Abstract

The interactions that occur during the learning process at MI AL-Khairat, Empalit Village, Katingan Regency, are influenced by the learning environment, including the effectiveness of the learning media. This research examines Multimedia which is a new technique in the field of multimedia, one of which is computers which combines more than one media in a form of communication which includes text, sound, graphics, animation and video into a computer system. The use of multimedia such as computers in the teaching and learning process at MI AL-KHAIRAT Hampalit village has practical values, including that media can arouse new desires and interests. By using media, children's learning experiences become broader, their perceptions become sharper, and their concepts become more complete, so that new desires and interests in learning always arise. Media can arouse motivation and stimulate students to learn. Posting pictures on bulletin boards, showing films and listening to audio programs can cause certain stimuli towards the desire to learn.

Abstract

Pesatnya perkembangan teknologi mengharuskan peningkatan juga implementasinya pada kegiatan pembelajaran, salah satunya untuk dimanfaatkan sebagai media pembelajaran. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi informasi berupa plickers salah satunya kepada para tutor di PKBM yang ada di Kota Palangkaraya, yaitu PKBM Luthfillah dan PKBM Cahaya Bangsa. Kegiatan pelatihan menggunakan metode ceramah dan praktik langsung yang dilaksanakan di Resort Matan Andau pada tanggal 10 Februari 2024. Pelatihan meida pembelajaran berupa plickers ini diharapkan mampu membekali para tutor di PKBM tersebut untuk upaya peningkatan kompetensi dalam membantu meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the response to the needs of ethno-STEAM based e-comic “lilis lamiang” for elementary school students. In this study we focus to analyze the teacher and student perception about the development of the local wisdom module, especially to increase learning outcome. The research method is descriptive and qualitative by used surveys to collect data. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires to 2 elementary school teacher and to 20 student 5th grade students, SDN 4 Menteng in Palangkaraya City, Central Kalimantan. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive analysis. The results of this research showed that teachers have never developed their own teaching materials based on local potential in Central Kalimantan, while students are of the opinion that the use of teaching materials based on local potential will make learning activities more interesting. This research concluded that the development of etno-STEAM based e-comic especially about lilis lamiang very important thing to do based on teacher and student perception and important to continue in the next research to develop the module.

Abstract

Background: Mathematics is a subject that almost all students consider to be difficult, boring, and unpleasant. Teachers are essential in packaging learning and using engaging media to make learning fun and memorable. Aim:  This research analyzes the need for interactive multimedia and student learning outcomes. Method: This research uses a qualitative approach, with a qualitative descriptive method, for data collection techniques carried out using teacher and student interview instrument sheets, direct observation, and distributing interactive multimedia needs questionnaires. Results and Dıscussion: The results of the need for interactive multimedia (indicator 1 of the causes of low mathematics learning outcomes) show that 56% (14 out of 25 students) think mathematics is too complicated. For (Indicator 2 methods that teachers often use), the results showed that 64% (16 of 25 students) answered that the teacher explained the lesson and gave practice questions. For (Indicator 3, the impression of mathematics learning), 48% (12 of 25 students) thought that mathematics is a tough lesson, 24% (6 out of 25 students) said it was boring, 20% (5 out of 25 students) said it was challenging but fun and 8% (2 out of 25 students) said learning mathematics made them curious. In (indicator 4, Frequently used learning resources) there were 56% (14 out of 25 students) stated that worksheets were the primary learning source, and 44% (11 out of 25 students) answered textbooks. Conclusion: This research concludes that students need new learning resources such as interactive multimedia in speed and discharge subjects, indicating that 100% of students support and need this media in learning.

Abstract

Perkembangan modul ajar pembelajaran sangat diperlukan sebagai penunjang pembelajaran, khususnya mata pelajaran IPA. Pembelajaran yang berisi muatan mengenai alam ini tentu lebih efektif jika dilaksanakan menggunakan pendekatan kontekstual atau konteks nyata. Penelitian studi meta-analisis ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat validitas dan praktikalitas pengembangan modul IPA berbasis kontekstual. Pencarian studi dilakukan pada rentang tahun 2017 sampai 2023 pada basis data Google Scholar. Hasil pencarian menghasilkan sepuluh studi yang memiliki kesamaan yang dapat dianalisis dari segi valid dan praktis. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa tingkat validitas pengembangan modul IPA berbasis kontekstual pada aspek materi 0,90 kategori valid, aspek media 0,87 kategori valid, dan aspek Bahasa 0,89 kategori valid. Tingkat kepraktisan pendidik 0,82 kategori sangat tinggi dan kepraktisan peserta didik 0,86 kategori sangat tinggi. Modul IPA berbasis kontekstual yang dikembangkan dikategorikan valid dan sangat praktis sehingga dapat digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran IPA.

