Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar digital storytelling cerita rakyat yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan bernalar kritis siswa di SMA. Alasan dari pengembangan ini adalah masih belum banyak bahan ajar digital storytelling cerita rakyat yang digunakan guru. Bahan ajar ini berisi materi cerita rakyat yang mengandung nilai kearifan lokal dan memuat hal-hal yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan bernalar kritis. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) yang menggunakan model pengembangan R2D2 (Reflective, Recursive Design and Development Model). Implementasi model R2D2 dilakukan dalam tiga fokus utama atau tahap, yaitu: 1) Fokus Pendefinisian (define focus); 2) Fokus Perancangan dan Pengembangan (design and development focus), dan 3) Fokus Penyebarluasan (dissemination focus). Hasil penelitian: 1) Struktur bahan ajar adalah: Cover, Kata Pengantar, Petunjuk Penggunaan Bahan Ajar, Pembelajaran 1, Pembelajaran 2, Rangkuman, Tes Formatif, Refleksi, Glosarium, Daftar Pustaka; 2) Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar ini sangat baik dengan persentase penilaian mencapai 88,6%; 3) Respon siswa terhadap bahan ajar menunjukkan respon yang sangat baik dengan mencapai respon penilaian 88,2% bahwa bahan ajar digital storytelling cerita rakyat mudah dipahami dan dapat memotivasi untuk belajar. Berdasarkan rata-rata tersebut bahan ajar yang dikembangkan layak digunakan guru untuk pembelajaran luring maupun daring.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menjelaskan nilai-nilai multikultural yang terdapat dalam karya sastra prosa yakni kumpulan cerpen dalam koran Jawa Pos. Jenis data penelitian ini adalah kualitatif, sedangkan sumber data penelitian ini adalah kumpulan teks cerpen yang dimuat dalam website resmi Jawa Pos. Adapun cerpen yang dianalisis diantaranya 1) Monolog Ken Dedes, 2) Selamat Hari Pahlawan, Mbah!, 3) Rendang, serta cerpen 4) Ama Tobi di Antara Konflik Batas Kampung Serumpun. Penelitian ini melalui tahapan 1) Membaca dengan saksama isi cerpen yang menjadi subjek penelitian, 2) Mencari dan memahami nilai multikultural yang menjadi objek penelitian, 3) Menganalisis indikator nilai multikultural yang terdapat dalam kumpulan cerpen 4) Menyusun data secara sistematis disertai dengan teori-teori yang relevan sesuai dengan topik penelitian. Terdapat empat nilai multikultural dalam kumpulan cerpen tersebut diantaranya nilai toleransi, nilai keadilan dan persamaan, nilai humanistik, serta nilai demokrasi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeksripsikan makna dari simbol teatrikal pada pementasan drama Sekadar Imajinasi karya N. Riantiarno dengan kajian semiotika. Metode penelitian ini adalah dekriptif kualitatif. Data dalam penelitian ini adalah pementasan drama yang ditayangkan pada Youtube Teater Koma tahun 2020. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menyimak dan menganalisis. Hasil temuan awal dalam penelitian ini, terjadinya bentuk penyimpangan sosial (korupsi) yang membuat tokoh utama mengalami gangguan mental setelah menerima hukuman. Akan tetapi, dalam drama ini dikemas dengan adegan tokoh utama menolak ingatan akan perbuatannya terdahulu yang mengakibatkan meninggalnya beberapa korban. Tokoh utama mengibaratkan dirinya hanyalah seorang penulis skenario dalam novel dan korban yang meninggal tersebut hanyalah pemeran fiktif dalam novelnya belaka. Terdapat lima elemen yang memuat sistem tanda yang dapat digali maknanya. Lima elemen tersebut mencakup 1) Tata suara, 2) kostum pemeran, 3) property, 4) gesture pemeran, dan 5) dialog antar tokoh

