Abstract

Perencanaan beban kerja guru merupakan elemen krusial dalam manajemen pendidikan untuk menjamin terpenuhinya Standar Pengelolaan Pendidikan di sekolah dasar. Observasi awal di SDN Tirtayasa Kota Tasikmalaya, ketiadaan tenaga administrasi menyebabkan guru menangani seluruh tugas administratif (Dapodik, BOS, pengelolaan sarpras, dan pelaporan digital), sehingga timbul ketidakseimbangan beban kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pelaksanaan perencanaan beban kerja guru dalam memenuhi standar pengelolaan pendidikan menggunakan kerangka fungsi planning Luther Gulick (1937) meliputi penentuan tujuan, strategi, rencana kegiatan, prosedur, dan metode pelaksanaan. Pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif digunakan, dengan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi non-partisipatif, dan studi dokumentasi terhadap kepala sekolah serta sepuluh orang guru, dianalisis menggunakan model interaktif Miles, Huberman, dan Saldaña (2014) melalui tahaapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perencanaan beban kerja guru telah dilakukan secara cukup sistematis melalui pendekatan kolaboratif, rotasi tugas, dan pemanfaatan TIK. Kelima fungsi planning terlaksana baik pada tugas pokok mengajar, tetapi masih suboptimal pada tugas tambahan administratif akibat kurangnya dokumentasi rinci, prosedur yang belum baku, dan ketergantungan pada pengalaman individu guru. Akibatnya, Standar Pengelolaan Pendidikan tercapai secara formal-administratif, tetapi belum optimal secara substansial dan berkelanjutan karena masih sangat bergantung pada kerja ekstra serta pengorbanan pribadi guru. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penambahan tenaga administrasi sekolah atau penguatan sistem teknologi berbasis SOP terperinci disertai pelatihan kompetensi digital merata bagi seluruh guru.

Abstract

This study focuses on analyzing the role of the principal's administrative management in academic supervision as a strategic effort to improve teacher performance at Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs). Academic supervision is viewed not merely as an evaluative activity, but as a comprehensive administrative process that supports professional development and continuous improvement among teachers. To achieve this objective, the study employed a qualitative research approach with data collected through three main techniques. First, in-depth interviews were conducted to obtain detailed information regarding the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the principal's administrative practices in academic supervision. Second, direct observations were carried out to examine how supervisory planning, implementation, and evaluation were applied in real school settings. Third, document analysis was used to review relevant administrative documents, including supervision plans, implementation records, and evaluation reports prepared by the principal. Data were analyzed using the interactive analysis model developed by Miles and Huberman, which involves data reduction, data display, and the drawing and verification of conclusions. This analytical approach enabled the researcher to systematically interpret complex qualitative data and identify meaningful patterns related to supervisory administration. To ensure the credibility and trustworthiness of the findings, data validity was strengthened through source triangulation and technique triangulation, as well as member checking with key informants to confirm the accuracy of interpretations. The findings reveal that well-organized administrative management of academic supervision, covering systematic planning, implementation, documentation, reporting, evaluation, and follow-up, plays a significant role in enhancing teacher performance at MTs. However, several key challenges were identified during the implementation process, including time constraints due to the principal's multiple administrative responsibilities and the lack of standardized supervision instruments. To address these obstacles, the principal implemented several strategic solutions: delegating certain supervisory tasks to senior teachers, developing flexible supervision schedules, and creating contextualized supervision instruments adapted to the specific needs of the madrasah. Effective supervisory administration encourages teachers to improve their instructional practices, thereby contributing positively to the overall quality of learning.

Abstract

Early childhood education plays a strategic role in establishing the foundation for long-term development, making the quality of learning planning a crucial factor in determining the effectiveness of the learning process. This study aims to describe how early childhood education (PAUD) learning planning can improve teachers' pedagogical competence through the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Rengasdengklok District. This research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach to explore the practice of AI-based learning planning in depth, with a descriptive study involving PAUD teachers as the main subjects. The results show that the use of AI helps teachers develop more systematic, adaptive, and developmentally appropriate learning plans. Teachers utilize AI applications and tools to identify student characteristics, design varied learning strategies, and develop more structured daily plans. The use of AI also strengthens teachers' ability to organize materials and select learning methods appropriate to the classroom context. Furthermore, AI integration has been shown to encourage teachers to be more reflective in the planning process through more accurate data analysis. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of improving PAUD teachers' digital literacy and institutional support in providing adequate technological devices.

