Abstract

The increasing adoption of digital technologies in sports management highlights the need for efficient, data-driven systems that enhance community engagement and program evaluation. However, regional sports organizations in Indonesia, such as the Central Java Regional Indonesian Sports Community (KORMI), still face challenges in data integration, monitoring, and communication across stakeholders. This study aimed to design and evaluate SIMPORA, an Android-based data management and analytics system that supports sports activists, trainers, and administrators in planning, monitoring, and evaluating community sports programs. Using a Research and Development (R&D) approach with the Agile development model, the system was developed and tested among 45 users, including community sports leaders and KORMI administrators. Instruments included usability testing (System Usability Scale), task completion efficiency, and user satisfaction surveys. Quantitative evaluation results showed a mean usability score of 84 (excellent category), a 27% increase in data recording accuracy, and a 34% improvement in communication efficiency compared to manual reporting. User satisfaction reached 91%, indicating strong acceptance of the system. These findings demonstrate that SIMPORA effectively facilitates real-time data-driven decision-making and enhances coordination within community sports ecosystems. The system offers practical implications for expanding digital transformation initiatives in sports management across regional and national contexts.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low quality of differentiated learning implementation in Physical Education (PJOK) lessons at the elementary school level, especially in Wonokerto District. Many teachers still use conventional learning methods, with minimal student participation and limited teaching modules less suited to local needs and contexts. This research aims to develop a differentiated learning model with a Sport Education Model (SEM) approach through invasion games. This model is designed to create an interesting, contextual learning experience and can adapt to the characteristics and potential of students. The study used the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE approach, which includes the stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The research subjects comprised 112 students and 4 Physical Education and Health (PJOK) teachers. The instruments included expert validation (materials, media, and pedagogy), teacher and student response questionnaires, and affective assessment. The research results show that the differentiated learning model based on the Sports Education Model is feasible and effective for implementing Physical Education (PJOK) instruction in elementary schools. This model can increase active student engagement, create a pleasant learning environment, and adapt to the characteristics and needs of students. A differentiated learning model through Sport Education. The invasion game-based model has proven more effective than conventional learning approaches in increasing student active engagement and motivation in elementary school Physical Education (PJOK) subjects. This model received an "excellent" rating from subject matter, media, and pedagogical experts and positive feedback from students and PJOK teachers.

Abstract

In sports, there are several contributing factors including physical, technical, and psychological aspects. Among these, psychological factors particularly an athlete’s mental abilities play a significant role in performance. This study aims to examine the relationship between self-confidence, concentration, and goal setting on routine training scores. This research employed a test survey with a correlational approach and a cross-sectional design, meaning data was collected at one point in time. The sample consisted of 15 athletes, selected using a total sampling technique. The instruments used to collect data included: (1) Self-Confidence Scale, (2) Grid Concentration Test (GCT), (3) Goal Setting Scale, and (4) Training Score records. The results showed a strong and positive correlation between self-confidence, concentration, and goal setting with routine training scores. Specifically, self-confidence had a significant correlation with training scores (Sig. 2-tailed = 0.004), concentration (Sig. 2-tailed = 0.000), and goal setting (Sig. 2-tailed = 0.025). Furthermore, the combined influence of self-confidence, concentration, and goal setting on training scores was also significant, with a Sig. F Change value of 0.000 and an R square (R²) of 0.852. This indicates that 85.2% of the variance in training scores can be explained jointly by these three variables. The study concludes that self-confidence, concentration, and goal setting are significantly and simultaneously associated with routine training scores. The development of psychological aspects such as self-confidence, the ability to focus, and structured training goals is a crucial part of athlete development, particularly for archers in the BPPLOP Archery Program of Central Java, in order to achieve optimal training outcomes.

Abstract

This study investigates the complex relationship between work patterns, physical activity, and physiological indicators specifically resting heart rate and blood pressure with the psychological well-being of female office workers at Tritunggal Christian School Semarang. Given the high administrative demands often faced by female workers, this research utilized a quantitative approach with a total sampling method (N=78). Well-being was measured using the Warwick-Edinburgh Mental Wellbeing Scale (WEMWBS), and data were analyzed through Spearman's Rank correlation. The statistical results revealed that all null hypotheses were accepted (p > 0.05): Work Pattern (p=0.290; ρ=-0.150), Physical Activity (p=0.697; ρ=0.045), Resting Heart Rate (p=0.783; ρ=0.031), and Blood Pressure (p=0.661; ρ=0.045). These findings suggest that physiological and behavioral factors are not direct predictors of well-being in this specific community. The lack of significance is largely attributed to the "restriction of range" in physiological data and the dominant role of Christian spirituality and social support as a "super buffer" (Colossians 3:23 and 2 Timothy 1:7). This spiritual foundation effectively maintains well-being stability by framing work as a divine calling, regardless of job demands. Consequently, this research recommends prioritizing internal psychological and spiritual resources for future employee well-being interventions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the level of participation of older adults in recreational soccer activities based on Arnstein's Ladder of Citizen Participation (1969). Given the rapid growth of the older adult population in Indonesia, this study is important to support sustainable active aging strategies. A descriptive qualitative approach was used with 8 active elderly participants aged 60-65 years in Kediri Regency, specifically at the Mitra Muda Blabak and Amphibi Sambi clubs. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation over a period of 2-4 weeks, then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. The results showed that 75% of participants fell into the Citizen Power category, 25% into the Tokenism category, and none into the Non-Participation category. These findings indicate that recreational soccer serves as an effective means of social empowerment for older adults, supporting the principle of active aging. However, the presence of tokenism among some participants indicates the need for greater delegation of authority in decision-making. It is recommended that the development of sports programs for older adults focus more on strengthening participant agency and social integration to improve their quality of life in a sustainable manner and reduce participation gaps. Policy implications are needed to ensure more equitable access for older adults to community physical activities.
