Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to systematically examine the relationship between entrepreneurial human capital and opportunity recognition by integrating cognitive and capability based perspectives. Although prior research highlights the importance of human capital in entrepreneurship, the mechanisms linking it to opportunity recognition remain theoretically fragmented. To address this gap, this study employs a systematic literature review using the PRISMA protocol and analyzes peer reviewed articles from leading entrepreneurship and management journals. The findings indicate that entrepreneurial human capital serves as a foundational resource that enhances opportunity recognition through cognitive mechanisms, including entrepreneurial alertness, information processing, and opportunity perception. In addition, entrepreneurial capabilities such as knowledge integration capability, learning capability, and digital capability play a crucial role in transforming cognitive insights into opportunity discovery and exploitation. The review also shows that opportunity recognition increasingly occurs within digitally enabled entrepreneurial ecosystems. This study contributes by proposing an integrative framework that connects human capital, cognition, and entrepreneurial capabilities, positioning opportunity recognition as a dynamic and multilayered process. It enriches entrepreneurship literature by clarifying the mediating role of cognition and the enabling role of capabilities, while offering implications for education and policy development.

Abstract

This article aims to analyze how the literature on digital marketing capabilities explains competitive advantage and to assess the extent to which Resource-Advantage Theory can be used as an integrative lens for understanding the relationships among resources, capabilities, and market outcomes. This study employs a systematic literature review approach following the PRISMA. The review was conducted through descriptive bibliometric analysis and keyword mapping using VOSviewer, based on metadata and abstracts. The findings show a significant increase in publications in 2024-2025, with dominant themes including digital marketing, competitive advantage, business performance, social media, big data/AI, data governance, marketing agility, customer experience, and sustainability. The review also confirms that the resource-based view and dynamic capabilities are the dominant theoretical foundations, whereas Resource-Advantage Theory has not yet been used explicitly. Accordingly, this study proposes a Resource-Advantage process model and a future research agenda that emphasizes innovation, trust, data governance, and sustainability.

Abstract

Entrepreneurial human capital has increasingly been recognized as a critical determinant of entrepreneurial success, innovation, and business sustainability. While previous studies have extensively examined entrepreneurial attitude and entrepreneurial skills, these dimensions have often been investigated separately, resulting in fragmented understanding of how they collectively contribute to entrepreneurial human capital. This study aims to synthesize existing empirical evidence on the roles of entrepreneurial attitude and entrepreneurial skills and to examine their integration within the entrepreneurial human capital framework. A systematic literature review (SLR) was conducted following the PRISMA guidelines. Relevant studies published between 2000 and 2025 were identified through searches in Scopus, Web of Science, ScienceDirect, and SpringerLink using structured Boolean search strings. After applying predefined inclusion, exclusion, and quality assessment criteria, eligible empirical studies were analyzed through thematic synthesis. The findings reveal that entrepreneurial attitude functions as a motivational resource that influences entrepreneurial intention, opportunity recognition, persistence, and the willingness to invest in entrepreneurial learning. Entrepreneurial skills, including opportunity recognition, decision-making, leadership, networking, and risk management, provide the operational capabilities required to transform entrepreneurial intentions into effective entrepreneurial actions. More importantly, the review demonstrates that entrepreneurial attitude and entrepreneurial skills are complementary dimensions whose interaction forms a stronger and more comprehensive entrepreneurial human capital than either dimension alone. This study contributes to entrepreneurship literature by proposing a multidimensional conceptualization of entrepreneurial human capital that integrates motivational and competency-based resources. The findings also highlight the importance of entrepreneurship education and training programs that simultaneously foster positive entrepreneurial attitudes and practical entrepreneurial competencies to enhance entrepreneurial performance and sustainable venture success.

Abstract

This research aims to systematically review the relationship between entrepreneurial leadership and innovation, focusing on key mechanisms and emerging research trends. A Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach was applied following PRISMA 2020 guidelines. Relevant articles published between 2019 and 2025 were collected from major databases, including Scopus, Web of Science, and ScienceDirect. After a rigorous screening process, 32 studies were selected for analysis. The findings reveal that entrepreneurial leadership significantly enhances innovation outcomes, including innovation performance, innovative behavior, and organizational innovation capability. The relationship is often mediated by psychological factors such as creativity, work engagement, and psychological empowerment, as well as knowledge-based mechanisms including knowledge sharing and organizational learning. In addition, organizational context and digital factors, such as digital capability and artificial intelligence readiness, play an important role in strengthening innovation. This study contributes by synthesizing current literature, identifying research gaps, and proposing directions for future research on entrepreneurial leadership and innovation.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the dynamics and trends of environmental communication research in sustainable development through the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach and bibliometric analysis using VOSviewer. Data were obtained from the Scopus database for the period 2017–2026 and analyzed using the PRISMA framework and the PICO approach to ensure the relevance of the literature. The results of the study show that there has been a significant increase in environmental communication publications in the past decade. The bibliometric analysis identifies four main clusters, namely strategic concepts, policy and impact, behavioral and social, and normative and institutional aspects. The findings also show the fragmentation of knowledge and the dominance of technocratic approaches that position communication as an instrument of behavior change. In addition, the environmental communication paradigm evolved from a linear model to a participatory, digital, and integrative approach. This research emphasizes the importance of developing a more holistic, critical, and multidisciplinary environmental communication model in supporting sustainable development.
