Abstract

Economic growth is no longer just to improve the economy alone, but economic growth must also pay attention to the welfare of the community and be carried out by paying attention to the quality of the economic growth. Good economic growth is not only temporary but long term. One of the government's efforts by this concept is to create inclusive and sustainable economic growth. The measure of the quality of economic growth can be seen through the Inclusive Economic Development Index (IGI). However, achieving inclusive economic growth is not easy. The novelty of the research is that inclusive economic growth is not only approached with an economic approach but non-economic variables are also included, to see further this interrelation. The method used in this research is quantitative with a descriptive approach. Panel regression analysis models and techniques using stata. The results of this study indicate that technology and human resources have a significant and positive effect on inclusive economic growth in Indonesia from 2017 to 2019. Meanwhile, politics has a positive but not significant effect on inclusive economic growth in Indonesia from 2017 to 2019. From the results of this study, it can be seen that also that technology, politics, and human resources simultaneously have a significant and positive effect on inclusive economic growth in Indonesia from 2017 to 2019. The implications of this research include, among others, the government needs to optimize HR productivity. Keywords: Inclusive Economy; Political; Human Resources; Technology

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the condition of food security before and during the new normal in Meduran Village, Blimbing Village, Malang City. The population in this study were all people in Meduran Village with a sample of 55 people. This study uses purposive sampling technique in sampling. In this study it was found that the income variables before the pandemic and expenditure on food needs had a significant effect on the level of food security for the conditions before the pandemic, while the variables of income before the pandemic, income during the pandemic, and income during the new normal also had a significant effect on the level of food security for the current conditions. new normal in Meduran Village. The variables for the number of family members and the age of the respondents did not have a significant effect on the level of food security in Meduran Village. The results of this study require further recommendations from relevant stakeholders.

Abstract

Munculnya virus Covid-19 berdampak besar terhadap berbagai sektor, termasuk sektor ekonomi. Terjadi penurunan mobilitas dan pemutusan hubungan kerja sehingga menurunkan pendapatan masyarakat. Hal tersebut juga terjadi pada ibu-ibu Desa Padas yang biasanya bekerja di berbagai sektor juga terpaksa menganggur dan tidak dapat membantu menambah pemasukan keluarga. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan membatik kepada masyarakat sehingga masyarakat memiliki keterampilan membatik. Metode yang digunakan adalah observasi, sosialisasi dan pelatihan, praktik, serta evaluasi. Kegiatan sosialisasi didukung media buku panduan membatik yang telah dibuat tim pengabdian di mana di dalamnya terdapat panduan membuat batik lukis, ciprat, jumputan, dan ikat. Hasil pengabdian kepada masyarakat menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan pelatihan membatik berjalan dengan lancar dan berhasil. Peserta mengikuti kegiatan dengan antusiasme yang tinggi dan berhasil membuat karya batik dengan teknik yang diajarkan. Dampak dari kegiatan pelatihan ini yaitu ibu-ibu memiliki keterampilan membatik sehingga dapat meningkatkan minat ibu-ibu Desa Padas untuk membatik dan berwirausaha di bidang batik.  Dengan demikian, ibu-ibu Desa Padas akan memperoleh pendapatan tambahan. Kata kunci— Batik, Pelatihan Membatik, Wirausaha  Abstract The emergence of the Covid-19 virus has had a major impact on various sectors, including the economic sector. There is a decrease in mobility and layoffs, thereby reducing people’s income. This also happens to the women of Padas Village who usually work in various sectors and are also forced to be unemployed and cannot help increase family income. This service aims to provide batik training to the community so that people have batik skills. The methods used are observation, socialization and training, practice, and evaluation. The socialization activity is supported by the media of batik guidebooks that have been made by the service team in which there are guidelines for making painted, splashed, jumputan, and tie batik. The results of community service show that batik training activities run smoothly and successfully. Participants participated in the activity with high enthusiasm and succeeded in making batik works with the techniques taught. The impact of this training activity is that women have batik skills so that they can increase the interest of Padas Village women to make batik and become entrepreneurs in the batik field. Thus, the women of Padas Village will get additional income.

