Abstract

The quality of education is the ability of the education system to manage and process education in a quality and effective manner to increase added value in order to produce quality output. The quality of education is a problem that is considered by the Indonesian government. Quality or quality in the field of education includes the quality of input, process, and output or outcome. Input quality is the quality that is seen from various inputs for the learning process to occur, including curriculum, facilities, students and various other things that contribute to the learning process. While the quality of the process is the quality that is seen from the extent to which students feel comfortable with the learning services carried out by teachers with various resources owned by the school. While the quality of the results is the quality of the results of education that are felt especially by students as a real manifestation of the learning process. The low quality of education in Randublatung District can also be seen from the output of the quality of education on student achievement in various competitions. In managing school resources, the principal does not do it transparently and accountably. There are several factors that influence the improvement of education quality, including: (a) Educational objective factors; (b) Educational input factors; (c) Educational management and supervision factors; (d) Educational personnel factors (students, teachers, staff, principals, supervisors); (e) Educational facilities and infrastructure factors (curriculum, facilities, equipment, learning, buildings, workshops, libraries and others); (f) Institutional factors (all parties related to the implementation of education); (g) Science, technology, and art factors learned by students. Using a quantitative and ex post facto correlational research approach, this study involved 207 Dabin II teachers, Randublatung District, Blora Regency, as many as 207 teachers from 26 elementary schools and a sample of 136 teachers was taken. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using validity, reliability, normality, linearity, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity tests. Based on the results of data processing using the SPSS version 22 for Windows program, the highest score was 128, the lowest score was 59, the average (mean) was 95.04; median 96.00; and standard deviation of 18.814. From the table and graph above, it is known that the results of the questionnaire on the professional competence of school principals show that 21 people (15.44%) are in the bad category, 26 people (19.12%) are in the less good category, 31 people (22.79%) are in the fairly good category, 33 people (24.26%) are in the good category, and 25 people (18.38%) are in the very good category. The average (mean) of the principal's professional competence variable data is 95.04. The mean value is in the class interval 87 - 100 so that it is in the "Quite Good" category.

Abstract

Quality education in primary schools faces persistent challenges, particularly regarding the role of academic supervision and pedagogical competencies in learning outcomes. This study aims to examine the individual and combined effects of academic supervision and teachers’ pedagogical competencies on learning quality in Indonesian primary schools. A quantitative survey using ex post facto correlational design was conducted with 110 primary school teachers from 10 schools in Gugus Bawana Ageng, Tembalang District, Semarang City, selected through proportionate random sampling. Data were collected using validated questionnaires and analyzed through descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and multiple regression. Results reveal strong positive correlations between academic supervision and learning quality (r = 0.749) and pedagogical competence and learning quality (r = 0.619). Academic supervision contributed 56.1% to learning quality variance, while pedagogical competence contributed 38.3%. Combined, both variables explained 67.1% of learning quality variance (R2 = 0.671). The study concludes that academic supervision demonstrates stronger predictive power than pedagogical competence in determining learning quality. Implications suggest prioritizing structured supervisory systems and targeted teacher development programs. Future research should explore longitudinal relationships and investigate the remaining unexplained variance through mixed-methods approaches.

Abstract

Indonesian elementary education continues to face persistent challenges in achieving high-quality learning outcomes, particularly amid the ongoing implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum. A critical issue lies in the limited empirical understanding of how teachers’ professional competence and participation in learning communities interact to influence teaching quality. This study aims to examine the effects of professional competence and learning communities on the quality of learning among public elementary school teachers in Ngaliyan District, Semarang City. Using a quantitative explanatory design, data were collected from 188 teachers through validated questionnaires that measured dimensions of professional competence, involvement in learning communities, and indicators of learning quality. Statistical analyses, including simple and multiple linear regression, revealed that both professional competence and learning communities have significant positive effects on learning quality. Learning communities showed a stronger individual contribution (R² = 0.616) compared to professional competence alone (R² = 0.291), and together they explained 65.9% of the variance in learning quality. These findings highlight the importance of not only enhancing individual teacher competencies but also fostering collaborative professional cultures in schools. The study suggests that educational policies and professional development programs should emphasize the establishment of effective learning communities alongside traditional competency-based training. This integrated approach is essential to support the successful implementation of curriculum reforms and improve educational outcomes in Indonesian elementary schools.

