Abstract

This study focused on phenomenon behavior of compulsive buying. The study examined how Self-Acceptance Importance, Affiliation Importance, and Community Feeling Importance influenced on Compulsive Buying. Population in this research was students in Kota Semarang, and 104 students become samples. To answer problem that is accurate, researcher applies econometrics Logit model. Result of research indicates that there were negativity influence Self-Acceptance Importance, Affiliation Importance and Community Feeling to Compulsive Buying. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menguji pengaruh pererangkaan pesan dalam iklan pada persepsi risiko konsumen yang dimoderasi oleh motivasi konsumen. Untuk menguji hipotesis, penelitian ini menggunakan eksperimen dengan desain faktorial 2x2. Pererangkaan pesan merupakan variabel independen yang dimanipulasi ke dalam pererangkaan pesan positif dan pererangkaan pesan negatif. Persepsi risiko konsumen merupakan variabel dependen. Sedangkan motivasi konsumen merupakan variabel moderasi yang diukur menjadi dua kategori, yaitu motivasi rasional dan motivasi emosional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara persepsi risiko konsumen dengan pererangkaan pesan positif dan persepsi risiko konsumen dengan pererangkaan pesan negatif dan motivasi konsumen memoderasi pengaruh pererangkaan pesan pada persepsi risiko konsumen.Kata kunci: pererangkaan pesan, motivasi, motif rasional, motif emosional, persepsi risiko konsumen.

