Abstract

Marketing Strategy in an educational institution is a renewal step that must be done when there are tight rivals in getting customers. Educational marketing can be done to provide information to the public about school products, increase public interest and interest in school products and distinguish school products from other school products. The purpose of this study is to find out the marketing strategy carried out at SMAN 4 Tanjung Jabung Timur, want to implement the marketing strategy at SMAN 4 Tanjung Jabung Timur and want to know the inhibiting factors. Based on this research, this study aims to find out educational Marketing Strategy in an educational institution is a renewal step that must be done when there are tight rivals in getting customers. Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk membantu pelaku Usaha Mikro Kelas dan Menengah (UMKM) produksi rumahan kerupuk jangek dengan memanfaatkan kulit sapi peternakan di Dusun Sumber Mulya Unit 5, Pelepat Ilir, Kabupaten Bungo. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan cara memberikan sosialisasi dan bimbingan kepada pelaku UMKM Dusun Sumber Mulya. Tujuannya adalah agar pelaku usaha memahami cara mengolah serta pemasaran kerupuk jangek. Hasil yang diperoleh ialah pelaku usaha bisa memahami bagaimana cara mengolah dan pemasaran kerupuk jangek dengan baik. Dalam proses pembuatan kerupuk jangek yang peserta Kuliah Kerja Nyata Gelombang 1 Posko 70 menggunakan kulit sapi, karena Dusun Sumber Mulya Unit 5 Pelepat Ilir Kabupaten Bungo banyak peternak sapi, jadi sangat disayangkan jika hasilnya tidak diolah semaksimal mungkin. Beberapa ihal iyang iharus idiperhatikan idalam imengolah idan imengkonsumsi ikerupuk ijangek, antara ilain ikandungan igizi idan ibahan ibaku serta bahan itambahan ilainnya. Sehingga proses produksi bebas dari bahan pengawet dan bisa di konsumsi untu berbagai usia.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) determine the types of medicinal plants used in Teluk Kayu Putih village, (2) describe the development of the herbarium book media for medicinal plants lecture,   (3) determine the validity and (4) the readability test of the herbarium book of medicinal plants as a learning media. The ADDIE development model research consists of 2 stages of research. The first stage of qualitative research is to obtain data on the types of medicinal plants in Teluk Kayu Putih Village. The second stage of media development is making a herbarium book. Field data collection methods include observation and documentation (first stage) and questionnaire (second stage). The results obtained are: (1) The types of plants used as medicine in Teluk Kayu Putih Village are 27 species grouped into 25 families; the most plant species came from Family Euphorbiaceae, Myrtaceae, and Zingiberaceae, each with 2 species, (2) The media developed are specimens of medicinal plants originating from Teluk Kayu Putih village, including plant parts that have been dried using a pressing technique, arranged in a scrapbook with a black base color derived from black cardboard, the spesimens are pasted one by one and then identified, as well as put together and bound in a spiral to form a book, (3) The validity test from material experts and media experts on the media produced obtained a score of 81,35% and 85,26%, while the validity test score obtained a score of 86,31% (very feasible), (4) The readability test of the herbarium book by 23 respondents obtained an average percentage score of 92,6%, means that the media is suitable to use.

Abstract

This research study how the Malay and Javanese tribes in Bukit Peranginan Village, Mandiangin District, and Sarolangun Regency use medicinal plants. The purpose to identify the various types of medicinal plants, how to use them, and their cultural significance. This study used a qualitative descriptive methodology, and the value of the Cultural of Significance Index (ICS) was derived for the quantitative data analysis. The results showed that there were 25 families and 37 plant species overall, with Zingiberaceae being the largest family. For the Malays and the Javanese, up to 8 species of plants and 21 different types of plants, respectively, have leaves that are frequently used as medicine. Boiling up to 21 different plant species is the primary method of using plants as medication. The importance of preserving the cultural properties of plants used by the Malay and Javanese tribes in Bukit Peranginan Village as traditional medicines, particularly Curcuma longa L, which has values of 171 and is used as a treatment for ulcers, cholesterol, colds, vaginal discharge, diabetes, wound medicine, abdominal pain, and postpartum pain.

