Abstract

The Teaching Assistance Program is part of the implementation of the Higher Education Curriculum aimed at improving students’ pedagogical, professional, social, and personal competencies as future teachers. This activity was carried out by students of the Primary School Teacher Education Study Program at Universitas Katolik Santo Thomas during the even semester of the 2024/2025 academic year at UPT SDN 064024 Medan Selayang. The implementation method was collaborative and practice-based, involving classroom observation, lesson planning and delivery, learning assistance, as well as participation in non-teaching and extracurricular activities. The results of the program indicate that students were able to effectively integrate learning theories with real-world classroom practices. Furthermore, their involvement in various school activities contributed to strengthening their professional character as future educators. This program has proven to be a holistic and contextual learning platform to prepare students for careers in primary education.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of basic literacy on the reading ability of fourth grade students at SD Negeri 065011 Medan Selayang, district for the 2023/2024 academic year. This type of research is quantitative using the expost-facto method. The population of this study was all fourth grade students at SD Negeri 065011 Medan Selayang District, totaling 77 students. Sampling was taken using a purposive sampling technique and 28 students were obtained. The results of this study show that students' reading ability is in the very good category with an average of 82.46. The results of this research show that the results of the correlation test can be seen that the correlation coefficient is 0.687, meaning that r_count (0,687) ≥ r_tabel (0.374) then is accepted. So there is a very strong influence between basic literacy on the reading ability of students in class IV of SD Negeri 065011 Medan Selayang District. It can also be seen from the t-test where t_count > t_table, namely 4,817 ≥ 2,056, thus stating that h_a is accepted. This shows that there is a significant positive influence from the use of basic literacy on the reading ability of students in class IV of SD Negeri 065011, Medan Selayang District, Academic Year 2023/2024.

Abstract

The present study discusses the influence of the principal's leadership on teacher performance in elementary schools. The research population of all teachers at public elementary school 047159 is 15. The sampling method used is non-probability sampling, specifically saturated sampling for 15 teachers. The data collection instrument is a questionnaire with a Likert scale that has 5 alternatives consisting of 110 items. The instrument validation test used the help of data processing results from SPSS version 25.0, while the instrument reliability used the Alpha Cronbach formula. Data analysis was conducted using simple regression analysis techniques. The research results indicate that the principal's leadership is high with a rate of 33% from the questionnaires filled out by the teachers, while performance is very high with a rate of 47%. Based on the research results, the principal's leadership influences the hypothesis test results, where the calculated value is 2.150 and the table value is 1.77. Thus, it influences the principal's leadership on the teachers' performance.

Abstract

This paper discusses the effect of the direct instruction learning model on student learning outcomes on theme 3 Healthy Food at class V of SD Negeri 173418 Pollung in the academic year 2023/2024. The research method used was an experimental method with a one-group pretest-posttest research design. The research sample involved 30 students. Data collection tools used to determine student learning outcomes were question instruments and questionnaires, which were tested for validation and reliability. The average value of learning outcomes obtained during the pretest was 46,4. After that, students were given treatment using the direct instruction learning model. It, in addition, indicated an average score on the post-test with a score of 86. It can be seen that the pre-test and post-test learning outcomes have increased. The data analysis used comes from the normality test. It is known that the results obtained are Lcount 0.200 ≥ Ltable 0.161, which can be said to be normally distributed. Of the correlation coefficient test, the results indicate rcount 0.811 ≥ rtable 0.361 with the interpretation of the r value obtained in the range 0,800 – 1,000. It can be said that there is a very high relationship between the effect of the direct instruction learning model and the learning outcomes of students in class V. Based on the hypothesis test statistical results obtained with tcount 7.333 ≥ ttable 2.048 or significant value 0.000 ≤ 0.05. So, Ha is rejected, which means that there is an effect of the direct instruction learning model on student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes on the theme of heat and its transfer to the sub-theme of temperature and heat by applying the Problem-based Learning model for class V of SD Negeri 091585 AFDELING 7 DOSIN. The research type is Classroom Action Research. The research subjects involved 24 class V students. Based on the research results, it shows that there is an increase in student learning outcomes by implementing the Problem-based Learning model. This can be seen from the increase in student learning outcomes. Of the initial test (pretest), the student learning results were obtained before implementing the Problem-based Learning model. There were three people who completed it with a percentage of 12.5% while 21 people did not complete it with a percentage of 87.5% and an average of 37.95. In the first cycle, the observations of teacher activities were obtained at 52% while observations of student activities were obtained at 50%, there were 11 students who completed their learning outcomes with a percentage of 45.83% and 13 students who did not complete it with a percentage of 54.17%, and with an average value of 59.95. In cycle II, teacher activity observations were obtained at 88% while student activity observations were obtained at 90%. There were 19 students who completed their learning outcomes with a percentage of 79.17% and five students who did not complete it with a percentage of 20.82% with an average value of 73.45. This shows that there is a significant positive influence from the use of the Problem-based Learning model on student learning outcomes in theme heat and its transfer in class V at SD Negeri 091585 AFDELING 7 DOSIN in the academic year 2022/2023.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Pendekatan Saintifik Terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa Kelas III Pada Tema Praja Muda Karana di UPT SD Negeri 068008 Damar, Kecamatan Medan Tuntungan, Kota Medan Tahun Pembelajaran 2023/2024. Variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan saintifik (X) dan variabel terikat dalam penelitian ini adalah hasil belajar siswa (Y). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen dengan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dan jumlah sampel penelitian ini sebanyak 29 siswa berdasarkan teknik sample random sampling. Data pendekatan saintifik di dapat dari angket yang disebarkan kepada siswa dan hasil belajar siswa di dapat dari nilai Pretest dan Posttest siswa pada tahun pembelajaran 2023/2024. Hasil belajar siswa menunjukkan bahwa nlai rata-rata siswa kelas II Pretest sebesar 69,93 sedangkan nilai rata-rata Posttest sebesar 95,03. Selanjutnya hasil pengujian hipotesis menunjukkan sebesar 3,300 sedangkan sebesar 2,045. Maka terbukti bahwa Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Melalui uji-t tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif yang signifikan antara pendekatan saintifik terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas III Pada Tema Praja Muda Karana. Abstract

