Abstract

This research was intended to produce flipped classroom learning tools on impulse and momentum materials to help overcome insufficient time to get all students to understand the material well, and to know the validation of products by experts and practitioners and to seek out the attractiveness, convenience, and usefulness of the tools. The development model used in this research was the ADDIE model consisting of five phases: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation, which were restricted to the development phase. In the analysis phase, it was done by doing requirement analysis by giving questionnaires to students and interviewing to a teacher in Metro 1 Public HighSchool. At the design phase, it was done by producing learning tools that include syllabus, lesson plans, lessons video, student’s worksheet for video’s companion, and student’s worksheet for classroom learning. At the development phase, it was done by testing the product. The result obtained from the expert validation test was 3.58 of the average product score with the qualification is very valid, the practitioners validation test result was 3.66 of the average score with qualification is very valid, and the result of the 1-1 test is 3.47 of the attractiveness average scores, 3.32 of the convenience average scores, and 3.70 of the usefulness average scores, with qualifications are very attractive, very convenient, and very useful. The conclusion from the results of this development research is the flipped classroom learning tools for impulse and momentum materials are worthy to betested in learning physics.Keywords: ADDIE, Development, Impulse and Momentum, Learning Tools.

Abstract

Salah satu permasalahan pada pembelajaran fisika yang dihadapi oleh guru adalah hasil belajar peserta didik yang rendah. Rendahnya hasil belajar peserta didik dapat disebabkan oleh peserta didik mengangap pembelajaran fisika cenderung sulit, sehingga dapat menyebabkan kecemasan kognitif peserta didik tinggi pada tugas belajar fisika. Hasil belajar yang rendah dan kecemasan kognitif yang tinggi dapat mengalami perubahan yang signifikan, jika menerapkan pendekatan pembelajaran yang tepat bagi peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan peningkatan hasil belajar dan penurunan kecemasan kognitif dengan menerapkan pendekatan STEM dan saintifik berbasis pembelajaran inquiry pada materi Hukum Newton. Desain penelitian yang digunakan  quasi-experimental dengan jenis non-equivalent control group design. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes dan skala kecemasan kognitif. Data tersebut dianalisis menggunakan N-Gain dan Independent Sample T-Test atau Mann Whitney. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan peningkatan hasil belajar dan penurunan kecemasan kognitif antara implementasi pendekatan STEM dan saintifik berbasis pembelajaran inquiry dengan nilai Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,001 untuk hasil belajar dan 0,029 untuk kecemasan kognitif. Berdasarkan data N-Gain tersebut, peserta didik yang menerapkan pendekatan STEM dalam pembelajaran hukum Newton memperoleh peningkatan hasil belajar dan penurunan kecemasan kognitif yang lebih tinggi daripada peserta didik yang menerapkan pendekatan saintifik.

Abstract

Based on observations made to physics teachers and students at the Junior High School (SMP) 7 Bandar Lampung and SMP PGRI I BumiAgung, it is known that the physics learning process undertaken by teachers often does not teach physics applications in students’ lives. In addition, print-based learning media at this time are also verbalistic and have not been able to link physics with life around students. The learning process and the lack of media that can link theory and application in student life make students feel bored studying physics. Physics learning comics are media that are able to link the concepts of physics with life around students. This condition is the background of conducting research, developing physics learning comics as supplement media which are thought to be interesting and effective for students. This research is a research and development (R&D) of comics for based on graphic design that aims to describe the characteristics of Physics Learning Comics. Research and development of comics for physics learning is carried out by following procedures (1) needs analysis, (2) making goals, (3) determining the subject matter, (4) synopsis writing (5) initial script writing, (6) prototype production, (7) evaluation, (8) revision, (9) final script writing, (10) trials and (11) final comics. The results of tests with operational tests show that 84.21% of students can pass the KKM SMP N 7 Bandar Lampung and the results of the attractiveness test taken from a questionnaire score of 3.51 indicate that this comic of physics learning is effective and very interesting to learn. Abstract

Kegiatan pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk: (1) Meningkatkan kemampuan guru kelompok mata pelajaran adaptif dan produktif SMK se-Bandarlampung dalam mengimplementasikan standar penilaian Kurikulum 2013 revisi, dan (2) Meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan guru kelompok mata pelajaran adaptif dan produktif SMK se-Bandarlampung dalam mengimplementasikan standar penilaian Kurikulum 2013 revisi. Pelatihan ini dilaksanakan pada hari Kamis tanggal 11 Oktober 2018. Sasaran kegiatan pelatihan ini adalah 34 orang guru kelompok mata pelajaran adaptif dan produktif SMK yang tergabung dalam Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran (MGMP) SMK se-Bandarlampung. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah ceramah, diskusi, tanya jawab, workshop, dan pelatihan dengan menerapkan strategi kontekstual, mengaitkan teori dengan praktik yang disampaikan dengan metode praktik terbimbing, yaitu sistem pengajaran yang berorientasi pada pemecahan masalah yang dihadapi sebagian besar guru kelompok mata pelajaran adaptif dan produktif SMK se-Bandarlampung. Berdasarkan hasil pretest, posttest, dan survei kepuasan peserta, maka dapat diketahui bahwa tujuan pelatihan ini dapat tercapai. Hal ini terlihat dari adanya peningkatan jumlah peserta yang mengalami peningkatan dari pretest ke posttest, yaitu sebanyak 100% tidak ada nilai posttest di bawah 60. Abstract

Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) education has recently become the most trending issue in the world of education. STEM education is considered to be able to overcome real problems that occur in society. Integrating Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics into the learning and teaching process is inevitable in this modern world, so all teachers need to master Technology Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) with confidence. Unfortunately, the approach to teacher education programs in many countries, particularly in Indonesia, has not yet integrated TPACK into the curriculum. To improve the quality of in-service teacher teaching competencies, the TPACK framework can be used as a reference and adoption in learning. Therefore, an international workshop on STEM education was held: integrating science, technology, society, and the environment for the development of TPACK activities for in-service teachers. The result of this workshop is an increase in inservice physics teacher TPACK (as a participant) in integrating science, technology, society, and the environment. STEM education can be done by conducting a kind of workshop that explains clearly and provides experience for all participants. In addition, it can be seen that the supporting and inhibiting factors for the implementation of the inservice physics teacher workshop in integrating science, technology, society, and the environment in STEM education with respect are knowledge and technology and the inhibiting factor is that in-service teachers do not have enough time to carry it out, especially during the pandemic covid-19.Keywords: inservice physics teacher; STEM; TPACK AbstrakPendidikan Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics  (STEM) akhir-akhir ini menjadi isu yang paling trending di dunia pendidikan. Pendidikan STEM dinilai mampu mengatasi permasalahan nyata yang terjadi di masyarakat. Mengintegrasikan Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics  ke dalam proses pembelajaran dan pengajaran tidak dapat dihindari di dunia modern ini, sehingga sangat penting bagi semua guru untuk menguasai Pengetahuan Konten Pedagogis Teknologi (TPACK) dengan percaya diri. Sayangnya, pendekatan terhadap program pendidikan guru di banyak negara, khususnya di Indonesia, belum mengintegrasikan TPACK ke dalam kurikulum. Untuk meningkatkan kualitas kompetensi mengajar inservice teacher, kerangka TPACK dapat menjadi acuan dan adopsi dalam pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu, diadakan lokakarya internasional pendidikan STEM: mengintegrasikan ilmu pengetahuan, teknologi, masyarakat, dan lingkungan untuk pembinaan kegiatan TPACK guru inservice. Hasil dari workshop ini adalah peningkatan inservice physics teacher TPACK (sebagai peserta) dalam mengintegrasikan ilmu pengetahuan, teknologi, masyarakat, dan lingkungan Pendidikan STEM dapat dilakukan dengan melakukan semacam workshop yang menjelaskan secara jelas dan memberikan pengalaman bagi semua peserta. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh penggunaan laboratorium virtual secara daring pada praktikum Fluida Statis terhadap peningkatan Keterampilan Proses Sains (KPS) pada siswa kelas XI IPA 2 Pringsewu dengan desain penelitian Pre-eksperimental Design jenis One Sample Pretest-posttest Design. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu: instrumen pretest-posttest materi fluida statis dalam bentuk pilihan jamak sebanyak 20 butir soal. KPS siswa yang diamati antara lain: melakukan pengamatan, menafsirkan pengamatan (interpretasi), mengelompokkan/klasifikasi, berkomunikasi, berhipotesis, dan merencanakan percobaan. Hasil uji data penelitian diketahui bahwa persentase pencapaian rata-rata KPS siswa pada pretsest sebesar 42,52% dengan kategori cukup, sedangkan persentase rata-rata pencapaian pada posttest sebesar 73,48% dengan kategori baik Hasil uji hipotesis dengan menggunakan analisis paired sample t-test diperoleh nilai sig. sebesar 0,00 < 0,050, menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara persentase rata-rata KPS pretest dan posttest, dimana setelah menggunakan laboratorium virtual secara daring pada praktikum fluida statis rata-rata pencapaian KPS siswa pada posttest lebih besar. Dari hipotesis tersebut diharapkan penggunaan laboratorium virtual ini sangat membantu pada pembelajaran daring di kondisi pandemi covid-19 This study describes the effect of using an online virtual laboratory in the Static Fluids practicum on improving Science Process Skills (SPS) in class XI IPA 2 Pringsewu with a Pre-experimental Design type of One-Sample Pretest-posttest Design. The data collection techniques used in this study were: pretest-posttest instruments for static fluid material in the form of multiple-choice as many as 20 items. The SPS students observed included: making observations, interpreting observations (interpretation), classifying/classifying, communicating, hypothesizing, and planning experiments. The results of the research data test show that the average percentage of students' SPS achievement at the pretest is 42.52%, with sufficient category. The average percentage of achievement in the post-test is 73.48%, with a good category. Hypothesis test results using paired sample t-analysis test obtained sig value. of 0.00 < 0.050, they were indicating a significant difference between the average percentage of pretest and post-test SPS. After using an online virtual laboratory in the static fluid practicum, the average student's SPS achievement in the post-test is greater. From this hypothesis, it is hoped that using this virtual laboratory will be very helpful in online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Tujuan pada penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh implementasi kurikulum terpadu model integrated berbasis STEM menggunakan flipped classroom dalam  meningkatkan penguasaan konsep peserta didik. Pemilihan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, maka kelas sampel penelitian ini yaitu peserta didik kelas VII I SMP Al-Kautsar Bandar Lampung tahun ajaran 2020/2021. Desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian yaitu Pre-eksperimental dengan jenis One-Group­-Pretest-Posttest. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan berupa lembar tes soal pilihan ganda. Pembelajaran dengan menerapkan pendekatan STEM mampu meningkatkan penguasaan konsep siswa hal ini terlihat dari nilai rata-rata nilai posttest siswa lebih unggul daripada nilai rata-rata pretest, yaitu 84,29 > 66.79.  Berdasarkan hasil data penelitian menunjukkan nilai rata-rata N-gain, yaitu sebesar 0,503 yang berkatagori sedang, dan nilai signifikasi pada uji Paired Sample T-test sebesar 0,000 artinya bahwa implementasi kurikulum terpadu model integrated berbasis STEM mampu meningkatkan penguasaan konsep siswa pada materi global warming. Melalui pendekatan STEM yang diterapkan pada materi global warming peserta didik membentuk sikap kreatifitas, meningkatkan pemahaman materi, dan menggiring peserta didik untuk lebih menyadari pentingnya menjaga lingkungan. The purpose o this study is to find out the effect of implementing a STEM-based integrated model curriculum using a flipped classroom in increasing students' mastery of concepts. The sample in this study were 7th grade I students of Al-Kautsar Bandar Lampung Junior High School in the academic year 2020/2021. The research design used in the research is Pre-experimental with the type One-Group¬-Pretest-Posttest. The instrument in this study used a multiple-choice test sheet. Learning by applying the STEM approach can increase students' mastery of concepts; this can be seen from the average posttest value, which is greater than the pretest score, which is 84.29 > 66.79. Based on the research data results, the average N-gain is 0.503 medium-category. The significance value of the Paired Sample T-test is 0.000, meaning that implementing the STEM-based integrated curriculum can improve students' mastery of concepts in global warming material. Through the STEM approach applied to global warming material, students form a creative attitude, enhance understanding of the material, and better realise the importance of maintaining the environment.

