Abstract

Lansia mengalami kemunduran terutama di bidang perubahan fisik sehinggga mudah mengalami peningkatan tekanan darah. Pencegahan peningkatan tekanan darah pada lansia dengan melakukan gaya hidup sehat, menjaga pola makan dan menurunkan stres. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui hubungan faktor gaya hidup, pola makan dan stres terhadap tekanan darah pada lansia dengan hipertensi di Desa Landungsari, Kecamatan Dau, Kabupaten Malang. Teknik penelitian mengunakan desain korelasi dengan menggunakan pendekatan cross sectional. Sampel penelitian ini sebanyak 36 orang lansia dengan hipertensi dengan penentuan menggunakan random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen berupa kuesioner. Metode analisa data yang di gunakan yaitu uji Mann-whitney Test dengan menggunakan SPSS. Hasil penelitian membuktikan hampir setengahnya (44,4%) responden melakukan gaya hidup kurang, sebagian besar (52,8%) responden melakukan pola makan kurang sehat, sebagian besar (55,6%) responden memiliki tingkat stres ringan dan seluruhnya (100%) responden memiliki tekanan darah hipertensi stadium 1. Hasil uji Mann Whitney menunjukkan nilai p yang diperoleh untuk gaya hidup adalah 0,592, pola makan adalah 0,202, tingkat stres adalah 0,167. Nilai p yang didapat semuanya lebih besar dari 0,05 yang berarti gaya hidup, pola makan dan tingkat stres tidak ada hubungannya dengan hipertensi yang dialami oleh lansia. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian maka lansia perlu melakukan gaya hidup sehat mulai dari melakukan pemeriksaan tekanan darah dan melakukan pola makan sehat seperti tidak mengkonsumsi makanan asin, instan dan berlemak secara berlebihan. ABSTRACT The Elderly undergo setback especially in the field of physical changes thus easily have elevated blood pressure. Prevention of an increase in blood pressure in the elderly by making a healthy lifestyle, keeping to the eating patterns and lowering stress. The purpose of the Research to find out the relationship of factor in lifestyle, the eating patterns and stress against the blood pressure in the elderly with hypertension in the village of Landungsari, subdistrict of Dau, Regency of Malang. The Research techniques using to design of correlation with the approach of cross sectional. The sample of this research as much as 36 the elderly with hypertension and the determination of the using random sampling. The Data collection techniques using instruments in the form of a questionnaire. The Data analysis methods used namely mann witney test by using SPSS. The research results prove almost half (44.4%) of respondents do less lifestyle, most (52.8%) of respondents do less healthy eating patterns, the large majority (55.6%) of respondents have a mild stress level and entirely (100%) the respondents have blood pressure hypertension stage 1. Mann Whitney test results showed that the P-value obtained for the lifestyle is 0.592, eating patterns is 0.202, stress levels is 0.167. The p-value obtained is all greater than 0.05 which means that lifestyle, eating patterns and stress levels have nothing to do with hypertension experienced by the elderly. Based on the research results then the elderly need to do a healthy lifestyle starts from checks the blood pressure, doing of the healthy eating patterns and do not consume foods like salty, fatty and instant in the overload. Abstract

Tulisan ini memiliki masalah pertama tentang Komodifikasi Pemenuhan Jalan Hadat pada Perkawinan Suku Dayak Ngaju dan kedua Dampak Komodifikasi Pemenuhan Jalan Hadat pada Perkawinan Suku Dayak Ngaju pada Generasi penerus, dengan mengunakan teori yang dikemukakan oleh Piliang tentang komodifikasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa komodifikasi yang terjadi pada pemenuhan Jalan Hadat pada Perkawinan suku Dayak Ngaju dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor seperti faktor masyarakat pendukung, faktor ekonomi dan faktor budaya dari ketiga faktor ini, dilakukan oleh pihak-pihak masyarakat dianggap kurang tepat, karena akan menimbulkan dampak negatif yang signifikan pada kehidupan generasi selanjutnya, walaupun juga terdapat dampak positif terhadap peningkatan ekonomi masyarakat yang bekerja dibidang penindustrian. Dampak negatif ini secara tidak sadar kita telah memutus tali pengetahuan generasi kedepan untuk mengetahui nilai-nilai luhur yang ada dalam simbol pemenuhan Jalan Hadat pada perkawinan suku Dayak ngaju. Yang sepatutnya dijunjung tinggi karena menyimpan nilai budaya yang luhur yang patut dilestarikan bahkan dikenal dikalangan luar. Sehingga dalam hal ini masyarakat harus sadar dan kuat untuk selalu berjalan dengan tradisi, budaya yang sejak dulu sudah ada hingga nilai dan unsur sejarah yang asli tetap menjadi terpelihara.

