Abstract

BACKGROUND: Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA) is widely used for assessing cognitive function in chronic kidney disease (CKD) patients, but its effectiveness in Indonesian CKD populations remains unclear compared to studies in other regions. OBJECTIVES: To evaluate the reliability and validity of the translated MoCA in assessing cognitive impairment among dialysis patients. METHODS: This cross-sectional study was conducted at the hemodialysis and Continuous Ambulatory Peritoneal Dialysis (CAPD) unit of RSUD Dr. Saiful Anwar in Indonesia from January to February 2024. The study utilized the Indonesian Version of MoCA for cognitive assessment. Reliability and validity of the questionnaire were evaluated using Cronbach's Alpha and Pearson validity test methods. RESULTS: In this study, 43 participants were enrolled, including 21 undergoing hemodialysis and 22 receiving CAPD. MoCA's reliability was confirmed with Cronbach's Alpha values of 0.648 for hemodialysis and 0.737 for CAPD, indicating strong internal consistency. The questionnaire exhibited favorable discriminatory power, with corrected item-total correlation scores exceeding 0.3 for all items in both groups. Validity demonstrated strong construct validity, with critical values surpassing standard references. All statistical significance levels were below 0.05, affirming MoCA's reliability in assessing cognitive function in dialysis patients. CONCLUSION: In conclusion, our study has demonstrated that the translated MoCA is valid and reliable for assessing cognitive function in CKD patients undergoing dialysis.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian yaitu untuk mengetahui peningkatan pendapatan petani Agribisnis Bawang Merah Di Desa Bulu Kecamatan Balen Kabupaten Bojonegoro dan untuk mengetahui tingkat pendapatan usahatani bawang merah di Desa Bulu Kecamatan Balen Kabupaten Bojonegoro Hipotesa dalam penelitian ini yaitu, diduga ada peningkatan secara signifikan di sektor bawang merah di Desa Bulu Kecamatan Balen Kabupaten Bojonegoro Penelitian di Desa Bulu Kecamatan Balen. Karena di Desa Bulu tersebut banyak petani yang menanam bawang merah .penelitian ini di mulai april sampai juni 2019 . pada usahatani bawang merah pada musim tanam tahun 2019 metode pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode sensus yaitu 31 petani. Biaya total yang dikeluarkan petani untuk usahatani bawang merah perluasan lahan rata-rata permusim tanam sebesar Rp. 12.601.000,- sedangkan penerimaan usahatani per luasan rata-rata usahatani per musim tanam di Desa Bulu Kecamatan Balen sebesar Rp. 43.462.500,- dalam rata- rata luasan lahan pendapatan atas biaya totalnya per luasan rata-rata lahan di Desa Bulu Kecamatan Balen sebesar Rp. 30.361.000,- . sejalan dengan penghitungan , maka nilai R/C ratio adalah 3,44 yang artinya dengan biaya input sebesar Rp. 1,00 pada usahatani bawang merah di Desa Bulu Kecamatan Balen akan menerima penerimaan Rp. 3,44

Abstract

The Young Generation or known as Gen-Z is known to have been exposed to technology from an early age, and is closer to the rapid development of technology, it triggers the younger generation to easily understand technology and can easily adapt it in everyday life. Gen-Z grew up with AI technologies such as virtual assistants (Siri, Alexa), recommendation systems (Netflix, Spotify), and AI-based learning applications, AI enables personalization of user experience across multiple platforms, something that is highly valued by Gen-Z. The urgency of the latest AI technology that can generate unique content (ranging from ideas to content in the form of text, images, audio, video, synthetic data, program code, etc.), makes it easier to create websites with digital and automation stages. Some Gen-AI products that are widely used by the younger generation include ChatGPT, DALL-E, Midjourney, etc. which are now often useful in various daily needs. Jaringan Pemuda & Remaja Masjid Indonesia (JPRMI) has many positive activities in the organization but does not have the skills in making content using AI (Artificial Intelligence) and does not have the skills in making creative content concepts that are able to target the audience appropriately. The end of this training has the aim of understanding the knowledge and skills in terms of content creation using AI (Artificial Intelligence) and understanding the steps in creating creative content concepts that are able to target audiences precisely, accurately, effectively and efficiently for the management of the Indonesian Mosque Youth & Youth Network (JPRMI) in organizational activities.

