Abstract

Pandemi COVID-19 menyebabkan peningkatan penggunaan media sosial yang digunakan sebagai media komunikasi, mencari informasi, dan media hiburan. Mayoritas pengguna media sosial adalah kalangan pelajar dan mahasiswa. Penggunaan media sosial yang berlebihan dapat memunculkan masalah kesehatan, salah satunya adalah insomnia. Mahasiswa kedokteran umumnya memiliki stressful environment yang berpotensi meningkatkan kecemasan dan stres sehingga menyebabkan insomnia. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan intensitas penggunaan media sosial dengan insomnia di masa pandemi COVID-19 pada mahasiswa kedokteran Universitas Tanjungpura. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan Cross sectional. Pengambilan data menggunakan kuesioner SONTUS dan ISI-versi Indonesia. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa kedokteran Universitas Tanjungpura angkatan 2019,2020, dan 2021 dengan jumlah responden yaitu 75 mahasiswa. Data yang sudah terkumpul dianalisis menggunakan uji korelasi Spearman. Dari 75 responden, penggunaan media sosial pada responden dengan intensitas sedang yaitu 36 mahasiswa, dan tingkat insomnia ringan yaitu sebanyak 42 mahasiswa. Terdapat 19 mahasiswa (25,3%) yang memiliki intensitas penggunaan media sosial yang sedang dengan insomnia ringan. Dari uji korelasi Spearman terdapat hubungan antara intensitas penggunaan media sosial dengan insomnia, dengan nilai p=0,000 (<0,05). Kesimpulan, terdapat hubungan antara intensitas penggunaan media social dengan insomnia di masa pandemi COVID-19 pada mahasiswa kesokteran Universtias Tanjungpura.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the application of the traditional game of Bakiak in developing compound intelligence in children aged 5 6 years in KB/TK Aulaadul Yamin Pontianak. This research method was descriptive with a qualitiative approach and was a type od action research. The research sample was all students in group B in KB/TK Aulaadul Yamin Pontianak, as many as 16 children. The research instrument used was an observation sheet as the data colletion tool using observation and documentaion techniques. The results showed that a childs compound intelligence could develop after being given action. The given action wa the activity of playing the tradisional game of Bakiak. The result showed that compound intelligence, especialy kinesthetic intelligence through traditional games of Bakiak, made in cycle I was 12,5%, then developed in cycle II to 81,25% and interpersonal intelligence from cycle I by 25%, then developed in cycle II to 87,5%. Thus, childrens compound intelligence, particularly kinesthetic and interpersonal intelligence, can be developed through play activities with traditional Bakiak games

Abstract

Teacher performance is the ability of a teacher to carry out learning task at school,expecially at the pre-school age and responsible for students under his guidance by increasing the creativity of studens' learning.Providing incentives to teachers is one form of activity carried out by the government in order to improve teacher performance. While work motivation is the driving force that causes people to act to achieve goals by making changes for the better.The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of providing incentives and work motivation on the performance of kindergarten teachers in sungai Ambawang district,Kubu raya Regency.Descriptive research desaign with a sample of 36respondents and analyzed by multiple regression data with a statictical product and Servis Solution (SPSS).The results show that: (1)The Provision of non material incentives to techer performance is appropriate.(2) The Provision of non material incentives for teacher performance is appropriate (3)The Provision of incentives has a partially significant effect on teacher performance.(4)Teacher work motivation has a partially significant effect on teacher performance.(5)The multiple regression analysis test concluded that the Provision of incentives and work motivation has a simultaneous effect on techer performance.From the results of research data analysis shows that the magnitude of the effect of incentives and work motivation on teacher performance is 47.9% while the rest is influenced by other variables.The better the Provision of incentives and work motivation for teachers,the resulting performance can increase better.

Abstract

Unexpected changes in various aspects of life during the COVID-19 pandemic have made students more vulnerable to anxiety. Anxiety among students, especially medical students, requires more attention because it might affect their academic performance and professional development. One factor that may affect anxiety is the ability to manage emotions or emotional intelligence. The higher the emotional intelligence, the better the emotion management skill. Objective: To determined the correlation between emotional intelligence and anxiety levels during the COVID-19 pandemic among third-year medical students at Tanjungpura University. Methods: This study was an analytical cross-sectional study. A total of 79 students participated in the study. The emotional intelligence and Beck Anxiety Inventory questionnaires were used to measure emotional intelligence and anxiety levels, respectively. Data were analyzed using the Spearman correlation test. Results: The results of the emotional intelligence correlation test with anxiety on self-awareness variables (p = 0.006; r = -0,307), self-control (p = 0.491; r = -0.079), motivation (p = 0.097; r = -0.188), empathy (p = 0.933; r = -0.010), and social skills (p = 0.579; r = -0.063). Conclusion: There is a statistically significant opposite correlation between emotional intelligence on the self-awareness variable and the level of anxiety during the COVID-19 pandemic among third-year medical students at Tanjungpura University.Keywords: emotional intelligence, anxiety, COVID-19 pandemic, medical students

Abstract

Minimnya media pembelajaran yang dapat mengenalkan kearifan lokal budaya daerah Kalimantan Barat kepada anak usia dini, merupakan fenomena yang ada belakangan ini. Oleh karena itu tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbentuk “Ular Tangga Khatulistiwa” untuk pengenalan budaya khas Kalimantan Barat kepada anak usia dini. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan. Subjek penelitian adalah guru PAUD X Pontianak. Sumber data penelitian adalah dosen PAUD untuk mendapatkan data validasi ahli materi dan guru PAUD untuk mendapatkan data validasi ahli media, dengan menggunakan metode wawancara dan angket. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan media pembelajaran berbentuk “Ular Tangga Khatulistiwa” berbasis budaya khas Kalimantan Barat ini layak digunakan untuk mengenalkan budaya kepada anak usia dini. Implikasi hasil penelitian ini adalah memberikan wawasan adanya media pembelajaran yang bisa digunakan untuk anak usia dini berbentuk Ular Tangga Khatulistiwa” dalam mengenalkan budaya khas Kalimantan Barat

