetrators of the opposite sex, but perpetrators of the same sex are not regulated in the Regional Regulation. Many perpetrators of the same sex or homosexuals also violate the Regional Regulation. If left alone, it is possible that this will happen which will increase the number of sexually transmitted diseases. In this component, the implementation of Tangerang City Regional Regulation Number 8 of 2005 concerning the Prohibition of Prostitution in Karawaci District seems smooth, but in reality it has not run with optimal results.

Abstract

The problem of unemployment is a big and serious problem in Indonesia, including in Tangerang Regency. Unemployment occurs because the number of job seekers is greater than the number of jobs. However, in reality, Tangerang Regency actually has the most employment opportunities or industry, as well as the unemployment rate, resulting in an imbalance of resources. Presidential Decree No. 4 of 1980 regarding the obligation to report job vacancies is still not implemented properly, so the Tangerang Regency Manpower Office implements Regional Regulation No. 12 of 2016 concerning employment which is obliged to organize job training and FKLPID forums in its collaboration. In this case, it was found that there was no community involvement in the forum and there was a lack of participation by industrial companies in the job training program so that a sense of dependency in collaboration had not been formed. Abstract

This study aims to develop an instrument to assess the effectiveness of a religious character education program in addressing the moral degradation of students. The research employs a development model (research and design) based on primary data collected through a questionnaire consisting of 20 statements aligned with 10 indicators of character education. These indicators include understanding religious values, internalization of values, honesty, responsibility, tolerance, consistency in religious attitudes, social care, discipline in spiritual relationships, and satisfaction with the program. The research instrument uses a rating scale ranging from 1 to 5 and is validated by three education experts from the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP). The sample consists of 25 first-semester students from the 2024-2025 academic year, class 1A of the Agribusiness Department, Faculty of Agriculture, Untirta. Data analysis includes content validity testing using Aiken’s V formula and intraclass correlation coefficients (ICC) for reliability testing. Empirical validity testing employs product moment analysis, and reliability testing uses Cronbach's alpha, analyzed using SPSS version 23. The findings reveal that: (1) Based on the content validity test, out of 20 statement items, 16 items demonstrate very high validity, and 4 items show 2 high validity, with an average content validity score of 1.000, interpreted as very high. The reliability test using intraclass correlation coefficients (ICC) yields an average measure of 0.971, indicating excellent instrument reliability. (2) From the empirical test results, out of 20 items, 19 items are valid, and 1 item is invalid, with a Cronbach's alpha value of 0.853 (>0.7), confirming the instrument's reliability. Therefore, the validated questionnaire consisting of 20 items is deemed suitable for measuring the effectiveness of the religious character education program

Abstract

The tuberculosis (TB) cases in Cibeber District are the highest compared to all other districts in Lebak Regency. This elevated number is caused by several factors, including low levels of community education, strong social stigma, and unfavorable social and economic conditions in the area. This study aims to examine the implementation of the TB Elimination Program in support of the Third Pillar of SDGs (Good Health and Well-being) in Cibeber District. The approach used is qualitative with a case study design, analyzing various factors such as policy targets, resources, implementation characteristics, attitudes of implementers, inter-organizational communication, external conditions (social, economic, and political), and the DOTS strategy. Data were collected through observations and interviews with nine categories of informants, including key informants from the Prevention and Control of Communicable Diseases (P3M) Section of the Lebak District Health Office, the Disease Surveillance and Control Division of PKM Citorek, the Health Promotion Division of PKM Citorek, the TB Officer (PJ) of PKM Citorek, representatives from the Penabulu Foundation - STPI (Stop Tuberculosis Partnership Indonesia) Lebak Banten, and health academics. Secondary informants included TB cadres from Cibeber District, community leaders, and TB patients from Cibeber District, along with literature studies and documentation. The data were analyzed using data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing techniques. The results indicate that the program is not yet running optimally due to low community awareness, social stigma, limited human resources and facilities, and uneven medication distribution. Although inter-organizational coordination and communication are good, community participation remains low, and unstable socio-economic conditions hinder the achievement of targets. Additionally, the DOTS strategy has not been fully effective due to limitations in diagnostic tools such as the GeneXpert (CBNAAT) and the need to improve the performance of medication supervisors (PMO). These findings highlight the importance of increasing community education, reducing social stigma, and optimizing resources and support systems to ensure the success of the TB elimination program in Cibeber District

Abstract

Structuring traditional markets is an important step to improve infrastructure, governance, and the market environment to make it more orderly, safe, clean, and comfortable for traders and buyers. However, efforts to organise traditional markets in Serang City are still not optimal. One of the markets that needs restructuring is Karangantu Market, which is rundown, narrow, with minimal facilities and poorly maintained. The purpose of this research is to explain the Strategy for Structuring Traditional Markets in the Department of Trade and Industry of Serang City (Case Study of Karangantu Traditional Market). This research uses the theory (Rangkuti, 2021), namely IFAS and EFAS matrix analysis and SWOT matrix analysis consisting of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. The results showed that the structuring strategy carried out was not optimal and there was no selection of the right strategy to support the success of market structuring. Therefore, it is recommended that the Department of Trade and Industry of Serang City improve the basic facilities of Margaluyu Market as a relocation location, re-evaluate the relocation location based on accessibility and market potential, conduct integrated and firm supervision and arrangement of street vendors, and develop Karangantu Market into a clean, healthy, and environmentally friendly green market in order to increase the competitiveness of traditional markets