Desain pembelajaran yang baik, ditunjang fasilitas yang memadai ditambah dengan kreatifitas guru akan membuat peserta didik lebih mudah mencapai target belajar. Untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa guru harus kreatif dalam menggunakan model pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning berbantuan Wordwall untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa. Jenis Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode One Group Pretest-Posttest-design Jenis sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Sampel penelitian yang digunakan adalah siswa kelas IVB yang berjumlah 30 siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning berbantuan Wordwall untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 040444 Kabanjahe termasuk kategori baik dengan rata- rata 76,6

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Make A Match terhadap hasil belajar IPAS siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 101905 Pasar Melintang Kecamatan Lubuk Pakam Tahun Pembelajaran 2023/2024. Pada Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dan jenis penelitian pre eksperimen, populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik SD Negeri 1019105 Pasar Melintang yang jumlahnya sebanyak 7 kelas. Pengambilan sampel dengan menggunakan sampel non probality jenis purposive sampling dengan sampel seluruh siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 101905 Pasar Melintang yang berjumlah 30 siswa. Untuk mengetahui kemampuan awal siswa, peneliti melakukan Pretest dengan nilai rata-rata 59,33 kategori tidak baik. Setelah peneliti menggunakan model pembelajaran koopeartif tipe Make A Match menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan dengan nilai rata-rata 80,4 kategori baik

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Discovery Learning terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada tema Tumbuhan Sumber Kehidupan Di Bumi di kelas IV SD Negeri 097820 Bah Jambi Tahun Pembelajaran 2023/2024. Variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah model pembelajaran Discovery Learning berbantuan media audio visual (X) dan variabel terikat dalam penelitian ini adalah hasil belajar siswa (Y). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen dengan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dan jumlah sampel penelitian ini adalah 25 siswa berdasarkan  teknik sampling jenuh.  Instrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner/angket, instrumen tes pilihan berganda. Hasil belajar siswa menunjukan rat-rata pretest 62,65 sedangkan nilai rata-rata posttest 85,64 dan untuk kuesioner/angket siswa memperoleh nilai rata-rata 92,52. Selanjutnya penguji hipotesis menunjukan dengan thitung sebesar 9,984  sedangkan ttabel 2,068 maka terbukti bahwa hipotesis lebih besar maka Ho ditolak dan  Ha diterima. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa ada pengaruh antara Model pembelajaran Discovery Learning terhadap hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) Tingkat berpikir kreatif siswa mata pelajaran SBDP kelas V SD Negeri 155712 Tumba Jae 2 Tahun Pembelajaran2023/ 2024. (2) mengetahui proses pelaksanaan metode Brainstorming pada mata pelajaran SBDP kelas V di SD Negeri 155712 Tumba jae 2 Tahun Pembelaran 2023/ 2024. (3) Pengaruh metode Brainstorming terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa pada mata pelajaran SBDP kelas V di SD Negeri 155712 Tumba jae 2 Tahun Pembelajaran 2023/2024. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari angket dan instrumen tes. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas V SD Negeri 155712 Tumba Jae 2 yang berjumlah 30 siswa. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan hasil kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa sebelum diberikan perlakuan (Pretest) sebesar 59,6 dan sesudah diberikan perlakuan dengan metode pembelajaran Brainstorming (Posttest) diperoleh rata rata sebesar 85,13.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa adanya pengaruh sangat kuat antara variabel X terhadap variabel Y dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,841 dengan rtabel (0,361) maka Ha diterima.selanjutnya penguji hipotesis menunjukkan dengan thitung sebesar 8,215 sedangkan ttabel 2,042 maka dapat dikatakan ada pengaruh metode pembelajaran SBDP terhadap kemampuan kreatif siswa dan menunjukkan adanya pengaruh positif yang signifikan, dengan demikian Ha diterima yaitu ada pengaruh antara metode pembelajaran SBDP dengan kemampuan kreatif siswa.