Abstract

The development of religious harmony is a tool to unite the nation in pluralist and pluralistic social conditions. The outline of the population of Palangka Raya City consists of various ethnicities, religions, races, between groups living side by side in an area in harmony and participating in upholding tolerance between people. The importance of maintaining harmony in a pluralistic society so that every element of society needs to play an active role in managing and realizing peaceful, harmonious and harmonious living conditions. The existence of Hindu Kaharingan adherents in Palangka Raya City, takes part in maintaining religious harmony in Palangka Raya City as a form of responsiveness in facing critical problems of a pluralistic society. Conflicts that arise due to societal differentiation can occur at any time. Therefore, the implementation of harmony in life by practicing the trilogy of religious harmony is a strategy carried out in order to create a sense of unity in the people of Palangka Raya City, which is increasingly dynamic with the times.

Abstract

AbstrakKaries merupakan masalah utama di rongga mulut anak. Kerusakan gigi sulung lebih cepat menyebar, meluas dan lebih parah dari pada gigi permanen. Karies lebih banyak ditemukan pada orang dengan status sosial ekonomi rendah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan status sosial ekonomi dengan kejadian karies pada gigi sulung anak usia 4 dan 5 tahun pada murid TK Adzkia II, TK Lillah, dan TK Mutiara Ananda di Kota Padang.Penelitian ini bersifat observasi analitik menggunakan metode cross sectional. Populasi penelitian ini adalah murid TK Adzkia II, TK Lillah, dan TK Mutiara Ananda yang berumur 4-5 tahun atau murid lokal A yang berjumlah sebanyak 59 orang, sampel yang diteliti 57 orang. Metode pengambilan data primer yaitu dengan melakukan wawancara dengan orang tua dan pemeriksaan status karies responden.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan status sosial ekonomi orang tua dari responden 75,4% tidak miskin dan status karies responden 50,9% baik. Dari responden yang tidak miskin, 46,5% memiliki status karies yang buruk, 53,5% memiliki status karies yang baik. Hasil uji statistik diperoleh tidak ada hubungan yang bermakna dari proporsi status karies responden dengan pendapatan orang tua responden.Dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa responden dengan status sosial ekonomi tidak miskin dan status karies baik lebih dominan. Disarankan kepada sekolah agar memberikan pengetahuan tentang kesehatan gigi dan mulut secara rutin kepada murid – murid dan bagi orang tua lebih memperhatikan jajanan yang dikonsumsi oleh anaknya.Kata Kunci : karies, status sosial ekonomiAbstractCaries is a major issue in the oral cavity of children. Damage spreading deciduous teeth faster, more widespread and severe than in permanent teeth. Caries are more common in people with low socioeconomic status. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of socioeconomic parents status with the incidence of caries in primary teeth of kindergarten students age 4 and 5 years in Adzkia II, Lillah, and Mutiara Ananda in Padang.ARTIKEL PENELITIAN97This observational study using cross sectional analytic. The study population was kindergarten students aged 4-5 years Adzkia II, Lillah, and Mutiara Ananda or A local student who numbered as many as 59 people, the studied sample of 57 people. Primary data collection method is to conduct interviews with parents and the examination of dental caries status of respondents.Research shows parental socioeconomic status of respondents 75.4% were not poor and caries status of respondents 50.9% good. Of the respondents who are not poor, 46.5% had caries status poor, 53.5% had a good caries status. The results of statistical tests obtained no significant association of the proportion of caries status of respondents with incomes of respondents.From this study it can be concluded that the respondents with the non-poor socio-economic status and caries status either more dominant. Recommended to the schools to provide knowledge about oral health on a regular basis to students - for students and parents pay more attention to snacks consumed by children.Key word : caries, socioeconomic status.

Abstract

Soft drink with low pH (5,5) causes tooth erosion. Erosion may result in a decrease in surface hardness of tooth enamel. This research will be used a solution of palm juice and solution of fluoride to increase the surface hardness of tooth enamel. The purpose of this study was to evaluate effect of using a solution of palm juice 100%, 75%, 50%, 25% and APF 1,23% to the surface hardness of tooth enamel. The methode used in this research is the experimental laboratory and were tested for their hardness using Vicker Hardness Tester.Measurement performed three times, initial hardness, after all specimens was soaked in soft drink for 25 hours and were then applied with 100%, 75%, 50%, 25% solution of palm juice dan APF 1,23%. Data was analyzed by using SPSS with Repeated ANOVA.The result showed that a significant decrease in tooth enamel hardness on immersion in carbonated soft drink (p<0,05) and increased hardness of surface enamel after application with 100% solution of palm juice with a mean increase of microhardness 42,91VHN, 38,46 VHN with 75% solution of palm juice, 35,836 VHN with 50% solution of palm juice,29,41 VHN with 25% solution of palm juice dan 23,94 VHN in APF 1,23%.The result of this study is there is no significant difference enamel hardness after applied with 100%, 75%, 50%, 25% solution of palm juice and APF 1,23%.