Abstract

Marketing communication is defined as an attempt by companies to inform, persuade, and remind consumers both directly and indirectly about the products and brands that are sold (Kotler and Keller, 2009: 510). Marketers need to pay attention to the importance of the sender/source/sender/source/endorser is used in advertising. Sender/source/endorser will convey information, persuade or remind consumers about a product or service. Process with celebrity and expert endorsements influence change consumer attitudes and beliefs may be different (Freiden, 1984 as quoted by Biswas et al, 2006). Soliha and Zulfa (2009) suggests there are differences in risk perception of consumers on advertising by using celebrity endorser and expert endorser. Consumers feel the perception of lower risk with expert endorser than celebrity endorser. This indicates that the presences of the use of expert endorsers are more effective than celebrity endorsers in advertising.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the effect of the message framing on the perceived psychological risk on green environmental issues. Consumers nowadays have become more critical about issues on green consumer due to the increasing levels of consumers’ knowledge. Government and marketers also should perform active movement to increase consumers’ awareness of their environment. Those include giving a message to the consumers. When marketers deliver the message, they need to concern about message framing. Message framing is likely to influence the consumer's perception. Research design used in this study is design experiments. In this case the message was manipulated by message framing: positive and negative. The hypothesis of this study, H1: There are differences in perceived psychological risk perception on advertising by using positive and negative message framing, H2: There are differences in perceived psychological risk of consumers on advertising by using positive and negative framing that is reinforced with consumer knowledge. The analysis results of hypothesis 1 showed that there are significant differences in perceived psychological risk on advertising by using positive and negative message framing. Consumers feel that perceived psychological risk is lower in the ad with a positive message framing. Therefore, on advertising products related to green consumer issues, using positive message framing will be more effective. The analysis result of hypothesis 2 showed that there are no significant difference in perceived psychological risk on advertising by using positive and negative message framing that is reinforced by consumer knowledge. Consumer knowledge did not moderate the effect of message framing on perceived psychological risk.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of product quality, brand image and perception of the price of the consumer buying decision process matic Honda motorcycles. The population in this study were matic Honda motorcycle users. The samples in this study using purposive sampling, which means that sample based on specific criteria, namely: those who are older and those who use and have matic Honda motorcycles. The analytical tool used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the analysis can be concluded that: product quality, positive influence on consumer buying decision process matic Honda motorcycles. Brand image positive influence on consumer buying decision process matic Honda motorcycles. Perception price positive influence on consumer buying decision process matic Honda motorcycles.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the difference in consumer risk perception between celebrity and expert endorser in advertisement. We proposed two hypothesis, H1: There is a difference in consumer risk perception between an expert endorser and celebrityendorser in college advertisement. H2: There is a difference in consumer risk perception between an expert endorser and a celebrity endorser in college advertisement, which is moderated by the consumer product knowledge.Experimental design was employed in this study with Statistical Experimental-Completely Randomized Design. This was conducted on three groups to test H1 and six groups to test H2. To test H1, the participant of each group was given full color print ads using celebrity endorser, expert endorser and nonendorser in advertisement. We gofurther splitting each group with high and low consumer product knowledge to test H2.The participants of this research are 200 students of SMA 7 Semarang. We use One Way Anova to test H1 and two ways Anova to test H2. Our findings showed that there is a difference in consumer risk perception between an expert endorser and celebrity endorser in college advertisement. We also found that there is no differencein consumer risk perception between an expert endorser and a celebrity endorser in college’s advertisement, which is moderated by the consumer product knowledge. We also found that there is difference in consumer’s perceived performance risk, consumer’sperceived financial risk and consumer’s social risk between an expert and celebrity endorser in College advertisement. On the other hand, we found there is no difference in consumer perceived psychological risk between an expert and celebrity endorser in College advertisement.Keywords: celebrity endorser, expert endorser, consumer risk perception, consumer product knowledge.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Kualitas Produk, Persepsi Harga dan Promosi terhadap Keputusan Pembelian sepeda motor vario 150cc di Desa Demaan Kota Jepara. Penelitian ini menggunkan metode kuantitatif yang dibantu dengan aplikasi SPSS 23. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 100 responden yang terdiri dari masyarakat Desa Demaan Kota Jeparadengan menggunakan teknik simplerandom sampling. Teknik pengumpulan datanya menggunakan kuesioner. Penelitian ini menggunakan uji instrumen, uji regresi linear berganda, uji model penelitian, dan uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa Kualitas Produk(X1) berpengaruh positif terhadap Keputusan Pembelian (Y), Persepsi Harga (X2) berpengaruh positif terhadap Keputusan Pembelian (Y) dan Promosi (X3) berpengaruh positif terhadap Keputusan Pembelian (Y).Kata Kunci: Kualitas Produk, Persepsi Harga, Promosi dan keputusan pembelian AbstractThis study aims to determine the effect of Product Quality, Price Perception and Promotion on Purchase Decisions for 150cc Vario Motorcycles in Demaan Village, Jepara City. This study uses a quantitative method assisted by the SPSS 23 application. The sample of this study amounted to 100 respondents consisting of the people of Demaan Village, Jepara City using simple random sampling technique. The data collection technique used a questionnaire. This research uses instrument test, multiple linear regression test, research model test, and hypothesis test. Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini menjelaskan pengaruh kualitas layanan, fasilitas dan lokasi terhadap kepuasan pelanggan.  Populasi  dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh konsumen yang melakukan pembelian pada My Kopi O Semarang. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 100 responden dengan metode probability sampling. Teknik analisis menggunakan analisis regresi berganda. Teknik analisis menggunakan analisis regresi berganda. Kualitas layanan berpengaruh positif terhadap kepuasan pelanggan dan dapat diartikan bahwa semakin baik kualitas layanan maka semakin meningkatkan kepuasan pelanggan My Kopi O Semarang. Fasilitas berpengaruh positif terhadap kepuasan pelanggan dan dapat diartinkan semakin baik fasilitas yang disediakan maka semakin baik kepuasan pelanggan pada My Kopi O Semarang. Lokasi berpengaruh positif terhadap kepuasan pelanggan dan dapat diartkan semakin strategis lokasi maka semakin meningkat kepuasan pelanggan pada My Kopi O Semarang.Kata Kunci : Kualitas layanan, fasilitas, lokasi dan kepuasan pelangganAbstractThis study explains the effect of service quality, facilities and location on customer satisfaction. The population in this study were all consumers who made purchases at My Kopi O Semarang. The sample in this study was 100 respondents with probability sampling method. Service quality has a positive effect on customer satisfaction and it can be interpreted that the better the service quality, the more customer satisfaction My Kopi O Semarang increases. Abstract

Teachers as educators is an educational leader, which is crucial in the learning process. Less than optimal performance of early childhood educators in District Pati, is a problem that must be addressed. Early childhood educator competencies and job characteristics in teaching should be improved as well as a strong commitment to be created and to use order to obtain higher performance. This study aims to determine the effect of teacher competence and job characteristics on performance by mediating organizational commitment (studies in early childhood education teachers in the district Pati).The research was conducted on educators of early childhood education in the District of Pati as many 140 people. Sample taking the entire population for the research sample. Data analysis use multiple regression analysis.Results reveal that the competence effect on organizational commitment. Positive effect on the employment characteristics of organizational commitment. Competence has a positive effect on the performance of early childhood educators. Job characteristics affect employee performance early childhood educators. Organizational commitment has a positive effect on the performance of early childhood educators. Organizational commitment did not mediate the effect of competence on the performance of early childhood educators. Organizational commitment did not mediate the effect of job characteristics on the performance of early childhood educators.