Abstract

Pemberian tugas dan pekerjaan rumah kepada siswa adalah salah satu metode guru dalam proses pembelajaran di Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri 1 Tanjung Jabung Timur. Tugas dan pekerjaan rumah tersebut diberikan agar siswa belajar secara mandiri. Tetapi tugas yang diberikan hanya sekedar tugas, tidak ada tuntutan dari guru agar siswa dapat mempertanggung jawabkan tugas yang dikerjakannya. Hal ini menyebabkan siswa tidak termotivasi untuk memahami materi yang terkandung dalam tugas tersebut sehingga mempengaruhi hasil belajar. Untuk itu perlu adanya suatu metode pembelajaran yang dapat mengatasi permasalahan tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh metode resitasi terhadap hasil belajar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif yang bersifat eksperimen semu dengan desain Postest Only Control Design. Dengan teknik pengambilan sampel secara undian, dan didapat kelas XI IPA 2 (eksperimen) dan kelas XI IPA 3 (kontrol). Dari analisis data uji tes “t” didapat hasil taraf signifikansi ttabel 5% = 1,996, t0 =3,05 didapat hasil thitung ≥ ttabel yang berarti bahwa adanya selisih signifikansi mean. Pada uji Effect Size untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode resitasi terhadap hasil belajar didapat hasil dengan persentasi 76% dalam kategori berpengaruh sedang. Dan hasil dari perhitungan korelasi phi dengan taraf signifikansi 5% = 0,223 didapat hasil rhitung ≥ rtabel 0,265 ≥ 0,223 artinya Ha diterima. Dari analisis data di atas dapat disimpulkan bahwa terbukti terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara penggunaan metode resitasi terhadap hasil belajar biologi.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the PQ4R Learning strategy (Preview, Question, Read, Reflect, Recite, Review) on the learning outcomes of Integrated Science in Islamic Education in Biology learning. This research is a quasi-experimental study using the Posttest-Only Control Design design while data collection is done using a test instrument. The sample of the study was class VIII C (experimental class) totaling 28 students and class VIII D (control class) totaling 28 students. The research data obtained the highest score in the experimental class was 92 and the lowest score was 44 with an average of 72, while in the control class the highest score was 80 and the lowest score was 40 with an average of 63.57. Based on the calculation using the t test obtained thitung = 2.77 and at a significant level of 5% obtained ttable = 2.01 and a significance level of 1% t table = 2.68 thus 2.01 <2.77> 2.68. So that Ha is accepted, meaning that there is a significant influence on the results of Integrated Science learning of students who use the PQ4R learning strategy (Preview, Question, Read, Reflect, Recite, Review) in the Madrasah Tsanawiyah. Tujuan Penelitian ini adaah untuk mengetahui pengaruh strategi Pembelajaran PQ4R (Preview, Question, Read, Reflect, Recite, Review) terhadap hasil belajar IPA Terpadu di Madrasah Tsanawiyah pada pembelajaran Biologi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi eksperimen dengan menggunakan desain Posttest-Only Control Design sedangkan pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan instrumen tes. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII C (kelas eksperimen) berjumlah 28 orang siswa dan siswa kelas VIII D (kelas kontrol) berjumlah 28 orang siswa. Data hasil penelitian di peroleh skor tertinggi di kelas eksperimen adalah 92 dan skor terendah 44 dengan rata-rata 72, sedangkan pada kelas kontrol diperoleh skor tertinggi 80 dan skor terendah 40 dengan rata-rata 63,57. Berdasarkan perhitungan menggunakan uji t diperoleh thitung= 2,77 dan pada taraf signifikan 5% diperoleh ttabel = 2,01 dan taraf signifikansi 1% ttabel= 2,68 dengan demikian Sehingga Ha diterima, artinya bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap hasil belajar IPA Terpadu siswa yang menggunakan strategi pembelajaran PQ4R (Preview, Question, Read, Reflect, Recite, Review) di Madrasah Tsanawiyah. Abstract