Abstract

Salah satu upaya meningkatkan profesionalisme guru adalah dengan meningkatkan intensitas guru dalam melalukan penelitian. Tujuan dilakukan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru-guru ekonomi dalam bidang penelitian yang berkaitan dengan proses pembelajaran di SMKN 1 Kota Batu. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian dilakukan melalui dua tahapan kegiatan, yakni tahap penyampaian materi prinsip riset dan tahapanya termasuk aplikasi SPSS, Stata, dan Eviews dan tahap pendampingan penyusunan proposal. Kegiatan pengabdian ini diikuti 25 orang guru. Metode yang digunakan adalah ceramah, diskusi, penugasan, pendampingan dan evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan adalah terdapat peningkatan wawasan dan semangat guru dalam melakukan penelitian bagi kepentingan pembelajaran, keterampilan guru dalam penggunaan aplikasi pengolahan data serta terdapat proposal yang telah layak untuk ditindaklanjuti dalam bentuk penelitian.Kata kunci—Profesionalisme Guru, Pendampingan Pelatihan Metode Penelitian, SMKN 1 Kota BatuAbstractOne effort to improve teacher professionalism is to increase the intensity of teachers in conducting research. The purpose of this community service activity is to improve the ability of economic teachers in the field of research related to the learning process at SMK 1 Batu. The implementation of community service activities is carried out through two stages of activities, namely the stage of delivering the material of research principles and the stages including the application of SPSS, Stata, and Eviews and the assistance stage of preparing the proposal. This community service activity was attended by 25 teachers. The methods used are lectures, discussions, assignments, assistance and evaluation. The result of the activity is that there is an increase in teachers' insights and enthusiasm in conducting research for the sake of learning, teacher skills in using data processing applications and there are proposals that have been feasible to be followed up in the form of research.Keywords—Teacher Professionalism, Research Method Training Assistance, SMK 1 Batu

Abstract

Regional economic development is one of the focuses in efforts to increase regional competitiveness. The government continues to increase the GRDP of Trenggalek Regency through the development of economic activities accompanied by increasing its supporting facilities. The purpose of this study was to determine the basic economic sector and the non-base economic sector in Trenggalek Regency. The research method used in this study is location quotient analysis (LQ, shift share analysis, and trendline analysis. The results of the Loqation Quotient (LQ) analysis explain that Trenggalek Regency has 8 non-base sectors. Meanwhile, the results of shift share analysis show that there are 6 sectors which is slightly backward or slow in growth. Then based on the polynomial trendline analysis, it is found that the population is predicted to increase in 2025 which is around 763,645 people, the increase is estimated to be dominated in the age category 20-35 years which is the projection of the workforce. This research is expected to be useful in determine the focus of improving the district's infrastructure or facilities and infrastructure, so that sectors that are included in the non-base category and sectors classified backward or with slow growth can be upgraded to basic and advanced sector classifications.

Abstract

Recently, financial literacy has became everyone’s compulsory need in managing as well as devising their finance. This research aims to know (1) How do gender, GPA, and semester influence financial literacy of sarjana’s degree students partially? (2) How do gender, GPA, and semester influence financial literacy of sarjana’s degree students simultaneously? This research used descriptive quantitative approach. The population is sarjana’s degree students of Development Economic in Universitas Negeri Malang on 2011-2014 generation. Furthermore, the sample of this research is 118 respondents from 2011 to 2014 generation by using quota sampling techniques. The data is collected by using questionnaires in which has been examined through validity and reliability test. Research’s results are: (1) Gender has positive and significant impacts to financial literacy of sarjana’s degree students, (2) GPA has positive and significant impacts to financial literacy of sarjana’s degree students, (3) Student’s semester has positive and significant impacts to financial literacy of sarjana’s degree students, (4) Gender, GPA, and student’s semester have positive and significant impacts to financial literacy of sarjana’s degree students simultaneously. The researcher suggests that next researcher may add other independent variables, which is related to financial literacy, so that the research would be more advanced.Keywords: Financial literacy, Gender, GPA, Semester

