Abstract

This study aims to obtain the validity of E-LAPD using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model that can be used to improve science literacy on chemical equilibrium material. The design used is a 4-D model designed to improve students' science literacy skills. The valid E-LAPD was evaluated through a validation sheet filled in by the validator using a Likert scale. Validity consists of construct validity which includes presentation components, graphic components, suitability of models and indicators to be improved and content validation which includes the suitability of learning objectives with learning outcomes and the suitability of problems or phenomena with the material being taught. The validity of E-LAPD is declared valid if the score from the validator is at least 4 and does not have one score < 3 from the validator. The results showed that the E-LAPD developed had high validity indicating that the mode score of the validator ≥ 4. The developed E-LAPD was declared valid for use with a construct and content validation assessment which was described as valid with a score of 4, thus E-LAPD using the PBL model was declared valid for use to improve science literacy in chemical equilibrium material.

Abstract

Learning chemistry through the merdeka curriculum prioritize on enhancing 21st century skills include students' critical thinking skills. Due to a number of critical thinking skill constraints, students find out the difficulties to comprehend theory-based in chemistry materials, such as chemical bonding materials. By problem-based learning that integrates ethnoscience content can make learning more meaningful is a way to train and enhance critical thinking skills. This research conducted in terms to quantify the effectiveness of Problem Based Learning and ethnoscience-based student worksheet on chemical bonding material to enhance the critical thinking skills of XI grade senior high school students. The research method used are descriptive quantitative and qualitative of One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. With 36 students of class XI-8 in SMAN 16 Surabaya as the subject, the worksheet stated effective according to the increasingly of N-gain value with an average of 0.7206 that is in the high category. As much as 26 students include into the high category, 8 fall into the medium category, and 2 fall into the low category. Therefore, the finding suggest that student worksheet with Problem Based Learning and ethnoscience-based student worksheet on chemical bonding materials can significantly improve students’ critical thinking abilities.

Abstract

Abstract:  This study aims to develop assessment-for-learning-oriented worksheets suitable for improving students' learning outcomes in thermochemistry. The study was conducted at SMAN 14 Surabaya with 34 students as the respondents. The research method used was Research and Development (R&D) with the 4D model, limited to the development stage. The criteria for suitable student worksheets were evaluated based on validity, practicality, and effectiveness. Data analysis techniques for validity were conducted using a validation questionnaire method, while practicality was assessed through observation and student response questionnaires. Effectiveness was evaluated using a test method. The validity results obtained a median score of 4 from the three validators, indicating valid criteria. The practicality data showed that student responses to the worksheets received a percentage of 96.7% in the good category. Observations of relevant student activities yielded a percentage range of 84% to 100%. Effectiveness data were obtained from the pretest and posttest scores, which were then statistically tested using the Wilcoxon Test and N-Gain score. The significance value test resulted in 0.000 (p < 0.05), indicating a significant difference between the pretest and posttest scores. N-Gain analysis showed that 31 students were in the high category and 3 in the moderate category. Based on validity, practicality, and effectiveness, the student worksheets oriented toward assessment for learning are suitable for use in improving student learning outcomes in thermochemistry.

Abstract

Purpose–This study describes the effectiveness of implementing the Assessment for Learning (AfL) approach to improve students' critical thinking skills on hydrocarbon materials.Methodology–This study is a pre-experimental research with a one-group pre-test-post-test design. The effectiveness of implementing AfL was analyzed based on the pre-test and post-test results of students' critical thinking skills on hydrocarbon materials. Data were analyzed using the completeness criteria of learning objectives, N-gain scores, and mean difference tests.Findings–The Paired t-test results resulted in a p-value of 0.000 (< 0.05), indicating a significant difference between the pre-test and post-test scores. As many as 100% of students got an N-gain score in the high category. The study results showed that ≥ 85% of students were in the complete category. Thus, implementing AfL has proven effective in improving students' critical thinking skills on hydrocarbon materials.Significance–This study contributes to the development of chemistry education by demonstrating the effectiveness of implementing AfL in enhancing students' critical thinking skills, particularly in learning about hydrocarbon material.

Abstract

The curriculum of 2013 places spiritual attitudes as the first competencies fromcore competencies and social attitudes as the second. This indicates that aspiritual and social attitude is needed to survive in the 21st century. Therefore, thisstudy was held with the aim to develop science teaching materials with integratedcharacter of the Qur'anic verses that valid and effective criteria. The type ofresearch that used in this research is adapted from Thiagarajan’s developingmodel which focused on defining, designing, and developing stages. Theinstruments used are validation sheets for expert judgement and student responsequestionnaires to collect spiritual character of the students. Based on the resultsof the study, the science teaching materials with Islamic character interpretationsmeet the valid criteria with the validity of RPP = 3.37, modules = 3.23 and LKS =3.51. Meanwhile, based on the results of limited trials, it can be concluded that thestudents' responses to science teaching materials with integrated character of theQur’anic verse are in the positive and very positive category.