This study aims to produce PBL based assessment instruments (problem based learning) that are made to measure learning process for educators, in this case, the researcher will focus on the discussion about attitude. This research is an instrument development research adapted from ADDIE model, this model there are 5 stages: analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. Data collection and data analysis using different questionnaires and given to expert / expert teams and users of assessment instruments. To find out the feasibility of the instrument, the questionnaire was given to 3 expert teams / experts and got the score category 88%, then the score result on the assessment instrument is "Eligible" is used, instruments are also strengthened by small group and field trials. To find out the effectiveness and practicality of the disseminated instrument to several schools (implementation) of the instrument, the effectiveness questionnaire was given to 3 principals / users and obtained the score category 88%, then the scores result of the assessment instrument is "very Effective". In order to know the practicality of the instrument, the questionnaire of practicality was given to 3 principals / users and obtained the score category of 88%, then the scores result of the assessment instrument is "Very Practical". Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan instrumen asesmen berbasis PBL (problem based learning) yang dibuat untuk mengukur proses pembelajaran bagi pendidik, dalam hal ini, peneliti akan memfokuskan pada pembahasan tentang sikap. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan instrumen yang diadaptasi dari model ADDIE, model ini terdapat 5 tahap yaitu: analysis, design, development, implementation dan evaluation. Pengumpulan data dan analisis data menggunakan angket yang berbeda dan diberikan kepada tim ahli/pakar dan pengguna instrumen asesmen. Untuk mengetahui kelayakan instrumen, angket diberikan ke 3 tim ahli/pakar dan didapatkan kategori skor 88%, maka hasil skor terhadap instrumen asesmen ini adalah “Layak” digunakan, kelayakan instrumen diperkuat juga dengan adanya uji coba kelompok kecil dan lapangan. Untuk mengetahui keefektifan dan kepraktisan instrumen disebar kebeberapa sekolah (implementasi), angket efektifitas diberikan ke 3 kepala sekolah/pengguna dan didapatkan kategori skor 88%, maka hasil skor terhadap instrumen asesmen ini adalah “Sangat Efektif”. Untuk mengetahui kepraktisan instrumen, angket praktikalitas diberikan ke 3 kepala sekolah/pengguna dan didapatkan kategori skor 88%, maka hasil skor tersebut diperoleh bahwa penilaian oleh kepala sekolah terhadap instrumen asesmen ini adalah “Sangat Praktis”.

Abstract

Activities are very important principles in learning process. The teaching objectives of course will be achieved if students actively try to achieve them. Student activity in the learning process causes high interaction between teachers and students. The objective of this study is to understand the effect of the think talk write cooperative learning  model  on  students activities in biology  learning  in SMA Negeri 2 Batanghari. This research is a quantitative study using true experimental-posttest only control design. The data collection instruments are observation sheets and documentation. Based on data analysis, it was obtained that the average of students learning activities from 3 meetings in the experiment class was 64.16%, the category active. While the average of student learning activities from 3 meetings in the control class was 37.70%, the category less active. Based on the calculation of the hypothesis test using the t-test, it was found that students learning activities obtained a value of t0 ≥ tt, namely 2.03 <4.31> 2.71, and the effect size of the treatment given was 1.43 with a percentage of 91.9% . It can be concluded that there is a significant influence on the use of the think talk write cooperative learning model on students activities in biology learning in SMA Negeri 2 Batanghari. Abstrak. Aktivitas merupakan prinsip atau asas yang sangat penting dalam pembelajaran. Aktivitas siswa dalam proses pembelajaran menyebabkan  interaksi yang  tinggi  antara  guru  dan  siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif think talk write terhadap aktivitas belajar biologi siswa SMA Negeri 2 Batanghari. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan desain true experimental-posttest only control design. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan analisis data diperoleh rata-rata aktivitas belajar siswa pada kelas eksperimen dari 3 kali pertemuan adalah 64,16% dengan kategori aktif. Sedangkan rata-rata aktivitas belajar siswa pada kelas kontrol dari 3 kali pertemuan adalah 37,70% dengan kategori kurang aktif. Berdasarkan perhitungan uji hipotesis menggunakan uji t, didapatkan bahwa aktivitas belajar siswa diperoleh nilai t0  ≥ tt  yaitu 2,03 < 4,31 > 2,71, dan besar effect size perlakuan yang diberikan adalah 1,43 dengan persentase 91,9%. Hal tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dalam penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif think talk write terhadap aktivitas belajar biologi siswa SMA Negeri 2 Batanghari.