Abstract

The preamble of oral tradition embodies a collection of beliefs and rituals practiced by indigenous people. There has been a harmonious relationship between humans and nature since ancient times. This includes the preambles of Buleng from Betawi and Kentrung from Java, which trace the religious evolution from Hindu-Buddha ancestry to Islam in Java. This study aims to compare the differences in the religiosity and culture of indigenous people in the preambles of Buleng and Kentrung. The researcher combines Koetjaraningrat's theory of cultural elements and Thompson's folklore motifs with a motif, type, and theme approach in Jost's literary comparison. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method, including transcription, identification, meaning, and comparison of data findings. The researcher applied analytical techniques of data reduction, categorization, and presenting descriptive interpretations along with the results of an outline scheme and inferring data through certain expressions of identity. The results demonstrate that: [1] both preambles express Islamic religiosity through regional language; [2] the religious system is described in all linguistic terms, acknowledging the magic of mantras in the Buleng preamble and the realization of Islamic worship in the Kentrung preamble; and [3] the social system regarding “Pancakaki” or family structure, “Sampurasun” greeting in the Betawi indigenous community, krama alus as well as the “unggah-ungguh” culture in the Javanese indigenous community are highlighted. The two preambles emphasize the dominance of Islamic religiosity, which coexists alongside respect for ancestors through wise and virtuous attitudes.

Abstract

The path of creative work creation as an alternative to completing undergraduate studies in the field of Indonesian Language and Literature Education has not been widely implemented on other campuses. Many Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Programs on campus are still preparing this scheme as an alternative that students can choose to complete their undergraduate studies. This training aims to share good practices that have been carried out in PBSI UPI Study Program on the application of research with the art-based research method. This training was attended by participants who were final year students in the Language and Literature Education Study Program at Ganesa University of Education. The training has been carried out synchronously and asynchronously. Synchronous activities are carried out using Zoom Meeting. Asynchronous activities are carried out by participants independently using indirect coordination and assistance through google form and google drive. The results achieved from this activity, participants have understood the basic concepts of art-based research methods in the field of Indonesian Language and Literature Education. Regarding the application of these concepts, the achievements of the participants were quite varied from those that were good to those that were still not fully able to apply the concepts that had been given.

Abstract

Di tengah perubahan sosial dan budaya yang cepat membuat cerita rakyat terancam punah. Alih wahana dalam cerita rakyat merupakan teknik penceritaan yang penting dalam melestarikan dan mengembangkan cerita rakyat.  Salah satunya alih wahana dari narasi cerita rakyat “Si Pitung” menjadi syair rancag berbentuk pantun berkaitan. “Si Pitung” sebagai simbolisasi keberanian masyarakat Betawi menghadapi penjajahan Tuan Tanah dan kolonialisme Belanda. Berdasarkan permasalahan yang diungkapkan, maka penelitian ini bertujuan untuk  mendeskripsikan perbandingan muatan cerita dalam narasi cerita rakyat dan syair rancag “Si Pitung” sebagai dua wahana sastra yang berbeda. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Pengumpulan data penelitian bermula tahap transkripsi, penandaan dan pemaknaan teori hingga perbandingan makna hasil temuan data yang dilanjutkan tahap analisis reduksi, penyajian, dan penyimpulan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada bentuk intertekstual transformasi, ekserp, dan ekspansi dalam objek penelitian. Pertama, intertekstual transformasi teruntuk bentuk pantun berima yang monolog dan cenderung lugas terhadap intisari kejadian. Kedua, intertekstual ekserp yang mempertegas kejadian penting cerita dengan keterlibatan tokoh si Pitung dan Schout Hinne. Ketiga, intertekstual ekspansi berfokus pada pengakuan kagum perancag terhadap heroisme si Pitung dalam setiap adegan ikonik cerita.

