Abstract

The research aims to produce e-modules based on vee heuristic strategies that are valid, practical, and effective to train the mathematical representation skills of high school students, with the material used is the geometry of space. This research is development research with 4-D design (Define, Design, Development, and Dissemination). The subjects of this study were students of class XII MIPA and IPS Of Al-Qudwah Integrated High School, which amounted to 30 students. The data in this study was collected using questionnaires and tests. From the analysis results obtained, the average total validation score (RTV) from media experts is 4,062 with an excellent category, material experts with 4,625 with unique varieties, and the average e-module user response score of 89.00. The indicates that the student's response to Learning using e-modules based on heuristic vee strategies is positive so that e-modules can be declared practical. The mathematical representation of students after using this vee heuristic strategy-based e-module earns a total average of 3.32 with excellent category. Based on the results of such data analysis, the e-module based on vee heuristic strategies developed is worth using as a practical learning resource to train students' mathematical representation skills on space geometry. The app makes it easy for students to access flexible learning resources anywhere and anytime.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyse the influence of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model against thestudent’s mathematical reflective thinking skills based on cognitive styles. Abstract

Kemampuan pemecahan masalah kelas V SD Mardi Yuana Cilegon masih terhitung rendah. Hal ini disebabkan karena peserta didik kurang memahami maksud dari soal serta bagaimana cara menyelesaikannya dan kurangnya diterapkan model pembelajaran pada proses pembelajaran. Kemudian dilakukan pendekatan untuk mengatasi permasaahan tersebut dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran matematika realistik di kelas tersebut. Dalam penelitian menggunakan jenis penelitian quasi eksperimen dengan menggunakan dua kelas percobaan. Kelas eksperimen diberikan model pembelajaran, sedangkan kelas control tanpa perlakuan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas V SD Mardi Yuana Cilegon dengan jumlah 72 peserta didik, sampel adalah kelas VA berjumlah 24 peserta didik sebagai kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen adalah kelas VB dengan jumlah 24 peserta didik. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah Uji independent sample t-tes menunjukkan bahwa nilai Sig.(2-tailed) sebesar 0,001 < 0,05, maka sesuai dasar pengambilan keputusan dalam uji independent sample. Dari uji data tersebut, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan antara kelas yang diberikan perlakuan dan yang tidak diberikan perlakuan. Peserta didik yang belajar dengan matematika realistic, mampu menyelesaikan soal yang berkaitan dengan pemecahan masalah. Terbukti dari hasil tes yang meningkat.

Abstract

Peserta didik diharapkan mampu menalar, berpikir logis, berpikir sistematis, dan memiliki keterampilan personal dan interpersonal yang baik yang dapat membantu mereka dalam memecahkan masalah sehari-hari. Salah satu cara yang dapat diupayakan adalah dengan menerapkan Model Pembelajaran Knisley untuk mengasah kemampuan matematika, baik hard skill maupun soft skill. Tujuan dari Systematic Literatur Review ini adalah untuk mengkaji literatur terkait keefektifan model pembelajaran Knisley terhadap kemampuan matematika (hard skill dan soft skill) peserta didik. Data dikumpulkan dengan menyintesis dan mereview semua artikel yang berkaitan dengan model pembelajaran Knisley dan kemampuan matematika yang diterbitkan antara tahun 2012 hingga 2022 melalui database Google Scholar dan Pepusnas. Diperoleh sebanyak 32 artikel yang menjadi bahan kajian sintesis kualitatif. Penelitian ini menunjukkan, model pembelajaran Knisley efektif dalam meningkatkan berbagai kemampuan hard skill matematis. Namun, dalam hal perbedaan gender, tidak efektif untuk keterampilan berpikir kritis matematis. Model pembelajaran Knisley juga efektif untuk meningkatkan soft skill peserta matematika, yaitu disposisi matematika dan self efficacy

Abstract

This qualitative study aims to obtain an overview of students' mathematical understanding in solving numeracy literacy questions in terms of the initial mathematical abilities of students at SMKN 1 Rangkasbitung. The subjects in this study were students of class X Marketing at SMKN 1 Rangkasbitung in the even semester of the 2021/2022 academic year. The subject selection technique used was purposive sampling, which is a sampling technique with certain considerations. The researcher gave an initial ability test in the form of multiple choice and a mathematical understanding test in solving numeracy literacy questions in the form of descriptions, then the selected subjects were communicatively interviewed in conveying their ideas and ideas in solving numeracy literacy questions. The results showed that students who had early mathematical abilities in the high category and were in solving numeracy literacy questions had a relational understanding, while students who had early mathematical abilities in the low category in solving numeracy literacy questions had instrumental understanding.

Abstract

Abstract: An interactive e-modul interaktife is a module in the form of a combination of two or more media (audio, text, graphics, images, animation and video) that are interactive, to convey a material, method, boundaries, and learning evaluation that is systematically designed and interesting, which can then cause a two-way relationship between the e-modul interaktife and its users. The interactive e-modul interaktife given to students must be a good and quality e-modul interaktife. Quality e-modul interaktifes can build, trigger, strengthen students' interest in learning independently and the learning process is more effective, efficient so that there is an improvement in the quality of learning. For this reason, the purpose of this research is to produce an interactive e-modul interaktife based on a valid, practical and effective heuristic strategy to train students' numeracy literacy skills, with the material used is geometry transformation. This type of research research is a development research (R&D) with a 4-D design of defining (Define), design (Design), development (Development), and dissemination (Dissemination). The subjects of this study were class XI mipa students of Al-Qudwah Integrated High School which totaled 21 students. The type of data taken is in the form of quantitative data and qualitative data, qualitative data in this study were collected using expert validity questionnaires, student response questionnaires, and quantitative data in this study were taken from numeracy literacy test instruments. Based on the results of the analysis obtained an average total validation (RTV) score from media experts 4.49 with very valid categories, material experts 4.56 with very valid categories, educational experts 4.65 with very valid categories, user response percentage 83%, this indicates that student responses to learning using interactive e-modul interaktifes based on heuristic strategies are of positive value, so that interactive e-modul interaktifes can be declared practical. Students' numeracy literacy skills after using this interactive e-modul interaktife based on heuristic strategies got a total average of 2.98 with excellent categories. Based on the results of the data analysis, it can be concluded that the interactive e-modul interaktife based on the vee heuristic strategy developed is suitable for use as an effective learning resource to train students' numeracy literacy skills on the topic of geometric transformation. This e-modul interaktife makes it easy for students to access flexible learning resources anywhere and anytime

