Abstract

This development research aims to develop a bilingual learning video based on CapCut to improve valid and effective decision making to facilitate students and educators in the learning process. This study uses a research and development type of research with the DDDE (Decide, Design, Develop, and Evaluate) model. The data analysis techniques used are small-scale validity tests and N-Gain tests. The test subjects in this study were semester 2 students of the Mathematics Education Study Program, Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, Raden Intan State Islamic University, Lampung. The results of the validity test on a small scale show that the instruments used are valid and reliable. The assessment of the effectiveness test using N-Gain on the test obtained a score of 0.439 with the criteria of "moderate". The results of this study indicate that the bilingual learning video based on CapCut has been valid and effective for use in the learning process.

Abstract

Mathematical communication skills are essential for students learning mathematics, but many have low mathematical communication skills. This quasi-experimental design research aims to determine the influence of the brainstorming learning model and linguistic intelligence on mathematical communication abilities and the interaction between the brainstorming learning model and linguistic intelligence on mathematical communication abilities. This research involved class VIII students at Ma'arif 10 Bangunrejo Junior High School for the 2023/2024 academic year with a research sample of 55 students (27 class VIII A students as the experimental class and 28 class VIII B students as the control class). Mathematical communication skills data was obtained using an essay test, while linguistic intelligence data was obtained using a questionnaire. The collected data was analyzed using the Two Way Anava statistical test with a significance level of 0.05, where before testing, it was found that the data was normally distributed and homogeneous. The results of this research inform that the brainstorming learning model affects mathematical communication skills, while linguistic intelligence does not affect mathematical communication skills. Furthermore, there is no interaction between the brainstorming learning model and linguistic intelligence on mathematical communication abilities.

Abstract

Kesalahan adalah sebuah bentuk deviasi dari suatu yang sudah ditetapkan dan disepakati sebagai aturan atau standar yang baku. Kesalahan yang dialami peserta didik ketika pengerjaan soal perlu dipahami agar menemukan solusi yang sesuai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan memaparkan kesalahan yang terjadi dalam menyelesaikan soal berbasis cerita pada materi teorema Pythagoras. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek penelitian melibatkan peserta didik kelas VIII SMP PGRI 2 Bandar Lampung sebanyak 3 orang yang dipilih dengan metode purposive sampling dimana diidentifikasi melakukan kesalahan dengan kategori tinggi, sedang dan rendah. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan observasi, tes dan wawancara. Instrumen tes menggunakan 3 butir soal dimana soal tersebut telah dilakukan pengujian validitas dan reliabilitas, sedangkan instrumen wawancara menggunakan 5 butir pertanyaan berdasarkan teori Newman. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan adanya beberapa jenis kesalahan yang dilakukan yaitu (1) Kesalahan memahami masalah (Comprehension Errors), (2) Kesalahan transformasi (Transformation Errors), (3) Kesalahan dalam proses perhitungan (Process Skill Errors) dan (4) Kesalahan penulisan jawaban (Encoding Errors).

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of the SSCS learning model with a metaphorical approach and PBL learning on mathematical problem-solving abilities in terms of learning styles. This research is a type of Quasy Experiment Design. The population in this study were students of class VIII at SMP N 09 Tulang Bawang Tengah, the sampling method used a simple random sampling technique. The data in this study were collected using tests and questionnaires. Hypothesis testing using analysis of variance of two unequal cells with a significance level of 5%. The prerequisite tests in this study include the normality test and the homogeneity test using SPSS which were carried out before testing the hypothesis. The results of the analysis obtained that p-value (sig.) = 0.037 0.05 then H0 was rejected, p-value (sig.) = 0.035 0.05 then H_0 was rejected, p-value (sig.) = 0.732 0, 05 then H0 is accepted so that, the results of the analysis in this study are (1) there is an effect of the SSCS learning model with a metaphorical approach and PBL model learning on mathematical problem-solving abilities. (2) there is an effect of visual, audio, and kinesthetic learning styles on mathematical problem-solving abilities. (3) there is no interaction between learning model factors and learning styles on mathematical problem-solving abilities.