Abstract

Background: Hypertension is a global health problem that contributes significantly to deaths from cardiovascular disease. Unhealthy lifestyles, including excessive salt consumption, physical inactivity, and obesity, are the primary factors. Without management, hypertension can lead to serious complications such as heart disease, stroke, and kidney failure. Objective: This study aims to investigate, summarise, and identify various scientific evidence related to hypertension risk factors. Methods: This study employed a scoping review approach organised according to the PRISMA protocol. The Population–Concept–Context (PCC) framework was utilised as an initial guideline in formulating research questions and searching for relevant articles. The literature search process was conducted using several databases, including Google Scholar and Scopus. The included articles had to meet the inclusion criteria, which were limited to open-access journals published between 2020 and 2025. From a total of 512 articles found, only 14 met the selection criteria and were suitable for analysis. The data extraction process was conducted by eight people on the 14 selected articles, followed by qualitative data analysis. Results: The findings indicate that factors such as age, gender, length of employment, consumption of salt, sugary drinks, high-fat foods, elevated total cholesterol levels, low vegetable intake, lack of physical activity, stress, and abdominal circumference that exceeds the recommended play a role in increasing the risk of hypertension. Conclusion: These factors trigger fluid retention, insulin resistance, dyslipidemia, and central obesity that together raise blood pressure and accelerate vascular damage.

Abstract

Latar belakang: Rendahnya kepatuhan dalam mengonsumsi obat antihipertensi menjadi hambatan bagi keberhasilan pengendalian tekanan darah, serta berkontribusi pada peningkatan risiko komplikasi kardiovaskular dan beban pelayanan kesehatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi determinan kepatuhan konsumsi obat pada penderita hipertensi. Metode: Studi ini menggunakan desain potong lintang (cross-sectional). Populasi penelitian mencakup seluruh pasien hipertensi yang berobat di Puskesmas Klinik Pratama Polkes 01.10.02 Lubuk Pakam pada tahun 2025, dengan jumlah 95 orang. Seluruh populasi dijadikan sampel penelitian melalui teknik total sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada pasien hipertensi, sedangkan analisis data dilakukan dengan uji Chi-Square pada tingkat signifikansi α = 0,05. Hasil: Sebanyak 65,3% responden diketahui tidak patuh dalam mengonsumsi obat, sedangkan 34,7% responden patuh dalam konsumsi obat. Faktor-faktor seperti tingkat pendidikan yang rendah, pengetahuan yang kurang, jarak tempat tinggal ≥1 km, minimnya dukungan keluarga, lama konsumsi obat, serta tidak adanya paparan edukasi kesehatan terbukti berhubungan signifikan dengan kepatuhan konsumsi obat. Kesimpulan: Kepatuhan konsumsi obat pada penderita hipertensi dapat dipengaruhi oleh aspek pendidikan, pengetahuan, jarak tempat tinggal, dukungan keluarga, durasi konsumsi obat, dan edukasi kesehatan.

Abstract

Background: Tuberculosis (TB) remains a major health issue in Indonesia, closely linked to environmental risk factors such as poor ventilation and inadequate sanitation. Objective: To evaluate the health service management system in controlling environmental risk factors for TB at Hutabaginda Health Center, North Tapanuli District. Research Methods: This study employed a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and document studies, and analyzed using thematic analysis with data triangulation. Results: Although policies for controlling environmental risk factors exist, their implementation faces challenges, including limited trained human resources, inadequate sanitation facilities, weak supervision, and suboptimal coordination with local government. These obstacles reduce the effectiveness of environmental-based TB control programs. Conclusion: The health service management system at Hutabaginda Health Center has not been optimal in controlling environmental risk factors for TB. Strengthening healthcare worker training, improving infrastructure, enhancing internal supervision, and intensifying coordination with local government are essential to improve TB control effectiveness.