Abstract

This article explores the patterns of guidance and counseling in developing student character within Madrasah settings. It emphasizes the importance of instilling strong character values in students, which are essential for their spiritual, social, and personal development. The study highlights that education is a conscious effort to create a learning atmosphere where students can actively develop their potential, including spiritual strength, self-control, personality, intelligence, and moral integrity. In conclusion, the article underscores the necessity of a comprehensive approach to character education in Madrasah, integrating religious, social, and environmental values to cultivate well-rounded individuals capable of contributing positively to society.

Abstract

Despite the integration of digital technologies in education, Indonesian students' literacy remains concerning, with PISA 2022 showing only 25% achieving basic reading proficiency. This study investigates how digital media-based Indonesian language learning is managed through classical management functions to support literacy development. A qualitative multiple case study design was employed at two public senior high schools in different regional contexts. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews with four teachers and twenty-four students, classroom observations across sixteen sessions, and document analysis. Thematic analysis was conducted using Terry's management framework encompassing planning, organizing, actuating, and controlling functions. Both schools implemented all four management functions but with different emphases. SMAN 1 Tegalwaru demonstrated high adaptive capacity through flexible planning and contingency strategies despite infrastructural limitations, while SMAN 1 Cikatomas exhibited more systematic procedural consistency. Critical gaps were identified in organizational documentation and supervision follow-up mechanisms across both sites. Unexpectedly, resource constraints at Tegalwaru stimulated independent digital literacy behaviors among students. Effective digital literacy development depends not merely on technological access but on the quality, adaptability, and systematization of learning management practices. Strengthening teachers' adaptive expertise, formalizing documentation processes, and establishing structured supervision feedback loops are essential for sustainable improvement.