Abstract

Kampung Radjoet is a knitting industry in Bandung. Kampoeng Radjoet produces various types of knitted products ranging from sweaters, vests, cardigans, etc. However, the massive production in Radjoet Village produces production waste such as pieces of knitted fabric that can disturb the environment. Therefore, Kampung Radjoet wants to utilize the potential of fabric scraps waste from the remaining knitted production to produce new wearable products. Through an observational approach, this research aims to understand the phenomenon of leftover knitted fabric waste by conducting a field survey at Kampoeng Radjoet. In addition, it uses simple processing techniques and exploratory methods to find the potential of the waste. The final result is an exploration of the leftover knit fabric waste that can be used as recommendations for new product innovations for Kampoeng Radjoet from more valuable knit fabric waste. Abstract

Small and medium enterprises have a very important role in the economic cycle in the community. Especially in creating jobs and a source of income for the middle to lower economic community. Kampoeng Radjoet is a knitting industry in Bandung. Kampoeng Radjoet produces a wide range of products ranging from sweaters, cardigans, vests, etc. However, the large-scale production produced by Kampoeng Radjoet also has a negative impact on the industry itself. Namely with the emergence of various knitting wastes from fabrics to knitting yarns. Therefore, Kampoeng Radjoet wants to utilize this knitting waste to become a new wearable product from the existing waste. Through an observational approach, this research aims to understand the phenomenon of waste knitting fabric pieces from leftover production by conducting a field survey at Kampoeng Radjoet. In addition, with the MFC (Morphological Force Connection) method and polypropylene product waste materials, various new products can be developed that are worth selling for Kampoeng Radjoet while reducing the impact of knitting waste. Abstract

Rain cover bag memiliki fungsi untuk melindungi tas dari air hujan dan menjaga barang-barang agar tetap kering. Meskipun telah beredar merk dan desain yang bervariasi, nyatanya rain cover bag yang dirancang khusus untuk tas berjenis handbag sulit di temukan dipasar Indonesia. Di Indonesia yang merupakan salah satu negara dengan curah hujan tinggi membuat kerusakan tas yang disebabkan karena air hujan menjadi kasus yang umum terjadi. Diperlukannya perlindungan yang ekstra untuk mencegah kerusakan saat cuaca buruk serta perkembangan desain pada rain cover bag untuk tas berjenis handbag dibutuhkan untuk membantu masyarakat Indonesia merawat tas handbag mereka dengan lebih baik. Metode Mixmetode dalam penggalian data untuk memahami produk rain cover bag melibatkan beberapa tahap. Tahap pertama adalah penggalian informasi melalui internet, artikel, dan jurnal untuk memahami produk yang sudah beredar di pasaran, termasuk sejarah, material, desain, ukuran, dan jenisnya. Pada tahap berikutnya, penulis melakukan observasi dan wawancara dengan konsumen tas handbag dan produk rain cover bag untuk memahami kebutuhan pasar dari segi dimensi, konsep, dan desain, serta memvalidasi hasil dari rancangan produk. Abstract

Saat berpergian dengan jarak jauh, banyak moda transportasi umum maupun tranportasipribadi yang digunakan. Karena harganya yang terjangkau, nyaman, dan an琀椀 macet, keretaapi adalah salah satu cara transportasi umum yang paling disukai orang saat melakukanperjalanan. Dalam melakukan perjalanan jarak jauh biasanya penumpang cenderungmembawa banyak barang. Mereka akan cenderung menggunakan tas untuk membawasemua barang bawaannya. saat melakukan perjalanan dekat maupun jauh, tas juga seringdigunakan untuk kebutuhan tempat maupun fashion. Saat melakukan perjalanan, banyakbarang yang perlu dibawa sehingga membutuhkan lebih banyak tas saat membawanya. Halini tentu menyulitkan penumpang dalam membawa banyak tas. Dalam perjalanan,biasanya penumpang melakukan beberapa ak琀椀vitas seper琀椀 bermain handphone,membaca, bahkan mendengarkan musik untuk menghilangkan rasa jenuh. Barang- barangtersebut biasanya disimpan di dalam tas kecil atau bahkan di dalam tas bawaan besarbersama dengan barang bawaan lainnya, hal ini tentu menyulitkan pengguna untukmengambil barang saat akan digunakan. Oleh karena itu dibutuhkan rancangan tas yangdapat digunakan untuk perjalanan jauh menggunakan transportasi kereta api sesuaidengan kebutuhan. Dalam perancangan ini menggunakan metode peneli琀椀an kualita琀椀fdengan melakukan observasi, wawancara, serta pengisian kuesioner terhadap 75responden. Abstract

Laporan tugas akhir ini akan membahas tentang perancangan ulang sepatu untuk PT. Brodo Ganesha Indonesia artikel Corte Jog yang akan dirancang ulang untuk usia 4 – 8 tahun. Perancangan ulang ini dilakukan karena Brand Brodo ingin membuat sub category baru yaitu Brodo Kids. Perancangan ulang ini menggunakan metode reverse engeenering yang dimana sepatu atikel Corte Jog yang sudah ada dan dijual didesain ulang dengan menambahkan dan mengurangi hal yang akan menyesuaikan dengan kebutuhan pengguna, metode penggalian data yang di gunakan adalah observasi pada industri dan manufaktur, dan membaca jurnal yang yang memiliki keterkaitan dengan laporan penulis. Hasil yang diharapkan adalah produk dapat memenuhi kebutuhan brand dan kebutuhan pengguna yaitu anak usia 4 – 8 tahun. Kata kunci: perancangan ulang, sepatu, sepatu, Corte Jog.
