Abstract

This study aims to determine the description of the implementation of differentiated learning strategies through fun cooking activities. This type of research is a qualitative approach descriptive method of analysis. The instruments used are observation sheets to evaluate teacher actions and observation sheets, checklists and serial photos for student assessment. This research was conducted at Wahdah Islamiyah Integrated Islamic Kindergarten 01 Makassar with the research subject of group B children (5-6 years old). This research is a class action research, so the information reviewed in this article is concrete data that occurs in the research location. This research focuses on the differentiated learning process that focuses on four main components, namely differentiation of content, process, product and learning environment designed by the teacher in the teaching module based on the results of the initial assessment. The problem obtained in school learning is the role of teachers who are still lacking in understanding differentiated learning strategies so that learning is still confessional, not involving children in exploring the learning environment more deeply and meaningfully. Efforts to adjust learning based on children's learning needs specifically on children's learning readiness, interests and learning profiles are very important to be a concern because each child has unique characteristics that require different teacher stimulation for each child according to their learning needs. The results show that the implementation of differentiated learning strategies through fun cooking activities is very good for presenting more enjoyable, meaningful learning that not only improves the developmental aspects or competencies of students but children's interest and motivation to learn can develop more optimally.

Abstract

Math play is a learning activity that can develop children's basic cognitive math skills in the early stages. In addition, math play is also able to improve children's cognitive abilities in solving problems, as well as the ability to measure / estimate, know and distinguish space concepts. This study aims to develop children's potential mathematical knowledge through play activities. This research is a classroom action research with a two-cycle work procedure consisting of the stages of planning action, doing, observing and reflecting. The results of the research in cycle I showed that in the first cycle of 15 children, there were 8 children who had not developed (53.3%), 3 children began to develop (20%), 2 children developed as expected (13.3%), and 2 children developed very well (13.3%). Whereas in cycle II it was seen that this activity was greatly improved so that there was no need for repetition of learning again, namely out of 15 children, there were 0 children who had not developed (0%), 1 child began to develop (6.6%), 1 child developed as expected (6.6%), and 13 children developed very well (86.6%). This shows that play activities are able to increase mathematical knowledge in the field of cognitive development

Abstract

This study aims to find out the impact of the use of digital comic learning media on the development of expressive language of children at Wihdatul Ummah Makassar. The research approach used is a quantitative approach to the type of pre-experimental research. The population in this study is 5-6 years old children at Wihdatul Ummah Makassar TKIT as 52 children. The technique used in the sampling here is Systematic Sampling, a sample in this study consisting of 15 children. Data collection techniques in research are interviews, observations and documentation/archive reports. Verification of validity of findings in research is descriptive statistical analysis and non-parametric statistical analyses. The analysis of data obtained from the pre-test results received an average score of 9.47, whereas from the posttest results a mean score of 17, this suggests that there is a significant change in the development of the expressive language of the child before and after the given digital comic learning media. Based on the Wilcoxom Sign Rank Test obtained Asymp Sig. (2- tailed) 0.001 < 0.05 then it can be concluded there is an influence of the use of digital comic learning media on the development of expressive language of children in Wihdatul Ummah Makassar.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the storytelling method using picture books in improving the language skills of children aged 5-6 years. The research method used was a pseudo-experiment with a pretest-posttest control group design. The research subjects consisted of 30 children who were divided into two groups, namely the experimental group and the control group. The experimental group was given an intervention in the form of a storytelling method with picture books for 8 weeks, while the control group did not get in-tervention. The results showed that there was a significant increase in children's language skills in the experimental group compared to the control group. This improvement was measured through language proficiency test instruments covering aspects of vocabulary, comprehension, and language expression. Statistical analysis showed a p value <0.05, indicating that the storytelling method with picture books is effective in improving the language skills of children aged 5-6 years. This study implies that the picture book storytelling method can be used as an alternative in the language learning process in early childhood. In addition, this study also suggests that educators and parents should be more active in using picture books as a medium to develop children's language skills.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman kepada guru dan orang tua di sekolah TK Islam Uminda Makassar dalam bentuk seminar parenting yang terkait dengan pembentukan karakter anak di era digital. Pendidikan karakter merupakan sebuah usaha untuk memahami, peduli, serta melaksanakan segala ketentuan yang ada. Hasil studi pendahuluan dengan beberapa guru dan orang rua di sekolah diketahui bahwa pembentukan karakter yang diterapkan khususnya di era digital masih kurang. Hasil yang di capai setelah kegiatan seminar parenting ini adalah 1) orang tua dengan antusias datang untuk menyimak materi yang disampaikan, 2) peningkatan pemahaman guru dan orang tua dalam membentuk karakter anak di era digital, 3) hasil menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan seminar parenting ini dinilai sangat baik.

Abstract

The major goal of this study is to examine how Project Play affects young children's creativity. This was accomplished using a quasi-experimental design and a quantitative research methodology. A total of 30 kids were enrolled in the study, and a sample size of 24 was split into two groups: 12 were in the experimental group and 12 were in the control group. The experimental group's data analysis included descriptive statistical techniques and a non-parametric assessment of the children's creative abilities. A test statistic of -3.063 and a two-tailed p-value of 0.002—both less than the significance level of 0.05—showed a significant difference in originality between the groups. These findings imply that children exposed to Project Play activities that used natural materials as a medium demonstrated greater creativity than the control group. In conclusion, engaging in project play activities with natural materials has a significant impact on the creativity of children at Wahyu Kindergarten.