Abstract

Mouthwash is a product used to maintain oral hygiene. Most of mouthwash contains alcohol with concentration > 0 ≤ 27% which is used as solvent, preservative, flavour carrier and as an antibacterial. The effect of using mouthwash containing alcohol is that alcohol as drying agent, decreases in salivary flow, produced metabolites acetaldehyde and causes degeneration of nerve endings that can decrease the sensitivity of tasting. This study aimed to determine the differences of salty tasting due to using mouthwash containing 27% alcohol in 15 days. This research used a pretest and posttest group. The first group used mouthwash containing 27% alcohol and the second group used non-alcohol mouthwash. The first step, NaCl solution was dropped on the surface of the right lateral part of the anterior tongue from low to high concentration until the sample could taste the salty taste. Sample used mouthwash in 15 days according to the direction of usage on the bottles of mouthwash. The last step, NaCl solution was dropped on the surface of the right lateral part of the anterior tongue from low to high concentration until the sample could taste the salty taste. Data analysis using Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test and Mann-Whitney test. The results showed significant differences between the two groups (p = 0.001). Salty taste sensitivity because of the usage 27% alcohol-containing mouthwash was lower than non-alcohol mouthwash. The conclusion is there will be decreasing of salty taste sensitivity because of the usage 27% alcohol-containing mouthwash in 15 days.

Abstract

The prevalence of caries in Indonesia has increased by 53.53% from 2013 to 2018. Low salivary pH (potential of Hydrogen) is one of the main causes of dental caries. Acid as metabolic product of oral microorganism can decrease the salivary pH. The purpose of this paper is to determine the effect of gargling with green and black tea solutions on salivary pH. The increasing of salivary pH linear to salivary secretion. Gargling with green tea or black tea is one of the ways that can increase salivary secretion and pH by provides a mechanical and chemical stimulus to the oral cavity. Green tea and black tea contain polyphenols (catechins) which can increase salivary pH. Conclusion is gargling with green tea and black tea solutions can add salivary pH. Gargling with green tea is more effective to increase salivary pH than black tea. Green tea has a higher catechins content than black tea, in order to anti-cariogenic and anti-bacterial properties are more common in green tea.

Abstract

Dental caries is one of the most common problem that can be found in both adults and children. Dental caries in primary teeth on children aged 0-71 months is known as Early Childhood Caries (ECC). Reports by Global Burden of Disease Study 2015 caries on primary teeth ranks 12th which affects as many as 560 million children worldwide. There are many predisposition factors that cause ECC, which are closely related to food consumption such as food snacking.The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between food snacking consumption and Early Childhood Caries on children aged 2-5 years old in Padang. This study used a cross sectional design, with total sampel of 107 children aged 2-5 years in Padang. The location was selected through Stratified Random Sampling Method and samples was selected through Consecutive Sampling Method. Data was collected by using food frequency questionares and intra-oral examination that were analyzed by Chi-Square test with p<0.05. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between food snacking and ECC (p=0.000). The conclution of this study was that food snacking consumption is associated with Early Childhood Caries on children aged 2-5 years in Padang.

Abstract

Dental caries is a disease of hard tissue of the tooth due to bacterial activities that cause loss mineral structure of the tooth. Dental caries that occur in deciduous teeth on children under 71 months is called Early Childhood Caries (ECC). Dental caries is still one of the most common dental and oral health problem experienced by children in the world. Some surveys in Cambodia and Indonesia show that a high prevalence and severity of ECC which was 90% in children aged 3-5 years. Oral hygiene habits were identified as one of the risk factors of caries. Some studies suggest that there is a strong relationship between the behavior of maintaining oral hygiene and the prevalence of dental caries. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between oral hygiene habits and early childhood caries on toddler in Padang. This study used cross sectional design. The samples of this study was 107 childrens aged 3-5 years in Padang. The location was selected through stratified random sampling technique and samples was selected through consecutive sampling techniques. Data was collected in Gunung Pangilun village and Piai Tanah Sirah village. Data was collected using a questionaires and intraoral examination. Data was analyzed by Chi-Square with p<0,05. The result of this study that there was a significant relationship between oral hygiene habits and ECC on toddler in Padang (p=0,008). The conclusion of this study was that oral hygiene habits is associated with early childhood caries on toddler in Padang.

Abstract

Management of land potential in an area requires technological innovation to produce good quality. Proper land management and processing can improve the product and standard of living of the local community. Chili commodity is a very strategic commodity, where the development of this commodity will never experience a decline and even tends to continue to be increased, due to the high level of demand and consumption. Seeing this, it is very necessary to carry out activities with the background of activities, namely 1) The local community does not realize that their area has the potential for the development of various chilies, and 2) There is still limited public knowledge regarding the use of land suitability management, cultivation technology, and post-harvest technology of various chilies. The purpose of this activity is to build community capacity by developing and utilizing the potential of both natural and human resources in order to improve the community's standard of living. The method used in the Birayang Batang Alai Selatan Village is to carry out 1) Site Surveys and Community Identification, 2) Socialization of Activity Programs, 3) Extension and Training, 4) Mentoring and Continuous Guidance. The technique used in chili cultivation is MPHP (black silver plastic mulch). Community empowerment in addition to the implementation of cultivation for women through diversification of chili-based food. The result of this activity is the achievement of maximum chili production, due to suitable land supported by appropriate technology. This technology is expected to be followed by other communities and is sustainable and more optimal which is expected to improve the welfare of the community.