Abstract

Character-based arts extracurricular activities represent promising interventions for holistic student development, yet limited research examines their systematic management and relationship to academic achievement in resource-constrained elementary school contexts. This study investigated the management practices of character-based arts extracurricular activities and their influence on student academic achievement in two Indonesian elementary schools. Employing a qualitative descriptive case study design, data were collected through semi-structured interviews with school administrators, teachers, and parents; systematic observations of extracurricular activities; and document analysis of program materials and evaluation reports at SDN Citamiang 1 and SDN Karang Tengah in Sukabumi City. Thematic analysis examined management practices across planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating dimensions. Both schools demonstrated systematic management approaches integrating character education within arts instruction through experiential learning, explicit reflection practices, and stakeholder collaboration. Students participating consistently for two or more semesters showed enhanced academic performance and character development in discipline, responsibility, and teamwork. Implementation challenges included qualified instructor shortages and material resource constraints, addressed through community partnerships, creative pedagogical adaptations, and enhanced parent engagement. Systematic management of character-based arts extracurricular activities effectively facilitates character development and academic achievement enhancement despite resource limitations. Findings provide replicable models for schools seeking to implement integrated arts-character programs while highlighting the importance of sustained participation, institutional adaptability, and multi-stakeholder collaboration for program success.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran etika administrasi sekolah dalam meningkatkan kedisiplinan siswa di SD Negeri Jati 2, Kecamatan Bojongpicung. Etika administrasi sekolah tidak hanya berkaitan dengan penerapan prosedur teknis dan tata kelola administratif, tetapi juga mencakup internalisasi nilai-nilai integritas, transparansi, keadilan, dan akuntabilitas dalam seluruh proses pengelolaan pendidikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan desain studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan studi dokumentasi yang melibatkan kepala sekolah, guru, serta siswa, dengan total populasi sebanyak 98 siswa yang terdiri dari 40 siswa laki-laki dan 58 siswa perempuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan administrasi sekolah yang berlandaskan etika, khususnya melalui penggunaan Buku Kendali Disiplin sebagai instrumen pengawasan dan pembinaan, memberikan dampak positif terhadap peningkatan kedisiplinan siswa. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh peningkatan tingkat kehadiran siswa hingga mencapai 95%, penurunan keterlambatan siswa, serta penurunan pelanggaran atribut seragam sebesar 54%. Selain itu, kepatuhan siswa dalam pengumpulan tugas juga mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan. Pemberian sanksi yang bersifat mendidik dan tidak mengandung unsur hukuman fisik terbukti efektif dalam membentuk karakter disiplin dan tanggung jawab siswa. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa penguatan etika administrasi sekolah berperan penting dalam menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang kondusif serta mendukung pembentukan karakter disiplin siswa di tingkat sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya kesiapan administrasi sekolah dalam mendukung implementasi Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5) sebagai bagian dari kebijakan Kurikulum Merdeka. P5 berperan strategis dalam pembentukan karakter peserta didik melalui pengintegrasian nilai-nilai Pancasila dalam pembelajaran berbasis projek yang kontekstual dan berorientasi pada penguatan kompetensi abad ke-21. Kesiapan administrasi sekolah menjadi faktor kunci keberhasilan program, terutama dalam perencanaan modul projek, pengorganisasian tim fasilitator, pengelolaan jadwal kegiatan, pengadministrasian kegiatan pembelajaran, serta sistem pelaporan dan evaluasi yang akuntabel dan berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kesiapan administrasi sekolah dalam implementasi P5 di SD Negeri Jati 1 Kecamatan Bojongpicung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi terhadap pelaksanaan kegiatan P5, wawancara dengan kepala sekolah dan guru, serta studi dokumentasi terhadap dokumen administrasi sekolah yang berkaitan dengan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi P5. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa administrasi sekolah di SD Negeri Jati 1 telah tersusun secara sistematis dan terintegrasi sehingga mampu mendukung kelancaran implementasi P5. Namun demikian, masih ditemukan beberapa kendala, khususnya keterbatasan sarana digital yang mempengaruhi efisiensi administrasi berbasis teknologi. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kesiapan administrasi sekolah yang terstruktur dan akuntabel berperan penting dalam menjamin keberlangsungan dan efektivitas pelaksanaan P5 serta mendukung pencapaian tujuan pembentukan karakter peserta didik sesuai dengan dimensi Profil Pelajar Pancasila.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi administrasi sekolah dalam meningkatkan efektivitas proses belajar dan kedisiplinan siswa di SDN Jati 3. Administrasi sekolah dipahami tidak hanya sebagai kegiatan tata usaha, tetapi sebagai bagian integral dari manajemen pendidikan yang mencakup perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, dan pengawasan kegiatan pendidikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan kepala sekolah, guru, dan siswa, observasi langsung terhadap proses pembelajaran dan penerapan disiplin, serta studi dokumentasi terhadap arsip administrasi sekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa administrasi kurikulum di SDN Jati 3 telah berjalan secara terstruktur, ditunjukkan oleh tingkat kepatuhan guru dalam penyusunan perangkat pembelajaran yang mencapai 100%, sehingga mendukung kejelasan alur pembelajaran di kelas. Selain itu, administrasi kesiswaan melalui penerapan Buku Kendali Disiplin terbukti mampu meningkatkan kedisiplinan siswa, dengan penurunan tingkat keterlambatan sebesar 25% dan peningkatan kehadiran siswa hingga 95% dalam satu semester. Pemanfaatan teknologi informasi dalam administrasi sekolah juga berkontribusi terhadap efisiensi pengelolaan data, meskipun masih ditemukan kendala berupa keterbatasan sarana dan kemampuan adaptasi sebagian guru. Partisipasi orang tua yang meningkat turut memperkuat keberhasilan penerapan kebijakan administrasi sekolah secara berkelanjutan. Disimpulkan bahwa administrasi sekolah yang terstruktur, transparan, dan akuntabel berperan penting dalam menciptakan iklim belajar yang kondusif serta meningkatkan kedisiplinan siswa.

Abstract

This research was conducted to find out how counseling guidance services can develop the intelligence of Bandung Tourism High School students. The object of the research is grade XI students of Bandung Tourism High School. The type of research used in this study is field research or field research which is qualitative descriptive research. Data collection techniques with interviews, observations and documentation. The data collection technique consists of data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawn. The results of the study show that the paradigm of BK services at Tourism High School has shifted towards development and prevention, no longer just curative. BK teachers position themselves as facilitators of students' personal growth, who accompanies not only when students have problems, but from the beginning of the educational process, The implementation of BK services in the school is based on philosophical, psychological, pedagogical and sociological aspects. The development of student intelligence through BK services is carried out in the field of developing intellectual intelligence, fostered through tutoring and achievement monitoring. Emotional and social intelligence is developed through counseling and group activities such as mentoring. Spiritual intelligence is strengthened through moral development programs and Islamic guidance that synergize with PAI teachers. This approach supports Gardner's idea of a compound intelligence, and also affirms the role of Islamic education in shaping human beings. Although it has been running quite effectively, there are still challenges such as limited counseling room facilities and the need to increase the professional capacity of BK teachers, especially in the use of technology and strengthening Islamic values-based approaches.