Abstract

Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh teknik token ekonomi terhadap kemandirian anak usia lima dan enam tahun di TK Wahyu Kabupaten Gowa. Strategi kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian Quasi Experiment Design digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Penelitian ini melibatkan tiga puluh dua siswa TK Wahyu di Kabupaten Gowa, yang berusia lima hingga enam tahun. Purposive sampling adalah metode pengambilan sampel penelitian ini, sehingga menghasilkan total 24 sampel, 12 setiap kelompok terdiri dari dua belas anak. Analisis non parametrik dan juga analisis statistik deskriptif digunakan sebagai metode yang untuk memperoleh data. Hasil kemandirian anak kelompok eksperimen diperoleh nilai Z sebesar -3,068 dan sig(2-tailed) nilainya sebesar 0,002 < 0,05 hasil output uji Wilcoxon. Diperolah bahwa kemandirian anak berbeda-beda sebelum dan sesudah mendapat perlakuan berdasarkan temuan penelitian. Diketahui penggunaan teknik token ekonomi di TK Wahyu Kabupaten Gowa berpengaruh terhadap kemandirian anak usia lima sampai enam tahun.

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi dampak penggunaan gadget pada perkembangan bahasa, kognitif, motorik, dan moral anak. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode review literatur untuk penelitian karya ilmiah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan gadget berlebihan dapat berdampak negative pada perkembangan bahasa dan sosial anak. Anak-anak menjadi lebih fokus pada gadget, mengakibatkan penurunan konsentrasi belajar, kurangnya minat dalam menulis dan membaca, dan gangguan perkembangan kognitif. Selain itu penggunaan gadget juga dapat membatasi aktivitas fisik anak, menghambat perkembangan motorik mereka. Konten yang tidak layak pada gadget juga dapat mempengaruhi perkembangan moral anak oleh karena itu, penting bagi orangtua dan pendidik untuk memahami dan menerapkan prinsip-prinsip teori determinasi diri (SDT) dalam mendampingi anak dalam penggunaan gadget. Kata Kunci: Penggunaan Gadget, Perkembangan Anak, Orangtua dan Pendidik

Abstract

Studi ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki penggunaan media tutup botol dalam meningkatkan kemampuan literasi anak usia dini, khususnya dalam mengenali simbol huruf. Dalam konteks ini, dilakukan pendekatan kualitatif melalui studi kasus dengan subjek penelitian yang terdiri dari anak-anak Kelompok B di TKIT Mutiara. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan wawancara dengan menggunakan pedoman observasi dan wawancara. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media tutup botol memberikan dampak positif pada perkembangan kemampuan literasi anak usia dini. Mereka menunjukkan peningkatan dalam mengenal huruf, meningkatnya keterampilan motorik halus, peningkatan konsentrasi, dan kemampuan berkomunikasi. Selain itu, media ini memberikan pengalaman belajar yang menyenangkan, interaktif, dan efektif bagi anak, sambil mendukung perkembangan kognitif, motorik, dan sosial mereka. Pentingnya dampak yang ditemukan adalah bahwa anak-anak menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam kemampuan mengenal simbol huruf. Mereka dapat menyebutkan huruf dengan benar, mengidentifikasi dan menunjukkan huruf-huruf ketika ditunjukkan kepada mereka, mengaitkan gambar dengan huruf awal dengan benar, dan menuliskan huruf dengan benar sesuai dengan yang mereka kenal. Dengan demikian, penggunaan media tutup botol dapat menjadi metode yang efektif dalam membantu anak-anak usia 5-6 tahun untuk mengembangkan pemahaman mereka tentang huruf serta kemampuan membaca dan menulis. Ini menunjukkan relevansi dan potensi media sederhana seperti tutup botol dalam konteks pendidikan anak usia dini

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui bagaimana penerapan bermain sains mempengaruhi kemampuan klasifikasi dan berpikir kritis anak. Penelitian ini menggunakan sampel berjumlah 30 orang anak usia 5-6 tahun yang terbagi dalam dua kelompok yaitu 15 anak kelompok eksperimen dan 15 anak kelompok kontrol. Pendekatan penelitian yakni kuantitatif dengan menggunakan Analysis Covariance dengan bantuan SPSS. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dan tes menggunakan instrumen dengan berpedoman pada PERMENDIKBUD No 137 Tahun 2014. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan analisis kemampuan klasifikasi anak diperoleh bahwa nilai rata-rata posttest kelompok eksperimen lebih tinggi (88,6719) daripada nilai rata- rata posttest kelompok kontrol (56,4236). Sedangkan pada kemampuan berpikir kritis anak diperoleh bahwa nilai rata-rata posttest kelompok eksperimen lebih tinggi (84,0236) daripada nilai rata- rata posttestkelompok kontrol (56,6440).