Results: The study found that although policies for controlling environmental risks exist, implementation faces challenges including limited trained personnel, inadequate sanitation facilities, weak supervision, and suboptimal coordination with local governments. Conclusion: the health service management system at Hutabaginda Health Center has not yet been optimal in controlling environmental risk factors for TB. It is recommended that the health center strengthen healthcare worker training, improve sanitation facilities, enhance internal supervision, and intensify cross-sectoral coordination to improve TB control effectiveness.

Abstract

Technological and socio-economic developments have generated significant challenges for the application of Article 1977 of the Indonesian Civil Code (Burgerlijk Wetboek/BW), which governs ownership of unnamed movable property. Normatively, this provision stipulates that possession is deemed equivalent to ownership. However, in practice, difficulties arise in relation to modern electronic devices such as mobile phones and laptops, which can be uniquely identified through IMEI codes or serial numbers. This study examines the binding force of Article 1977 of the Civil Code, explores the legal issues associated with the ownership of unnamed movable property, and evaluates the provision’s relevance within the contemporary socio-economic and technological context. The research employs a normative juridical approach, supported by doctrinal analysis, statutory interpretation, and review of empirical literature on movable property ownership. Findings reveal that, although Article 1977 continues to provide formal legal certainty, it fails to adequately address technological advancements. Accordingly, the integration of digital identification mechanisms is essential to ensure substantive justice and safeguard property rights.

Abstract

This community service program aims to empower the Millennial Coffee Farmers Group (GAPOKTAN) in Tlumpak Hamlet, Semarang Regency, through integrated transformation in coffee management. Tlumpak Hamlet has abundant coffee resources. However, this abundant coffee resource potential is limited by the integrated roasting process, including post-harvest, roasting, marketing, and product legality. The main challenges faced by millennial coffee farmers are limited skills in using professional roasting machines, word-of-mouth sales, and the lack of a Home Industry Food Certificate (SPP-IRT). The implemented solution encompasses three crucial aspects: (1) Production Technology: Professional training in coffee roasting to create specialty coffee with the distinctive flavor of Tlumpak Hamlet, supported by a partnership with the Coffee Factory Community (KnK). (2) Marketing: Digital branding development through the creation of social media accounts, websites, and e-commerce platforms to expand market reach and increase sales. (3) Business Management: Assistance with SPP-IRT and halal certification applications to improve product legality and competitiveness. Implementation methods include education, training, and intensive, participatory mentoring. Expected outcomes are significant improvements in roasting skills (target 80%), increased sales through digital platforms (target 80%), and obtaining official government certification. Mandatory service outputs include publications in accredited national journals, media reports, activity videos, Copyright, and Implementation Agreements. This program is expected to transform farmers into independent, competitive coffee entrepreneurs and contribute to sustainable local economic development.

Abstract

Pengabdian Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk menangakal dan mencegah paham radikalisme melalui kearifan lokal social culture Madura. Dengan bermitrakan Karang Taruna Persada (Persatuan Pemuda) Desa Ponteh Kecamatan Galis Kabupaten Pamekasan. Pemberdayaan masyarakat ini, memposisikan karang taruna sebagai objek utama dalam mentrasnformasikan pemahaman tentang radikalisme dan diharapkan dapat menginternalisasikan nilai-nilai social culture dengan beberapa tahapan-tahapan, meliputi: perencanaan, pelaksanaan, monitoring dan evaluasi. Pengabdian masyarakat ini menggunakan beberapa metode diantaranya: pelatihan, pendampingan, dan pengawasan. Keempat tahapan dan metode di atas merupakan tahapan kegiatan pelakasanaan pengabdian masyarakat dalam bentuk pendidikan berbasis komunitas untuk melahirkan generasi muda Karang Taruna Persada menjadi generas muda yang memiliki nilai hablu min al-allah wa hablu min al-nas, nasionalisme dan patriotism dengan menjunjung tinggi ideologi negara republik Indonesia yang berdasarkan kepada Pancasila dan Undang-undang Dasar 1945.
