Abstract

This article presents a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) on entrepreneurial competence and innovation competence/innovative behavior among Generation Z (Gen Z) in publications from 2023 to 2026. Using the PRISMA 2020 approach and a structured Scopus search, 29 eligible articles were identified and analyzed through thematic synthesis and an antecedents–mechanisms–outcomes framework. The findings highlight three dominant domains: digitally oriented entrepreneurial competence, entrepreneurial literacy and readiness, and innovation competence ranging from innovation attitudes to innovative behavior and green innovation. Key mechanisms include digital self-efficacy, entrepreneurial alertness, and mindset development, while technology/AI and sustainability shape emerging research trends. Overall, the review shows that the literature is still dominated by intention-based outcomes, indicating the need for future studies to focus more on innovative behavior, entrepreneurial action, and stronger construct and instrument consistency.

Abstract

Resource-Advantage (R-A) Theory has emerged as one of the most influential theoretical frameworks in marketing and strategic management for explaining how firms achieve and sustain competitive advantage through heterogeneous resources. Despite its growing application across various domains, including marketing strategy, innovation, customer relationship management, digital transformation, and sustainability, the literature remains fragmented. This study conducts a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) to synthesize the development, theoretical contributions, and future research directions of Resource-Advantage Theory in marketing. Following the PRISMA 2020 guidelines, articles published between 1995 and 2025 were identified from major academic databases, screened according to predefined inclusion and exclusion criteria, and analyzed using thematic synthesis. The findings reveal five dominant research themes: (1) competitive advantage and firm performance, (2) market-based resources and customer information assets, (3) marketing strategy and market segmentation, (4) digital transformation and analytical capabilities, and (5) sustainability and social impact. The review demonstrates that R-A Theory serves as a powerful integrative framework capable of bridging the divide between micro and macro marketing perspectives while providing a foundation for a general theory of marketing. The study concludes by proposing future research opportunities related to artificial intelligence, social commerce, customer engagement, and sustainable marketing.

Abstract

Abstract

This systematic literature review comprehensively analyzes the relationship between leadership styles and employee performance based on empirical evidence from 2020-2025. The research population comprises employees and leaders across various organizational sectors including education, healthcare, and industry. Using the PRISMA framework with purposive sampling technique, the selection process from an initial pool of 500 studies identified through database searches yielded 14 high-quality empirical studies as the final sample that met the inclusion criteria. The methodology employed systematic literature review with rigorous quality assessment and analysis. Key findings reveal that the relationship between leadership styles and employee performance is predominantly positive and significant, with three distinct patterns emerging. The majority of studies (8 studies) demonstrated dominant positive influence from transformational and servant leadership, while several studies (3 studies) showed positive but non-dominant influence where organizational factors outweighed leadership effects. Notably, no studies found significant negative impacts from constructive leadership styles. Furthermore, the relationship was frequently mediated by variables including ethical organizational culture, knowledge sharing, and job security. In conclusion, this systematic review substantiates that adaptive, empowerment-focused leadership serves as a crucial driver of employee performance, offering substantial practical value for organizations to develop evidence-based, contextual leadership strategies that foster work environments conducive to sustained productivity and organizational excellence in the modern business landscape.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the development of literature on sharia compliance in relation to Islamic bank customer loyalty, identify the influence of sharia compliance on customer loyalty, evaluate differences in research findings across various geographical and cultural contexts, examine the interaction of sharia compliance with contemporary factors such as digital transformation, and identify research gaps and future research agendas. The study employs a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach guided by PRISMA. Bibliometric analysis was conducted using VOSviewer software to map the development of research themes, conceptual relationships, and trends related to sharia compliance and Islamic bank customer loyalty. The synthesis results indicate that sharia compliance literature has evolved from a normative approach to a strategic perspective, positioning sharia compliance as a source of competitive advantage and a driver of long-term customer relationships. Sharia compliance has been shown to positively influence Islamic bank customer loyalty, although its effect is not always direct and is often mediated by factors such as trust, satisfaction, service quality, and customer experience. Furthermore, differences in findings were observed across geographical and cultural contexts, with countries of high religiosity tending to regard sharia compliance as a primary determinant of loyalty. This study also identifies research gaps, including the dominance of adoption-focused studies over long-term loyalty, limited exploration of sharia governance, and the scarcity of research in the Indonesian context and the digital era.

Abstract

Spaced repetition is a learning strategy in which material is reviewed at expanding intervals to strengthen retrieval and long-term memory. This systematic review evaluated spaced repetition in preparation for health competency examinations by examining test performance, knowledge retention, learner engagement, satisfaction, and implementation models. Searches were conducted in PubMed, ScienceDirect, Google Scholar, Scopus, Web of Science, and ERIC using Boolean combinations of "spaced repetition", "spaced learning", "distributed practice", "retrieval practice", "competency examination", "exam preparation", "test performance", "health education", "medical education", and "healthcare". Following PRISMA 2020 screening, 20 empirical studies published between 2015 and 2025 were included. The most notable result was that 14 studies (70.0%) reported significant improvement in examination or competency-related scores, 10 studies (50.0%) assessed retention beyond the immediate post-test, and 12 studies (60.0%) reported engagement metrics. However, 4 studies (20.0%) showed mixed or non-significant findings, indicating that effectiveness depends on intervention duration, content type, learner engagement, and curriculum support. Spaced repetition was generally more beneficial for factual, biomedical, and procedural knowledge than for complex clinical reasoning outcomes. Digital flashcards, scheduled low-stakes quizzes, analytics-based monitoring, and review blocks aligned with competency blueprints are practical pathways for curriculum integration. Further multi-institutional studies are needed to standardize implementation protocols and evaluate long-term transfer to clinical practice.

Abstract

This article examines the role of tourist motivation, past travel experiences, and perceived barriers in shaping revisit intentions to a destination. This study highlights that revisit intention is influenced by a complex interaction between psychological factors and tourist experiences, not just by service satisfaction alone. The method used is a systematic literature review with a search of articles in the Scopus indexed database. The analyzed studies include empirical and conceptual research relevant to the variables of motivation, experience, barriers, and tourist loyalty. This approach allows for a comprehensive and structured identification of patterns of relationships between variables. The results of the study indicate that intrinsic motivation has a strong contribution to revisit intentions, especially when tourists are driven by emotional experiences and the search for meaning in travel. Past travel experiences play a role in shaping emotional attachments and perceived destination value. Perceived barriers, both physical and psychological, have been shown to reduce tourists' tendency to revisit, although motivational factors and positive experiences can still provide a balancing effect. The interaction of these three variables forms a dynamic decision model in tourist behavior. This study emphasizes the importance of integrating destination management strategies that focus on enhancing tourist experiences, strengthening intrinsic motivation, and reducing travel barriers. This approach is relevant for increasing tourist loyalty and the long-term sustainability of tourist destinations.

Abstract

This study aims to systematically review empirical evidence on the role of corporate culture as a strategic driver of employee performance. Using the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) framework, this study analyzed 40 peer-reviewed open-access articles published between 2020 and 2025 and indexed in reputable databases. The findings reveal that corporate culture significantly influences employee performance through shared values, leadership behavior, communication climate, and learning orientation. A strong and adaptive corporate culture enhances employee motivation, work engagement, productivity, and organizational citizenship behavior. This review also identifies gaps in existing research, particularly the limited use of longitudinal designs and the lack of focus on digital and hybrid work cultures. The study contributes to the literature by providing an integrated understanding of how corporate culture drives employee performance and offers strategic insights for organizational development and human resource management
