Abstract

Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa probiotik komersial B merupakan hasil terbaik dengan nilai pertumbuhan bobot mutlak 7,4 g, pertumbuhan panjang mutlak 3,5 cm, specific growth rate (SGR) 4,3% hari-1 dan sintasan 90%.Fish diseases are one of the challenges in Nile tilapia farming as they affect fish growth and harvest productivity. This study aims to evaluate the administration of commercial probiotics on the development of sultana Nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus). The research was conducted at the West Java Sukabumi Fish Hatchery Center (BBI). This study used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with three treatments and three replications: K (without probiotics), A (probiotic A at 15 mL kg-1), and B (probiotic B at 2 mL kg-1). The commercial probiotics used were A (Bacillus subtilis 10v CFU mL-1) and B (Bacillus subtilis 106 CFU mL¹, Bifidobacterium bifidum 106 CFU mL-1, Bifidobacterium longum 106 CFU mL-1, and Saccharomyces cerevisiae CFU mL-1. The results showed that commercial probiotic B produced the best outcome: an absolute weight gain of 7,4 g, an absolute length increase of 3,5 cm, a specific growth rate (SGR) of 4,3% per day, and a survival rate (SR) of 90%.

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to explore the mechanism of the integration of the Al-Islam, Kemuhammadiyahan, and Arabic Language (ISMUBA) curriculum in shaping the professional work ethic of students at SMK Muhammadiyah Tasikmalaya. The main challenge for vocational school graduates today is the need for moral integrity and a work ethic that aligns with the demands of the industrial world. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a field study method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation with research subjects including the Principal and Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers. The results show that the integration of the ISMUBA curriculum is implemented as a "spirit" that animates technical competencies through the synchronization of theological values with vocational practices. The formation of students' professional character is strengthened through spiritual habituation programs such as One Day Five Ayat (ODFA) to train accuracy, Duha Prayer for discipline, and Al-Islam Development Night (MPA) to organize work intentions as worship. In addition, students' independence and social intelligence are developed through the activities of the Autonomous Organization (Ortom) and the Lazismu Infaq Movement. This synergy has proven effective in producing graduates who are not only technically competent, but also possess strong moral integrity in accordance with the vision of "Progressive Islam".

Abstract

Pacific white shrimp Litopenaeus vannamei aquaculture has become a primary alternative to increase national aquaculture production following the decline in tiger shrimp farming due to disease outbreaks. However, the grow-out phase still faces challenges such as limited availability of high-quality post-larvae and deteriorating environmental conditions. The application of probiotics is considered a promising approach, as it can improve water quality, suppress pathogens, and enhance shrimp growth and resilience. This study integrates probiotic application into the grow-out management system to improve production efficiency and sustainability. The research was conducted through direct observation and active participation in farming activities, combined with secondary data collection from verified sources. Observed parameters included mean body weight (MBW), average daily growth (ADG), and survival rate (SR). The grow-out activities involved pond preparation, stocking of post-larvae at a density of 120–180 individuals/m² following acclimatization, blind feeding during the first 10 days, and feed administration based on the feeding rate (FR) thereafter. Daily water quality management and disease control were also carried out. The cultivation period lasted for three months, followed by partial and total harvesting, yielding up to 3 tons of shrimp per pond. Post-harvest, the shrimp were sorted and distributed to consumers using refrigerated vehicles.

Abstract

Betta splendens is an ornamental fish with a variety of color variations, which is one of the main factors determining its selling value. One of the variants of hippopotamus, which is currently in great demand by ornamental fish enthusiasts, is the multicolor hippopotamus. During maintenance, cupang fish often experience a decrease in color quality caused by internal and external factors. One of the efforts to improve color quality is to supplement the feed with ingredients rich in pigments, such as shrimp head flour (TKU), which contains carotenoids. This study aimed to improve the brightness and color performance of hippopotamus by adding shrimp head meal to commercial feed. The method used was a completely randomized design (CRD) with four treatments, namely, control, 5% TKU, 10% TKU, and 15% TKU, each with three replicates. The research procedure included the preparation of shrimp head meal, mixing feed with TKU, fish rearing, and observation of changes in color brightness, weight and length growth, survival rate, and water quality. The results showed that the utilization of shrimp head meal supplemented into the feed improved the performance of brightness and color patterns in multi-colored cupang fish, including length gain during the treatment, with optimum results shown in the 10% TKU treatment.