Abstract

Numerical literacy used to the ability understanding various contexts mathematics of daily life problems. One of that success factors is metacognition influenced. An important role of metacognition process to regulating and controlling cognitive thinking. This qualitative study aims to describe students' metacognition processes in solving numeracy questions geometrical and measuring domain. The subjects who are students of class IX.F SMPN 1 Malingping, Lebak Regency. The selected subjects completed successfully the challenge of numeracy on three cognitive levels of geometry measurement domain, communicative, and willing to subjects. Collected data got from tests and interviews. The results showed that the students' metacognitive process activities occurred different qualities and tendencies. Metacognitive awareness activities are identified from solution plan, gather information and fulfill prerequisites, both in pictures or sentences. Metacognitive regulation activities are reflected to carry out planning skills execution, strategies working used formula concepts or direct to the point execution. Metacognitive evaluation activities to consider limited knowledge and results quality, correctly self-assess answer questions, an error, explain solutions, re-check and final conclusions. There are students who able an assess error and correct them, but also those who don’t correct them because self-confidence who thinks what they are doing is appropriate.

Abstract

Disposisi Berpikir Reflektif Matematis (DBRM) adalah kecenderungan siswa untuk berpikir reflektif matematis yang merupakan tuntutan pembelajaran abad 21. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji peningkatan DBRM menggunakan pendekatan scaffolding metakognitif dengan tiga level Anghileri. Penelitian ini menggunakan kuasi eksperimen dengan pretes dan postes. Penelitian dilakukan di  SMPN 7 Kota Serang dengan sampel dua kelas VIII yang dipilih secara acak. Kelas eksperimen berjumlah 40 siswa dengan pembelajaran menggunakan pendekatan scaffolding metakognitif dan kelas kontrol berjumlah 39 siswa dengan pendekatan saintifik. Masing-masing kelas dikelompokkan dalam tiga kelompok Kemampuan Awal Matematis (KAM) tinggi, sedang dan rendah. Data DBRM berupa data kualitatif yang dikuantitatifkan dari instrumen skala sikap. Pengujian yang dilakukan adalah uji beda rata-rata secara keseluruhan dan ditinjau dari KAM, uji interaksi antara perlakuan dan KAM terhadap DBRM. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan peningkatan rata-rata DBRM antara kelas eksperimen dan kontrol secara keseluruhan dan berdasarkan kelompok KAM tinggi, sedang, rendah. Terdapat interaksi antara pendekatan dan KAM dengan DBRM.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui hasil kelayakan dan kepraktisan dari pengembangan e-modul matematika berbasis TPACK (Technological, Pedagogical, Content and Knowledge) pada materi aritmetika sosial. Dengan menggunakan metode ADDIE, yang memiliki lima tahapan yaitu analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Bentuk penelitian ini diklasifikasikan sebagai penelitian pengembangan. Lembar validasi yang diisi oleh enam validator dapat digunakan untuk menilai tingkat kelayakan e-modul yang dikembangkan, sedangkan lembar respon guru dan lembar respon siswa digunakan untuk menilai kelayakan e-modul matematika yang dikembangkan. Hasil penelitian pengembangan e-modul matematika berbasis TPACK (Technological, Pedagogical, Content and Knowledge) pada materi aritmetika sosial menunjukkan bahwa (1) penilaian e-modul matematika pada sisi kelayakan, kategori “sangat layak” menerima proporsi rata-rata 85,35%; (2) hasil uji kepraktisan pada lembar jawaban siswa dan guru menghasilkan persentase rata-rata sebesar 89,62% dan 86,45% dengan kategori “sangat praktis”. Akibatnya, dapat dikatakan demikian pengembangan e-modul matematika berbasis TPACK (Technological, Pedagogical, Content and Knowledge) pada materi aritmetika telah teruji kelayakan dan kepraktisannya sebagai sumber belajar matematika.Kata Kunci: E-modul, TPACK (Technological, Pedagogical, and Content Knowledge), Aritmetika Sosial

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out whether the flipped classroom which is integrated with the discovery learning is better than just using the discovery learning and to find out differences in numeracy abilities when viewed from a mathematical disposition in class XI MAN 4 Tangerang students in the 2021/2022 academic year. This study uses a mix method , namely the combination of quantitative and qualitative. Quantitative research using quasi-experiment design type pretest-post test control group design by making two groups, namely the control class and the experimental class. Methods of data collection using numeracy ability test questions, mathematical disposition questionnaires, observation sheets, and interviews. Data analysis techniques in the quantitative method include normality tests, homogeneity tests, and two-way ANOVA tests (Two-way ANOVA). In the qualitative method, the data analysis used includes data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. In an effort to improve numeracy skills, the use of the discovery learning integrated with the flipped classroom have a positive impact.