Abstract

Improving the quality of education is important for every educational institution from elementary school to college. In reality, the learning and learning process at school does not go well, especially in the thinking ability of students, thinking ability is a cognitive domain that provides a knowledge process from the knowledge that will be obtained by students. To overcome the difficulties of learning environmental pollution science class VII, it is important to use an approach that facilitates a thorough understanding of the concept. Teachers are facilitators in learning, of course, can provide solutions to problems that occur during the teaching and learning process, 21st century teachers are no longer as teacer centers but as facilitators in the learning process to achieve learning goals. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of problem-based learning-based e-module product development to improve the learning outcomes of seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Blambangan Umpu Way Kanan. This research is a development research using the ADDIE approach, with 30 research samples to test the effectiveness of the product using the N-Gain test. The results of the study can be concluded that the results of the development carried out by researchers on environmental pollution material are known to be very effective e-modules based on problem-based learning to improve the learning outcomes of Science Class VII SMP Negeri 1 Blambangan Umpu Way Kanan with the results of 71% there are changes when before and after using e-module development products.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the comparison of direct practicum with virtual laboratory practicum based on phet simulation on geometric optics material in terms of learning style, cognitive learning outcomes, and student science process skills. The research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Belalau, West Lampung Regency, with a population of all XI IPA class students, a sample of XI IPA 2 class of 26 students and XI IPA 3 class of 27 students taken by purposive sampling technique. This study used a research design, namely factorial design. Data analysis techniques used were N-Gain test, normality test, homogeneity test, and Two Way Anova test. The results showed that there was no significant difference after the application of hands on practicum and virtual laboratory based on PhET Simulation on optical geometry material in terms of learning style, cognitive aspect learning outcomes, and student science process skills. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that learning methods with hands on practicum and virtual practicum patterns are able to accommodate different learning styles of students and train learning outcomes of cognitive aspects and learning outcomes of science process skills aspects of students.