Abstract

The rapid increase in smartphone use among young children has raised concerns about its potential impact on early childhood development. This study aimed to develop an educational video as a parental support tool using a Research and Development (R&D) approach guided by the ADDIE instructional design model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Data were collected through structured interviews and standardized questionnaires involving parents of early childhood education (ECE) students. Content validation was conducted by ECE lecturers, while media validation involved experienced ECE teachers. During the analysis phase, parental needs related to content and media format were identified. The design and development phases produced a video based on these needs, followed by expert validation. The implementation phase involved limited testing with parents of children aged 3–6, and evaluation measured content quality, media design, and user responses. Results indicate that the video is pedagogically appropriate, user-friendly, and positively received, enhancing parental understanding and self-efficacy. This study highlights the importance of responsive multimedia tools in supporting digital-age parenting practices.

Abstract

The digital age brings new challenges for parents in stimulating early childhood physical motor development. Excessive use of technology can reduce children's physical activity, so an effective mentoring strategy is needed. This study aims to develop a pocket book as a guide for parents in stimulating the physical motor development of early childhood. The research method used is research and development (R&D) with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Data collection was carried out using interview instruments and questionnaires. The research subjects were parents of PAUD children with material expert validators from PG-PAUD lecturers and media expert validators from PAUD teachers. The analysis techniques used were qualitative and quantitative. The results of the validation test showed that this pocket book has a high level of feasibility based on the assessment of material experts, media experts, and user responses. With this pocket book, it is hoped that parents can be more active in supporting children's physical motor development in the digital era, so that the balance between the use of technology and physical activity can be maintained.

Abstract

Pada Era pandemi COVID-19 perubahan sistem pembelajaran terjadi secara drastis yang membuat mahasiswa kedokteran harus bisa beradaptasi sehingga menimbulkan stres akademik. Stres akademik merupakan stres yang dialami oleh seseorang ketika menempuh pendidikan. Stres yang tidak diatasi dengan baik akan berpengaruh terjadinya nyeri kepala salah satunya Tension Type Headache (TTH). Hal ini membuat peneliti tertarik untuk mengetahui hubungan antara stres akademik dan kejadian Tension Type Headache (TTH) di era pandemic COVID-19 pada mahasiswa Prodi Kedokteran Universitas Tanjungpura. Tujuan: Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah peneliti ingin mengetahui hubungan antara stres akademik dan kejadian Tension Type Headache (TTH) di era pandemic COVID-19 pada mahasiswa Prodi Kedokteran Universitas Tanjungpura. Metode : Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian analitik observasional dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Program Studi Kedokteran Universitas Tanjungpura. Sampel dari penelitian ini adalah 207 mahasiswa dengan teknik sampel menggunakan stratified random sampling. Analisis bivariat menggunakan uji korelasi spearman menggunakan bantuan SPSS ver 25.0. Hasil: Berdasarkan hasil analisis SPSS ver 25.0 yang dilakukan menggunakan uji spearman didapatkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 (sig < 0,05) dengan korelasi sebesar 0,263. Kesimpulan : Terdapat hubungan antara stres akademik dengan kejadian Tension Type Headache (TTH) di era pandemi COVID-19 pada mahasiswa Prodi Kedokteran Universitas Tanjungpura yang arah hubungannya adalah searah atau positif (+).

Abstract

The purpose of this research is the development of learning media for children aged 4-5 years in Islamic Kindergarten Al Azhar 21 Pontianak named "Rumah Pintar". The existence of this learning media is expected to be a useful reference for PAUD science and contribute to learning in PAUD, especially at Al Azhar 21 Islamic Kindergarten in Pontianak. In order to fulfill the research objectives, the researcher uses a 4D development model, namely define, design, develop, and disseminate which can be adapted into 4Ps, namely definition, design, development, and dissemination. The research subjects were teachers at Al Azhar 21 Islamic Kindergarten in Pontianak. Sources of research data are PAUD practitioners with a Masters in PAUD education and involve psychologists who work in PAUD Pontianak city to obtain validation data from material experts and PAUD media experts. The method used is the method of interviews and questionnaires. The data analysis technique used in this research is descriptive qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques. The results of the study show that the "Smart House" learning media is suitable for children aged 4-5 years after being revised from input from research subjects and validators of material experts and media experts.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the cultivation of the character of independence in children aged 5-6 years in TK Islamiyah Pontianak. This research method is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The research subjects were 2 teachers, and 11 children. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the research show: (1) Planning for the cultivation of self-reliance character is not clearly described. However, in compiling the RPPH and SOP there are values of independence which are taken based on the basic competency indicators in the 2013 curriculum (2) Implementation of the inculcation of the character of independence, the teacher guides, supervises, and motivates and provides opportunities for children to carry out activities in accordance with the SOP and RPPH gradually with discipline and independence through various methods, especially the habituation method, example, and the method of conversing. (3) Evaluation of the inculcation of the character of independence is carried out through observation from the time the child arrives until the child goes home and through documentation of the child's development in the form of an achievement scale, observation notes, and children's work.