Abstract

Students' mathematical problem-solving abilities are still relatively low, thus requiring innovative, effective, and contextual learning media. This study aims to develop learning media based on Articulate Storyline to improve junior high school students’ mathematical problem-solving skills by integrating Polya’s problem-solving steps. The research method employed is Research and Development (R&D) using the 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). The research instruments included expert validation questionnaires, student response questionnaires, and mathematical problem-solving ability tests. The results showed that the developed media was valid according to media experts (score: 3.39) and material experts (score: 3.27), and was considered highly attractive by students (average score: 3.62 for the small group and 3.49 for the large group). The effectiveness test using N-gain indicated an improvement in students’ mathematical problem-solving skills, with average scores of 0.67 (small group) and 0.69 (large group), both falling into the moderate category. These findings imply that learning media based on Articulate Storyline is effective and feasible to be used as an alternative interactive learning tool for enhancing students’ mathematical problem-solving skills. This research contributes theoretically to the development of media based on Polya’s indicators and practically by providing a media model that can be adapted by mathematics teachers.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to develop digital mathematics comic media to improve students' mathematical representation and resilience skills. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) by adopting the DDD-E (Decide, Design, Develop, and Evaluate) model. The results of this development research are in the form of digital mathematics comic media on the material of lines and angles that can be accessed via gadgets online. The level of product validation is obtained from the assessment of the expert team, namely material validation 4.43 with the category "very valid" and media validation 4.76 with the category "very valid". Then the digital math comic media was declared effective in improving students' mathematical resilience abilities with an average N-Gain score of the experimental class of 0.44, better than the N-Gain score of the control class of 0.01. And the increase in students' mathematical representation abilities using digital math comic media with an average N-Gain of 0.49 was not greater than students who used conventional learning media with an average N-Gain of 0.38.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low mathematics achievement of Indonesian students, as reflected in the results of the 2022 PISA (Programme for International Student Assessment) and pre-research findings at MAS Al Hikmah Bandar Lampung, where 10th-grade students experienced difficulties in understanding basic concepts, carrying out problem-solving procedures, and connecting concepts. The purpose of this study was to analyze patterns of students' mathematics learning difficulties and identify the potential application of deep learning technology to support the learning process. This study used a descriptive qualitative method with 20 10th-grade students and mathematics teachers as supporting informants. Data were collected through questionnaires, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using the Miles & Huberman interactive model. The results showed that students still faced conceptual and procedural difficulties, while teachers assessed that emotional factors were not dominant compared to weak mastery of basic concepts. The questionnaire results revealed that understanding of deep learning was still low (mean 2.26), barriers to implementation were high (mean 1.68), but optimism regarding its benefits was quite high (mean 3.10), especially in analyzing student learning error patterns. These findings emphasize the importance of utilizing deep learning as an innovative way to analyze learning difficulties, supported by facilities, teacher training, and gradual implementation to make mathematics learning more effective and on-target.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran matematika adaptif berbasis deep learning melalui platform ZenCore terhadap hasil belajar dan persepsi siswa. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuasi-eksperimen dengan desain one group pretest-posttest, melibatkan 62 siswa sebagai sampel. Data dikumpulkan melalui test hasil belajar dan angket persepsi siswa terhadap pembelajaran adaptif. Uji normalitas dilakukan menggunakan Kolmogorov-Smirnov dan Shapiro-Wilk, sedangkan perbedaan hasil belajar dianalisis menggunakan uji Paired Sample t-Test, dan data angket dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai p = 0.228 (> 0.05), yang berarti tidak terdapat perbedaan signifikan anatara hasil belajar sebelum dan sesudah penerapan pembelajaran adaptif, meskipun terdapat peningkatan rata-rata sebesar 2.774 poin. Sementara itu, hasil angket menunjukkan nilai rata-rata 36.15 dari 50 atau 72.3%, termasuk dalam kategori “Baik”. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa siswa memiliki persepsi positif terhadap model pembelajaran adaptif, terutama dalam hal kesesuaian dengan kemampuan individu dan fleksibilitas belajar. Secara keseluruhan, model pembelajaran adaptif berbasis deep learning melalui ZenCore lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan aspek personalized learning dibandingkan peningkatan hasil belajar kognitif secara langsung. Temuan ini menunjukkan potensi penerapan teknologi kecerdasan buatan sebagai sarana pembelajaran yang lebih personal, adaptif, dan interaktif dalam konteks Pendidikan matematika modern.

Abstract

Beberapa penelitian sebelumnya telah mengimplementasikan model SMART, tetapi belum ada yang menilai tingkat kemampuan berpikir kritis matematika siswa melalui model tersebut. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi implementasi model pembelajaran SMART melalui pendekatan bridging analogy terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis matematika berdasarkan Multiple Intelligence (MI). Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah Quasi Eksperimental Design. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes dan angket, sedangkan analisis data mencakup uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji Anova dua jalan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran SMART melalui pendekatan bridging analogy memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis matematika siswa. Selain itu, MI siswa juga berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis matematika. Namun, tidak terdapat interaksi yang signifikan antara model pembelajaran SMART melalui pendekatan bridging analogy dengan MI terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis matematika siswa.

Abstract

SIMAS ERIC yaitu Skimming, Mind Mapping, Questioning, Eksploring, Writing, dan Communicating merupakan model pembelajaran inovatif dengan 6 tahapan didalamnya. Model ini mampu menggiring siswa menjadi aktif dan mandiri dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian quasi eksperimen design. Populasi pada penelitian ini dilakukan di kelas 8 SMPN 6 Metro. Penelitian ini menggunakan dua kelas yaitu penelitian kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen dengan teknik random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan tes, angket, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Instrumen pada penelitian ini menggunakan tes dan angket. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan uji normalitas,  homogenitas, dan hipotesis. Uji hipotesis menggunakan uji MANOVA (Multivariate Analisis of Variance).  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa diperoleh dampak positif dari model pembelajaran SIMAS ERIC terhadap komunikasi matematis dan self efficacy.