Abstract

This study aims to systematically examine how professional teacher competence and collaborative school culture contribute to improving instructional quality in primary education. Utilizing a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach, the study analyzed 40 peer-reviewed journal articles from the Scopus database published between 2020 and 2025. The findings reveal four key dimensions of teacher competence that significantly impact instructional quality: adaptive pedagogy, content mastery and assessment literacy, digital literacy, and reflective professional practice. These dimensions form a cohesive ecosystem that enables teachers to design meaningful, inclusive, and future-oriented learning experiences. Furthermore, the study identifies four essential dimensions of collaborative school culture: shared vision and distributed leadership, engagement in professional learning communities (PLCs), peer-coaching and collaborative planning, and a psychologically safe school climate. These cultural elements create a sustainable environment for collective growth and innovation in teaching practices. The integration of teacher competence and school-level collaboration fosters transformative teaching and positions schools as reflective learning communities. This review provides both conceptual insights and practical implications for policy and professional development programs aimed at enhancing instructional quality. The findings highlight the need for a dual-focus strategy that simultaneously empowers individual teachers and strengthens collaborative structures to ensure sustainable educational transformation

Abstract

Abstract

https://jurnal.usk.ac.id/riwayatThe consumer goods manufacturing sector is projected to remain the main driver of growth in Indonesias manufacturing industry. Although the sectors shares are relatively stable despite economic fluctuations, the companys value often experiences instability, one of which is caused by internal factors. This study examines the effect of managerial share ownership, institutional share ownership, eco-efficiency, and dividend policy on firm value, both partially and simultaneously, in consumer goods manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the period 2022-2024. This research uses an associative quantitative method. The population consists of 125 consumer goods manufacturing companies listed on the IDX during 2022-2024, with 18 companies selected as samples through purposive sampling. Secondary data were obtained from annual finansial reports downloaded from www.idx.co.id. Data analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression, supported by descriptive statistics, classical assumption tests, and hypothesis testing with the help of SPSS version 25. The result show that partially, managerial share ownership has a significant positive effect on firm value. However, institutional share ownership, eco-efficiency, and dividend policy have a positive but not significant effect on firm value. Simultaneously, managerial ownership, institutional ownership, eco-efficiency, and dividend policy have a significant positive effect on firm value. The adjusted R square value of 17,2% indicates the influence of the independent variables on the dependent variable, while the remaining 82,8% is influenced by other.

Abstract

Balinese traditional painting, especially Wayang Kamasan painting, has a long and rich history. However, in the era of globalization and modernization, traditional arts often experience difficulties in surviving. This phenomenon is not unique to Bali, but is happening in traditional art communities around the world. With the advent of digital media, fast-paced urban lifestyles, and changing cultural values, traditional artists often feel pressure to adapt their work to changing market tastes. Some Balinese traditional artists are trying to incorporate modern elements into their work to appeal to the younger generation and the international market, as well as to preserve the culture. Nevertheless, this challenge cannot be ignored and maintain the sustainability of this traditional painting art in the face of increasing modernization trends. This creation discusses the creation of pop art by displaying the form of palelintangan which is poured into several mass cultural products in order to form creative and innovative works. In its creation process, this work follows the principles outlined by Hawkins in his book "Creating Through Dance," which states that creating good painting and dance art involves three main stages: exploration, improvisation, and forming or composition. Palelintangan is a series of paintings that depict astronomical information and provide interpretations of individuals' character and destiny based on their date of birth. By studying palelintangan, one can understand predictions about their personality and fortune. The purpose of creating this is to preserve palelintangan art to remain relevant in the future. The ultimate outcome of this creation process is the production of works inspired by various forms of palelintangan with a touch of modern popular culture embedded within them. Keywords: Birth, Palelintangan, Pop ArtAbstrakSeni lukis tradisional Bali khususnya seni lukis wayang Kamasan mempunyai sejarah yang panjang dan kaya akan makna filosofis seperti cerita Mahabarata, Ramayana, Sutasoma, Tantri, Men Brayut, dan Palelintangan. Kata Kunci: Kelahiran, Palelintangan, Seni Rupa PopAuthors:I Made Sudana : ISI DenpasarI Wayan Setem : ISI DenpasarI Wayan Mudana : ISI Denpasar ReferencesGunada, I. Abstract

Vocational education plays a crucial role in preparing skilled workers amidst the demands of Industry 4.0; however, limited practical facilities often hinder the quality of learning. This study examines the impact of practical facilities on the quality of learning in State Vocational High Schools in Blora Regency, based on data indicating that approximately 38% of facilities in several vocational schools do not meet the standards. This quantitative study, employing an ex post facto approach, involved 196 teachers as respondents. Data were collected using a Likert scale questionnaire and analyzed through descriptive statistics, prerequisite tests, and simple and multiple linear regression analysis with the help of SPSS 29.0. The study’s results showed that practical facilities had a positive and significant impact on learning quality, with a Pearson correlation coefficient of 0.926 (robust) and a determination coefficient (R²) of 0.857, indicating that practical facilities explained 85.7% of the variance in learning quality. This study suggests that improving practical facilities can significantly enhance the quality of learning. Educational institutions are expected to provide adequate practical facilities, enabling them to create a more effective learning environment and support the improvement of student competence in relevant fields.