Abstract

Community Based Tourism adalah salah satu konsep dari pariwisata alternatif yang mana memberikan dampak yang lebih positif dalam pengelolaannya dibanding pariwisata masal yang sifatnya konvensional. Community Based Tourism merupakan konsep yang dikelola atau dipraktikkan oleh suatu komunitas dan untuk komunitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan Community Based Tourism berdasarkan prinsip keberlanjutan (lingkungan, ekonomi, sosial) pada wisata Hutan Mangrove Pancer Cengkrong di Kabupaten Trenggalek. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Kegiatan penyemaian bibit mangrove, penanaman mangrove massal, dan aksi bersih pantai telah dilakukan untuk menunjukkan adanya penerapan prinsip lingkungan. Perkembangan ekonomi masyarakat lokal meningkat yang disebabkan oleh terpenuhinya indikator seperti, adanya dana pengembangan komunitas dan munculnya lapangan pekerjaan baru yang berpengaruh pada timbulnya pendapatan masyarakat lokal. Peningkatan kualitas hidup, tidak adanya diskriminasi gender, dan meningkatan kemampuan dan pengetahuan para anggota organisasi melalui pelatihan formal maupun informal merupakan indikasi dari penerapan prinsip sosial.Abstract:  Community-Based Tourism has been popular as a means of alternative tourism particularly to give better results than mass tourism which is still counted as conventional. Community Based Tourism is managed and owned by the community, for the community. The study was established to practice the Community Based Tourism through three pillars of sustainability (environmental, economic, social) in Pancer Cengkrong Mangrove Forest, Trenggalek. Qualitative method is used in this study with case study approaches. Growing mangroves from containers, mass mangrove planting, and a project to clean up the tourist attraction is being done to perform environmental principle practice. The development of the local’s economy increased due to indicators fulfillment such as, financially viable and created more jobs to supports local’s income. The local’s Quality of Live increased, no discrimination through gender, and strengthen the members of the community’s skill and knowledge through some training either formal or informal indicate the practice of social principle.

Abstract

In social life, social capital has an important role in our lives. Social capital has a close relationship in daily life. Basicalls social capital grows from a relationship between individuals and groups in the social system. For them, social capital has economic value that if it can help someone in terms of productivity and efficiency of individuals or groups. Therefore, this important role of social capital is needed in business development, including business development in Kampoeng Batik Jetis Sidoarjo. This study used qualitative descriptive method. Primary data obtained through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the role of social capital, trust and networks, has an influential role in the development of the batik industri business in Kampoeng Batik Jetis Sidoarjo. However, there are still obstacles for business actors and craftsmen in developing these businesses, one of which is the lack of cooperation and support in the business development process.

Abstract

This study is intended to provide an explanation regarding the effects resulting from government expenditure, labor, and human development on income inequality in Indonesia. Documentation study technique was used in the data collection process. While the use of this research data by using the type of time series taken in 2004-2020, so that the period of this research is 17 years. The method used in this quantitative descriptive research is through multiple linear regression analysis with STATA 13 analysis tool. The findings of the study show that the government expenditure variable, labor variable, and human development variable simultaneously (F-test) have a significant influence on the income inequality variable. Meanwhile, the results of the t-test partially indicate that government expenditure has a significant and positive effect if it is associated on income inequality. The next variable, namely the workforce, indicates that the relationship with income inequality is positive but the effect is not significant. Meanwhile, another significant influence is found in the human development variable and the relationship is negative when analyzed on the income inequality variable

Abstract

Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah memiliki peran dalam pembangunan ekonomi di Indonesia. Namun, saat pandemi covid-19 terjadi perubahan dari aspek sosial dan ekonomi di UMKM serta sektor lainnya. Munculnya permasalahan yang tidak terduga, mengharuskan pemilik usaha untuk membuat strategi alternatif dalam mengembangkan usaha dengan memaksimalkan kekuatan dan peluang yang ada. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan mengenai dampak sosial ekonomi UMKM saat pandemi dan strategi alternatif yang dapat digunakan untuk pengembangan usaha di era new normal. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Dalam menganalisis data menggunakan metode pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jumlah pengunjung berkurang, pelatihan dibatasi, hasil penjualan menurun, dan meningkatnya pengangguran di Desa Kedensari. Strategi pengembangan usaha yang dapat diterapkan oleh UMKM berdasarkan perhitungan QSPM yaitu meningkatkan promosi melalui media penjualan online, eksplorasi usaha lain saat pandemi, dan melakukan focus grup discussion (FGD) dengan sesama pelaku usaha.