Abstract

Based on the results of the pre-research conducted at SMA Negeri 11 Muaro Jambi, it is known that biology learning activities have not been active,  the tendency of students to receive information from educators. The formulation of the problem of this research is whether there is an effect of Experiential Learning model on the critical thinking skills at of students SMA Negeri 11 Muaro Jambi. The purpose of this research is to find out the effect of the Experiential Learning Model on the Critical Thinking Skills of the students At SMA Negeri 11 Muaro Jambi. This research method is a quantitative research using Postest-Only Control Design, while data collection is with the final technique (Post-test). Data analysis with ttest. The sampling technique used is Simple Random Sampling with a sample of 20 students in the experimental class and 20 students in the control class. Data were analyzed using normality test, homogen test, and hypothesis testing through SPPS Version 26. The data obtained is then analyzed by comparing the average value of critical thinking skills in the control class with the experimental class, the avarage value for critical thinking skills using the experiential learning model is higher, which is 85.00, while the control class is 74,10. From the test at a significant level of 5% = 1,638 and 1% = 2.353 obtained 1,638 < 2.447 > 2,353 so tcount > ttabel or Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted with the result of sig (2-tailed) is 0.000 < 5% which means there is a significant different between ability critical thingking of student who use the Experiential Learning (EL) learning model and those who do not use the Experiential Learning (EL) learning model at SMA Negeri 11 Muaro Jambi. Abstrak. Berdasarkan hasil pra penelitian yang dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 11 Muaro Jambi diketahui bahwa kegiatan pembelajaran biologi belum aktif, kecenderungan peserta didik menerima informasi dari pendidik, peserta didik belum mampu memberikan penjelasan sederhana. sehingga kemampuan berpikir kritis masih tergolong rendah. Salah satu model pembelajaran yang cukup bervariasi dan tentunya dapat melibatkan peran aktif siswa dalam kegiatan pembelajaran adalah model pembelajaran Experiential Learning. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Experiential Learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik di SMA Negeri 11 Muaro Jambi. Metode penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan desain Posttest Control Group Design sedangkan pengumpulan data dengan teknik tes akhir (Pos test). Analisis data dengan ttes. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan Simple Random Sampling dengan sampel berjumlah 20 peserta didik di kelas eksperimen dan 20 peserta didik di kelas kontrol. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji hipotesis melalui SPPS Versi 26. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis dengan membandingkan rata-rata perolehan nilai kemampuan berpikir kritis kelas kontrol dengan kelas eksperimen, nilai rata-rata kemampuan berpikir kritis yang menggunakan model pembelajaran Experiential Learning lebih tinggi, yaitu sebesar 85.00, sedangkan kelas kontrol sebesar 74,10. Dari uji ttes pada taraf signifikan 5% = 1,638 dan 1% = 2,353 diperoleh 1,638 < 2,447 > 2,353 jadi thitung > ttabel atau HO ditolak dan Ha diterima dengan hasil sig (2-tailed) adalah 0,000 < 5 % yang berarti terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik yang menggunakan model pembelajaran Experiential Learning (EL) dengan yang tidak menggunakan model pembelajaran Experiental Learning (EL) di SMA Negeri 11 Muaro Jambi

Abstract

Technology, especially Geographic Information System (GIS) technology, can make it easier and faster for users to check data through online mapping as a whole. GIS will display the places on the earth's surface, one of which is the location of the mosque. Due to the large number of mosques in Jambi Province and the lack of accurate and comprehensive mosque information, it is still difficult for the Indonesian Mosque Council (DMI) to find and supervise all mosque activities. Therefore, researchers created a Mosque Geographic Information System to help collect mosque data, search for mosque locations, and integrate mosque data. The system development method used is the SDLC method with the waterfall model, with the PHP programming language and MySQL database. The results obtained from the GIS website for this mosque are capable of displaying a geographic information system that displays mosque information, so that it can assist in searching for mosque information and data quickly and accurately.