Abstract

Green skills (GSs) have become one of the important strategies for achieving sustainable development. It can make the environment effective for social and economic development. The aim of this research is to reveal data on the evolution and development of green skills and trends in the development of green jobs throughout the world. This research uses R Studio and Bibliometrix to analyze 198 papers related to green skills in green jobs published from 2018 to 2022 in the Scopus database using Bibliometrix and visualization mapping methods. The results show a substantial increase in the number of studies GSs in recent years, with the focus area in European and American countries leading this research. Aspects of Will, manufacturing and Energy, and Journals of Green Environmental Management are the first three journals cited in the study of GSs.  Studying the cited literature together on environmentally friendly skills includes, among other things, the relationship between other skills and ecosystems with human good health, green construction, evaluation and green management of environmentally friendly competencies, and analysis of specific aspects of environmentally friendly skills. The results of the analysis of green skills grouping keywords show that there is research that concentrates on green skills in the fields of education, ecosystem services, climate change, and biodiversity protection. In conclusion, this research provides a reference for future studies of green skills necessary for the development of a sustainable educational environment, such as a multidisciplinary approach, adaptation of new technologies, partnerships with sustainable technology green industries, and environmental awareness.

Abstract

Pemenuhan gizi merupakan salah satu hal yang perlu mendapatkan perhatian oleh berbagai pihak,salah satunya pemenuhan gizi pada siswa di SDN 3 Kasongan Lama. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalahmemberikan kegiatan edukasi kepada para siswa di SDN 3 Kasongan Lama khususnya mengenaipemenuhan gizi. Metode yang dilaksanakan pada kegiatan ini berupa kegiatan sosialisasi yangditerapkan kepada 21 orang siswa kelas IV di SDN 3 Kasongan Lama. Kegiatan dilaksanakan padabulan April-Mei 2024 yang dilaksanakan secara offline. Materi yang disampaikan pada kegiatan iniadalah mengenai gizi seimbang yang diselingi dengan kegiatan permainan supaya peserta kegiatantetap semangat mengikuti kegiatan secara keseluruhan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa para siswamulai memahami mengenai pemenuhan gizi harian dan kegiatan serupa perlu untuk terus dilaksanakanbaik pada siswa lain di SDN 3 Kasongan Lama maupun di sekolah lain.

Abstract

Menjadi calon guru yang professional dalam merancang sebuah proposal penelitian merupakan hal yang sangat penting. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini berfokus kepada peningkatan kemampuan mahasiswa selaku para calon guru dalam menyusun rancangan penelitiannya di bidang pendidikan melalui metodlogi penelitian. Kegiatan dilaksanakan selama 5 bulan yakni dari bulan September 2024 sampai Januari 2025 yang diikuti oleh 25 orang peserta mahasiswa Universitas Muhammadiyah Palangkaraya program studi Pendidikan Teknologi Informasi. Kegiatan ini terdiri dari tiga tahapan yaitu tahapan persiapan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa sebesar 85% mahasiswa telah mampu Menyusun proposal atau rancangan penelitian dengan tepat, diukur dari kesesuaian metode penelitian yang digunakan dengan permasalahan yang akan diteliti. Hal ini tentunya dapat menjadi acuan untuk pengembangan kegiatan kedepan dalam meningkatkan kualitas penyusunan rancangan penelitian mahasiswa selaku calon guru.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengukur supervisi nilai keseriusan untuk melihat kemampuan guru dalam menilai hasil belajar peserta didik. Subjek penelitian adalah guru wali kelas di Sekolah Menengah Pertama yang terdiri dari 8 orang guru. Objek penelitian adalah peningkatan kemampuan guru dalam melakukan kegiatan penilaian hasil belajar. Lokus penelitian berada di Sekolah Menengah Pertama Santa Maria Muara Teweh. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan membaca data dengan cara membandingkan hasil dari sebelum dilakukan tindakan dan sesudah tindakan. Analisis data ini dilakukan pada saat tahapan refleksi. Temuan penelitian yaitu pelaksanaan supervisi kelas terbukti dapat meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam melaksanakan kegiatan penilaian hasil belajar. Guru menunjukkan nilai keseriusan dalam memahami dan melaksanakan kegiatan penilaian hasil belajar. Observasi memperlihatkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan kemampuan guru melaksanakan kegiatan penilaian hasil belajar dari siklus ke siklus. Pada siklus I nilai rata-rata capaian secara klasikal dari 42,82 dengan kategori kurang, meningkat menjadi 67,82 dengan kategori cukup serta pada siklus terakhir menjadi 86,11 dengan kategori baik, dan secara individual per guru dari 2 orang atau 33,33% pada siklus pertama meningkat menjadi 100% atau 6 orang guru pada siklus terakhir.

Abstract

Learning style is a learning characteristic that is closely related to a person's way of absorbing knowledge. Information related to the characteristics of learning styles is very useful for lecturers to improve the quality of learning. The purpose of this study was to analyze the characteristics of learning styles (auditory, visual and kinesthetic) students of the Elementary School Teacher Education University of Muhammadiyah Palangkaraya by using descriptive qualitative research methods. The subjects in this study were 55 fourth semester students who took the Basic Concept Science course. The results showed that students had learning styles that varied between auditory, visual and kinesthetic learning styles but with the frequency of learning style tendencies that were more dominant in the kinesthetic learning style (75.1%). These findings can be one of the references for lecturers in the course to adjust their lecture activities with the characteristics of their students.