Abstract

Political debates play a crucial role in democratic processes, allowing candidates to present their ideas, defend policies, and persuade voters. This study applies Toulmins argumentation model to analyze the rhetorical strategies used in the 2024 Binjai Mayoral candidate debate. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through video recordings, transcripts, and documentation of debate discussions. The analysis identifies the presence and structure of Toulmins six argumentation components: claim, grounds, warrant, backing, modal qualifier, and rebuttal. Findings indicate that while candidates frequently use claims and grounds, they often lack strong warrants and rebuttals, leading to arguments that are persuasive but not necessarily well-justified. Additionally, emotional appeals and rhetorical tactics often replace logical reasoning, impacting the overall quality of the debate. The study highlights the need for stronger argumentation frameworks in political communication, emphasizing the importance of data-driven and evidence-based claims. This research contributes to the field of political communication by providing insights into argumentation trends in modern political debates. The findings suggest that training political candidates in structured argumentation techniques could improve public discourse and enhance voters ability to critically assess political messages. Future research should consider comparative analyses of debates across different political levels and the role of media framing in shaping argumentation effectiveness.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis struktur legenda Malin Kundang dan peranannya dalam pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia materi cerita fantasi di tingkat VII SMP. Legenda Malin Kundang, yang kaya dengan nilai moral dan budaya, sering digunakan sebagai materi ajar untuk mengembangkan keterampilan peserta didik sekaligus melestarikan budaya lokal. Namun, legenda ini juga mengandung unsur kekerasan yang perlu dikelola dengan bijak dalam konteks pendidikan. Melalui kajian struktural, penelitian ini mengidentifikasi komponen kunci narasi seperti tema, alur, karakter. latar, judul, gaya/tone, simbolisme dan ironi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan legenda Malin Kundang sebagai materi cerita fantasi dapat membantu peserta didik mengembangkan imajinasi, memahami nilai-nilai moral, dan meningkatkan kesadaran kritis peserta didik terhadap isi dan pesan dalam legenda Malin Kundang. Dengan bimbingan yang tepat dari pengajar, struktur legenda Malin Kundang dapat menjadi inspirasi dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia materi cerita fantasi.

Abstract

The extracurricular presence of literature has a role as part of literature learning in schools. Its existence provides extra space for students to deepen their insights into theory, appreciation and production of literary works as they can in the classroom. The purpose of this community service activity that is integrated with the Real Work Lecture is to provide solutions offered to overcome a problem. The solution carried out is by Training the Spotify Application in Making Radio Dramas as Extracurricular Activities for Literary Studios in Schools. The results of the activities of this community service activity program are: 1) Profiles of target groups that are able to self-help products as activities that encourage discipline, independence and knowledge; 2) Knowledge of the steps of making a radio drama which includes dubbing, script surgery, sound editing process, and uploading to the Spotify application; 3) Increase cooperation between the university and the school; 4) The creation of student discipline in spotify application training.

Abstract

This research is a review study with the aim of describing the role of the Contextual Teaching and Learning model in learning and describing the design of the CTLS model assisted by the MCP application. Research sources are taken from articles that have been published in accredited and reputable journals. The research techniques used are, (1) data reduction; (2) data presentation; and (3) drawing conclusions/verification. Based on the study of the analysis process results, the findings of this research are; 1) The CTL model is still widely used in learning both in the fields of science and social humanities; 2) The application of the CTL model is effectively used in learning both in the science and social fields; 3) The application of the CTL model has been developed through the integration of other components, including contextual learning FRAME (Formulate, Observe, State, Combine, Communicate and Practice); contextualized learning with linked open data; Contextual Cb-model; (E-LKPD) Contextual Teaching and Learning; E-Module Based on Contextual Teaching and Learning; Blended Learning with Flipped Classroom Through a Contextual Teaching and Learning Approach; Learning Tool For Robotics Basic Programming Based on Contextual Teaching And Learning Contextual Teaching Learning (Ctl) Based on Information and Communication of Technology (ICT); Adaptive Contextual Learning Model of Integrated Science by Integrating Digital Age Literacy; ICT-Based Contextual Mathematics Learning. 4) Based on the results of the review study, the innovation findings from this research are the design of developing an innovative CTL model which is paired with the Stratta strategy with the help of technology in the form of the Mobile Cipta Poetry application. The CTLS model assisted by the MCP application in poetry writing activities was developed with the following syntax; exposition, interpretation, creation, inclusion, and review. Based on research findings, it can be concluded that the CTL model is still suitable for use in learning. In this regard, as a basis for further research, the CTLS model assisted by the MCP application developed can be followed up and its effectiveness tested.
